00:00They course-corrected to where the O-line was at least stable, but part of that was also just the
00:06timing of, man,
00:08they didn't face as many ridiculously scary interior defensive linemen in the second half of the regular season.
00:15That's true.
00:15And lo and behold, they started looking better.
00:17They faced some scary interior defensive linemen against the Patriots, and it looked as bad as it ever did.
00:23But they also had injury issues there.
00:25But whatever patience I had in not aggressively rebuilding or addressing the offensive line last year, that's all gone.
00:33And now especially, you get rid of Titus Howard.
00:35I've never been a huge, huge Titus Howard fan, but I've respected him as a competent offensive lineman, NFL offensive
00:44lineman.
00:44Certainly he could be part of an awesome offensive line depending on who else he had on that line with
00:49him.
00:49You get rid of him, and now you've got four open spots on the O-line.
00:53That's a lot to go into in a year where you're also feeling like, all right, it's put up or
01:00shut up, not just for the offensive line this year, but for C.J. Stroud as well.
01:04So you've got question marks all over the place, and it doesn't – does it feel like we're – last
01:09year this time we thought Joe Mixon was going to be the running back in 2025.
01:13Now we don't even have that.
01:15And we like Woody Marks, but we know that he's not a guy that needs to get 400 touches in
01:22a season.
01:23This is – I feel more desperation right now about the offense than I did in the 2025 offseason.
01:30Well, desperation is a good way to put it.
01:32There's 100% right now as of this morning more pressure on Nick Casario to fix the offensive line.
01:38You took one of the things that was the most solid things on your offensive line and traded it away
01:43for a draft pick today.
01:45So you were already under pressure to fix the offensive line.
01:49Like it's got – especially because you've had multiple cracks at it.
01:52So you've got to fix it this year, and so your first move is trading one of the two guys
01:57that you had penciled in on the offensive line.
01:59Right, and I think that ultimately this probably comes down to Titus Howard, a guy that's never been afraid to
02:04just kind of agitate or push for what he thinks he's worth.
02:07He thinks he's worth $22 million per year.
02:10I would argue that he's not worth $22 million per year.
