00:00We've had some tenacious cold and frequent snow for many in the north central and the mid-Atlantic states into the northeast as well, but not everybody's gotten in on it.
00:09We have some widespread snow cover. As of 1 a.m. this Tuesday morning, about a third of the contiguous 48 states were covered in snow, but there is a lack between areas like Philadelphia and Boston, right along I-95 to the coast there.
00:24We have not really seen much of any significant snow there yet. We're still waiting for it. We've had a slow start in Denver, but we have had a few inches of snow there, several inches at the airport at least.
00:34So some have seen a huge surplus. Look at South Bend, Indiana. Typically by now, we'd have about 7.9 inches on the road to 64.5 for the whole season.
00:43We're already at half of our annual average snowfall, way ahead of normal, about two feet above average. Pretty impressive.
00:51Chicago, typically you've had about 3.7 inches by now. We've already had 17 inches in Chicago.
00:57Richmond, Virginia, we've had 20 times the typical amount of snow for this early in the season.
01:02Typically we'd be at 0.3 inches, at least that's the historical average for this early in the season.
01:07We're at six inches of snow. We've had a couple of decent rounds of snow Friday and again on Monday.
01:13And down the road in places like Newport News, 6.9 inches were reported just on Monday alone.
01:19Now, on the other hand, typically by now we'd have about 2.5 inches in Boston, just a trace so far.
01:25Nothing measurable yet. Typically by now we'd have 1.4 inches in New York there, also just a trace.
01:31Now, it's very early. The average amount by now, very slim on the road to between 2.5 and 4 plus feet in those cities.
01:40So we've got plenty of snow ahead of us. It is early, but there is a snowy pattern continuing for the Midwest,
01:46the Great Lakes area, and much of the Northeast here through this week, even into the weekend.
01:50And there's potential for some snow for some of those I-95 cities.
01:54It may not be much, but there's potential for some later this weekend.
01:57Now,
02:10how about now,
02:10how about now,
02:11how about now,
02:15how about now,
02:16how about you're damaged.
