Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday chaired the third Cabinet Committee on Security meeting since the West Asia conflict began, focusing on safeguarding India from the war's impact.

00:04Cabinet Committee on Security will meet in West Asia.
00:07This is the third security meet since the West Asia war began.
00:11The last one was on 22nd of March where contingency issues were discussed,
00:16especially in the wake of the conflict escalating in West Asia.
00:20LPG at that time was one of the core issues that were discussed.
00:26Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajanath Singh, Home Minister Ramit Shah, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman,
00:32External Affairs Minister S.J. Shankar, the key cabinet, the CCS, will be meeting today in just about five minutes.

01:35That entails Defence Minister, the Home Minister, Finance Minister and External Affairs Minister alongside the Prime Minister.

02:26Aishwarya, what is going to be on agenda?
02:30Well, you know, Priti, one of the things that the government since day one has been looking at
02:34is the fact that they want to make sure that we as Indians, we are not impacted by this war.
02:39See, this is a war in which we are seeing the government trying to safeguard us as much as possible.
02:44And that's the reason why we are seeing the lines being opened.
02:47Prime Minister Modi, let me tell you, has constantly been having conversations.
02:50He, in fact, also at the moment is making sure that all the ministries are connected
02:54because that is something which is very, very important.
02:56We are seeing how the Commerce Ministry, Piuswarya, let me tell you,
02:59just a couple of minutes from the parliament has now left.
03:02And what he, in fact, has been telling us is the fact that the government is very keenly looking
03:07at making sure that the trade is open, also making sure that, A, there is no shortage of LPG,
03:13making sure that these rumours that are doing rounds, that rumour mongering is also curtailed to a great extent.
