00:00On today's show, my dad has a problem because I'm gay, I'm a cross-dresser, he has always pushed me
00:07out.
00:09You call him a sexist pig? I think that he is sometimes.
00:12He doesn't think you're a drag queen, do you want him to be honest? He thinks you're a drama queen,
00:16that's what he thinks.
00:17Well, he's a two-faced man, to be quite honest.
00:22You know what he said to me this morning? He said, I'm ashamed of my dad.
00:24I'm ashamed of my dad, I'm also ashamed of myself, let alone.
00:27Why are you ashamed of yourself?
00:30He's never been turned away from myself.
00:33Girl, do you know what, do I have to do everything every day?
00:36Sam, come here, I'm not wandering around, come here.
00:38Leave me alone.
00:43The reasons that you doubt Daryl are what?
00:46I've been told his father did another child.
00:51What did you find in the bedroom?
00:53An unused condom, but it was well hidden.
00:57Oh, God.
00:59We had the hat before.
01:03What did you tell my researcher when you came out of the test that cost me money today?
01:06What did you say?
01:07I said, just had enough.
01:08No, you didn't.
01:09You said, I think I might have messed that test up.
01:10Why did you say that?
01:11Yeah, just because my heart was beating, because I was really nervous.
01:13Not really the reason why, though, is it?
01:18I think I might have messed that test up.
01:23Well, thank you.
01:36Thank you, my friends. Good morning, and as ever a big, big welcome to the show.
01:40Now, my first guest today, Sam, is here to confront his father, David,
01:43whom Sam claims has disowned him because he is gay.
01:48Now, Sam says that his father was never there for him when he was growing up,
01:51and he doesn't like the fact that Sam is a cross-dresser and a drag queen.
01:55Today, Sam says he wants to know why he's been pushed out.
01:59He wants to build a relationship with this strange father.
02:02He says, this took an awful lot of guts.
02:04This is me, this is my life, and if my dad cannot accept it,
02:09then he's no father of mine.
02:10Sam is first on The Jeremy Kyle Show, that way.
02:20How are you? You all right?
02:26Nervous?
02:27No, more disappointed and ashamed of what's happened.
02:31Let me tell you something that I thought this morning.
02:34Right?
02:36Nobody, if they're not breaking the law or hurting somebody,
02:40should be ashamed of who they are or what they are.
02:42And if we have to apologise, then the world's pretty warped.
02:46So fair play to you for coming out here and being who you are
02:49and doing what you want to do.
02:51That's the most important thing, and I mean that.
02:58David's your dad.
03:00Two brothers.
03:01A stepmother who's here as well.
03:03You say, my dad has a problem because I'm gay.
03:07I'm a cross-dresser.
03:09He has always pushed me out.
03:10Now, let's go back, if we can, and talk about your childhood.
03:16I was put in care from a really young age.
03:20Did you see your dad?
03:21Yeah, now and again, obviously, like, there was things put in place
03:24so we could only see him.
03:25Truth is that you were actually in care for most of your childhood.
03:29Yeah.
03:29And your relationship with him, we can only talk about him
03:31because he's the only one here, was never great, was fractured.
03:36Yes, 100% so.
03:38Did you reach out to him?
03:39Did he visit you?
03:40Did he ring you?
03:41What happened?
03:43No, I don't really know.
03:44Like, I felt I would have to ring him, like, quite a lot.
03:48Obviously, like I said, those things put in place
03:50because, obviously, of what happened or whatever,
03:53so we didn't get to see him as much as I wanted to see him.
03:55I read something this morning that you said
03:56that I think a lot of people who, you know,
03:59grow up thinking we're different would understand and relate to.
04:02You said, I always knew I was gay.
04:05Yeah.
04:06But I tried really hard to please everybody
04:09by sort of fitting into that stereotype.
04:13Yes.
04:13And that made you miserable?
04:15Yeah, yeah, really.
04:16Did you get bullied?
04:17Yeah, a lot.
04:18Why?
04:19Just because I'm different to...
04:21Well, I wouldn't say I was different,
04:22but, obviously, in society, I'm different to everyone else.
04:25Does that ever make you think,
04:27I don't want to be what I really am?
04:29We talk about doing what everybody else wants.
04:33Did you ever think, you know what,
04:35I'm going to carry on doing what everybody wants
04:37because I get so much grief?
04:39Or did it make you think, you know what,
04:41Sodom, I'm going to do what I want?
04:42Not really.
04:43I tried to hide it for ages.
04:45Like, when I lived with my...
04:46I was living with my dad for a part.
04:47Some of the time, I would wear track suits,
04:50I would wear hoodies to fit in with, like, that family unit
04:54because everyone else was dressed in that way
04:56or my brothers were dressed in that way.
04:58So I thought, well, I don't...
04:59And to also make them feel more happy with me,
05:02obviously, because I feel like they're ashamed of who I am.
05:04They're not happy with me being who I am.
05:06Do you remember the first time
05:08the conversation happened between you and your dad?
05:11Do you remember telling him,
05:12sitting him down and saying, I'm gay?
05:15I don't think I ever told him, to be honest.
05:17I think it just...
05:18It was obvious.
05:19Do you know what I mean?
05:19I think he...
05:20I think he knew.
05:21It wasn't that I ever told him.
05:23He must have missed important times in your life as well.
05:25Oh, God, yeah, definitely.
05:26He missed my wedding.
05:27He missed the day that I got married because he's...
05:31Where was he?
05:32I have no idea.
05:32He's both...
05:33He told your lot that, I suppose, I...
05:36My lot?
05:36Well, the crew.
05:38Oh, yeah.
05:38You're a lot, you are.
05:39Sorry, the crew.
05:40Oh, you lot.
05:40Sorry, go ahead.
05:41Sorry, the crew.
05:42And he said that he never got an invitation.
05:44I rang him and said that,
05:45unfortunately, I don't have the invitations,
05:46but these are the dates.
05:48I told your dad to my team, the crew, the lot,
05:50you called him a sexist pig.
05:52I think that he is sometimes.
05:54I think that he is.
05:55Have you ever said that to his face?
05:57No.
05:57Because what's really interesting about this guy
06:00is from the very first moment we got in contact with him,
06:03he says, and I'm going to be totally honest with you, right?
06:07He says, I am appalled that he would think
06:11that I have a problem.
06:12I don't care whether my son lives as a man or a woman,
06:16a drag queen.
06:17He doesn't care.
06:18He's appalled by the fact that you say that
06:21when that's not what he feels.
06:23And he thinks, right, this is all about attention.
06:27He doesn't think you're a drag queen.
06:29Do you want him to be honest?
06:30He thinks you're a drama queen.
06:31That's what he thinks.
06:32He's, well, he's a two-faced man, to be quite honest.
06:36Why do you respond like that?
06:38Because if that's what he thinks I am, sorry.
06:39But you've never had the conversation with him.
06:41He thinks this is because he wasn't around
06:43when you were a kid, and it's a very easy,
06:45I'm just, look, I'm just in the middle.
06:46He thinks that's something you can throw at him.
06:48You can say, do you know what, Dad?
06:49You're a sexist pig.
06:50You hate the fact I'm gay.
06:51You hate the fact that I'm a cross-dresser.
06:53He goes, don't you dare label me like that.
06:55I have gay friends.
06:56I don't have a problem with people that are gay.
06:57I don't have a problem with cross-dressing.
06:59He will say to you, I'm just telling you, right,
07:01you are not a drag queen.
07:02You are a drama queen.
07:03That is what he's going to say.
07:05He says, you love all of this.
07:07Not today.
07:07All of this is attention from him that you didn't have.
07:11Not at all.
07:11That's who I am.
07:12That's fine, but that's what you've got to say to him.
07:15Dad David's on the Jeremy Kyle show.
07:16That's right.
07:27David, welcome to the show.
07:28How are you?
07:29Hi, I'm fine, thanks.
07:30I know you're nervous.
07:30I know it's difficult.
07:31I want you to talk as honestly as you can.
07:34Talk to your son.
07:37What do you want me to say?
07:41I've never disowned you.
07:43I don't care whether you're gay.
07:45It's your life.
07:47I love you because you're my son.
07:49Yeah, but Dad, I don't understand that you can sit there
07:52and say this and after all I've been told by my brother
07:55that's not just by, not, it's not coming from your mouth
07:57or yourself, it's come from, it's come from Aaron
08:00and everyone else.
08:01I don't understand this.
08:02I don't understand why they're telling me one thing
08:04and then you're telling me another
08:05and then my mum's telling me another thing.
08:07So why talk to you brothers?
08:08Why don't you try and talk to me?
08:10Because I find it difficult to talk to you
08:12because I feel like you don't accept the way I am.
08:15I really don't.
08:16I don't accept the way you are.
08:16I feel like you do.
08:18I always have.
08:19That's Damon from Aaron.
08:21That's your brother you just alluded to.
08:22I would less like to let William know that me and my dad
08:24Miss Stepman.
08:25We have no problem with his sexuality
08:26or the way he dresses.
08:27Never have, never will.
08:28What I do have a problem with is him himself.
08:32He's the one that chooses not to be part of this family.
08:34He's the one that cuts us off from his life.
08:37He is childish and without any doubt
08:40my brother is an attention seeker.
08:42I'm just telling you what your family are saying.
08:44No, that's not true.
08:44I have tried to add Facebook so many times.
08:48I don't understand Facebook.
08:49Yeah, but that's the way...
08:50So many times and she ignores everything.
08:52She ignores everything.
08:53David, let's go back to his childhood.
08:55David, David, you need to speak up a bit, mate.
08:57I know you're nervous, but that's fine.
08:58Back to the childhood.
08:59Why was he in care?
09:02They put him in care because of neglect.
09:05Now that would probably, with respect,
09:07not going to sit here and have a debate
09:08on the rights and wrongs
09:09because we have a society that says
09:10if you can't cope,
09:11you're supposed to turn to help, right?
09:14Yeah.
09:14But this show has seen many a product
09:17of a care system that has grown up
09:20having been bullied, having been ignored,
09:22having been mistreated, whatever.
09:24Yeah.
09:24Do you believe that a lot of Sam's problem
09:27with you today is based entirely on the fact
09:29that he's hacked off that you weren't around?
09:31Probably, yeah.
09:32Well, with the greatest of respect, Daddy,
09:34have you ever thought it might be a good idea
09:36to apologise for your son
09:38for not being around for so long?
09:40And maybe that would be the start.
09:42I don't know.
09:44I have a pain today.
09:45I apologise when they went,
09:47you need to care.
09:48But tell him how you felt.
09:51Talk to each other.
09:53I don't know.
09:54I just feel like it is.
09:56I feel like you don't want me.
09:58Like, you, the rest of them,
10:00don't want me in the family.
10:01I just feel like I should just be the way I am already,
10:03like staying with my friends,
10:05not ringing you.
10:07Do you know what I mean?
10:08That's not true.
10:08I just feel like I shouldn't be there.
10:10I just feel like I'm not wanted there.
10:12No, he said to me this morning,
10:13he said, I'm ashamed of my dad.
10:15If one of my kids said that to me,
10:16that'd be the end.
10:17I'm ashamed of my dad,
10:18I'm also ashamed of myself, let alone.
10:19Why are you ashamed of yourself?
10:21It's because of the way I...
10:23He's never been turned away from the house.
10:25Go and...
10:25Do you know what?
10:26Do I have to do everything every day?
10:30I said to you when you came out, Sam,
10:32you have nothing to be ashamed of.
10:34No.
10:36Sam, Sam, Sam.
10:37Sam, come here.
10:38I'm not wandering around.
10:38Come here.
10:39Come here now.
10:40No, Sam.
10:40Adam, I'm not doing this.
10:42Come here.
10:42Leave me alone.
10:44I don't even know why I'd bother having a set.
10:46Sam.
10:48I'm going to go to a break.
10:49I'll sort it.
10:49I'll be right back.
10:50Don't go anywhere.
10:52Never invited us to your wedding.
10:54I'm sorry, but you did not.
10:55Why don't you look at your dad?
10:57I swear all my life,
10:58I rang you and told you the date.
11:00No, you didn't, Sam.
11:01I didn't.
11:02You didn't.
11:02You didn't, Sam.
11:05What did you find in the bedroom?
11:07An unused condom,
11:08but it was well hidden.
11:16Have you got a jealous partner?
11:17Are you the one that cannot control your jealousy?
11:20Now, if you're 16 or over
11:21and you want to be considered for the show,
11:23text the word TALK TODAY with your name.
11:24That number is 63334,
11:26and text costs 25 pence
11:28plus one standard network rate message.
11:30You can call my team today.
11:31The number is 090111.
11:32It's 123456.
11:34Course costs no more than 26 pence
11:36from a BT landline.
11:37Now, calls from other networks may be higher
11:38and from mobiles will be considerably more
11:40or email talk at itb.com
11:42to get in touch with one of my team.
11:49Thank you very much, indeed.
11:50Welcome back.
11:51Can I help someone ask like the F?
11:53No, but I can't help the way
11:56Aaron Fields.
11:57This is Steph from our arts care department.
11:59Do you know, I know you got emotional
12:00and I understand it completely
12:01because this is massive for you today.
12:03Can I say something?
12:04We almost, almost got somewhere.
12:07This is not about,
12:08I don't know if Steph agrees,
12:09this isn't about what your dad thinks
12:11or I think or this audience thinks.
12:12This is about how you see yourself.
12:15Why are you ashamed of yourself?
12:17I don't know, I just am
12:18because I haven't had people around me
12:20that I've wanted around me growing up
12:21and stuff.
12:22Like, I haven't had my dad there
12:23as much as I've wanted him there.
12:24I haven't had my mum there
12:26as much as I've wanted her there
12:27and my brother.
12:27It's like, I haven't had
12:28the family support that I've needed.
12:31Tell your son
12:32the true feelings that you have
12:34and listen to your dad
12:35because I believe him.
12:36I'm sorry, tell him.
12:37I'm laughing with son.
12:38Look at him, talk to him, God.
12:40You know I love you.
12:42I always have, I always will.
12:44I'm not worried if you're gay
12:45or cross-dresser or not.
12:48I'm not worried.
12:51I just don't feel like,
12:53I don't know,
12:53because they haven't been there for so long.
12:55It doesn't feel anything.
12:57It won't instantly,
12:59but this guy's not here saying
13:00he thinks you're this or you're that.
13:01He's here saying,
13:03I really care about you, son.
13:05You're welcome around here
13:06at any time you want.
13:07Now, you're married to Rose, right?
13:08This is the stepmother.
13:09Give her a round of applause.
13:10Come here, sir.
13:14Take a seat next to Steph, darling.
13:17You were quite, Rose,
13:19you were quite outspoken to my team.
13:21You believe that this is attention-seeking.
13:24You believe this is punishing.
13:26Yeah, because we've,
13:28we treat all the kids the same.
13:30There's eight kids,
13:30so I don't understand
13:32why you're doing this to us.
13:36We've always got on,
13:38every one of us,
13:40and you know that, Sam.
13:41Yeah, but like I said to you,
13:43like I said to Dad, yeah,
13:44like, why are my brothers saying that?
13:47You've done more for them
13:48than me on the phone.
13:49We haven't done any more
13:50for everybody!
13:51Because people wind each other up.
13:53Siblings have sibling rivalry.
13:55I am utterly convinced.
13:56Steph, tell me whether you agree or not.
13:57This isn't about these two people.
13:59There are plenty, by the way.
14:00Tell me if this is an outrageous thing to say,
14:02and probably if it is,
14:03I'll get slaughtered.
14:04There are parents
14:05who might find this a little bit difficult,
14:07but nothing.
14:08From the moment they came
14:09to this building,
14:10nothing.
14:11And what annoyed him,
14:12and I know he's nervous,
14:13was that he could be labelled
14:14on national television,
14:15somebody who was
14:16against you being
14:17whoever you are.
14:18He's not homophobic.
14:20The basis of this problem,
14:21I think,
14:22is
14:22that you never had a childhood
14:24with your dad,
14:25and you never had a chance
14:26to say to your dad,
14:27it really annoyed me.
14:29I felt,
14:30I felt abandoned.
14:31I felt,
14:32that's what you need to say to him.
14:34Look at him and tell him.
14:36That's the truth.
14:38Sam,
14:39we love you all the same.
14:40Why didn't you turn up
14:41for the wedding then?
14:42We didn't know about the wedding,
14:44actually.
14:45I rang dad.
14:46Yes, I did.
14:46I did ring dad.
14:47Yes, I did.
14:48I rang dad.
14:49You never invited us to your wedding.
14:50I'm sorry,
14:51but you did not.
14:52Why don't you look at your dad?
14:53I swear on my life,
14:55I rang you
14:56and told you the date.
14:57You didn't, Sam.
14:58I didn't.
14:59You didn't.
14:59You didn't, Sam.
15:00Let's stop the drama
15:01and cut to the chase.
15:02Why don't you ring this show?
15:04Because I wanted answers
15:05about things and...
15:06You only get answers
15:07when you ask questions,
15:08so dry your eyes
15:08and ask your dad questions
15:09that you need answers to.
15:11Go on.
15:12I thought most of them answered
15:13because I thought
15:13that you were ashamed of me.
15:15No, we're not.
15:16Because I've seen
15:16my brothers have told me
15:17that you weren't.
15:18Forget the brothers
15:19you sat with your dad.
15:20William.
15:21I can't say
15:23Sam, sorry.
15:24What your brothers are going to say.
15:25If we thought that,
15:26do you think
15:26we would have turned up here?
15:28It's true.
15:28No.
15:29She said I felt sick
15:30when I got a call
15:30from the Jeremy Car Show.
15:31Not because of the Jeremy Car Show,
15:32but we've never put Sam down.
15:34We don't care
15:35how Sam lives her life.
15:36What we care about
15:37is not being labelled
15:39ourselves incorrectly
15:40under the label of,
15:42you know,
15:43oh, we're this,
15:44we're that.
15:44We're not.
15:44They love you.
15:45I think,
15:46and this is something
15:47that we'll do
15:48away from the cameras
15:50with our aftercare team.
15:51Graham,
15:51Steph,
15:51everybody, right?
15:53This is about communication
15:55as so many of the problems
15:56on this show are.
15:57You went into care,
15:58you have questions about that,
15:59you felt ostracised,
16:00you felt alone,
16:01you felt vulnerable,
16:02and I think those feelings
16:03have maintained themselves
16:04through your life,
16:04and I think now,
16:05I don't want you to get upset,
16:07I don't think you're anything
16:08different, right,
16:09from the little boy
16:10of 10,
16:1120 years ago
16:12who went into care,
16:13who in his mind,
16:15his dad, right,
16:16let him down,
16:17and I don't care
16:17whether you dislike this
16:18or not,
16:19I think you did
16:19let your son down,
16:20I think you went on
16:21to build your life,
16:22I don't think you've
16:23ever said that to him,
16:24I think you maintain
16:25a lifestyle that is
16:26your choice,
16:27and it's become,
16:28do you know what,
16:29it's not about your wig,
16:30or your dress,
16:30or your great legs,
16:31by the way,
16:31or your shoes,
16:32it's not about that,
16:33it's about a boy,
16:35right,
16:35who never told his dad,
16:37you left me,
16:38you abandoned me,
16:39it really,
16:40really affected me,
16:41it's not about
16:42who you are,
16:43it's about what happened,
16:44and what we will do
16:45in aftercare,
16:45we always do it,
16:47is we will get
16:47to the root cause
16:48of why you feel like this,
16:49and we will try
16:50and make this better,
16:51yes or no,
16:52but don't run around,
16:54and I've got to say this,
16:55otherwise,
16:56I'm not doing
16:57the job correctly,
16:58I think it is
16:59incredibly unfair
17:00when people come
17:01on shows like this
17:02and throw,
17:02oh, he's violent,
17:04she's a whatever,
17:05they are not homophobic,
17:07I don't think he cares
17:08what you do,
17:09as long as you're safe
17:10and happy and well,
17:11but you and he
17:13need to speak,
17:14we're going to do that G?
17:15Yeah.
17:15Give him a round of applause,
17:16thank you very much indeed.
17:19Good luck to them,
17:20we'll do what we always do,
17:21we'll put them with the aftercare team
17:23and I promise you,
17:24we will do our best
17:24to improve their lives,
17:26right,
17:26let's continue,
17:26and you might just remember
17:27my next guest
17:28from a previous encounter,
17:29this was four years ago
17:31on the Carl Show,
17:32take a look at this,
17:33my friends.
17:33I told my team
17:34he's strangled me
17:35several times.
17:37Yeah,
17:37it got to the point
17:38where he put his hands
17:39around my throat
17:40a couple of times.
17:42Big man,
17:42is he?
17:43Bigger than me,
17:44yeah.
17:44What did you just say?
17:47Keep your mouth shut
17:48until it's your turn.
17:49I ain't punched her.
17:49What?
17:50I ain't punched her.
17:51You know what?
17:52I have not punched her.
17:53You've never punched her?
17:55No,
17:55I've had my hands
17:55to her throat
17:56and I've never did it.
17:56Oh,
17:56you've had your hands
17:57to her throat,
17:58that's all right,
17:58is it?
17:59And you think
18:00it's right to effing blind
18:01at me on national television?
18:02You're losing your rag,
18:03are you?
18:03You're calling me
18:04all sorts on here,
18:04you know.
18:05Well,
18:06I think you're deserving
18:07it because I think
18:07you're a woman beater
18:08and a baseball cap.
18:09Deal with that,
18:10all right?
18:11Yeah,
18:11I am.
18:12Yeah?
18:12Yeah,
18:13I am.
18:13Have you ever
18:14attacked her?
18:15Yeah,
18:15of course I have.
18:15What have you done to her?
18:16I've had my hands
18:17around the throat
18:17and I did headbutt her,
18:18yeah.
18:20You headbutted her.
18:21You think I'm scared
18:22of you?
18:23Do you,
18:23do you,
18:24do I think
18:25you're scared of me?
18:25What are you going to do?
18:28Get your backside
18:30out there,
18:30little boy.
18:31Don't even contemplate it.
18:32Do yourself out,
18:33please.
18:33Get out there
18:34and sit down now.
18:35Just like that
18:36were you,
18:37innit?
18:37John,
18:37get this off my stage
18:38right now.
18:38I've got no more time.
18:41I've got no more time.
18:42F***ing girl.
18:46I'm going to try
18:47now,
18:47didn't I?
18:49Now,
18:49like I said,
18:50that was four years ago
18:50and frankly,
18:51I'd hoped I'd never
18:52see Daryl again
18:52but today,
18:53this guy's back
18:54with his partner,
18:55Kerry.
18:55Now,
18:56first again today,
18:57it's Kerry
18:58who is claiming
18:58that Daryl
18:59is cheating
19:00on her.
19:01Kerry's back
19:02on the Jeremy Kyle show.
19:10How are you?
19:12I'm just going to say
19:13something before,
19:14well,
19:14before we start.
19:15You look as miserable
19:17today as you did
19:18four years ago.
19:21I have to make the point
19:22from that VT.
19:23Four years ago
19:24on this show
19:25there was proof
19:27that there had been
19:28violence in the relationship
19:29and I have to give
19:30Daryl some credit
19:31because we said
19:32we cannot,
19:33we will not
19:34ever
19:35do a lie detector
19:36on the Kyle show
19:37when there's violence
19:37in a relationship
19:38so we monitored you
19:39so we monitored you
19:40for a good number
19:40of months and years.
19:42To be fair to him,
19:45he underwent anger management
19:47courses.
19:48Yeah.
19:48And then the story
19:49sort of changed.
19:50You saved up 800 pounds
19:51and you went off
19:53and did private lie detectors.
19:54Based on what?
19:55Not here on the show,
19:56a private one.
19:57Why?
19:59Because the past
20:00four and a half years
20:03he's been nonstop lying
20:05for the past
20:06four and a half years.
20:06So we had violence,
20:07we had anger management,
20:08we've had cheating fears,
20:09no truth,
20:10no communication,
20:11no sex
20:12and two private lie detectors.
20:13Did it show that he was...
20:14One private lie detector.
20:15Oh, was he cheating
20:16or was he telling the truth?
20:18Well, it came out
20:19that he passed
20:20but I didn't believe it.
20:22So you're back here today
20:23so we can do a lie detector.
20:26Yeah, because it's done
20:27through the ITV so...
20:30I trust it more.
20:32Good.
20:32Well, that's tremendous
20:33to know that.
20:36The reasons,
20:37people in the audience
20:38need to bear with me
20:38before I go and lie down
20:39in a dark room.
20:40What did you find
20:40in the bedroom?
20:42An unused condom
20:43but it was well hidden.
20:45He claims it was his mates.
20:47Because that's what
20:47your mates do.
20:48All right, Dan,
20:49I'm just going
20:49to your bedroom, mate.
20:57Hi.
20:58Hi.
20:59Unused condom.
21:01Um, people telling you...
21:03What about the fa...
21:03I love...
21:04Fake Facebook account.
21:06What was that?
21:06It's got a...
21:07There's a Facebook account
21:09on the...
21:09Well, it's got his picture
21:11on the ProPic.
21:13So it's not his name
21:13but it's got his picture?
21:14Yeah.
21:16What does that mean?
21:17I don't even understand.
21:18What does that mean?
21:18He reckons that someone
21:20is trying to frame him.
21:22Well, it's...
21:24You say,
21:25I can't sleep with him.
21:26I can't get near to him.
21:27I don't trust him.
21:28I don't like him.
21:29It's a complete
21:29and utter nightmare,
21:30this relationship.
21:31And the only way
21:32on God's earth
21:33after all of this time
21:34and to be fair,
21:35I've made the point
21:36that he's done
21:37his anger management.
21:38The only way
21:38you will maintain
21:39a relationship
21:40and try and make it better
21:41is if he comes here today
21:43and passes,
21:44oh, he's back again
21:45with another hat.
21:46Oh, God.
21:47We had the hat before.
21:51Starting already.
21:52Back at you, small boy.
21:54Listen.
21:55Don't lose the picture.
21:56He's doing me
21:56heading with his tea cozy
21:57and his chops.
21:58Listen to me.
21:58You think he's cheating.
22:00You say,
22:01but this is my problem
22:02with you, okay?
22:03If he fails,
22:05what are you going to do?
22:05Okay, Daryl,
22:06I'll just stay with you.
22:07No, I'm going to leave.
22:08Really?
22:09But I was expecting
22:10this test to be done
22:12for the past
22:12four and a half years,
22:13not six months.
22:15We can't do it
22:16for the last
22:16four and a half years.
22:17We told you this.
22:18When you do a lie detector
22:20anywhere else,
22:21this has happened before
22:22on the show,
22:22there are only certain experts
22:24who do it
22:25in the United Kingdom.
22:26That test was done.
22:27We have proof he passed it.
22:29We corroborated that proof.
22:32We are happy to do it
22:33from September.
22:35If he's been messing around
22:36with respect
22:37with dodgy Facebook accounts
22:38and unused condoms
22:40and messages here,
22:41there and everywhere,
22:42I'm pretty sure
22:42he'll have done something
22:43in the last six months.
22:44If he has,
22:45you say that's it, right?
22:47Yeah.
22:47Sometimes I look forward
22:48to things and sometimes I don't.
22:50But that boy,
22:51wearing a different
22:52but strange hat as well,
22:53is back on the Jeremy Kyle Show
22:55next.
22:55Don't go anywhere.
22:57Give me the card.
22:58Well, this is the end
22:59of it anyway.
23:00Oh, do you know what?
23:01You don't inspire anybody.
23:02Really.
23:03I don't believe
23:04a word you say, darling.
23:05I don't care what you believe.
23:19Thank you, my friends.
23:20Welcome back for the break.
23:21Speaking to Kerry.
23:22Kerry has been with Darrell
23:23for five years.
23:23Engaged before.
23:25Four years ago on the show,
23:26we saw the clip.
23:27There was violence.
23:28We couldn't do a test
23:29about alleged infidelity
23:30because of that violence.
23:31We've monitored you.
23:32We've helped you.
23:33And as a result,
23:34and him doing an anger management course,
23:35you're back today
23:36because you say,
23:36it's awful.
23:38We've done a private lie detector.
23:39He passed.
23:40I don't believe it.
23:41It's got worse.
23:41There's fake Facebook accounts.
23:44There's unused condoms.
23:46I know it's embarrassing
23:47and I know it's difficult,
23:48but you look as miserable as sin.
23:50Why are you even with him?
23:53Because I love him
23:54and probably because I'm just gullible.
23:56So this guy doesn't go near you.
23:58You don't trust him.
24:00He's been violent in the past
24:02and he thinks it's all right
24:03to wear that hat
24:04and you want to be with him, yeah?
24:06Darrell's back on the Jeremy Carl show.
24:12Oh, he's not coming out now.
24:14Come on, Stevie.
24:15We're going now.
24:15He's not coming out now.
24:17Darling, I don't want to,
24:18I actually don't want to lose my rag with you,
24:20but you're not inspiring me
24:21to want to help you.
24:22Go and ask him
24:22why he won't get his stupid backside out here
24:25and do what he came to do
24:26because I am not doing it all for you.
24:28I am not doing it all for you.
24:30I'm not doing it all for you.
24:31What's the matter with you?
24:33Well, to come on here
24:34and look like a first class
24:35you know?
24:37I've just...
24:38You've been trying...
24:39Let me...
24:40Can I just nail this?
24:41You've been trying to come back here
24:43for four years
24:43and I gave you credit out there.
24:45You went and did an anger management course, right?
24:47I've done two lots.
24:48I've done two lots.
24:49Brilliant, and I gave you credit on that.
24:50I paid out my own money.
24:51Sorry?
24:51I paid out my own money.
24:53I'm delighted.
24:54When I was working.
24:55So don't tell me
24:56I'm trying to get you back.
24:57What about last week
24:58when my team did everything
24:59to get you back
25:00and what did you do?
25:01You didn't turn up again.
25:02Yeah, my own got...
25:03What?
25:04I went out and had a drink instead, yeah.
25:06So it can't really matter to you
25:07this relationship, can it?
25:08It's just one...
25:09Jeremy, right?
25:10I've done one light detector
25:11six months ago, right?
25:12Tell me about it.
25:13I passed out with flying collars, right?
25:14She says she never saw the results.
25:15It's got to be a big drama, right?
25:17It's either ITV
25:18on a little card
25:19all nicey-nicey
25:20this and the other.
25:21Yeah, because I do it differently.
25:21You didn't bring the proof of you, did you?
25:23She says she never saw proof.
25:25You don't say anything, though, sweetheart.
25:27Jeremy, we had a letter
25:28through the post.
25:29I can't believe I'm setting you together.
25:30I'm not denying you,
25:31but she's saying
25:32I never saw anything.
25:32What am I supposed to do?
25:34We've got the letters at home.
25:34Well, then why aren't you saying this?
25:36I've got a letter
25:37just saying that you've passed.
25:38I see you on telly again.
25:39We don't want nothing more to do here.
25:40What about the unused condom?
25:42Where did that come from?
25:44It's not mine.
25:44Your friends go into your bedroom
25:45and just put condoms anywhere, do they?
25:47The place where I was living
25:48is like a rough area.
25:50Everyone's up to anything and everything.
25:51Everybody just goes into everybody's bedroom
25:53with a condom.
25:53What about the fake Facebook account?
25:55I'm not even going to talk about it.
25:56I've just come up here
25:58for the light detector results.
25:59Talk about it,
25:59because that would say
26:00that you're trying to meet other women.
26:02That's what she thinks.
26:03But you know what, Kerry?
26:04In the end,
26:05I might just agree with him.
26:06You can't make a series of accusations
26:09and keep dragging this guy here
26:11and sit there
26:12with nothing coming out of your trap
26:13because it doesn't work, darling.
26:15Because in the end,
26:16people will go,
26:17do you know what, love?
26:17Put up or shut up
26:19because I'm getting bored
26:20of you making accusations, right?
26:22And he told my team,
26:24I'm bored.
26:25I want to leave her.
26:25Do you know what?
26:26Whether you like this or not,
26:27I'm beginning to agree with him
26:28because there's nothing to you.
26:30Jeremy, it's no point.
26:31It's like it's been going on
26:32for too long now, isn't it, right?
26:34Right, I've proved myself.
26:35A week later,
26:36she's on at me again.
26:37I've got enough going on in my life
26:38without all the dramatic...
26:39Well, then why aren't you...
26:40Well, we did split up
26:42for about six months.
26:43What does this relationship do for you?
26:45Let me get this right.
26:46She thinks you're a lie.
26:47You don't have sex together.
26:48You don't even want to be together.
26:50You don't talk.
26:51She mithers you 24-7
26:52and doesn't trust you.
26:53What do you both get from this?
26:56Heartache.
26:58You don't know what they're doing.
26:59I do, but I don't want all this rubbish.
27:02It would help if you stop lying all the time.
27:04It's like one big drama all the time.
27:04So you came here today
27:06to prove your innocence?
27:08Yeah.
27:08Right?
27:09Prove and it's like...
27:10If you care, either of you,
27:11because I'm not doing this anymore,
27:13I'm going out there.
27:13If you don't follow me,
27:15you can go back to Wales
27:16under your own steam
27:16because I've got better things to do
27:18in my life.
27:26So how important is it to you
27:28to save your relationship today?
27:30Or, in fact, clear your name?
27:31How important?
27:33Most is to clear my name.
27:34Once and for all.
27:37You should have brought the paperwork with you.
27:39It was all done, Jeremy.
27:40£800.
27:41She had four grand.
27:42What did you tell my researcher
27:44when you came out of the test
27:45that cost me money today?
27:46What did you say?
27:47I said just had enough.
27:48No, you didn't.
27:48You said, I think I might have messed that test up.
27:50Why did you say that?
27:50Yeah, just because my heart was beating
27:52because I was really nervous.
27:53Not really the reason why, though, is it?
27:54Of course it is.
27:56No, it isn't.
27:57Give me the card.
27:58Well, this is the end of it anyway.
28:00Oh, do you know what?
28:01You don't inspire anybody.
28:02Really.
28:03I don't believe a word you say, darling.
28:05I don't care what you believe.
28:10We get treated how we allow people to treat us.
28:13There's nothing to you.
28:14Yeah, well, I've been fed up.
28:15Put up or shut up for four years,
28:17you've been battering us.
28:18Last week, you put us down,
28:19and then the icing on the cake,
28:20ladies and gentlemen.
28:22During the test,
28:23the data recorded showed evidence
28:25that Daryl may well have been experiencing pain.
28:28Due to this,
28:29the test results are inconclusive.
28:32Establish if he was like toothache.
28:34And what did you take?
28:35I had to call them all.
28:36I have to take them.
28:37Yeah, sure.
28:38And then you didn't tell us, did you?
28:41You didn't tell us before you went in the test.
28:43You didn't tell us before you came here.
28:45Last week, we lined it all up and you did one.
28:47And then today,
28:48today,
28:49just as you're about to do the test,
28:50you develop toothache
28:51and you bung a Coca-Cola mole down your throat.
28:53I'm going to say this
28:54and it's going to go down like a lead balloon.
28:56I don't care if you've slept with the whole of them Wales.
28:59I don't care if you stay with him or leave him.
29:02You ain't coming back here.
29:03I am bored to the back teeth.
29:05Inconclusive,
29:06it means,
29:06did he fix it?
29:07Is he lying?
29:08Is he turning the...
29:10I'm building,
29:11I'm bored.
29:30Right, compose yourself. Deep breath. Let's go again.
29:34Let's continue with my next guest today.
29:35Joseph is here because he says he can't sleep with his fiancée Katie
29:38until she passes the lie detector.
29:41Joseph says, check this, their relationship accelerated, wait for it,
29:45after he proposed to Katie in the back of a car.
29:48But things then soon stepped down a gear when he heard she was cheating.
29:52This guy says it's a massive day, right?
29:55I feel like my relationship has stalled and I'm only going to stay with her
29:59if she passes the test. Joseph is on The Jeremy Kyle Show.
30:05Hello, sir.
30:07Are you all right? Yeah, I'm all good.
30:09Sorry? I'm all good.
30:10Your relationship has stalled. Yeah.
30:13You and Katie. You're 23, she's 19.
30:15It's been about eight months. You got engaged quite quickly.
30:18You say this was the love of your life. Yeah.
30:20What happened?
30:22Well, we went to school, var everything, and then got to go bar.
30:26She was the love of your life, first love. Always wanted to be with her.
30:28Um, you've been hearing lots of rumours.
30:31Yeah. I've heard that she's been sleeping around with six different blokes.
30:35Six?
30:36And you might laugh at this, but you shouldn't.
30:39The rumours have come from all sorts of people, including her own sister.
30:45Now, if you're told by your bird sister that your missus is up to no good,
30:49even you'd be thinking about that.
30:50It says,
30:51Kayleigh is the sister.
30:52She says,
30:52I'm 100% sure that my sister Katie will fail the lie detector.
30:56I believe she slept with around six different men behind Joseph's back.
31:00I found messages of her talking to different men,
31:02which I showed him, that prove she's a cheat.
31:05I feel sorry for him being in a relationship with my sister.
31:08She's a liar and a cheat who has even lied about being pregnant.
31:13The best thing Joseph could do is walk away.
31:17It's very easy for us.
31:19We do this the whole time.
31:20This is your life and this is your relationship.
31:22Um, if she has done anything, finished.
31:26Yeah, I'll be gone.
31:27You won't sleep with her now?
31:29No, because I don't know if she's been out sleeping with other people.
31:31So you banned her?
31:33Yeah.
31:33And you used to have sex every day?
31:35Yeah.
31:36As often as I have porridge.
31:38Yeah.
31:39And now, to be fair, she's getting really desperate because it's been a week, isn't it?
31:42She likes a lot of sex, doesn't she?
31:45Um, but you haven't had sex with her?
31:47No.
31:48And today you say, this test is relevant.
31:51What if she fails?
31:52I'll be gone.
31:53Anything at all?
31:54Yeah.
31:55All right, mate, bless you all for coming on.
31:56Katie, who hasn't had sex for a week, is on the Jeremy Kyle Show.
31:59APPLAUSE
32:05That's some walk-on.
32:06Your own sister says she's 100% sure you'll fail the lie detector.
32:09She says you've slept with six men behind Joseph's back.
32:12She is a liar.
32:15For a week, Joseph hasn't slept with you, which is apparently not good,
32:18because he thinks you're up to no good.
32:20No.
32:22I've done it on one occasion, which is you know about.
32:25Yeah.
32:25Why are you blinking your eyes at him?
32:27What do you mean you did what on one occasion?
32:29I cheated on him on one occasion, which is you know about.
32:31Yeah, I know.
32:32Why is that acceptable?
32:33When was that?
32:34What happened?
32:35Well, I was getting told by his family that he'd finished with me.
32:40I was trying to get hold of him.
32:41Were you still engaged at that moment?
32:44Yeah.
32:44So you had sex with another man whilst you had your engagement ring on your finger
32:47because of a rumour?
32:49So you've got a bit of a track record.
32:50Why don't you forgive her?
32:51Why don't you book her backside out of the relationship
32:52and move on with somebody who actually treated you properly?
32:54Why did you put up with that?
32:56I don't know, because I love her.
32:57What's it like thinking that he thinks you're a cheat?
32:59Tell him.
33:00What's it like not being able to have sex for a week?
33:02It's horrible.
33:03Oh, dear.
33:06It's horrible.
33:07When I'm getting told by so many different people
33:09that you're out sleeping with both people.
33:12But I'm not.
33:13So if you fail anything, if she's kissed somebody, we're done?
33:17Yeah.
33:17You're going to pass?
33:18Yeah.
33:18100%?
33:19Yeah.
33:20Brilliant.
33:20Give me the results.
33:21As ever, the questions that were asked of Katie
33:23and whether she was telling the truth or not.
33:26You're engaged, aren't you?
33:27Yeah.
33:28Since the start of your relationship with Joseph,
33:29apart from the one occasion you've admitted to,
33:31have you passionately kissed anyone else?
33:32Katie said no.
33:33Why'd you say no?
33:34I was telling the truth.
33:35You what?
33:35Telling the truth.
33:36Tess says you're a liar, love.
33:40Not blinking now, are we?
33:43Since the start of your relationship with Joseph,
33:45apart from the one occasion you've admitted to,
33:46have you had sexual contact with anyone else?
33:48You said no.
33:49This Tess says you're a liar on that question as well.
33:51In fact, I take no pleasure at all,
33:53save I'm going to spend the next however long
33:55convincing your boyfriend that he should be a million miles away.
33:58She failed every single question.
34:00Her sister, you know exactly what you are, eh?
34:04Why don't you be honest?
34:06Go on.
34:07I haven't even done any.
34:08Of course you have.
34:09How many has it been your own sister and it was six and I get...
34:12Do you know what really does my head in about this show?
34:14If you were a bloke, they'd all be, whoa,
34:16oh, because you're a girl, it's different.
34:18You treated him badly.
34:19How many times have you cheated?
34:21Come on.
34:22Only the ones that he knows about.
34:24You can't even look at me in the eyes.
34:25Tell me the truth.
34:26The ones he knows about.
34:27Don't believe you.
34:28Why'd you fail the test then?
34:31What happened?
34:32Come on.
34:33Tell me what happened.
34:35Absolutely no something else happened, right?
34:39He can't hear me out there.
34:40What happened?
34:42How many more?
34:44One.
34:46That was this.
34:47Sex?
34:47No.
34:48Of course, sex.
34:51Something happened with somebody else, yeah?
34:53Why would your sister say six?
34:55I don't know.
34:56Because you just don't like me being happy.
34:59Why wouldn't you tell him?
35:01I don't know.
35:03How many have there been?
35:05He's heard nothing of this.
35:07How many?
35:07I want the truth and I'll help you.
35:10Two more apart from the ones, so that makes three.
35:12So we've now gone from one to two to three.
35:15I don't know how long this show's going to last,
35:16but I might get to six by 10, 15.
35:18Is it four?
35:20No.
35:21I want the number.
35:22I want the absolute truth.
35:24Apart from the one person...
35:25Can you get me a calculator?
35:26Apart from the one person...
35:28Look at me.
35:29Apart from the one person you've admitted to,
35:31in the last 30 seconds you've admitted two more.
35:34The truth, and I'm being serious,
35:37will help him and it will help you.
35:39Everybody's made mistakes,
35:40everybody's done things in their lives,
35:42but if you keep something back,
35:44you won't move on and neither will he.
35:46It's six, isn't it?
35:48Yeah, it is six, yeah.
35:51He has no idea.
35:54Do you know what you're going to do?
35:56What you're going to do is you're going to go out there,
35:59you and he are finished,
36:00but you're going to help yourself start the rest of your life
36:03by saying, yeah, the test is right, it was six,
36:06I'm sorry about that,
36:07obviously you don't want to know me anymore,
36:09but I need to start again by being honest, yes?
36:13Unless you're going to try and tell me that you want to be with him.
36:16No.
36:17Come on then, come with me.
36:19Why did you cheat?
36:20Which way are we going?
36:21This way, is it?
36:21Sorry, this way, darling.
36:24Why did you cheat?
36:27Do you not love him?
36:28Yeah, of course.
36:29Why was you cheating on somebody six times and he wants to be...
36:31I beg your pardon?
36:32He was doing it.
36:33You don't look absolutely devastated that the relationship's over.
36:37I am.
36:38Was it during this week you had sex with him?
36:39Why?
36:41So when you were happy with him, you slept with six people.
36:44You tell him, not me.
36:46Joseph!
36:51She's going to tell you the truth,
36:52she's going to be very honest,
36:53and then you're going to go in whatever direction you want.
36:55It was sex.
36:57It was sex?
37:00Why make me look like a big liar to Kayleigh?
37:05Why?
37:10What do I deserve for all this?
37:14It does everything for you.
37:17I even walked from the Eastern Road at five past six in the morning
37:21to come and see you.
37:23For what?
37:25For me to keep...
37:30Why couldn't you just tell me this the other day?
37:39Who was that?
37:40It doesn't matter who it was.
37:41Can't do names.
37:46Why?
37:48Why couldn't you tell me this before we rung the Jamie Carver?
37:52You cried and said, no, you have not done nothing.
37:57It was six, was it?
37:59What?
37:59It was six.
38:01When have you been cheating?
38:04Probably every day.
38:06Not actually, because you've been with me every day.
38:09Was that when he goes to work, was it, you cheated?
38:12Yeah?
38:14Is that why you don't want me to work no more?
38:17Do you share a house?
38:18No.
38:19So, at your house?
38:21Yeah.
38:22Nice.
38:23Did you think it would not come out?
38:27What do you do from here?
38:28I have to move on.
38:29At least she came and told you the truth.
38:30What do you do from here?
38:31Well, I've still got to go and get all my stuff from her, so...
38:33Can I just give you some advice?
38:35You might ignore this.
38:36In fact, you probably will ignore this.
38:38Most of us have been in a position where we...
38:42say we're going to finish something, but the thought of it is scary.
38:46Sorry you won't like this.
38:48If you want any degree of sanity, you need to get her out of your head and move on.
38:51I appreciate the fact that you have told him,
38:53and you need to work out that maybe you've lost something you did or didn't want
38:56because of your behaviour and changed the next time when you meet somebody.
38:59Is this relationship over?
39:01Well, I'd have to think about that in the taxi on the way home.
39:03You're going to think about that in the taxi on the way home.
39:06I'm just going to say this to you very calmly.
39:08I understand that, Ish.
39:10You're going to allow her to sleep with six men,
39:12and you are going to get into a taxi.
39:16You don't want to be with him, though, do you?
39:18Yeah.
39:18You told me walking...
39:18Oh, you do want to be with him.
39:20But walking around, you said you didn't.
39:21But you're now saying you want to be...
39:22Like I said to you, I don't expect you to forgive me.
39:25Oh, you didn't say that at all.
39:27I said that to him last night when I was in the hotel.
39:29Oh, I said to you, I don't expect you to forgive me.
39:32I beg your pardon?
39:33You didn't even speak to me really in the hotel last night.
39:36I said to you last night before we got into bed,
39:37I don't expect you to forgive me.
39:39Just so I'm aware, you've cheated with six men,
39:42and you've admitted to that,
39:43and you're going to have a discussion about whether you stay together.
39:45I'm simply going to say this.
39:47What you need to do is put these on the back of your head
39:49or back of your neck so that you can see what's going on.
39:52If you feel you can trust this lady, that is your business.
39:54It's not for me to tell you to do anything else.
39:55I hope you're well, but I would just like to say to you,
39:58you need to be very sure about how you feel.
40:00Good luck.
40:01You might need it.
40:02Try and behave better.
40:04I'm going for a break.
40:05I'll see you in a minute.
40:06You are terrified that Andy might not be the father to your baby.
40:11Do you think you can just pick this man up and drop him
40:14and abuse him and use him and rely when it suits you?
40:32Do you not want your girlfriend to know the truth?
40:34That sounds good, mate.
40:35What if she cheated on you?
40:37How would you feel about that?
40:38I'd still love her.
40:39What's the truth?
40:40Give me those light detector results.
40:41Since the start of your relationship with Arnie,
40:43have you passionately kissed anyone else?
40:44You said no.
40:45Why say no?
40:46I was telling the truth.
40:49Test says your future wife's a liar, mate, eh?
40:55Did you cheat on her?
40:57Are you going to pass?
40:59Yes.
40:59You look as guilty as sin.
41:01When the test was being taken,
41:02you actually wrestled with the examiner
41:05and tried to nick a bottle of vodka from the minibar.
41:08Go, go, go, go.
41:09It's not an explosion.
41:10It's not an explosion.
41:11Slow, slow, slow, slow.
41:15I was telling the truth.
41:16I was telling the truth.
41:16Blow me over backwards.
41:17You were lying.
41:20Do you need to find out who is the father of the baby?
41:23Do you need that all-important DNA test?
41:25If you're 18 or over and you want to be considered for the show,
41:28text the word TALK today with your name.
41:29The number is 63334, and text costs 25 pence

41:45Email talk at itv.com to get in touch with one of my team.
41:54Thank you, my friends, and welcome back.
41:56Right, my next guest today, Hannah, is here with partner Andy
41:58as she is literally terrified that he might not be the father
42:01to her nine-month-old daughter.
42:03Hannah says that she made a terrible mistake over a year ago
42:06when she slept with another man around the time she conceived.
42:08She says today is one of those days that, really,
42:11she never wanted to arrive, but she knows she's got to go through it
42:14to get the truth.
42:14Hannah is on the Jeremy Kyle show that way.
42:21How are you?
42:23You all right?
42:24You look terrified.
42:26I am.
42:27Punch drunk with terror.
42:28Welcome to the show.
42:29What I loved when I read this this morning was your honesty.
42:34You've been with Andy for two years.
42:36Yep.
42:36Max is nine months of age.
42:38Yep.
42:38You and Andy are together.
42:40We are, yeah.
42:41You are terrified that Andy might not be the father to your baby.
42:47Why?
42:47Take me back.
42:47Tell me the story as loudly as you can.
42:51Basically, when we argue, I kind of storm off in a rage
42:55and ended up sleeping with another man.
42:57How long ago was this?
42:59About 18 months ago.
43:01Yeah.
43:01But it wasn't just once, was it?
43:03No, it was about three or four times.
43:05Three or four times in a short space of time,
43:07around the time of conception, yeah?
43:09Why did he, Andy, forgive you?
43:11Why doesn't he tell you to do one?
43:12I'm just being...
43:13Um, deep down I think he loves me.
43:16You say what breaks your heart and why you feel so bad and why you wanted to do this
43:21is that this guy is an amazing father.
43:24He is, yeah.
43:26You're desperate now, having made mistakes, to be a family.
43:29Yeah.
43:29And what you really...
43:30That's nice.
43:32Oh, my God.
43:35And you watch him with your kid and it breaks your heart
43:37because you know there's a very good chance that he might not be Max's father.
43:41Um, fantastic as he is, what would happen if he isn't?
43:46Things would still be the same.
43:47He said he'd still be there.
43:49I hope that he'd still be there.
43:50But you're scared he's going to leave, aren't you?
43:52He's also actually very, very ill.
43:54He basically went through stomach cancer, didn't he?
43:56He went through stomach cancer, yeah.
43:57And do you know what he said to us?
43:58And this absolutely broke my heart.
44:02He said, I think she went off because she didn't fancy me anymore
44:05because of what I had to have done.
44:06No, that's a load of rubbish.
44:08No, no, but that's what he said.
44:09And that's terrible because this is a good man.
44:12Yep.
44:14I hate these stories because everybody can make a mistake.
44:19Even four times.
44:20No, no, I've made a mistake.
44:20No, no, and I know you know.
44:21And the point is, you're all right and he's lovely
44:24and I want it to be right, but I don't know.
44:26You are petrified your girl, aren't you?
44:27I am, yeah.
44:28This guy deserves a huge amount of applause, really.
44:31I mean, he decided after fighting stomach cancer
44:34to stick by a girlfriend who cheated four times.
44:36And for nine months, he's brought up Max,
44:38not knowing if Max is his.
44:41And however concerned you are,
44:43you want to imagine how this guy's feeling today.
44:45Andy's on the Jeremy Carco.
44:46Give him a round of applause.
44:59How are you, pal?
45:00I'm all right.
45:01I know you desperately want to be Max's dad.
45:03I think it would be fair to say that Hannah is terrified
45:05that if you're not, you'll go.
45:08It's respect how I've been brought up.
45:10What was it like when she cheated on you?
45:12Tell her.
45:13I want you to be honest.
45:14It's just like any other relationship
45:15when they find out someone's cheated,
45:16it's upsetting.
45:19It hurts you.
45:21Talk to him.
45:22Tell him why you did it.
45:24Scared.
45:25Talk to him.
45:27Just scared.
45:29It's like you're scared.
45:32But when you've gone,
45:34I've not jumped in the sack with an ex
45:36or whatever like that.
45:37Do you think you can just pick this man up
45:40and drop him and abuse him and use him
45:41and rely on it when it suits you?
45:43How is he or anybody else supposed to believe
45:45that that's the last time for you?
45:47Because as soon as I get the results today.
45:49When you look at that picture,
45:50what do you see?
45:51What do you think?
45:53We're just having a nice little relaxed nap, aren't we?
45:56Does he mean a lot to you?
45:58Yeah, yeah.
46:00You know, he's a good little lad.
46:04She says you're a fantastic father.
46:06Yeah, that's why I'm...
46:08The results, I'm 50-50.
46:10And the only reason why I've got 50% of that is mine
46:14is because that 50%,
46:16if you've looked at the pictures,
46:19is his features.
46:20What my dad said to me,
46:21he's got what they call the crown.
46:23Do you feel that if they said that,
46:26you know, Max is yours,
46:27do you feel that the two of you
46:28can put a lid on what you've been through?
46:30My God.
46:31Yeah.
46:32When he's all there.
46:33He's gorgeous, isn't he?
46:34Yeah.
46:34Give me the results.
46:37Four times you cheated around the time of conception.
46:39I've done this for 10 years.
46:42You all right?
46:43No.
46:48The DNA testers ought to show that Andy.
46:55He is the child's biological father.
47:06He's brilliant.
47:07Love her.
47:08Brilliant.
47:11Love you.
47:12Right.
47:16By the way,
47:17just if it's of any interest,
47:18it probably isn't,
47:18because I'm an old man.
47:19She won't ever cheat on you again.
47:21Because that was the biggest moment of your life,
47:23wasn't it?
47:23Do you want to take your man and the father of your son in to meet his son in the
47:28green room?
47:28Come on, you give him a round of applause.
47:34You all right?
47:35Bring you, lady, then. You've left her. I can never get through these curtains.
47:39You OK?
47:40Yeah.
47:42There's your son.
47:43Come on, Max.
47:45Dad.
47:45Oh, he's so cute.
47:47Dad.
47:48Come on, little man.
47:52Oh, he's so nice. Hello.
47:54Hello.
47:55Dad, the kisses.
47:56The kisses.
47:57The kisses.
47:58You are seriously probably the best-looking child in the world, bar my son, Henry, to be honest.
48:03How old is he?
48:04Nearly nine months.
48:05You all right? Happy?
48:07Yeah.
48:07Nerve-racking, I know.
48:08Yeah.
48:09Listen, there's nothing more important than being a dad, you know that.
48:13Yeah.
48:13Give me five.
48:14Give me five.
48:15No, get lost, right? Don't wait for children.
48:17Thank you so much for coming.
48:19I really appreciate it.
48:20Good luck with everything you're doing, and I will see you soon, little man.
48:22All right?
48:22Give him a round of applause, ladies and gentlemen.
48:24Thank you, mate. Bye.
