00:2630 games that you can play right now on your PlayStation 5. Or if maybe you're considering
00:31getting a PlayStation 5, hopefully our list will help give you some games to add to your wishlist

00:40showcase and highlight 30 of the best games. So just kind of keep that in mind as you're watching
00:44it. And there's a nice mix of games on that are PlayStation 5 exclusives, as well as games that
00:49are available on other platforms. But we wanted to give a nice well-rounded list from all of us here
00:54at MojoPlays that we think you'll enjoy. So without further ado, thank you for being here and enjoy
00:59the list. Before we begin, we publish new content all week long. So be sure to subscribe and ring the

01:30The incredible team at Hazelight have done it again. Following up on their excellent work in
01:35Brothers A Tale of Two Sons, A Way Out, and It Takes Two, Split Fiction is another top-notch
01:41co-op-only experience where gameplay variety is king. Stepping into the shoes of Mio and Zoe,
01:47the pair must venture through perilous worlds of their own creation. You see, Mio and Zoe are
01:51authors, albeit with very different creative and professional goals in mind that lead them to
01:56radar publishing. Split Fiction truly excels with a staggering variety of gameplay scenarios and set
02:02pieces that constantly enthrall. Set in and around a plethora of highly inventive fantasy and sci-fi
02:08worlds, Split Fiction thrusts you and a pal into constantly changing fun adventures.
02:12I took inspiration for this story from when me and my sister were younger.
02:19Look at all of this. It's amazing.
02:22Monster Hunter Wilds
02:33Wilds might be one of the most accessible Monster Hunter games out there, but that doesn't
02:38mean that it isn't stuffed full of fantastic content to engage with. It's up to you to
02:42explore the Forbidden Lands as a renowned hunter in order to slay the many diverse monsters roaming
02:48the many biomes. Wilds doesn't necessarily deviate from other Monster Hunter games, but
02:53instead iterates and refines to make a well-rounded enjoyable adventure with plenty of depth.
02:58Wilds opened things up a bit more for eager hunters with the ability to bring along more
03:02weapons, set up some camps while exploring, and traverse the world more seamlessly. Wilds also
03:08uses the environment to give hunters an advantage and create more dynamic hunts and gameplay.
03:13The feeling of tracking a big beastie, learning its habits and patterns, and eventually slaying
03:18it to gather its parts to create new gear still makes for an enthralling experience from start
03:22to finish.
03:32Prince of Persia The Lost Crown
03:43The Lost Crown might be one of the most underrated and overlooked games of the 2020s. This is a real
03:49shame,
03:49since not only is it one of the best games in the venerable Prince of Persia series, but it also
03:54happens to be a truly stellar Metroidvania. The Lost Crown sees Sargon explore the various biomes and
04:01regions of Mt. Cough in order to rescue Princess San. Of course, things don't go smoothly, and Sargon is
04:06thrust into a mind-bending journey for the ages. The way this game feels to play is just utterly fantastic.
04:12Movement, platforming, and combat are all tight, fluid, and seamless, making exploration here a
04:18true delight. Plus, there are myriad upgrades for Sargon, tons of secret areas, challenging puzzles,
04:24brutal platforming sections, and dazzling boss battles to take part in all throughout the adventure.
04:28All in all, it's a wonderful game that shouldn't be missed by Prince of Persia fans or Metroidvania fans.
04:44Dead Space Remake
04:55Did the OG 2008 Dead Space really need a remake? No. But are we ever so glad that it did?
05:02Absolutely.
05:03Isaac Clarke's harrowing and ominous sci-fi horror outing through the bowels of the USG Ishimura has
05:08never been scarier. This remake feels and plays like a brand new experience, helping it to stand out from
05:14the original release. Now, for the uninitiated, Dead Space thrusts you into the stomping boots of
05:19Engineer Isaac Clarke, as he embarks on a terrifying quest to uncover the dark secrets of the Marker,
05:25while trying to quell the relentless hordes of Necromorphs. This remake is visceral, pun yes,
05:30very much intended here for OG fans. Horrifying and incredibly fun to experience. Just, you know,
05:36be sure to bring along some extra underwear just in case you've been warned.
05:51Dragon Age The Veilguard
06:03Dragon Age The Veilguard is a confounding game. Its biggest sore spots are the forced political agendas
06:10and ideologies that many gamers just want to escape from when playing a grand fantasy RPG.
06:15In this regard, The Veilguard's ridiculous virtue signaling and cringey writing for certain characters,
06:20yes, we're very much looking at you, Tosh, can be quite off-putting for many players, definitely
06:25myself included. However, if, like me, you are somehow able to look past these abhorrent agendas,
06:31then what you have is an honest-to-goodness truly excellent, enjoyable, and fun action RPG,
06:35with some of the best real-time combat around, especially if you opt to be a mage. The game just
06:41feels good to play. Building out your own Rook character is a real treat here, with plenty of
06:45customization, both in terms of gear and skills. Exploring each new creative area is rewarding and
06:51engrossing, interspersed with plenty of good banter and chat between Rook and the various companions,
06:56except, again, for Tosh, of course. It's arguably a better game if you are unfamiliar with Dragon Age,
07:02but even for fans of the series, there's still a lot to love here, again, if you are willing to
07:06overlook the aforementioned woke slash DEI slop. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
07:29This game could probably just be titled The Real Medieval Simulator, and it would perfectly
07:34encapsulate what to expect from the follow-up to the beloved, yet uber-janky first game.
07:38This time around, you once again step into the role of Henry of Scalettes, as he attempts to make a
07:43name
07:43for himself in and around the Kingdom of Bohemia. Everything in this game takes effort and work,
07:48from the simplest of combat encounters and communications with locals, to more challenging
07:53affairs like trying to form alliances. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 iterates and builds upon the
07:58first game fantastically. You are really able to shape Henry into the character of your choosing,
08:03whether that happens to be a high and mighty noble or a humble peasant, or I guess anything in between.
08:08This is a game that demands patience and skill if you hope to make it through one more day in
08:12medieval life.
08:13This lot.
08:25Black Myth Wukong
08:39As sort of the antithesis to many modern video games forcing political agendas and ridiculous
08:44ideologies in their games, such as the aforementioned Veil Guard and other games like Avowed, Lost Records,
08:50Bloom and Rage, and Fey Farm to just name a few, Black Myth Wukong comes along from developer Game
08:55Science to offer up a solid, pure video game experience through and through with no bull crap.
09:01What a revelation, am I right? Black Myth Wukong is deeply enjoyable and a challenging action
09:06adventure title that, while providing its own unique gameplay slash narrative experience,
09:11still does share some similarities with Souls-like games, for better or worse depending on the type
09:15of player you are. It's a polished adventure brimming with over-the-top combat, brutal boss fights,
09:20engrossing exploration, excellent rewards, and stellar world design. If you want a PS5 game that provides
09:27pure adventure, then Black Myth Wukong might just be for you.
09:41Metaphor Re-Fantasio
09:43Time to get back to work.
09:44Right then. Let's get this plan underway.
09:47Eyesway!
09:49Come out!
09:51Show yourself!
09:53Ah! Enough! Stop this Infernal Dib!
09:56Metaphor Re-Fantasio is an outstanding JRPG that appeals to both newcomers of the genre and long-time
10:02fans, especially Persona fans. Set in the kingdom of Ukronia, the game thrust players into a mysterious
10:07assassination plot filled with so many highs and lows that you will never get bored. Exploring this
10:13mirrored real-world slash medieval fantasy realm is so much fun, not least of all due to the flashy
10:18and frenetic turn-based combat and over-the-top storyline. The turn-based battles here are the star of
10:23the show, blending elements from the likes of the Persona and Shin Megami Tensai games,
10:28while adding in their own flair and panache to make each one a real blast.
10:32The unique twist here is that your protagonist and the various party members don various archetypes
10:37to help up the ante in battles. Blending character-specific skills and abilities with archetype
10:42elements makes Metaphor stand out from the pack. Oh, and yeah, don't worry, there are still plenty of
10:48social sim aspects of this game that will keep you hooked and immersed all throughout its beefy runtime.
10:52What would you say to an alliance? We were with him, but we couldn't protect him. I'm sorry.
11:01The man I fought beside was not so ruled by anger and malice! Count Luis gave us a dream to
11:07fight for.
11:08Silent Hill 2
11:25Bloober Team truly knocked it out of the park with 2024's Silent Hill 2 remake. It's honestly sort of
11:31a miracle just how good this remake is. It achieved the impossible by being distinct enough from the
11:36OG game where both can actually stand proudly side by side as two of the best horror games of all
11:41time.
11:42Now, if for some reason you aren't familiar with Silent Hill 2, you play as James Sunderland,
11:47a broken man who heads to the eponymous town in order to find his wife, Mary. Of course, saying anything
11:52more would be a disservice to anyone who hasn't experienced the 2001 original or this fantastic
11:582024 remake. Bloober Team managed to keep the eerie, foreboding, and ominous mood of the original,
12:03but infused just enough modernity to cast it alongside the likes of the Dead Space remake and
12:08the Resident Evil 4 remake. Yes, it's really that good. Everything from the setting to the psychological
12:13horror, to the character writing, to the voice acting, to the combat, to the puzzles, to even the
12:18exploration, is handled with beautiful care, craft, and aplomb. I don't need you anymore.
12:38Astro Bot
12:52Long live the reign of 3D platformers. Team Asobi didn't hold back any punches when it came to
12:57crafting one of the very best 3D platformers of all time. Taking everything that worked well in
13:02previous Astro Bot games, then ratcheting it all up to 100, 2024's Astro Bot is a pure love letter to
13:09both
13:09the genre as a whole and to all things Sony PlayStation. This is just one of those games that
13:14keeps you smiling the whole way through. Tackling the creative and inventive platforming stages,
13:19hoovering up the bevy of fun collectibles, and taking on the larger than life bosses is always
13:23thrilling here. Astro Bot is just overflowing with joy, style, and confidence, and it's felt
13:29all throughout the entirety of the game, never letting up on pure platforming fun. Seriously,
13:33don't miss this game. It's an all around outstanding experience.
13:50Marvel's Spider-Man 2
13:57Elegantly swinging from success to success, Insomniac's Spider-Man games just keep on getting
14:02better with each new release. Taking everything that made the original 2018 game and Miles Morales
14:08so special, namely, terrific storytelling, in-depth character arcs, and pure fun escapism.
14:13Story-wise, we get to see Peter Parker and Miles Morales sharing the screen as they seek to stop
14:18the relentless Craven the Hunter as he and his goons stalk New York City. Adding to that is the
14:24Venom symbiote and the narrative arc of Harry Osborn.
14:26This is my best friend Harry. Hey, good to meet you.
14:31The intertwining relationships makes for a captivating experience all throughout the game's runtime.
14:36Plus, Spider-Man 2 might just be the most fun platinum trophy to work towards and obtain.
14:41I didn't know there were bears in these woods.
14:45Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
14:50Well now, I think we woke it up.
14:53For many Final Fantasy fans, the thought of topping the greatness of Final Fantasy VII Remake
14:58seemed almost impossible. Then, Rebirth came along and upped the ante even more,
15:03making it one of the best in the entirety of the series' history. As you might imagine, Rebirth picks
15:08up where Remake left off, with Cloud and company exploring the planet as they seek to stop Shinra's
15:13continued exploitation while working to stop Sephiroth for good. Well, hopefully.
15:18Sephiroth was in Midgar. We fought him. Whatever happened, he's alive.
15:24But why come back now?
15:26While open-world games might seem a dime a dozen, Rebirth instead focused on highly
15:30explorable open zones where you are drawn to every nook and cranny organically. And when you do get into
15:36the throes of combat, you are greeted to some high-octane, in-your-face action-packed battles,
15:41where elements of strategy and tactics can still come into play. Rebirth knows how to keep you hooked
15:47moment after moment. If for some reason you have already fully wrapped up Remake and Rebirth,
15:52then it's also worth checking out Final Fantasy XVI since that's a highly commendable entry as well.
15:57To hell we're talking. If they won't give us a say, we'll decide our fates another way.
16:03Baldur's Gate III
16:04And I'm here to save you again.
16:09What can be said about Baldur's Gate III that hasn't already been summed up before? This titanic,
16:14nuanced, and thought-provoking, player-agency-driven RPG might just be the pinnacle of gameplay variety
16:20and storytelling prowess from Larian Studios, who definitely know a thing or two about crafting
16:25in-depth gaming experiences. One of the central reasons this game has truly become one of the
16:30best on PS5 is because it allows you to play and interact with its world and characters in every
16:36conceivable way. If you can think of a way forward, no matter how bonkers, the game likely lets you do
16:42just that. This nature stems from the game's thoroughly incorporated Dungeons & Dragons elements,
16:47from non-linear story beats, central characters possibly being killed off,
16:51the ubiquity of dice rolls, and other things that are like that basically.
16:56Baldur's Gate III really allows you to create and shape your own story with your very own avatar,
17:00and for these reasons alone deserves to be lauded.
17:03The world and its denizens will react in kind, shaped by each and every decision.
17:11You brought us this far, so how shall we proceed?
17:15Hogwarts Legacy
17:16I have a rare ability to see whispers of ancient magic.
17:21Extraordinary.
17:23The sheer idea of existing in a fully realized Harry Potter universe
17:27truly felt like a pipe dream for most fans, that is, until Hogwarts Legacy released.
17:32The attention to detail that went into creating Hogwarts Castle,
17:36Hogsmeade, and the surrounding world captivated budding witch and wizard students immediately,
17:40with those feelings persisting all throughout this media experience.
17:44Creating your very own witch or wizard and guiding them through the perils of being a new
17:48fifth-year student at the renowned Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is simply sublime.
17:53From the intricacies of the game's quests to the meticulously designed nature of the world,
17:58Hogwarts Legacy is the epitome of magical greatness.
18:01And that's not even mentioning the frenetic spell-based combat, flying around the open world
18:05on your broom, exploring locales from the Harry Potter series, and managing your very own room of
18:11requirement. Simply put, Hogwarts Legacy is a must-play game on PS5.
18:15We leave our legacy in your hands.
18:22Elden Ring
18:31If you take the punishing brutality of the Soulsborne formula and throw them into a bubbling cauldron
18:37with an expansive open world, plenty of player agency, near endless hidden areas, and a bevy of unique
18:43weapons, well, you of course get the behemoth that is Elden Ring. Where many other Soulsborne games
18:48push you in a semi-linear fashion, Elden Ring instead lets you take a new direction, venture off
18:54elsewhere to just try and forge ahead. It's exactly this type of player freedom that gives Elden Ring
18:59its endless sense of playability, even with its steep difficulty. The fact that From Software took this
19:04duality and made it work seamlessly in a lovingly crafted open world is downright commendable. Add in a
19:10nuanced and thought-provoking environmental story and world partly created by George R. R. Martin,
19:15and you get a game that is ready to pull you in and not let you go anytime soon.
19:27Helldivers 2
19:28In this time of need, Super Earth once again calls upon her mightiest, bravest, most obedient heroes,
19:36the Helldivers.
19:38Helldivers 2 truly came out of nowhere and has achieved incredible success. It's really no surprise,
19:44seeing as developers Arrowhead Game Studios have managed to nail the very often despised live
19:49service formula. It's a deeply fun and engaging solo or co-op sci-fi shooter with intense battles,
19:55tongue-in-cheek humor, oodles upon oodles of content, and so much more. If fun factor alone
20:00was the only parameter for a game's success, then Helldivers 2 would definitely take the cake here.
20:06The sense of joy that comes from teaming up with some buddies, or heck, even some strangers online,
20:10is palpable to say the least. Sure, they might grieve you with an uber powerful weapon or a stratagem,
20:16but it will at least provide a good laugh or two as you get ready to hop back into the
20:20bug-slash-alien-shooting goodness.
20:29Alan Wake 2
20:35Now, it would be easy to quantify Alan Wake 2 as just another third-person survival horror game.
20:43However, to do so would be a great disservice to the experience.
20:47Per Remedy's pedigree, Alan Wake 2 is a surreal nightmare. The juxtaposition of film-like live
20:53action scenes and gameplay is something that Remedy consistently engages with.
20:57Alan Wake, one of my all-time favorite writers and guests on the show. He's here to talk about his
21:03latest book.
21:04In the case of Alan Wake 2, these blended elements ensure the horror-thriller experience as a whole
21:09is more than the sum of its parts, ensuring it appeals to fans of the first game as well as
21:14fresh
21:14faces to the series. This game thrusts you into the shoes of both Alan Wake and newcomer Saga Anderson.
21:20Both characters lend themselves well to their respective parts of the game, namely the dark place,
21:25in Alan's case, and the quote-unquote real world of sagas. The tug and war of both characters is
21:31experienced as they go through this nightmare unfolding in front of them is captivating and thrilling,
21:36and will ensure you are on the edge of your seat throughout the entirety of this unique horror game.
21:41Did you write these pages, Mr. Wade?
21:43I'm trying to remember it.
21:46You're the killer. The cult bleeding.
21:49No! You got the wrong man!
21:52Cyberpunk 2077
21:54You believe you cheated death. It is death that has cheated you.
22:00Okay, at this point it's no surprise to say that Cyberpunk 2077 launched in a disastrous state,
22:05but thanks to a crazy amount of elbow grease, the game has finally lived up to the promised hype.
22:11Taking place in Night City, Cyberpunk 2077 offers up a power fantasy unlike anything else,
22:16with all of the gritty, grimy goodness you would expect from a seedy world such as this.
22:21First and foremost, this is an action RPG, one that allows you to craft your own cybernetically
22:26enhanced avatar to take on the goons and baddies of Night City. Around every corner of this world,
22:32there's something to do and interact with, most of which pushes the narrative along nicely,
22:36keeping you immersed throughout. Add to that the ever-present Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand,
22:40and the fantastic Phantom Liberty content, and you have a robust package that has earned your time and attention.
22:46So go out and play.
22:50Just don't get played.
22:53Resident Evil 4 Remake
23:02So how do you follow up one of the greatest survival horror games ever made, especially as a remake?
23:08Well, Resident Evil 4 Remake did just that. The 2005 original is still lauded to this day,
23:13and it's just as playable as it was all those years ago. Instead of just throwing a new coat of
23:18paint on
23:19the game yet again and calling it a day, Capcom truly went above and beyond to tell Leon Kennedy's horrific,
23:24Nightmare's story in dramatic and awe-inspiring fashion. Side by side, both the original and the
23:302023 Remake follow most of the same story beats, but there are plenty of surprises and new additions
23:36thrown in to make this game feel brand new. Gameplay-wise, the RE4 Remake knocked it out of the park,
23:45offering intense and brutal third-person action combat alongside more robust and rewarding exploration.
23:51From the weighty, hefty feel of combat, to the terrifying art direction, to the memorable
23:56characters and villains, heck, to the weapon upgrades, there's just so much to this remake that
24:00consistently impresses. Stellar Blade
24:20Part character action game, part souls-like, Stellar Blade, if you'll excuse the obvious, is, well,
24:26stellar. It's one of those games that aims to sink its hooks into you right from the get-go without
24:31ever letting go. Now, most of this comes down to the game's over-the-top kinetic action combat,
24:36but it also comes from the narrative. Earth has been ravaged and humans are being eradicated,
24:41so it's up to Eve and her pals to take back what is rightfully theirs, while ensuring the remaining
24:46populace and cities don't fall to ruin, or at least more so. Characters just pop off the screen,
24:51the apocalyptic world is haunting yet beautiful. The combat is tough, visceral, and frenetic,
24:56but always fair, and the game's action tendencies ensure there's always something to look forward
25:00to while playing. Simply put, we need more single-player focused games like this one,
25:05so it's truly delightful to see Stellar Blade gaining traction and praise.
25:09Her mission is to save the planet by defeating the Elder Nativa.
25:16All we must do is complete the mission.
25:19Death Stranding Director's Cut
25:22I'm on the beach, Sam. Our beach. The one where I was born. Come and find me.
25:31If you want to discuss games that are polarizing, then, well, look no further than Death Stranding.
25:36This should likely come as no real surprise, given that it's brought to us by Hideo Kojima.
25:41There's really no getting past just how out there Death Stranding really is. Some have called it a
25:46walking simulator, others have called it an action adventure, and still others have called it a
25:51survival horror game of sorts, given the narrative's dark tone in many areas. Heck, you could even call
25:56it a Norman Reedus simulator. To an extent, it's actually all of these things, and then some.
26:01It's a game about connections, both physical and relational. You see, the United States fell to a
26:06widespread calamity, and it's up to Sam Porter Bridges to repair and reconnect, along with those he meets.
26:12The game has you spend countless hours simply walking, exploring, traversing, and carrying your
26:17goods from point A to point B, and well, you know, sometimes to point Z. Sure, there's some combat and
26:23some scares from time to time, but really, this is a game about connecting others by any means necessary,
26:29in order to rebuild, all while hideous monstrous beings hope for your downfall.
26:36Did I ever tell you my real name? I wanted to.
26:41The Last of Us Part 1
26:43The Last of Us Part 1, yes, the remade version of the original 2013 PS3 game, is pure gaming
27:01excellence, from both the perspective of gameplay and narrative. For the uninitiated, The Last of Us
27:07tells the harrowing and somber story of Joel and Ellie, as they work their way through a ravaged,
27:13post-apocalyptic America. Contending with the infamous clickers, monstrosities corrupted by the
27:19Cordyceps fungus, and their counterparts, means you are in for strong elements of survival horror,
27:24crafting, tense battles, stealth, exploration, plus so much more.
27:30You picked a hell of a place to hold up, didn't you?
27:33You know, as bad as those things are, at least they're predictable.
27:37The normal people that scare me.
27:40Ghosts of Tsushima
27:50While open world games might seem a dime a dozen nowadays, Ghosts of Tsushima came along to
27:56completely refresh what it means to explore a gaming playground. Players stepped into the role of
28:02Jin Sakai, as he adventures across the expansive island of Tsushima. Instead of just pointing you
28:07where to go next, the game utilizes a wind mechanic that gently nudges you in the right direction.
28:13But let's be honest, most of us were too enraptured from exploring off the beaten path,
28:18taking out enemies via the intense combat made up of various stances and sword maneuvers.
28:25The role of a samurai taking on the Mongols in a lush Japanese setting isn't an easy task,
28:30so it's fortunate that this game keeps you immersed around every sun-soaked corner with stellar
28:35gameplay loops and progression.
28:44Horizon Forbidden West
28:46Well, it doesn't look like there's an easy way out of here.
28:55The follow up to the beloved Zero Dawn, Forbidden West sees protagonist Aloy venture across a post-apocalyptic
29:02western United States where nature has reclaimed its territory. The star of the show here, apart from
29:08the fantastic locations, is of course the evolution of the machine animals that Aloy encounters during
29:15her journey across the lands. Playing this game on PS5 is a real visual and auditory treat, one where you
29:22will stop plenty of times to take in the gorgeous yet ravaged vistas, perhaps even taking a screenshot or two.
29:28Plus, Forbidden West ups the gameplay ante with enhanced combat and traversal, amongst the other enjoyable
29:34action RPG elements.
29:42Gran Turismo 7
29:51It's pretty darn remarkable to think that the pinnacle racing sim series has been going strong
29:57since its inception way back in 1997 on the PlayStation 1. Fortunately, fans of this long-running racing
30:04series can once again get their gearhead fix with Gran Turismo 7. While the game was understandably met with
30:12some division due to some progression and monetization issues, developer Polyphony Digital still managed
30:19to create a pure sim experience for those up to the challenge. Gran Turismo 7 features a robust suite of
30:26gameplay modes, including the fan favorite GT Simulation Mode. From a host of real-world vehicles and
30:32locales, racing sim players have so much to enjoy with this game. Plus, it can now be played in VR
30:38with
30:38PSVR 2 for added immersion.
30:47God of War Ragnarok
30:56While the long-winded Atreus section in Ragnarok might not be everyone's cup of tea, there's no doubt
31:03about it that the latest installment in Kratos' more mature journey is downright stunning. The visceral
31:09leviathan acts in Blades of Chaos combat returns, and feels better than ever. There's just this
31:15perfect weightiness and punch to pummeling foes in this game that really can't be matched in the action
31:21adventure genre. Once again, players adventure with Kratos and Atreus, this time on the eve of Fimblewinter.
31:28The amount of care and craft that went into each facet of this game is palpable. Whether you are
31:33exploring Sindri's charmingly ethereal treehouse, or the epic grand scale of Vanaheim.
31:47Astro's Playroom
31:56For pure distilled 3D platforming goodness on the PS5, look no further than Astro's Playroom. The pack in
32:04game experience that perfectly encapsulates the DualSense's capabilities and the console's raw power
32:10and fidelity. The sheer playfulness and whimsy, as well as the love letter to all things PlayStation of
32:17Astro's Playroom is unmatched on the system. If for some reason you missed out on this experience,
32:23first off, what are you even doing? Second, you need to remedy that right now. Taking place across
32:29a charming, colorful, and eclectic mix of worlds and stages, Astro seamlessly jumps,
32:35bounds, and glides across the world, often times hopping into a mech of sorts to swap up the gameplay on
32:40the fly. The tactile feel from the DualSense as Astro moves about each surface is utter amazement
32:47in gaming form.
32:56Returnal
33:03If you want to see a game that showcases why the PS5 is such a powerful console, then look no
33:09further
33:09than Returnal. Sci-fi psychological horror meets third-person shooter meets roguelike in this master
33:16class of a game. The sheer freneticism as protagonist Selene ventures forth into the darkness with the
33:23repeating cycle makes for a gameplay experience unlike anything else. However, be ready for a
33:28steady and mounting challenge. The alien landscape that has been crafted for Returnal feels and looks
33:34like the thing of nightmares. As Selene, you will blast away horrific monsters with a wide selection of
33:40weaponry and upgrades. Seeing the neon-drenched glow of enemy attacks as you dodge and weave through the
33:45zones is truly incredible to behold.
33:56Demon's Souls
34:06Remaster and Remake Development House Blue Point games set the par really high with the Demon's Souls
34:12release on PS5 as a pinnacle launch title. Excelling in every conceivable area from the original PS3 game,
34:20Demon's Souls on PS5 offers Soulborn fans everything they could hope for and then some.
34:25The sheer artistry on display when playing through this game is mesmerizing and intoxicating in equal
34:30measures. Yes, the brutal challenge and steep difficulty is there around every gothic macabre corner,
34:37but pushing through each new area rewards you with a stunning vista, new gear and loots,
34:42or a hard as nails boss to gawk at. If you're up for it, it doesn't get much better than
34:47this.
34:56Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart
35:07The Ratchet and Clank series has been going strong through every generation and evolution of PlayStation.
35:13Rift Apart is the culmination of the developer's work as this title offers up adrenaline pumping
35:18gameplay, dazzling set piece moments, a quirky and epic story, plus so much more. The first time you see
35:25the raw power of the PS5 being used during the Rift tethering sections is simply amazing. And it's not
35:32just a gimmick since it's woven into the very fabric of the narrative. The series is kinetic
35:37gunplay, melee combat, and traversal options are better than ever here, and it's always a blast to
35:42see and try out the creative weapons on offer as you work to level each of them up.
