00:00I have this dance. Try to keep up.
00:02Welcome to Mojo Plays, and today we're taking a look at the 10 hardest unlockables across games based on DC
00:10Comics.
00:11Let's see what was so important.
00:13Before we begin, we publish new videos all week long, so be sure to subscribe to Mojo Plays and ring
00:19the bell to be notified about our latest videos.
00:22The Dark Knight, Batman Arkham Origins.
00:33Of the Arkham games, Origins is perhaps the easiest game in the series, as boss fights are mostly combat tutorials.
00:41Stealth and crime investigation are a walk in the park, too.
00:44What isn't a walk in the park is getting the Dark Knight suit.
00:48To earn this suit, you will have to complete every single Dark Knight challenge.
00:52You know, the AR missions that have you gliding through rings like it's Superman 64.
00:57Be prepared for frustration, though, as you will have to pull some absurd maneuvers to pass through some of the
01:03more intricately placed rings.
01:06Honestly, this suit is just a simple cosmetic, so you can just play the game and skip this entire process.
01:12It's not worth it, dude.
01:24We know it seems a tad odd to put a LEGO game on a list like this.
01:28These are games meant for kids, and they aren't anywhere close to the level of challenge us older players are
01:34typically used to.
01:35But Batmite is kind of a nuisance and a half.
01:38For starters, the game gives you no clear indication of Batmite even having missions to do.
01:44He isn't marked on the map, and he does not have a sign above his head to say,
01:48Yoo-hoo, over here!
01:50But to play as him, you will have to not only find him, but complete every single one of his
01:55missions on every single planet.
01:58Best keep a guide close by in case finding him becomes annoying.
02:01The Premier Skins, Injustice 2
02:09One of the coolest aspects of Injustice 2 is how there are some extra characters hidden from the base roster.
02:17These characters are known as Premier Skins, and they turn certain fighters into completely different ones.
02:23For example, you can turn Captain Cold into Mr. Freeze, Raiden into Black Lightning, and Supergirl into Power Girl.
02:31But here's the catch.
02:32These Premier Skins are locked away behind the magical RNG crates we call Loot Boxes.
02:39So, who knows if you'll manage to get one for free, or if you'll have to fork over an undetermined
02:44amount of cash to get one.
02:46Or just spend the premium currency and get them immediately.
02:50No matter which way you go about it, it's lame.
02:53Kandor Superman, Justice League Heroes.
03:04You can easily unlock a bunch of stuff just by entering cheat codes, but that's if you're playing the console
03:10version of Justice League Heroes.
03:12PSP players had to unlock goodies the natural way, and it was honestly a real pain in the tights.
03:19Costumes were locked behind the number of shields you've obtained, which were earned by saving civilians.
03:24So, if you were wanting to get Kandor Superman, you would have to save up a whopping 91 shields.
03:32We wouldn't make such a fuss over this if civilians didn't drop just one measly shield per rescue.
03:50So, here's the weird thing about Young Justice Legacy.
03:57This game is boring, for the most part.
04:00Like, there are long stretches where this game is a complete snoozefest.
04:04Then, out of nowhere, it suddenly wants to get super difficult, whether it's a boss fight or some special requirement.
04:11Well, in order to unlock Rocket, you're gonna have to beat this entire game on hard.
04:16You can get whatever grade you get so long as you beat the game.
04:19And even then, Legacy is still inconsistent on the difficulty spikes.
04:25The Best Ending.
04:27Batman Returns.
04:35In terms of conventional unlockables, Batman Returns doesn't have anything like additional playable characters or hidden minigames.
04:42At least, the NES version doesn't.
04:44No, the NES version has something far more special in the form of different endings.
04:50These endings, though, are not based on what you do, but what happens to you.
04:55See, this iteration has a hidden point counter that goes up every time you take damage from specific enemies and
05:02bosses.
05:03Dying, especially, racks up a ton of points.
05:06But to get the best ending possible, you cannot rack up more than 5,376 points, which equates to dying
05:15about five times.
05:16Best keep tabs on how often you're getting hit.
05:27A for effort, F for results.
05:30In all honesty, Teen Titans isn't too difficult of a game overall.
05:34It has its moments, yet you can still beat it in a fair amount of time.
05:38Although, the same cannot be said when playing on Titan difficulty.
05:43Things ramp up substantially as you take more damage and enemies attack faster.
05:49If you're wanting a full completion percentage, you'll have to nab all 150 Titan cards before the end of the
05:55game under this difficulty.
05:58What do you get for all this effort?
06:00Well, you get another Titan card in the form of Larry the Titan.
06:05Great.
06:06Yeah, real slap in the face right there.
06:08Man, cut the intros and just bring it!
06:11Yeah, dude! We got game!
06:13Black Manta and Tempest.
06:15Aquaman Battle for Atlantis.
06:26Okay, first off, why are you playing Aquaman Battle for Atlantis?
06:30Why would anybody waste their time mashing the same button and wandering around empty environments?
06:37Are you that big of an Aquaman fan?
06:39Mashing X to doubt right now.
06:41But whatever, if you absolutely want something to work towards, here's a test in patience and mental fortitude.
06:47Try to get through the entire game to unlock classic Aquaman.
06:51Then, beat the entire game as classic Aquaman.
06:55Do this and somehow survive, and you'll get to play as Black Manta and Tempest.
07:00And no, neither of them make the game any more fun.
07:04Remember, this is Aquaman Battle for Atlantis.
07:07Fun is dead here!
07:15Elseworlds Flash
07:16Injustice Gods Among Us
07:21Catch me if you can!
07:23Unlike its sequel, Injustice Gods Among Us does not require you to fork over extra cash to get the cosmetics
07:29you want.
07:30Unfortunately, Flash fans might have wept when they learned about Elseworlds Flash.
07:35As a cosmetic, it's alright, but man, the effort is not worth it.
07:40For some reason, NetherRealm Studios decided to lock this particular costume behind the stars missions,
07:46which have different requirements for obtaining three stars across every single mission.
07:51And you are going to have to earn all three stars on every single mission just to get this one
07:58skin.
07:58A skin that has absolutely nothing remarkable going on for itself.
08:03So, what reason do you really need to have this, huh?
08:07Bragging rights?
08:08Come on, man.
08:16Batman Arkham Knight
08:17There's some kind of fight going on!
08:24Out of all of the rewards you can get in any of the DC Comics video games,
08:29This one is certainly asking way, way too much from players.
08:35Batsuit V8.05 is locked behind a 240% completion rating,
08:40which sounds like an impossible task until you break down what exactly the game wants from you.
08:45Step 1 is beating Arkham Knight with a 100% completion.
08:49Step 2 is beating the game a second time under New Game Plus,
08:54while, yes, achieving 100% completion again.
08:57And to cap it all off,
09:00you have to play through the Season of Infamy DLC,
09:03and, a third time, achieve 100% completion for that.
09:08All of that for a dumb Batsuit that looks no different than any other Batsuit you've seen,
09:13and offers no functionality of any kind to make it worthwhile.
09:17Hope you love Arkham Knight that much.
09:20You're going to be here for a while.
