00:00Today on Media Missed Minute, the Department of Justice quietly deletes its own study showing which side is more likely to commit political violence.
00:09And Republicans are planning a new convention ahead of the 2026 midterms.
00:16I'm Craig DeGrelli. In today's Media Missed Minute, we're looking at two stories largely ignored by partisan media outlets, one on the left and one on the right.
00:25First, a story missed by the right. The Trump administration's own Justice Department has removed a study from its website.
00:34That report found far-right extremists were responsible for more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or Islamist extremists.
00:44The study was polled as Republicans, including President Trump, continue to blame the left for political violence following the assassination of Charlie Kirk.
00:53Now to a story being missed by the left-leaning media.
00:57The GOP is moving forward with a midterm convention to showcase its momentum heading into 2026.
01:04Trump teased the idea of holding a convention weeks ago.
01:08He made it official Tuesday on Truth Social, saying the event will highlight GOP successes since the 2024 election.
01:16Democrats are said to be considering a similar move.
