00:00Extreme storm chaser Aaron Jajak. He joins us from Minneapolis. He says he doesn't mind chasing the
00:05cold and the snow, but he'd rather be skiing. Yeah, that's right. So it is frigid here. I
00:12mentioned earlier it was like one degree Fahrenheit. Well, it's still about one degree
00:15Fahrenheit after checking the AccuWeather app coming down here and you can see my breath.
00:19It's very cold down here and just 24 hours ago we had that blizzard move through. I was kind of
00:25coming to an end around 24 hours ago here in Minneapolis and the sun came out, blue beautiful
00:30sky yesterday, but then that started causing everything to melt. It got real slushy and
00:34sloppy here around Minneapolis yesterday and then of course overnight as that sun went down everything
00:38froze up solid. So very icy on the roadways, very icy on the parking lots and sidewalks and stuff.
00:45So I still want to be careful out there and you can see it looks like it's going to be
00:48a beautiful
00:48day here and it is quite beautiful despite how cold it is with the blue sky, but if you turn
00:52your
00:52attention back to the west here you can see there is some clouds that are moving into the area and
00:58that is associated with this quick hitting clipper system that's coming out of the Dakotas, out of
01:02the Canadian prairie, moving the way its way here today and it'll probably bring another one to two
01:06inches or so starting late this afternoon into the evening hours here across this region. Back to you
01:11guys. All right. From storm chasing to a blizzard, welcome to March and Aaron go get yourself some
01:19hot chocolate, hot coffee or something. It's cold. It is.
