00:05Hi guys and welcome to DriveSpark and in today's news we are going to talk about a new paint
00:10scheme that has been added to the Java 42 for the Indian market. Now Java ESD motorcycles have
00:15recently launched a new ivory color option for the Java 42 that has been priced at Rs. 1.85 lakh
00:22ex-showroom in India. Now the new ivory paint scheme becomes the most expensive version in
00:27the Java 42 lineup. Now however let's talk about what is basically new so the ivory finish actually
00:32brings in a lighter paint scheme to the otherwise dark themed palette of the Java 42 range that was
00:37already available in the Indian market. Now the new ivory colorway sits above the existing dual channel
00:41ABS alloy wheel variant of the Java 42 which actually was previously the top of the line trim and was
00:47priced at Rs. 1.83 lakh ex-showroom and now this one the ivory one is Rs. 2,000 expensive
00:53than this.
00:53Now however no mechanical changes have been done to this except this new color scheme. If we talk
00:59about the powertrain of the Java 42. Now the ivory color continues to draw power from the same 294.72
01:07cc single cylinder engine that is actually powering the other motorcycles in the lineup as well and
01:12this liquid cool engine produces 27 bhp of power and 26.84 nm of peak torque. It comes mated to
01:19a
01:19six-speed gearbox and it also gets an assist and slipper clutch as well. Now if we talk about the
01:23other mechanical bits on the motorcycle they have obviously been unchanged and the Java 42 uses a
01:29double cradle frame that is actually suspended by telescopic front forks and you get twin shock
01:34absorbers at the rear where you can adjust the preload of it. The front one is not adjustable the
01:40rear one the preload is adjustable for that. Breaking duties also remain the same you get a disc at the
01:45front and a disc at the back and you get dual channel ABS for it. Now under the Java ESD's
01:50ownership assurance program the 42 is offered with a standard warranty of 4 years and 50,000 km. Now
01:57this is the standard warranty that you get on the motorcycle as you buy it from the showroom. Now
02:01that can be extended up to six years and you have to pay an additional marginal cost for that.
02:07Buyers can also choose from a roadside assistant for up to eight years and an annual maintenance contract
02:12of up to five years with nationwide coverage. So basically out of the factory you get this
02:18warranty. If you pay a little extra you will get some additional bits that will actually be very
02:22very helpful. Roadside assistant is very helpful. Suddenly if you break down somewhere you just have
02:27to make a call they will come and do everything what they can from their side to help you out
02:32in the
02:32middle of the road. So yes guys this was the all-new Java 42 and now we've told you everything
02:37you
02:37needed to know about this motorcycle. This has got a new ivory color palette and it is
02:42priced at rupees 1.85 lakh ex-showroom. I hope you liked this video. I hope you enjoyed it. If
