00:20I'm Craig DeGrelli.
00:21In today's Media Miss Minute, we're looking at two stories getting little attention from partisan outlets,
00:27starting with what the right is missing.
00:29The father of a U.S. service member killed in the Iran war
00:32is directly disputing a claim from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
00:36After a private meeting with families of six service members who died when a refueling plane crashed in Iraq,
00:43Hegseth said they told him to, quote, finish the job.
00:47Charles Simmons, whose 28-year-old son, Tech Sergeant Tyler Simmons, was among those killed,
00:53says he never said that and didn't hear anyone else say it either.
00:57Now to what the left is missing.
00:59The State Department has issued a worldwide security alert for Americans abroad,
01:03with a focus on the Middle East.
01:05Officials are urging travelers to use extra caution
01:08and follow guidance from the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
01:12The alert follows attacks on several U.S. diplomatic facilities in recent weeks,
01:17including some outside the Middle East.
