00:25Doge is pushing back hard after a Reuters report claimed the controversial agency was disbanded.
00:31In a social media post, Doge called the report fake news, saying just last week it terminated 78 wasteful contracts and saved taxpayers $335 million.
00:43But the head of the Office of Personnel Management, Scott Cooper, added some nuance, saying Doge is no longer operating as a centralized agency.
00:52Now to a story being missed by right-leaning outlets.
00:56Cash Patel's gifts in New Zealand did not go over as planned.
01:00During a recent visit, Patel gave five government officials 3D-printed revolvers, modeled after Nerf toys.
01:07But under New Zealand's strict gun laws, even 3D-printed models are treated like real firearms.
01:14So all five gifts had to be surrendered and destroyed.
