00:00al-mu'minun the believers with the name of allah the most gracious the ever-merciful
00:11truly success in this life and in the hereafter does come to the believers who turn to god in all
00:19humility in their prayer and who keep aloof from all that is vain and idle
00:26and who act conscientiously for the sake of purity and regularly presents the zakat and who guard their private parts
00:37except from their spouses that is those whom they justly and rightfully own in proper wedlock in that case they
00:48are not to be blamed
00:49but those who seek anything else to satisfy their sexual desire beyond this it is they who are the transgressors
01:00and who look after their trusts and their covenants and who are strict in the observance of their prayers
01:10it is they who are the real heirs
01:13who will own paradise where they shall abide forever
01:20we create a human being from an extract of clay
01:25then we reduce him to a drop of sperm and place him in a safe depository
01:32then we form the sperm into a clot
01:35then we develop the clot into a lump of flesh
01:40then we fashion bones out of this lump of flesh
01:44then we clothe the bones with flesh
01:47thereafter we evolve him into another being
01:51therefore blessed be Allah
01:54the best of creators
01:59then as you have passed these seven stages of physical creation
02:04parallel to the above seven spiritual stages
02:08you are heading towards death
02:11then after death
02:13you will certainly be raised up to life on the day of resurrection
02:19and we have created above you
02:21seven ways
02:23and we never have been neglectful of the needs of the creation
02:28and we send down water out of the cloud
02:32according to a certain measure
02:34and we lodge it in the earth
02:37as long as it is required
02:39and remember
02:40surely it is we who determine its taking away
02:44through the process of evaporation
02:47and many other processes
02:50and then with it
02:51we grow for you
02:53gardens of date palms and vines
02:56and you have plenty of fruit in these gardens
02:59and of these fruit you eat
03:03and with the water we produce a tree
03:06which grows on Mount Sinai
03:08which bears in it
03:10oil
03:11and supplies a condiment
03:14for those who use it for food
03:17and you have an evidence
03:19in the creation of the cattle too
03:21which should lead you from ignorance to knowledge
03:24we give you to drink of that milk
03:27which is in their bellies
03:28you derive many other benefits from them
03:31and you also get food from some of them
03:35you are born on them
03:36as well as on the ships
03:39and we sent Noah to his people
03:42and he said
03:43O my people
03:45worship Allah alone
03:47you have no god other than he
03:50will you not then guard against evil
03:53and seek his protection
03:54but the chiefs of those who disbelieved
03:58from among his people said
03:59he is nothing but a human being like yourselves
04:03only he seeks to assert his superiority over you
04:07and if Allah had so willed
04:10he could have certainly sent down angels with him
04:13we have never heard of this sort of a thing
04:16happen in the times of our fathers of old
04:20he is but a man gone mad
04:22you had better bear with him for a while
04:25and see the consequences
04:28Noah said praying
04:30my lord help me
04:32for they treat me as a liar
04:35then we sent our revelation to him
04:38directing him
04:39make the ark under our eyes
04:42and according to the dictates of our revelation
04:45and when the time of our judgment comes
04:48and the waters of the valley gush forth
04:51then embark therein
04:53two of every species
04:56a pair of everything that you may need
04:59and your companions
05:00except those of them
05:02against whom our word of condemnation
05:05for their misties
05:07have already gone forth
05:08but do not plead with me
05:11in favor of those
05:13who have acted unjustly
05:14for they are doomed to be drowned
05:18then when you and your companions
05:20are seated perfectly well in the ark
05:23say praying
05:25all true and perfect praise
05:27belongs to Allah
05:29who has delivered us
05:30from the wicked people
05:33and say while praying
05:35my lord
05:36enable me to make a blessed landing
05:39for you are the best of those
05:42who provide people
05:43with the fairest landing place
05:46verily this account of Noah
05:49is full of many signs
05:51surely
05:52thus do we reveal
05:54the hidden truth
05:55about the people
05:56and we did try
05:58the people of Noah
06:00then we raised
06:01another generation
06:02after them
06:03and we sent to them
06:05a messenger
06:06from among themselves
06:07who said
06:08worship Allah
06:09you have no other god
06:12other than he
06:13will you not then
06:15guard against evil deeds
06:19and the chiefs of his people
06:21who disbelieved
06:22and cried lies
06:24to the meeting
06:25with the lord
06:26in the hereafter
06:26and whom we had given
06:28ease and comfort
06:29in the present life
06:30said
06:31he is but a human being
06:33like yourselves
06:34he eats of the food
06:35which you eat
06:36and drinks of the drinks
06:38which you drink
06:40and surely
06:41if you obey
06:42a human being
06:43like yourselves
06:44you will then
06:45be the losers
06:46indeed
06:48does he promise you
06:49that when you are
06:50dead and reduced
06:51to dust and bones
06:53you shall be brought
06:53forth alive
06:54again from the graves
06:57how very far
06:58and away
06:59from the truth
07:00and understanding
07:01is that
07:01which you are promised
07:03there is no life
07:05beyond our present life
07:06it is here we die
07:08and here we live
07:10and we shall not
07:12at all
07:12be raised up
07:13to life again
07:14so that there awaits us
07:15no resurrection
07:18he is only an ordinary man
07:20who has forged a lie
07:22in the name of Allah
07:23and we are not at all
07:25going to believe in him
07:28he said praying
07:29my lord
07:31help me
07:32for they treat me
07:33as a liar
07:35the lord said
07:36they shall be remorseful
07:39before long
07:39when caught
07:40by some punishment
07:42then the punishment
07:44overtook them
07:45justly
07:46and rightfully
07:47and we made them
07:48as scum
07:49of the flood
07:50so the people
07:51who do wrong
07:52are far removed
07:53from the mercy
07:54of God
07:55then we raised
07:57other generations
07:58after them
08:00no community
08:01can go ahead
08:02of its appointed time
08:03and thus manage
08:05to escape
08:06their doom
08:06nor can they remain
08:08behind it
08:09or delay it
08:09then we sent
08:11our messengers
08:12successively
08:13one after the other
08:15whenever there came
08:17to a community
08:18its messenger
08:18of God
08:19they treated him
08:20as a liar
08:21so we made
08:23some of them
08:23follow others
08:24to destruction
08:25and we reduced
08:26them to mere
08:27legendary tales
08:29therefore
08:30the people
08:32who do not
08:32believe
08:33are far removed
08:34from the mercy
08:35of their lord
08:36then we sent
08:38Moses
08:38and his brother
08:39Aaron
08:40with our messages
08:41and a clear
08:43authority
08:43to Pharaoh
08:45and his courtiers
08:46but they waxed
08:48proud
08:49for they were
08:50a haughty
08:51type of people
08:52and they said
08:54shall we believe
08:56in two human beings
08:57like ourselves
08:57while their people
08:59the Israelites
08:59are our bondsmen
09:02so they cried
09:03lies to both
09:04of them
09:05with the result
09:06they became
09:07of those
09:07who were destroyed
09:09and after
09:10this event
09:11we gave
09:12Moses the book
09:13so that
09:14they
09:15his people
09:16might receive
09:17guidance
09:18through it
09:20and we made
09:21the son of Mary
09:22and his mother
09:23a sign
09:24and a model
09:25of virtue
09:26and we gave
09:27them both
09:28refuge
09:28upon a worth
09:30living
09:30lofty plateau
09:32abounding
09:33in green
09:33and fruitful
09:34valleys
09:35and springs
09:35of running
09:36water
09:38O you
09:39messengers
09:39eat of the
09:41things which
09:42are clean
09:42good
09:43and pure
09:44and thus
09:46do good
09:47works
09:48verily
09:49I am well
09:50aware
09:50of what
09:51you do
09:52surely
09:53know
09:53that this
09:54community
09:55of yours
09:56is in fact
09:57one community
09:58and your religion
10:00one religion
10:01and I am
10:02your lord
10:03so take me
10:04as your shield
10:06but the people
10:07rather than
10:09preserve their
10:09unity
10:10split up
10:11their affair
10:12among themselves
10:13forming themselves
10:15into factions
10:16considering
10:17each portion
10:18thus split up
10:19as the real
10:20scripture
10:21every faction
10:22rejoicing in that
10:24which was with
10:24them
10:25so leave them
10:27in their utter
10:28confusion
10:28due to their
10:29ignorance
10:30for a time
10:33do they
10:34think
10:34that
10:35because
10:35of what
10:36we go
10:36on adding
10:37to their
10:37worldly
10:38wealth
10:38and children
10:40we are
10:41in a hurry
10:41to do
10:42them good
10:42nay
10:43but they
10:45do not
10:45realize
10:46the true
10:47state
10:47of things
10:49as for
10:50those who
10:50out of
10:51the majesty
10:51of their
10:52lord
10:52are full
10:53of awe
10:53and reverence
10:54to him
10:54and those
10:56who believe
10:56in the
10:57revelations
10:57of their
10:58lord
10:58and those
10:59who associate
11:00not
11:01partners
11:02with their
11:02lord
11:03and those
11:04who give
11:04whatever
11:05they can
11:05afford
11:06to give
11:06as alms
11:07in the
11:08way of
11:08their
11:08lord
11:09while their
11:10hearts
11:10tremble
11:11at the
11:11thought
11:11that they
11:12are returning
11:13to their
11:13lord
11:14and whether
11:15their deeds
11:16will find
11:16his approval
11:17or not
11:18it is
11:19they who
11:20are quick
11:20and eager
11:21to do
11:21good works
11:22to outdo
11:23others
11:24and it is
11:25they who
11:25are the
11:26foremost
11:26for these
11:29and we
11:29do not
11:30lay down
11:31responsibility
11:31upon any
11:32soul
11:33beyond its
11:34capacity
11:34and we
11:35have a
11:35book
11:36which
11:36speaks
11:37and acts
11:38justly
11:39and no
11:40injustice
11:40is done
11:41to anyone
11:42nay
11:43there
11:45the
11:45disbelievers
11:46minds
11:47are in
11:47utter
11:48confusion
11:48due to
11:49ignorance
11:50about
11:50this
11:51Quran
11:51and they
11:52are
11:52engrossed
11:53in deeds
11:54different
11:55from the
11:55bindings
11:56of
11:56revelations
11:57and they
11:58go on
11:58doing them
12:00yet
12:00as soon
12:01as we
12:01take
12:02those
12:02of them
12:02given
12:03to a
12:03life
12:03of
12:03luxury
12:04to
12:04task
12:05behold
12:06they
12:07start
12:07appealing
12:08for
12:08succor
12:11whereupon
12:11it will
12:12be said
12:12to them
12:13do not
12:14appeal
12:14for
12:14succor
12:15this
12:15day
12:16you
12:16shall
12:17receive
12:17no
12:18help
12:18from
12:19us
12:20my
12:20messages
12:21were
12:21recited
12:22to you
12:22but you
12:23used to
12:24turn
12:24back
12:24on your
12:25heels
12:26treating
12:27them
12:27with
12:27disdain
12:28and
12:28arrogance
12:29talking
12:30nonsense
12:31about
12:31this
12:31Quran
12:32by
12:33night
12:33in
12:34your
12:34meetings
12:34you
12:35gave
12:36it
12:36up
12:38have
12:38they
12:39not
12:39then
12:39pondered
12:40over
12:40the
12:40divine
12:41word
12:41as a
12:42matter
12:43of
12:43fact
12:43there
12:44has
12:44come
12:44to
12:45them
12:45that
12:45which
12:45had
12:46not
12:46come
12:46to
12:47their
12:47fathers
12:47of
12:47old
12:48or
12:49do
12:49they
12:49deny
12:50their
12:50messenger
12:50because
12:51they
12:51do
12:52not
12:52recognize
12:52him
12:53or
12:54do
12:54they
12:54say
12:55he
12:55is
12:55possessed
12:56nay
12:57but
12:59the
12:59fact
12:59is
12:59that
13:00he
13:00has
13:01brought
13:01them
13:01the
13:01truth
13:02while
13:03most
13:03of
13:03them
13:04are
13:04averse
13:05to
13:05the
13:05truth
13:07and
13:08had
13:08the
13:08eternal
13:09truth
13:09followed
13:10their
13:11vain
13:11and
13:12low
13:12desires
13:13the
13:14heavens
13:14and
13:15the
13:15earth
13:15and
13:16all
13:16those
13:17who
13:17are
13:17living
13:17in
13:18them
13:18would
13:19have
13:19surely
13:19gone
13:20to
13:20ruin
13:20but
13:22we
13:22have
13:22brought
13:22them
13:23that
13:23which
13:23will
13:23raise
13:24them
13:24to
13:24eminence
13:25yet
13:25they
13:26are
13:26turning
13:26aside
13:27from
13:27their
13:27own
13:27means
13:28of
13:28raising
13:28them
13:29to
13:29eminence
13:29or
13:30do
13:30you
13:31ask
13:31of
13:31them
13:31a
13:31tribute
13:32there
13:33is
13:33no
13:33such
13:34thing
13:34as
13:34the
13:35tribute
13:35of
13:35your
13:35lord
13:36is
13:36the
13:36best
13:36for
13:37he
13:37is
13:38the
13:38best
13:38of
13:39providers
13:40and
13:41most
13:41surely
13:41you
13:42are
13:42calling
13:43them
13:43to
13:43a
13:43straight
13:44and
13:44right
13:45path
13:46but
13:46those
13:47who
13:47do
13:47not
13:47believe
13:48in
13:48the
13:48hereafter
13:49are
13:50indeed
13:50deviating
13:51from
13:52that
13:52path
13:53and
13:54even
13:55if
13:55we
13:55had
13:55shown
13:55them
13:56mercy
13:56and
13:57relieved
13:57them
13:58of
13:58their
13:58distress
13:59they
14:00would
14:00still
14:00persist
14:01in
14:01their
14:02transgression
14:02wandering
14:03on
14:04blindly
14:06and
14:06we
14:07did
14:07seize
14:07them
14:08with
14:08punishment
14:08in
14:09the
14:09past
14:09but
14:10they
14:10did
14:10not
14:11humble
14:11themselves
14:11before
14:12their
14:12lord
14:12nor
14:13would
14:13they
14:14supplicate
14:14to
14:14him
14:15for
14:15mercy
14:16behold
14:17no
14:18sooner
14:18did
14:19we
14:19let
14:19loose
14:20on
14:20them
14:20a
14:20severe
14:21punishment
14:22than
14:22that
14:23they
14:23are
14:24utterly
14:24despaired
14:25of
14:25god's
14:26mercy
14:26thereat
14:28and
14:29disbelievers
14:30it
14:31is
14:31he
14:31who
14:32has
14:32given
14:32you
14:33ears
14:33eyes
14:34and
14:35hearts
14:35yet
14:36little
14:37is
14:37the
14:37gratitude
14:38you
14:38express
14:40and
14:41it
14:41is
14:41he
14:41who
14:42has
14:42multiplied
14:43you
14:43in
14:43the
14:43earth
14:44and
14:45to
14:45him
14:45you
14:46shall
14:46be
14:46gathered
14:48it
14:48is

14:49who
14:49gives

14:51causes
14:52death

14:53he
14:53alone
14:54controls
14:55the
14:55alternation

15:13certainly

15:14life

15:15dead
15:15and
15:16reduced
15:16to
15:16mere
15:17dust
15:18and
15:18bones
15:19surely
15:20we
15:21and
15:22our
15:22forefathers
15:23have
15:23already
15:24been
15:24given
15:24such
15:24promises
15:25before
15:25these
15:26are
15:27nothing
15:27but
15:28just
15:29fables
15:30of the
15:30former
15:30people
15:32ask
15:33tell
15:34me
15:35if
15:36you
15:36know
15:37whom
15:37the
15:37earth
15:38and
15:38all
15:38the
15:38creatures
15:39therein
15:40belong
15:40to
15:42they
15:42they
15:42certainly
15:43say
15:43to
15:44Allah
15:46thereupon
15:47say

15:48you
15:49still
15:49pay
15:50no
15:50heed

15:52who
15:53is
15:53the
15:53lord

15:54the
15:54seven
15:54heavens

16:14dominating
16:15control
16:16of
16:16everything
16:17and
16:18who
16:18protects
16:19all
16:19while
16:20against
16:20whom

16:21protection
16:21can
16:22be
16:22had
16:23they
16:24will
16:24indeed
16:25say
16:25all
16:26these
16:26attributes
16:27belong
16:27to
16:28Allah
16:28say
16:29how
16:31and
16:31whither
16:31are
16:32you
16:32then
16:32being
16:33led
16:33away
16:35the
16:36thing
16:36is
16:37that
16:37we
16:37have
16:38brought
16:38them
16:38the
16:39truth
16:39about
16:39the
16:40unity
16:40of
16:40God
16:41but
16:42they
16:42are
16:42sticking
16:43to
16:43lies
16:44by
16:44refusing
16:45it
16:45repeatedly
16:47Allah
16:48has
16:48taken
16:48to
16:49himself
16:49no
16:50son
16:50nor
16:51is
16:52there
16:52any
16:52other
16:53God
16:53along
16:54with
16:54him
16:54had
16:55there
16:55been
16:55any
16:56each
16:56God
16:57would
16:57have
16:57left
16:58with
16:58what
16:58he
16:59had
16:59created
17:00and
17:01some
17:01of
17:01them
17:02would
17:02have
17:02surely
17:02dominated
17:03over
17:04others
17:04holy
17:05is
17:06Allah
17:06far
17:07above
17:07all
17:08they
17:08attribute
17:08to
17:09him
17:09he
17:10has
17:11knowledge
17:11of both
17:11the
17:12hidden
17:12and
17:13the
17:13manifest
17:14realities
17:14he
17:15is
17:16highly
17:16exalted
17:17above
17:17all
17:18the
17:18things
17:18they
17:18associate
17:19with
17:19him
17:20say
17:21in
17:21prayer
17:22my
17:23lord
17:23if
17:24you
17:25should
17:25show
17:25me
17:25in
17:26my
17:26lifetime
17:26that
17:27punishment
17:28they
17:28are
17:28threatened
17:29with
17:29my
17:30lord
17:31then
17:31do
17:32not
17:32leave
17:32me
17:33among
17:33the
17:33wrongdoing
17:34people
17:34as a
17:36matter
17:36of
17:36fact
17:37we
17:37have
17:38every
17:38power
17:39of
17:39showing
17:40you
17:40in
17:40your
17:40lifetime
17:41that
17:42punishment
17:42we
17:43threaten
17:43them
17:43with
17:44repel
17:45their
17:45evil
17:46by
17:46repaying
17:47it
17:47with
17:48that
17:48which
17:48is
17:48the
17:49fairest
17:49we
17:50know
17:50very
17:51well
17:51the
17:52things
17:52they
17:52allege
17:53about
17:53you
17:54and
17:55say
17:56in
17:56prayer
17:56my
17:57lord
17:58I
17:58seek
17:59refuge
17:59in
18:00you

18:00the
18:00mischief
18:01mongerings
18:01of the
18:02rebellious
18:02people
18:04rather
18:04I
18:05also
18:06seek
18:06refuge
18:06in
18:07you
18:07my
18:08lord
18:08lest
18:09they
18:09should
18:10even
18:10come
18:10near
18:11me
18:12behold
18:13when
18:14death
18:14approaches
18:15one
18:15of
18:15them
18:16the
18:16rebellious
18:17ones
18:17he
18:19says
18:19send
18:20me
18:20back
18:20my
18:21lord
18:21send
18:21me
18:22back
18:22so
18:23that
18:23I
18:23may
18:23do
18:24righteous
18:24deeds
18:25which
18:25I
18:25fail
18:26to

18:26the
18:26worldly

18:28never

18:31is
18:31the
18:31answer
18:32he
18:32receives
18:33it
18:33is
18:34but
18:34a
18:34word
18:34of
18:35excuse
18:35which
18:35he
18:36utters
18:36and
18:37there
18:37is
18:37a
18:37barrier
18:38between
18:38them
18:39which
18:39shall
18:39remain
18:40till
18:40the
18:40day
18:41when
18:41they
18:41shall
18:41be
18:41raised
18:42to
18:42life
18:42again
18:45so
18:45when
18:46the
18:46trumpet
18:46is
18:46blown
18:47ties
18:48of
18:48kinship
18:49will
18:49cease
18:49to
18:49exist
18:50between
18:50them
18:51that
18:51day
18:51nor
18:52will
18:52they
18:52ask
18:53after
18:53one
18:53another
18:55then
18:55on
18:56that
18:56day
18:56there
18:56shall
18:57be
18:57a
18:57true
18:57weighing
18:58so
18:58that
18:59whose
18:59scales
18:59are
19:00heavy
19:00and
19:00their
19:01deeds
19:01of
19:01righteousness
19:02preponderant
19:03and
19:03manifold
19:03it
19:04is
19:05they
19:05who
19:05are
19:05the
19:06triumphant
19:06but
19:07whose
19:08scales
19:08are
19:09light
19:09and
19:10their
19:10deeds
19:10of
19:11righteousness
19:11of
19:12no
19:12account
19:12it
19:13is
19:13they
19:14who
19:14have
19:14ruined
19:15their
19:15souls
19:16and
19:16who
19:17shall
19:17abide
19:17in
19:18jehenna
19:18for
19:19long
19:19the
19:21fire
19:21shall
19:22scorch
19:22their
19:23faces
19:23so
19:24they
19:24will
19:24lie
19:25there
19:25disfigured
19:26with
19:26burning
19:27and
19:27they
19:28will
19:28wear
19:28a
19:28grin
19:29of
19:29pain
19:30and
19:30anguish
19:32it
19:32will
19:33be
19:33said
19:33to
19:33them
19:33is
19:34it
19:34not
19:35true
19:35that
19:35my
19:36messages
19:36were
19:37recited
19:37to
19:38you
19:38but
19:38you
19:39went
19:39on
19:39crying
19:40them
19:40lies
19:41they
19:42will
19:42say
19:43our
19:44lord
19:45our
19:46misfortune
19:47got
19:47the
19:47better
19:48of
19:48us
19:48and
19:49we
19:50were
19:50actually
19:51an
19:51erring
19:51people
19:52our
19:54lord
19:54deliver
19:54us
19:55from
19:55this
19:55we
19:56shall
19:56indeed
19:57be
19:57unjust
19:58if
19:58we
19:59return
19:59to
19:59our
20:00evil
20:00ways
20:00of
20:01disobedience
20:03god
20:03will
20:04say
20:04be
20:05gone
20:06with
20:06you
20:06despised
20:08therein
20:08and
20:09do
20:09not
20:09speak
20:10to
20:10me
20:12there
20:13was
20:13a
20:13section
20:13from
20:14among
20:14my
20:14servants
20:15who
20:15said
20:15our
20:17lord
20:17we
20:18believe
20:19so
20:20protect
20:20us
20:20against
20:21our
20:21sins
20:22and
20:23have
20:23mercy
20:23on
20:24us
20:24for
20:25you
20:25are
20:25the
20:25best
20:26of
20:26those
20:26who
20:27show
20:27mercy
20:28but
20:29you
20:29treated
20:30them
20:30as
20:30a
20:30laughing
20:31stock
20:31and
20:32you
20:32continued
20:32to
20:33laugh
20:33at
20:33them
20:33until
20:34that
20:35ridicule
20:35made
20:36you
20:36give
20:36up
20:36even
20:37my
20:37remembrance
20:38while
20:38you
20:38ever
20:39went
20:39on
20:39laughing
20:40at
20:40them
20:40this
20:41day
20:42I
20:42have
20:42rewarded
20:43them
20:43for
20:43their
20:44patient
20:44endurance
20:45so that
20:46they are
20:47the ones
20:47who have
20:47attained
