00:00Is there one player in particular that you talked about those guys that it was a college player, maybe in
00:06a big time program that has been really successful, that you're curious to see how their evaluation looks and kind
00:13of where this leads for them?
00:15Because I love this argument where there's guys that are good college players. Maybe they don't have quite the measurables
00:20that they're looking at. People desire and how that impacts them here when you head over to Indy.
00:25Well, you know, I just meant, I think I said his name backwards. So it's a Emmanuel McNeil Warren, you
00:31know, this guy for the Toledo safety that can go out and really prove and maybe be a top half
00:37of the first round type guy. He can play, you know, multiple positions in the secondary should do well was
00:43a really good player in the Mac. And those are those type guys.
00:45Cassius Howe was that guy at Texas A&M when he transferred from Bowling Green and became an edge rushing
00:50difference maker there. You know, as far as moving up or moving down that one player, I think he's one
00:56that will be focused on.
00:57I think Caleb Downs, you know, yes, we all know he's a elite player, but how much will a NFL
01:04team value what he brings? How high can he go in the draft based on what he does at the
01:09combine?
01:09I think he's another guy that could absolutely do well.
01:12I think Mel Kuyper had four Buckeyes mocked in the top seven picks or eight picks, which just seemed absurd
01:21and ludicrous.
01:22We'll see how that, you know, how that looks. But this year, I was doing XM this week and there
01:30was a question was posed because we always judge these conferences on, you know, how many, you know,
01:36obviously non-conference wins, bowl season, what that used to look like. But one of the other things is how
01:41many players they ultimately have drafted,
01:42how many first round players, big time difference makers they have. It feels like this year, I mean, the Big
01:48Ten
01:50could really stake their claim after three titles that they may have more players drafted in the first round than
01:55the SEC.
01:55Yeah. And that's been a while. And you said it with the Ohio State players that are obviously going to
02:01go.
02:01Indiana is going to have at least one first rounder. And I've heard a lot of buzz about Omar Cooper,
02:06Jr.,
02:07maybe backdooring and becoming a first round receiver based on there was a story yesterday about how many interviews he's
02:13done.
02:14He's an impressive route runner. He's the type of guy that you watch that could fit in an NFL scheme.
02:18And obviously the Buckeyes are going to have a strong presence on day one, whether it's Downs, Tate, Reese, Sonny
02:26Stiles.
02:26Am I missing somebody? At least four are going to go in the first round. And that's just a strong
02:30showing right there.
02:32And the NFL draft, particularly the first two days, is a infomercial for the SEC over the years.
02:39Maybe it starts being one for the Big Ten with all those first round picks.
02:42Maybe they can have more overall picks.
02:44And I do think it's going to be one and two and be real tight between those two conferences for
02:48years to come.
