00:07Welcome to MojoPlays, and today we are showcasing some of the most captivating, the most interesting,
00:14beautiful locales in the Legend of Zelda series.
00:30But, before we dive into it, we publish new content all week long, so be sure to subscribe
00:36and ring the bell to get notified about our latest videos.
00:41Rido Village, The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.
00:52While Rido Village isn't the only place these bird folk have called home in the Zelda games,
00:57this location is easily the most beautiful.
01:00Built vertically and spiraling around a large outcropping in the middle of a lake in the
01:05Hebra Province, Rido Village is a truly scenic place to visit.
01:18The airy buildings, colorful inhabitants, and unique design philosophy make the town one
01:23of the few villages to truly embrace and center around these two games' emphasis on climbing
01:29and gliding.
01:30Whether you visit it while the weather's clear or under a drift of snow, Rido Village is a
01:35bracing breath of fresh air.
01:46Mapla Point, The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.
01:58The coastline of Hyrule stretches for a long way in these open world Zelda titles, so it's
02:04easy to overlook this charming area.
02:06On the eastern coast lies a sandy beach with palm trees and a beautiful lagoon with several
02:11waterfalls.
02:12It's the kind of picturesque, tropical location people pay an arm and leg to visit in real life.
02:18And yet we, and Link, get to experience it for considerably less.
02:28And sure, the huge stone talus can put a bit of a damper on the view, but once it's put
02:33back in the ground, it's a relatively peaceful getaway.
02:45Skyloft, The Legend of Zelda, Skyward Sword.
02:57Given that it's a freaking island floating in the sky, Skyloft certainly stands out among
03:03other Zelda locations.
03:04Link in Zelda's hometown, Skyloft acts as both the starting point of their journey in
03:09Skyward Sword and the place you always return to.
03:21There are side quests galore to discover, items to buy in the bazaar, and even a bunch of kitty
03:26cats to pick up and hold.
03:28Skyloft is like if they stuck the Shire from Lord of the Rings on a sky island.
03:32It's both extremely cozy and epic at the same time.
03:43Luralin Village, The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.
03:56Seriously though, the beaches in these games are fantastic.
03:59If you just follow the story quests, you might never even find this beautiful beachside town
04:05on the southern coast of Hyrule.
04:07Luralin Village is a breathtaking tropical paradise, tucked away and separate from all the worries
04:13in other parts of Hyrule.
04:22The vibes are chill, the weather is mild, and the people are helpful and friendly.
04:28And sure, in Tears of the Kingdom you have to reclaim the place from pirates, but that
04:32only makes renovating the place into an even more idyllic resort that much more rewarding.
04:44Clock Town, The Legend of Zelda, Majora's Mask.
04:55The central cog around which this time loop centered game turns, Clock Town is among the
05:00most detailed and extensive towns in Zelda history.
05:04Each section has its own flavor and unique appeal, from East Clock Town's many games and
05:09recreations to the wilderness of North Clock Town, to the many businesses of West Clock Town,
05:14to South Clock Town's central clock tower.
05:25Over each three-day cycle, all the townsfolk have their routines, side quests, and stories.
05:31And even the weather and music change depending on the day.
05:34The way every piece of Clock Town fits and moves so perfectly together has all the precision
05:40and beauty of, well, clockwork.
05:50Bridge of Elden, The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess.
06:02Okay, yes, there's a Bridge of Elden in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom too, but
06:07it's nowhere near as impressive as this one.
06:10Connecting Elden province to Lanayru province and spanning a massive gap, the bridge plays
06:15an important role in the game's story.
06:23It's first featured in a boss battle on horseback, all with the aim of rescuing a kidnapped boy,
06:29Colin.
06:29Part of it is later stolen, and it must be restored.
06:32While the lack of guardrails certainly doesn't seem up to code, there's no denying how epic
06:37the Bridge of Elden looks, particularly when Link's posing atop it.
06:49Great Plateau, The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.
07:04The starting location of Breath of the Wild, The Great Plateau is an iconic opening area
07:09that acts as a microcosm of the massive open world that awaits players.
07:13Right from the moment you run out onto that cliff top, The Great Plateau stuns with its
07:18expansive, breathtaking view.
07:22Hmm.
07:27Over the first couple of hours of gameplay, every bit of its landscape becomes familiar,
07:32yet full of possibility.
07:34There's a snowy peak to climb, a rustic forest to explore, and ancient, crumbling ruins to uncover.
07:40While its layout and the enemies may have changed in Tears of the Kingdom, it still feels like
07:45coming home.
07:54Satori Mountain, The Legend of Zelda, Breath of the Wild, and Tears of the Kingdom.
08:05There are a ton of mountains in these open world games, but Satori Mountain stands tall,
08:10at least in terms of beauty and memorability.
08:13For starters, it's packed to the brim with farmable materials, even containing an entire
08:18apple orchard.
08:25While that's pretty scenic, the peak of Satori Mountain is easily one of the most magical
08:29locations in the series.
08:31Near a small pond lies a cherry blossom tree, perpetually in bloom.
08:36As if that wasn't beautiful enough, on certain nights in Breath of the Wild, or by placing fruit
08:41beneath the tree in Tears of the Kingdom, you can summon an ethereal, deer-like horse called
08:47the Lord of the Mountain.
08:55Windfall Island, The Legend of Zelda, The Wind Waker.
09:04The pastel-soaked world of Wind Waker has many beautiful sights across its vast seas, but its
09:10most bustling town is located on Windfall Island.
09:14It may not be the largest island, but Windfall packs a lot into a comparatively small package,
09:20with tons of side quests.
09:29Centered around a large windmill-slash-lighthouse, the island is home to many shops and townsfolk
09:34as colorful as the art style.
09:36Along with its quaint buildings and picturesque grassy hill, Windfall Island is a blessing of
09:42a location that truly lives up to its name.
09:51Hyrule Castle, Various
10:00One of the most frequently appearing locations in Zelda games, Hyrule Castle always makes an
10:06impression wherever, or whenever, it shows up.
10:09Each version has its own attraction that makes it pop, the gardens of Ocarina of Time, the
10:14undersea majesty of The Wind Waker, the restrained gloom of Twilight Princess, or the persistent
10:20ruined dread of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.
10:31Hyrule Castle is practically the heart of the Legend of Zelda series, and whatever form it
10:37takes is beautiful and manages to stir our hearts every time.
10:50Is there an incredible Zelda place that deserved a spot on our list?
10:54Well, we hope to clock your favorites in the comments.
