00:00Well, a U-turn will be welcomed.
00:02Pubs and many, many other businesses across the country are bleeding out.
00:06We called on the very day of the Chancellor's Budget just six weeks ago for this measure to be reversed.
00:12It's extremely damaging and it comes on top of so many other headwinds that they're facing low consumer demand
00:19because people don't have confidence in the economy, but also all of the red tape on employment and last year's national insurance rise.
00:25So it's really tough out there for our high streets and anything the government can do to U-turn, the better.
00:32But it also goes to the Chancellor's judgment because they won't take tough decisions on spending.
00:38They keep coming back with more and more taxes on business.
00:41They think they really understand business and they certainly don't understand the damage that's being done.
