01:51can get their craft together right now i'm done well i mean you can do whatever you want i i'm

01:58there now i'm you know oh it's not an easy road but it's also not absolutely impossible the way it's
02:04impossible is that they keep playing jekyll and hyde hockey if they play more hyde than jekyll then
02:10they're really in trouble i don't i don't mean from one game to the next i don't understand it
02:15you had this amazing performance on friday night at buffalo yep against one of the better teams in
02:21hockey and you win it and there really isn't even much of a struggle to win it you won it
02:25and then you
02:26you don't show up on saturday you've you give up three quick goals they score a goal looks great and
02:33then that one gets disallowed again for the third time in like a week they've had a disallowed goal
02:38because of uh of offsides i don't know if they had a single goal disallowed in the regular season
02:44up until the point last week and a half ago but now it's three in like 10 days and it's
02:49brutal and it
02:51takes all the wind out of the sails you know crowd wants to get into it and they can't get
02:56into it
02:56because you know referee rightfully so said no goal offside and then they give up a fourth goal
03:02and you're like are you kidding me you just gave up a fourth goal and just kind of you know
03:08limp
03:08through it and then with five minutes to go they start showing a pulse again and they pull the
03:12gold tender and they get another goal and then they're just you know that that close to forcing
03:17overtime but they didn't get it done and i don't know why this team shows the different effort from
03:25night to night there i mean there is no sense of urgency or not a consistent sense of urgency i
03:31guess is
03:31the right way to put it i mean you can't go and just play 10 minutes of a 60 minute
03:37game you can't
03:38do that and expect to win every everybody else is playing they're in playoff hockey mode and the red
03:43wings are not and i don't understand how that how it gets to that point did they just not have

03:48right mix of players um i was watching uh sports works last night and the birch kid was on
03:54with dan miller and he made a point about gibson and how how great he was from like december 8th
04:02to
04:02march 8th and then since march 8th he's his save percentage is down to like 89 uh which is
04:09considerably lower than the 9 30 that it was in the previous three months so he's regressed the
04:16defensive round around him just is not consistently good enough edvinson doesn't look anywhere near as
04:21formidable you know most cider made an uncharacteristic turnover that led to a
04:25breakaway goal uh and just forward wise they don't have enough grit they don't have the guys
04:32aren't playing with enough heart and it's just it looks like the wrong mix of players and that's a
04:37whole other ball game that's an eisman issue and that's that's something that there's a better
04:41version of themselves that they've played better than this and and for for long periods of time and
04:47they need to get back to that and uh look they're running out of time to prove that they can

05:36lead then it was three one then it was four one four two four three and we saw what happened

05:42the michigan state game and you had to start wondering can they hang on to this lead and they
05:47did they did but not before it got pretty sketchy there um and there was there were some big moments
05:53late in that game ivan kovic came up big and that bouncing puck i don't know if you saw the
05:57bouncing puck
05:58out in front like the last 10 seconds of the game uh there was somebody right on the doorstep there

06:04for duluth so close man but no incredible weekend for uh for michigan athletics for sure yeah well
06:11they've they've got it dialed in right now and um we'll see if the women win tonight but i wonder
