00:00All right, how about this game, Joe?
00:01In the NFL on Christmas Day, Jared Goff,
00:03they suffered a devastating defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:06They still have their playoff hopes in line.
00:08Minnesota dead in the water, and Max Brosmer going to get another start.
00:12This line, Joe, opened up at one and a half as a favorite towards Detroit.
00:14We're over a touchdown at just about every outlet at seven and a half,
00:18and a total that crushed from a 48 and a half down to a 43 and a half.
00:22Yeah.
00:22Have you watched Brosmer play?
00:24That's why, Joe.
00:24What's your spread line here?
00:25Well, I mean, so you're telling me J.J. McCarthy is worth six,
00:30six and a half points to the spreads?
00:32Okay.
00:33Listen, Detroit is not going to take any prisoners,
00:37but don't be shocked if that Minnesota defense causes some issues
00:41for Jared Goff here.
00:42I wouldn't be running and laying this over a touchdown with Detroit.
00:46Like the total 43 and a half, and you're right.
00:49And also, Amon Ross St. Brown, who did get banged up in his last game,
00:52sat out early this week here with a knee.
00:54This is no automatic game for Detroit, like they should wipe them out.
00:57We actually thought Detroit would wipe out the Pittsburgh Steelers.
00:59It's favored by roughly the same number at minus seven and a half.
01:02That defense didn't come to play, and that defense even got more injured
01:05in that football game.
01:06We got more spread lines next.
01:08We're going to take a look at the Texans and the Chargers Saturday.
01:11That's a good game, people.
01:13Stick with us right here on the early line.
01:14We'll be right back after this short break.
01:16Oh, it's festive around the grid today.
01:18No doubt about it.
01:19It's Christmas Eve.
01:20Tomorrow is Christmas.
01:21This next week is going to be the new year and bringing in the new year in style,
01:25which some of these NFL football teams, hopefully they are doing that, Joe.
01:29Saturday afternoon, 4.30 start from Los Angeles.
01:32It's the Houston Texans taking on the Los Angeles Chargers.
01:35Big game in the AFC.
01:36This line actually opened up, Joe.
01:38Houston as a favorite at minus one and a half.
01:40That has now swung.
01:41Some outlets showing as high as two and a half as a favorite for the Los Angeles Chargers
01:44after they decimated the Dallas Cowboys, while Houston really struggled with the Las Vegas Raiders.
01:49A total in this game listed at 39 and a half.
01:51Joe, your spread line for this game between Houston and L.A. on Saturday is what?
01:56Yeah, I mean, listen, it may not be a lot of drama tomorrow, Donnie,
02:00but this is the early game on Saturday, and it's probably going to be the better of the two games
02:06because I still have no idea who's playing quarterback in the night game.
02:09But this is going to be an interesting one.
02:11You got a little revenge going here.
02:13Don't forget Texans upended the Chargers in the postseason last year,
02:18and now the Chargers are trying to keep pace with the Denver Broncos
02:23in what is still a up-for-grabs AFC West here.
02:27But there's really nothing here, Donnie, that it's a toss-up game to me one way or the other.
02:34Now, yes, the Chargers at home, but that's never really been a great home field advantage.
02:40The number and all of the movement we've seen to this point, Donnie, tells us,
02:45yeah, it's pick your poison because the look-ahead was what?
02:49Houston one and a half?
02:51It's now one and a half Chargers, maybe two?
02:53Just pick the money line winner here, Donnie.
02:55Who do you think wins the game?
02:57Bet them on the money line, and you're off and running.
02:59Yeah, well, that matchup between that defensive line here for the Houston Texans
03:03going up against the offensive line for the Chargers.
03:05That'll let you know who's going to win it, but also understand this.
03:06Justin Herbert, get out of that pocket.
03:08He can run and scramble, and he's got a howitzer for an arm.
03:11Fun game on Saturday.
03:12Two good games, what we're anticipating on Saturday.
03:14Christmas Day, eh, maybe not so much.
03:16How about Christmas usually get your bonuses?
03:19Not for DK Metcalf.
03:20He's going to lose about a half of a million dollars.
03:22Suspended two games.
03:23Appealed, the NFL said, nah, man, you can't go into the stands
03:27or go near the stands and take a swing at a patron
03:29who is paying technically your paychecks there.
03:32He's down two games here, and he's going to lose a lot of guaranteed money
03:35in that contract.
03:36Control yourselves, people.
03:37That's what they're telling you to do in the NFL.
03:39Yeah, and listen, Donnie, we knew it.
03:42We said it yesterday.
03:43There are just some things and some lines you can't cross,
03:47and that's one of them.
03:48I mean, this wasn't him berating an official or something along those lines.
03:51No, no.
03:52He went into the stands and put his hands on a fan.
03:55The NFL can't have that.
03:57And now, you know, the Steelers are left once again going, all right, great.
04:01Another disgruntled, in a long history of disgruntled, wide receivers, Donnie.
04:06Doesn't it feel like if it ain't one, it's the other?
04:09The Steelers always have these amazing receivers that are absolute head cases,
04:15and DK Metcalf is right at the top of the list.
04:18You're right.
04:19Like, can we go back?
04:19It's, you know, Plaxico Burris.
04:21We had Antonio Holmes get launched out of there.
04:23We had Antonio Brown get thrown out of there.
04:25George Pickens got thrown out of there.
04:26Like, it's really an endless stream.
04:28You're right about it.
04:29Credit Tomlin for these crazy wide-outs,
04:31at least getting the best out of them for while he can,
04:33and then we'll see what happens after that.
04:34By the way, top five passing yards in the NFL this year as it stands now.
04:37Matthew Stafford, 4,179 yards.
04:40Right behind him, four yards short.
04:42Dak Prescott, followed by Jarrett Goff, Drake May, and Sam Darnold.
04:46Expected Stafford and Prescott to be up there, and Jarrett Goff.
04:49Look at Drake May and Sam Darnold in the top five equation there, Joe.
04:53Well, yeah.
04:54Yeah, I mean, and I think, what, the number one receiver.
04:56Look at all of those number one receivers that they have there and those teams.
05:01You're seeing a pattern.
05:02They've got go-to.
05:03They have true number one receivers.
05:05What JSN is doing for Sam Darnold in Seattle,
05:09I don't think anybody saw that happening.
05:11We figured Dak Prescott, if he can stay healthy with CeeDee Lamb,
05:15he was going to be a monster.
05:16And Pukunuku is in a class all of his own.
05:18And you know what, Amon St. Brown, those are the four top quarterbacks,
05:22all have the four top receivers in the NFL to throw to.
05:26Giving those guys some help.
05:27Top five in rushing yards.
05:28Remember last year, like, the Buffalo Bills were trying to call the Bluffle and James Cook.
05:31Like, ooh, he had a record year this year.
05:33I don't know if you can duplicate it.
05:34Well, he's got 1,532 yards on the ground, a ton of touchdowns,
05:37and leads the NFL in rushing just over Jonathan Taylor, Devon A. Chan,
05:41Derrick Henry, and B. John Robinson.
05:43Last year, you actually had Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley
05:46pushing that 2,000 rushing yard number.
05:48Not this year, but still some solid season.
05:50It leads with James Cook.
05:52Yeah, remember how the season started, though, with the Bills on, you know, hard nod.
05:56Will they pay him? Won't he pay him?
05:58The kid went about his business.
05:59He did it right.
06:00They paid him.
06:01And now he is paying off.
06:03And that's exactly what you want.
06:05If you're going to contend in Buffalo, you better be able to run the ball in January,
06:10and it looks like they're going to have no problem running the ball.
06:13No, it doesn't.
06:14By the way, Lamar Jackson hasn't practiced.
06:16He's missed practice for the past couple weeks here with various ailments here.
06:19I don't understand the back injury.
06:20It didn't look like anything happened.
06:21Then he sat out the entire game of a very important game.
06:24They should have won that game.
06:25Do we expect him to play this weekend, Joe?
06:27Are you worried at all?
06:29I would.
06:31Even if he does play, so what?
06:32What is he going to be, 50%?
06:3550% might be better than Max Brosmer, that's for sure.
06:38We'll be right back for NFL Topics Ahead.
06:40In the midst of a playoff race, you want Lamar Jackson back in your lineup
06:43because you feel he gives you the best chance of victory,
06:45even though the Baltimore Ravens had a double-digit lead midway through the fourth quarter.
06:49Couldn't hold that and end up losing a devastating loss for them,
06:51which might have them on the outside, Joe, looking into the playoffs.
06:55But how about Justin Fields?
06:56The Jets are always on the outside looking into the playoffs.
06:58It's just what happens each and every NFL season, no matter the quarterback or the head coach.
07:03Justin Fields is healthy right now.
07:05Justin Fields just went to the IR, Joe.
07:07Tough scene.
07:09Yeah, that's brutal.
07:10And Brady Cook is now your quarterback here.
07:13Yeah.
07:13Well, listen, it's not as if I would have any worries if they threw Justin Fields out there anyway,
07:19that the Jets would somehow win a game.
07:22Let's be realistic.
07:23He can't throw for more than 50 yards.
07:25But I think Brady Cook actually gives him a better chance of actually winning the game than Justin Fields does.
07:31But you can't roll him out there and risk him getting hurt because then, well, yeah, he's not really worth anything.
07:37And in a league here where quarterbacks, even the worst kind like Justin Fields,
07:42they carry a little value, some value.
07:46But I think it's best if you just shut them all down at this point.
07:49San Francisco 49ers start tight end.
07:52Mr. Kittle banged up a little bit with an ankle injury.
07:55Huge game coming up this week against the Chicago Bears.
07:58He's tough as a football player, Joe.
07:59You should be able to gut this out, or at least we hope.
08:02Yeah, well, you know, the mid to low ankle sprain is never fun.
08:06It's always a lot of pain.
08:07And it's unfortunately, Donnie, one of those injuries where the only thing that really gets him any better is rest.
08:13And he doesn't have any time to do that as they are in a battle.
08:15Although, you know, they already are in the playoffs.
08:19They've already clinched a playoff spot here.
08:20So it's not do or die for the 49ers and George Kittle.
08:24We see bad contracts a lot in the NFL, and quite frankly, across all the professional sports landscapes here, Joe.
08:29But none worse than Deshaun Watson's deal.
08:32Give up all that draft capital, pay all of that money, and got absolutely nothing back in return.
08:38And he comes back for a couple weeks, puts on the jersey, throws a couple passes, and the Browns go,
08:42yeah, we're not activating you.
08:43Go home.
08:45Yeah, well, that was the end of that.
08:46What did you really think?
08:48I mean, that'll go down as one of the biggest, just the most unbelievable wastes of money.
08:54And there has been, that's saying something in the NFL.
08:57But I'm talking about a guy that is just completely off the deep end, that you're paying $200 million to.
09:03Just absolutely crazy.
09:06At the end of the season, Joe, we always ask, well, a quarterback's going to be back the next season.
09:10More importantly, our coach is going to be back.
09:11John Harbaugh feels like he's been down in Baltimore for 30 years.
09:14He's talking about job security right here.
09:16There is still a possibility of a playoff.
09:19You need help now.
09:19I get that.
09:21When teams don't make the playoffs, there's a focus on potential staff turnover.
09:26Do you have any fear for your own job security here?
09:30Or do you anticipate being here next year?
09:33Yeah.
09:34Thanks for asking that question, Bo.
09:37Well, first of all, yeah, no, that's good.
09:41That's a great question.
09:42I mean, it's a sport.
09:43It's just how it works, you know.
09:44And one thing I always have believed is that, first of all, coaching at any level is a day-to-day job, you know.
09:52And your job is to do the best job you can today and to do everything you can to help your players and your coaches,
10:00if you're a head coach, be the best they can be every single day.
10:04And it's never been about keeping a job.
10:06And there's no such thing as, like, your job or my job.
10:09You know, we have responsibilities, we're given opportunities to steward those responsibilities,
10:17and you're given a job to do that until you're not, you know.
10:21And then you try to do the best.
10:23I try to do the job, not try to keep the job because there's no such thing as having a job, just doing a job.
10:30And so my focus is on always and has been for the last 18 years here and the last 41 years in coaching, or is it 42?
10:36It's up there.
10:37It's been to try to do the best job I can today and fight as hard as I can so the guys can have the best chance to be successful today.
10:51You are hired to be fired.
10:53It's the way it is.
10:54To make it as long as he has, he's beat those odds.
10:56And also understand this, if they do let him go in Baltimore, regardless of what you think about John Harbaugh,
11:00he will have another head coaching job in the NFL at the start of the regular season next year.
11:04No doubt in my mind, Joe.
11:05The guy will be unemployed for all of three seconds, and it's not even funny.
11:12And even if he wants to, maybe the guy is entitled to maybe take a year off.
11:16I mean, who can blame him?
11:17But also, okay, Ravens, who are you replacing him with?
11:20You know, it always comes back to that, Donnie, too.
11:23Like, the devil you know is always better than the devil you don't.
11:26So, who exactly are you rolling in there to replace Harbaugh?
11:30So, it's, you know, the guy has got multiple assistants that he's gone through over the last couple of years alone, right?
11:36Guys that have gone on to other places and other careers.
11:39Like, you know, nobody has done it or has longer.
11:43I mean, we're talking Harbaugh is in Belichick category, right?
11:47I mean, how long was Belichick there before?
11:49It was just time for a change.
11:51Eventually, they're going to get there.
11:53Same thing with Tomlin.
11:54But I definitely think it's going to be on their terms and not ownership just pulling the plug because, oh, we can't have this anymore.
12:02These guys are past that point.
12:04Exactly.
12:04Maybe it's just a breath of fresh air.
12:06You need a change.
12:06It happens.
12:07Maybe a change of the quarterback position for Baltimore.
12:09You never know.
12:10It is professional sports.
12:11We'll find that out.
12:11But Harbaugh, you see that.
12:12He ain't panicked.
12:13He's got millions in the bank.
12:14He'll be just fine here.
12:15Dallas and Washington on Christmas Day.
12:17Neither one of these teams going to the playoffs here.
12:19So looking to spread some Christmas cheer, we know Dak Prescott's going to be out there against a bad defense versus Washington.
12:24The question is, Josh Johnson, man, what is he going to give you for Washington as it looks like he's the anticipated starting quarterback?
12:30A touchdown favorite for the Cowboys on the road and a total of 50 and a half.
12:34One o'clock Christmas Day.
12:36Spreading that cheer around, Joe.
12:38Oh, yeah.
12:39There's a lot of cheer.
12:40No, there's no cheer there.
12:42It has been a washed out season for Washington.
12:45We know this.
12:46Josh Johnson now rolling him off the street into there.
12:50The offensive line is awful.
12:52Doesn't make a difference who you throw there.
12:54So, yeah, listen.
12:56And if you're the Cowboys, keep an eye, Donnie, on those incentive bonuses and who's looking to do what.
13:04Because there's going to be an awful lot of guys across the slate the next couple of weeks, Donnie, that are going to be making business decisions.
13:11And that may not exactly bode well for who you're thinking about betting.
13:15So, just make sure you know what's at stake for some of these teams that have nothing to play for.
13:20Exactly.
13:21And you're taking a look at three games on Christmas Day with the road teams favored by over a touchdown.
13:25That's incredible just to start with.
13:26But, again, you're dealing with quarterbacks that are good versus quarterbacks that shouldn't be in the NFL.
13:31That's game number one.
13:32Game number two, Detroit and Minnesota.
13:33Jared Goff, he should be in the NFL.
13:35Max Brosmer, he should not be in the NFL.
13:37Well, case in point, a one-and-a-half point opening line or look headline, we should say, is now over a touchdown.
13:42That's seven-and-a-half in each market that you're looking in right now.
13:4543-and-a-half is the total, down from 48-and-a-half, and rightfully so.
13:48We get nothing on offense from Minnesota.
13:50But the question is, what are we getting out of Detroit's defense here?
13:53Max Brosmer is so bad, I think he could play with seven guys on defense and probably shut down that Minnesota offense.
13:59Yeah.
14:00I don't think they are.
14:01Listen, they still have plenty of weapons, and he is getting more and more experience now, Brosmer.
14:08And it's not like he's got to go up against the, you know, what, the Seattle defense?
14:13I mean, this is a little bit different of a situation because that Detroit defense is a sieve.
14:19So, maybe, you know, you get the hands to Justin, get the ball to Justin Jefferson's hands and see what happens and go from there.
14:27But Detroit is teetering on oblivion here, and you've got to wonder what that locker room is like right now as well.
14:35Exactly.
14:35It's hard to take anybody on Minnesota because Brosmer is a quarterback.
14:39But the one thing you have to understand, too, is Joe brought up a great point.
14:41When teams are basically out of it or heading down, these guys have a lot of personal pride.
14:45And understand this, young quarterback or old quarterback, they know the stakes.
14:50Justin Jefferson, who wants to be a Hall of Fame wide receiver when it's all said and done, he needs a quarterback.
14:54We get that.
14:54But he's not too far away, Joe, from a 1,000-yard season.
14:57That is a huge deal.
14:59So, you look at Justin Jefferson on this game, 57.5, give or take, where you're shopping at, as his player prop.
15:04I don't know if he gets there, but this doesn't seem like it's one of those games where Justin Jefferson gets two targets.
15:09They might just target him because why the heck not?
15:11Treat your guys that you want to be around in the future, your superstar players, the right way, and maybe that's the right way to do it.
15:17We also have Denver and Kansas City at night, Joe.
15:19Bo Nix, he's really good.
15:21He should be an NFL player.
15:22O'Lata Coon, who just got destroyed by Tennessee, this line's up to 12.5 and 13.5 in the marketplace, Joe.
15:28Total of 36.5.
15:30Kansas City, waving that white flag, Joe.
15:33What do you think?
15:33Oh, what?
15:34And who can blame them?
15:36I mean, you know, you've been to the – it's, you know, of course.
15:39The minute that you were bounced and nothing left to play for, you know, you can finally exhale here.
15:45And that's exactly what they did last week, and that's exactly what they're going to do this week.
15:49This game is going to be real ugly real quickly.
15:54Christmas cheer all over the place.
15:56Why do you say that?
15:57Well, the NFL is going to take care of business tomorrow with – you're going to have three games, Joe.
16:02We can't guarantee you three good games.
16:04But, again, value is in the eye of the beholder.
16:06If you go tomorrow and pick those three games, and just say you're taking sides and go 3-0,
16:10those might be the best three games you saw all season long with a lot of fun,
16:14even though the general public would be like, this game actually stinks.
16:17Cashing tickets makes games seem great here.
16:20But before we get to those slates, once again, on Christmas Day, we got a monster game.
16:24Maybe the game of the weekend.
16:25It's going to take place on Sunday afternoon at 425 from Orchard Park.
16:30That's the Philadelphia Eagles and Jalen Hurts taking on Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.
16:33Two teams that you could possibly see as a Super Bowl rematch.
16:37The Eagles were getting three points at the opening number.
16:40The Eagles now still getting points, but it's down to plus one and a half, Joe.
16:44Here's Sean McDermott, the head coach of the Buffalo Bills,
16:47who used to be the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles, talking about playing the Eagles.
16:51Very talented roster.
16:53They've done a great job building it, in particular the key positions.
16:56Numbers are numbers, and numbers can indicate certain things, but they can also not always tell the full story.
17:05We know who Saquon is.
17:07I mean, he's a Hall of Fame player.
17:10Their offensive line, very talented as well.
17:12Done a great job with the coaching that goes along there with Coach Stoutland.
17:16And then the offense overall, extremely talented on the perimeter, as well as a tight end position.
17:22You know, so it's a tough, tough unit to stop, and the run game in particular is real.
17:29I know the numbers say, and I'm not buying the numbers.
17:32Yeah, they're very...
17:34Dermott, as I said, used to be with the Eagles here.
17:36He was a longtime assistant, but then became the defensive coordinator.
17:39Didn't have a great season after trying to replace Jim Johnson, one of the great defensive coordinators in the history of the NFL.
17:45Andy Reid did him a solid, placed him with Ron Rivera down in Carolina.
17:48Look at the guy.
17:48Has been a head coach for a long time, looking for a Super Bowl, at least making the Super Bowl, Joe.
17:52Good game this Sunday.
17:54Rain in the forecast and win, though.
17:55How about that?
17:57Yeah, well, shocker.
17:58But again, you got two teams here that should not...
18:00The elements, I don't think, will bother them one way or the other, Donnie.
18:05But it happens to be, I think it's the one team that Josh Allen, in his career, has never been able to beat, much less cover.
18:13I think he's 0-2 straight up and against the number, against the Eagles.
18:17He just, he hasn't fared well against them.
18:20But hey, you know, we have said it, Donnie.
18:23Window of opportunity, right?
18:24I think the Bills' window of opportunity is closing.
18:27I think we've seen the desperation with the Bills when they face better than 500 teams, right?
18:34What's supposed to be the best in the NFL.
18:37I mean, the Bills, any team over 500 this year that they've played, they're 5-0 against the number.
18:43So the Bills seem to understand that.
18:46Forget about the Jets and beating...
18:49We need to go out there and we need to do it against the better competition.
18:53And they're going to have another litmus test here.
18:55This is not going to be an easy game for them at all.
18:58But again, I think it's not over for whoever loses this game, Donnie.
19:02But I do think this is going to be a really good test for both these teams.
19:07Yeah, it should be a fun one to watch.
19:08Maybe the best game of that day.
19:10I'll tell you another intriguing one, which got a little bit more intriguing, Joe.
19:12Why has it?
19:13Because DK Metcalf gets suspended by the NFL for the final two games.
19:16Which, if you're a Baltimore fan, you've got to love.
19:18Because the Pittsburgh Steelers have to lose to the Browns if the Ravens won't have any chance of making the playoffs and or winning their division.
19:24Aaron Rodgers coming to town to take on Shador Sanders.
19:26The weather, it's actually improving, which is kind of funny to say when you have 48-degree temperatures and only 12-mile-an-hours of winds.
19:33Early in the week, Joe, we're expecting cooler temperatures and higher wind counts, which is something Shador seems like he has to play through every single week.
19:39Is there a chance for an upset?
19:40We just had Cam on.
19:42Cam thinks that there's an outright upset winner for the Cleveland Browns over the Pittsburgh Steelers here.
19:47And he's not alone because this was four, four and a half.
19:51Now we're seeing three and a halves available.
19:54So there is an awful lot of belief that, yes, Cleveland, division rival here, DK Metcalf's suspension.
20:03This is a problem.
20:05Not to mention, I believe Calvin Austin is also uncertain with a hamstring injury.
20:10You got Miles Garrett needing one sack to set the single-season record.
20:14You got an immobile Rodgers.
20:16And by the way, six of the Browns' losses this year have been by a touchdown or less.
20:21And half of those have been by four or fewer points.
20:24So this is a very tricky spot for the Steelers.
20:28I get it.
20:28You get more than a field goal with the Browns.
20:31It makes sense.
20:32I understand why the market's heading that way.
20:35Don't look now.
20:36Two rookie quarterbacks playing decent football.
20:38Tyler Shuck's been playing decent football for a month.
20:40Now Cam Ward hoping to turn the corner as well with a victory over the Kansas City Chiefs last week.
20:45Tennessee is going to be home again as underdogs again, which they were against the Chiefs.
20:49This line opened up at two and a half.
20:50Now we're seeing threes and two and a halves in the marketplace, depending on where you're shopping at.
20:55Shuck goes on the road with a total of 38 and a half.
20:58I like what I'm seeing out of Shuck in New Orleans.
21:00I don't know what I'm seeing out of Tennessee, but it has been getting a little bit better.
21:04Will I be betting this game?
21:05Probably not.
21:06But Joe, do you think New Orleans should be a three-point favorite on the road here?
21:09Well, and that's the other reason why you're betting Tennessee, if you don't believe that, right?
21:15But these two teams, Donny, to your point, are combined five and one over the last three weeks.
21:19Yeah.
21:20Both of them started the season three and 21.
21:22And now the Saints, who have looked very good, and I've been saying that they have looked really good.
21:28But it's one thing to look really good when nobody expects you to win.
21:31And it's a whole other thing now where I'm expecting you to win.
21:34They don't run the ball, Donny.
21:36They're asking Tyler Shuck to throw it 50 times a game here.
21:40He's going to be under a little bit of duress.
21:42If Taysom Hills, you're a leading rusher, that's a problem.
21:46But I do think that Tennessee getting points at home may not be a bad look here.
21:53Phenomenal game, Joe.
21:54Sunday night.
21:54We're going to see the Chicago Bears, who all they do is win.
21:57The Cardiac Bears going up against the San Francisco 49ers, who are pasting every team they play,
22:02whether or not it's good or bad competition.
22:03You're going to get good competition and also a favorite here at home for San Francisco
22:07at three points across the board.
22:09The total, Joe, opened up 51 and a half.
22:11We still see 51 and a half in the marketplace.
22:14If I look at the weather conditions out in San Francisco this weekend, it comes up 53 degrees, Joe.
22:19No rain, two mile an hour winds.
22:22As good as you're going to get at this time of the year for a clean slate.
22:25San Francisco looking for that number one seed possibility in the NFC.
22:28And the Chicago Bears also actually fighting for a division championship and the number one seed as well.
22:33Yeah, it's so funny how many people have just not talked about the 49ers and are just shrugging them off like they don't.
22:43It's all been Rams and Seahawks, right?
22:45But if they beat the Bears on Sunday night and then they have a home game against the Seahawks to end the season,
22:52guess what, Donnie?
22:52If they win that game, guess who is your number one seed in the NFC?
22:56It's the 49ers here.
22:59Yeah.
22:59And there's nothing not to like about what's going on here.
23:03I mean, great coach team on both sides of the ball.
23:07But it feels like Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey and company, those wide receivers, Jennings.
23:13This is they are firing on all cylinders right now, the 49ers.
23:17And I don't trust Caleb Williams in a big game on the road.
23:22That would worry me here.
23:24I would take the 49ers.
23:26By the way, you take a look at some of these interesting games in the NFC West.
23:30We just talked about San Francisco and Chicago than previous yet.
23:32Seattle at Carolina also going a couple thousand miles, Joe.
23:36The Rams on the road to take on Atlanta.
23:38Monday night football favored by eight and a half points.
23:41Some interesting road stops for teams out west coming east here, Joe.
23:46Yeah, no, it is.
23:47And listen, we gave the numbers out over the last couple of weeks with Sean McVay in the month of December.
23:54This is when he has his teams rolling.
23:56This is when he has his teams playing the best.
23:58And it was unfortunate last game, to say the least, there with 19 two-point conversions, one in which I have absolutely no idea how any of that was called.
24:08But they have to go on the road and handle business against an Atlanta team.
24:12Donnie, let's be realistic here.
24:14He's got a lot of decisions to make in the offseason.
24:18I kind of like the Rams on a fast track here all day long.
24:22Yeah, Bijan's really good.
24:24It feels like that is.
24:24But also understand this.
24:25Drake London came back last week.
24:27It wasn't a huge difference in that game, but certainly opened up some of the offense in a win for Atlanta.
24:31The one thing you have to know is Atlanta shouldn't be winning football games.
24:34They're out of it.
24:35But you're in self-preservation mode for that coaching staff.
24:38And look, I beat the Rams late.
24:40Raheem Morris goes to Arthur Blank.
24:41We'll see if it's more fool's gold at that point.
24:43But a slate on Christmas Day, not that great.
24:47A fantastic slate on Saturday.
24:49Some really good games on Sunday.
24:50And then you've got the Rams and the Atlanta Falcons on a Monday night slate.
24:54Week 17 bleeds into week 18.
24:57So much goes into this week, Joe, because teams looking for the playoffs pretty much wrapped up.
25:01Playoff seeding completely up in the air across the board.
