00:03Linkt is about confidence, connection.
00:07What inspired Linkt and what does it represent to you personally?
00:12The inspiration actually came from one of my other businesses
00:16where I help black businesses and I was in prayer for my friend Cassandra
00:23who is an amazing jeweler and has a business.
00:26And so I wanted to be able to do something, to tell her something,
00:31to motivate her or something.
00:32So I was in prayer and I was like, God, what can I do?
00:35Because I really want her to be able to get away from her 9 to 5,
00:39which causes her stress, et cetera.
00:42And then I said, God, if you got something for me too, I'm willing as well.
00:47And I literally jumped in the shower and as soon as the water rained down on me,
00:52I saw just vision of Linkt.
00:55It didn't have a name.
00:56I just saw it and I got so excited from what I seen
01:00and where it was going all in this split second.
01:03And when I told Cassandra the second time, always, that's an inside joke.
01:08When I told her the second time, she got just as excited
01:11and that was in 2019.
01:13And we sat there that day and we began mapping out the concept
01:17and we've been going ever since.
01:18And here we're going to work,
01:18which is the next one.
01:19And it was a second time.
01:19But we're really looking for that.
