00:23take yeah it is absolutely so i heard a lot about your business which is sweet treat sensation
00:31yes ma'am so you went from baking for your co-workers to selling out in two hours
00:37what was the what was that exact moment where you realized okay this is more than just cookies
00:44because i've always baked cookies for my family and close friends but then once i started happening
00:50at work and it was like oh i bought the ingredients and then they sold out so fast i'm like
00:55oh all
00:55the cookies are gone everybody's loving them they're raving about them warmer people start
00:59wanting them and i'm like oh i think i might be on to something big here let me make some
01:05more yeah do
01:05it again and it just kept growing and growing from there so i was like okay it was not nothing
01:11that i
01:11planned it just failed my niche came about so you just started off with like regular flavors and just
01:16grew or what made you choose the flavors like well i always made the chocolate chip that was always
01:21number one because that's the number one cookie and then i would have someone ask me oh do you know
01:25how to make oatmeal raisin i'm like okay i can check into it and then i had a person at
01:30work ask me
01:30about snickerdoodle and i'm like snickerdoodle i've never heard of that i was like i'll look into it i'll
01:35see and then i seen how simple it was to make a little change with the sugar cookie yeah and
01:40made that
01:41and they loved it and people love the snickerdoodle because there's something about that cinnamon that
01:47gives it a pop and my cookies are soft so it really makes it flavorful and really good and they
01:53love
01:53it it looks it looks it looks soft from the packaging because you brought us some some treats
01:58to to eat and try right absolutely make sure you show you got to make sure you show us some
02:03of them
02:04too when you get a chance but yes it's really good and then please tell me what's your favorite one
02:08husband you got to make sure you tell us what's your favorite flavor because when your wife started
02:12this how did you feel about this well it was it started off as like like she said like a
02:16little
02:16hustle yeah so it's one of those things where she kept you know doing it more and more and it
02:20was
02:20like okay well you know we probably need to upsize something so why don't we just do some new ovens
02:25right a bigger oven so we can do more and once we did that we realized that okay well like
02:30she said
02:30we got something that we can start here and try and make it a business so she's real passionate about
02:35making the cookies and making the dough and everything so if you you know passionate about
02:39it go ahead and let's see what we can do with it absolutely and it just kept growing and growing
02:43and
02:43we got to the place we are now it was like okay let's see if we can make this happen
02:47so my favorite
02:48cookie is pretty much several of them actually i'm gonna say you're the test taker i know you love all
02:55of them the double chocolate is really really good and also the snickerdoodle is really really good
03:00and um but my favorite now is the vegan the banana really oatmeal the vegan ones those bad boys is
03:07nice they're good it's just a you wouldn't expect that flavor from a cookie like that yeah because
03:12they don't have no yes but the vegan no artificial no preservatives they're in there so they're soft
03:20flavorful and you know you can eat them you know you keep them airtight they'll stay
03:26for a couple of weeks oh and they'll still be soft i've had people that have said that i'm like
03:31your cookies was i found my cookie in my bag and it was still soft what did you do to
03:36these cookies
03:36and i'm like really it was still soft that long and that's hard because listen subway is my favorite
03:43place for cookies and it'll be hard after a couple hours i'm like hey i gotta heat it up and
03:47right
03:48yeah you don't like when you gotta heat it up because then it takes away from what the cookie
03:51tastes like absolutely absolutely i i love that and it's just like you you're a true hustler okay
03:57let me just start off with that because you don't wait on a storefront okay you do pop-ups parking
04:03lots farmer markets i mean why is it so important to meet people where they at because people are
04:09everywhere and so i've had people that tell that tell me where where i should go where i should be
04:16and i listen to my customers and the customers are the key they're the one that drive the business and
04:20so i appreciate all of my customers i have customers that go on my social media and follow
04:26me and see where i'm gonna be at i had a customer that was out of town and said oh
04:29we seen where
04:30you was at we had to come to the taco festival we had to come we are wherever you at
04:35we come to get
04:35our supply and i appreciate all my customers i love them yes because they become a loyal yeah friends
04:41family right they start looking for us yeah that's the thing about it so i love that start looking for
04:45us now are you guys working on a storefront do you have one are you still like i'm just gonna
04:49meet
04:49where they at that's the best way now that is the long-term goal okay but my first term is
04:54the
04:54trailer we got the trailer coming oh i love it gonna be the number one and uh more trailers after
05:00that when we have our customers all book their events and parties oh you're really gonna be
05:04where they at yeah so eventually yes the storefront is our long-term goal we do plan to do that
05:09down
05:09the line for sure i love that i love it so for somebody that's listening right now who's baking at
05:15home
05:15and they're scared to charge what would you tell them don't be afraid because when you are passionate
05:21with something and you're giving someone something that they really enjoy people are more than happy
05:26to apply pay for the good premium items that they are receiving so do not be afraid go ahead and
05:34do
05:34what you need to do yes so that you can make your money and you can have your customers happy
05:38and you
05:38continue on having more and more customers that is the key yeah now follow your dreams if that's something
05:43you're passionate about just do it yeah just step out there because some people are scared me me
05:47myself personally if i even thought about going out doing something i'm passionate about the first
05:51thing you think about is okay are they gonna pay for this right you know you know your family and
05:55friends are always the first ones to support you so you always worry like how is it really gonna
05:59like take off for me that is true i agree and i was nervous now i mean i'm gonna keep
06:04it real
06:04yeah i was nervous at first and it was funny because i had to upgrade you know you start
06:08i had my little cookies little small cookies in the sandwich bag and that was selling them that
06:14way and then i elevated up like okay they got a little boxes put in there right then i put
06:19them
06:19in the love boxes and a variety and you know so my customers was helping me elevate by telling me
06:25what they want i always listen to my customers and give them what they're asking for and so that's
06:30how and that's how the trailer has became about you know my customers we will be at events they
06:35will be asking you got some milk you got some water you got some coffee so they don't want
06:40just the cookies they want to know what else you got with it it's like it'd be perfect if you
06:43had
06:43all this to go with it i'm like we don't we have a pop-up here we just got a
06:47tent but that's okay
06:48i'm taking note i'm writing it down so then we have so many people that have asked and i'm like
06:53you
06:53know what we got a good opportunity here we can go on and get us a trailer and we can
06:58put those
06:59things on the trailer and what better way of having the cookies then freshly baked because i
07:04pride the business on freshly baked cookie for all your tasty senses so with it being on a trailer
07:10we are going to be baking on a trailer so you're going to be getting the cookies freshly done out
07:16of the oven nice and hot even the moistest you can get it and then you're going to have some
07:21ice
07:21cream to go with it and some toppings now that is good that because i love me a good treat
07:27with
07:27some ice cream okay so throw a cookie with it and i'm like i'm sold you can have an ice
07:31cream
07:31sandwich real quick yes and look how soft it is it'll go perfect with some ice cream absolutely
07:38and i'm a dessert lover so i'm like yeah i'm gonna have to limit my usage of course listen
07:43listen you know the rbs is gonna be this year a lot of stuff is happening oh we've been at
07:47the rbs
07:48rbs we are a lot of all the big events we are at the taco festivals the barbecue festivals we've
07:53done a lot of the um events at the heart plaza so our customers know where we're at and we're
07:58there to please so instead of us just having the um commercial tip we're gonna have the food truck
08:04trailer you're gonna see us and you just come right up standing line and place your order and
08:08get exactly what you want i love it so we'll be able to see both of you whenever we go
08:12out and
08:13about right oh yes this is my partner we're okay let's get to see one without the other
08:18when we get bigger hopefully it can branch off and we'll both have you know we're doing our own
08:22separate thing with the with the business so but yeah that's what we're planning to do and we also
08:25want to do catering also so if you have like what else would you like to add weddings parties anything
08:30like that you know we can cater around 50 people 100 people whatever you want to do we can we
08:36can
08:36service that oh i love that so see that was gonna be my next question my next question was like

09:10because summer is right around the corner spring is right around the corner right valentine's day

09:53men are seasonal they like to give stuff for their loved ones when seasons are coming so it's good to
09:58know that you have different things for everybody for everything for every occasion i love that and

11:04i love double chocolate and then i even have the gourmet um the gourmet version of the chocolate chip
11:09is a turtle and that is a chocolate chip cookie with pecans and caramel in there i have marley before
11:17you pecans and caramel and they have the chunky chocolate so these that's another good one here
11:22you got the snickerdoodle oh got the m&ms my son loved the m&ms he he called dibs on

11:29went to the bathroom yes the kids love the m&ms and they also love the reese's pieces oh yes

11:44these are very good too and they're very good to have with your ice cream double chocolate you got
