00:23I'm Craig DeGrowley.
00:25In today's Media Miss Minute, we're looking at two stories that received little attention
00:29from partisan media outlets, starting with what the right is ignoring.
00:34A whistleblower from the Department of Government Deficiency
00:37says a former employee used Doge software to copy Americans' personal data.
00:42The whistleblower says the employee copied information from two Social Security Administration databases,
00:49which contain records of more than 500 million living and dead Americans, onto a thumb drive.
00:54He also reportedly told colleagues he planned to share the data with his new private employer.
01:00Now to what the left is overlooking.
01:03CNN anchor Abby Phillip has apologized for how she described an ISIS-inspired bomb attack in New York City
01:10during protests last weekend.
01:12Phillip said on air Saturday that it was, quote,
01:15an attempted terror attack against New York Mayor Zoran Mamdani.
01:19Explosives were thrown outside Mamdani's residence, but he was not there at the time.
01:24In a social media post, Phillip later said, quote,
01:27the bombs thrown in New York City over the weekend by ISIS-inspired attackers
01:32were thrown into a crowd of anti-Muslim protesters and not specifically targeted at Mayor Mamdani.
01:39He also apologized for the air.
