02:59And Adams, he was on kind of the same progression as Davies.
03:02So, got to be some incentive there to want to match what Davies is doing.
03:07So, great to see Adams running up front here early on.

03:11A couple of years ago, he was battling Davies for those SMX Next wins.

03:17And really, you look at the difference as he makes a big mistake there.
03:20A lot of this has been about the starts as they both transition to the professional level.

03:26There's not a lot of difference there.
03:28Both of them have the skill set, but Cole Davies, again, here starts in second, gets the lead immediately.
03:34And Drew Adams, once again, is battling through draft.
03:36And you look back through their professional careers, a lot of that could be, you could draw an immediate parallel
03:40to their first lap position.
03:42Let's take a look at that bottom screen with Dudney there, all over Swole.
03:47This guy was racing the SMX Next class in the West Division races, what was that, four weeks ago?
03:55He won that race, and unbelievable to see him now making the pro debut.

04:08But what's even more impressive, this is a quick call-up for the 82.
04:12And look at how quickly he's learning lessons in Supercross.
04:16Oh, now Nate Thrasher is going to join the party on the 25, and he goes by on both.
04:20Oh, he tries to get a two-for-one, and he does.
04:24Straight up the inside.
04:25Those guys didn't expect that.
04:28Great to see Nate getting up there, making a money move for sure.
04:33Wasn't that spectacular in qualifying practice?
04:37This is a massive turnaround.
04:39But, like we talked about at the top of the show, to be expected.
04:43This guy has won a lot of, I say a lot of races, six races, but those wins came at
04:49huge moments against some great guys.
04:52So Dugney now going to deal with Cullen Park there on the 49, and then Adams and Simonson who are
04:58still battling.
04:58It's close everywhere except for the lead.
05:02As it's six seconds, the gap between Davies and everybody else.
05:09Grasher working on the consistency.
05:11That has been the issue within the last couple of years.
05:14You mentioned those wins.
05:15Winning race is not a problem.
05:17There's Adams working on Park, who's on the Phoenix Honda.
05:21I talked to Adams earlier in the week.
05:22He thought the starts, they worked very hard.
05:25He was very confident with the bike, and what work he's done, that they were going to have it dialed,
05:30didn't work in the heat.
05:31And they're catching Dugney now.
05:32Well, the challenge for Drew Adams is going to be those starts all season long, because he is a bigger
05:38in stature guy, a little bit heavier than some of his competitors.
05:42And that's going to, you know, rob a little bit of horsepower down on that 250 machine.
05:47So, he's going to have his work cut out for him in improving in that area and having to come
05:54through the pack at times.
05:55But he's doing a fantastic job in this heat race right now.
05:58Lotter out of Chattanooga, Tennessee, battling right now with Park.
06:03See if he goes to the inside there to try to make a move like Nate, but he doesn't.
06:11Colin Perk was very fast in qualifying practice earlier today.
06:16Riding well on that Phoenix Honda.
06:19Colin running very good through the whoops.
06:21He had a really good whoops speed.

06:25And this is that big rhythm lane right here.

06:39Park, pretty large in stature for a Supercross racer in his own right as they fight for fifth.
06:45You watch this racetrack right now and going through the whoops, Jason.
06:49I mean, it is, they're flying through there, but those whoops are going to go away.
06:55We saw how deteriorated they got in qualifying practice.
07:00They got beat down.
07:01They got slick.
07:02They got edgy.
07:04Some guys jumping through there.
07:07Some guys blitzing.
07:08They are going to be a challenge, and that's where the money is going to be made here later on

07:15And time is running out, and this one as Park now goes after Dudney, who again making his pro debut

07:23And meanwhile, checkered flag is out, and upside down over the finish goes Cole Davies.
07:30That is his fourth career heat race win, beginning of his second full Supercross campaign.
07:36And we're going to watch the battle for the final spot here.
