Tories: Govt's rate cut won't help businesses survive

Shadow Business Secretary Gareth Davies says that the government's 20% business rate cut for pubs and clubs is a "start", but adds "it's really not going to do it in terms of survival for some businesses out there". 00:31That was then reduced to 40%, and they won an election saying that they were going to make business rates

00:39It is completely contradictory. I want to see much more from this Labour government if they're serious about supporting our

00:46pub and retail and hospitality and leisure industry.
