00:00Hey guys, it's Bazaam Super and we all know it is game day and I want y'all to try my favorite
00:05dish to make on game day and that is my famous New Orleans Jambalaya Pasta.
00:14First we're going to boil our pasta. Make sure y'all put salt in that pot and stop using that
00:18oil. Thank you. Okay, so this is a very easy recipe. Let's get into these ingredients. We
00:22got red and yellow bell pepper, parmesan cheese, diced tomatoes, heavy whipping cream, fresh
00:28peeled shrimp, andouille sausage, chicken breast, minced garlic, fresh chopped parsley, butter, and if
00:36you're from New Orleans you already know what this Cajun seasoning is. I don't know about you but I
00:40break my spaghetti in half and put it in a boiling water. I add a little more salt at the top because
00:45I do not want my spaghetti to stick. Please do not use oil. I'ma say it again, do not use oil baby.
00:50Next I'm going to season my shrimp with that New Orleans Cajun seasoning and I'm going to
00:55massage that seasoning all up and through them shrimps. You're going to do the same thing with
00:59your chicken. Massage that seasoning all up and through it. The only meat I will not be seasoning
01:04is the sausage because andouille already have its own Cajun spices. Now let's butter our pan and then
01:10we're going to drop in our vegetables and let that saute down. Next we're going to add in our andouille
01:15sausage. I want to saute the sausage all the way down because I like when it be crispy on the edges.
01:19It looks really good inside the pasta. In a separate pan I'm sautéing my shrimp and my chicken together.
01:25I don't know why I'd rather saute my peppers and my sausage together but to each is own. You want
01:30to saute it all together that's fine too. As you see my sausage is crispy. My peppers are sauteed all
01:37the way down. I'm now going to add the chicken and shrimp to this pot. Next let's throw in our diced tomatoes.
01:43Stir in your diced tomato with your meat up real good. You want that real jambalaya flavor.
01:48Now this is all stirred up. We're going to sit this to the side and we're going to start on our
01:52yes alfredo sauce. We want that creamy jambalaya Cajun pasta. Now the alfredo sauce is real easy.
01:59Add your butter to the hot pan. After that add your minced garlic. Let that garlic sizzle. After
02:04that add in your heavy whipping cream. Once that heavy whipping cream starts bubbling add in that
02:08parmesan cheese. Whisk until you can't whisk no more. Then add in some more parmesan cheese.
02:15Add as much parmesan cheese as you like. But don't forget to add your Cajun seasoning to the
02:19alfredo sauce too because you want that flavor. Remember it is Cajun jambalaya pasta. You need
02:24that flavor. And boom your alfredo is done. It's cheesed up. It's seasoned down. Now it's time to add the
02:30rest of your food. Add your noodles to your alfredo sauce. Then add your Cajun jambalaya mix to your
02:36alfredo sauce as well. Make sure you put your fire on simmer while you stir all this together.
02:41This is how your pasta should look once everything is stirred. Do not forget to top it off with your
02:45fresh parsley. I hope you guys enjoyed this recipe. I've been making this for years and I enjoy it
02:51every time. So flavorful. So Cajun. Make sure you enjoy this recipe. Happy game day.
