00:00Ah, the NFL. News and notes each and every day come out. It's like, man, where did this story come from?
00:04What's going on in this situation? And a lot of times, Joe and Erie, it's just players and coaches saying stupid things
00:10that get picked up by the media because they can't control themselves in a hot moment.
00:14And what do we mean by that? A lot of times, when you stick a microphone in a player's face 15 minutes after a game ends,
00:20you get the raw emotion. They don't have any time to think about it. They don't have any time.
00:23I slept one. You know what? Thought better of it.
00:25Tua Tagovailoa basically came out. I was like, don't look at me. I play quarterback. I make a lot of money.
00:30We have a lot of weapons on offense and defense here, but nobody shows up. Nobody cares. Nobody comes to meetings.
00:35That's the vibe in the building. Now, here is a video of him saying like, oops, maybe I shouldn't have said that.
00:41All right. So, you know, I, as a leader of this team, of the Miami Dolphins, you know, the comments that had been said,
00:52I would say I've, I've made a mistake and I'm owning up to that right now.
00:59You know, I've talked to guys on the team about it, talked to the leaders about it.
01:03And, you know, that they, they know my heart. They know that the intent was right, but no matter the intent,
01:13you know, the intent can be right, but when things get misconstrued or however the media wants to portray it,
01:23you know, that, that leaves a void of, of silence and a lot of questions for the guys on our team.
01:30Quarterback is the face of the franchise. Quarterback cannot get in front of the podium and be like, look,
01:33we are such a mess behind the scenes. You wouldn't believe it. You know what the quarterback is supposed
01:37to say in the back of his mind? We're a mess behind the scenes. Hey, look, everybody's working as hard as
01:41they can. We all like each other. We're meeting. We're doing our best to try to turn this ship around
01:45when the quarterback leaks, what's not supposed to be said. That's when, you know, that team is at a
01:50dead end right now, Joe. When you're a one in five team, that is absolutely hapless here. Then
01:58what is the difference? Like who, you know, being a leader sometimes is listen, you know, while we want
02:05to keep it in house. Well, how has that been working out for the first six games? Donnie, keeping it in
02:10house. It's maybe the worst kept secret in all of the NFL because we've been telling you now since
02:15before the season started, the reports coming out of Davey, Florida about this team is this locker
02:21room is a mess. Like nobody likes one another. There is no clear leadership and it starts from the top
02:27all the way down. None of this is surprising, but you, you know, what makes it all go away
02:33winning football games. And when you're not winning and you're one in five, then yeah, your quarterback
02:38may get to the podium and call you out for not actually showing up at team only meetings.
02:44Really good. Hey, team only meeting team doesn't show up. Not a good sign of leadership there that
02:48we're getting at a two attack of our low. Talk about leadership. Brock Purdy has been on the
02:52field the past couple of weeks with an injury, looking to get back on the field, limited in
02:55practice for the San Francisco 49ers. I guess you could just say the 49ers is a franchise
03:00limited because everybody feels like they're hurt out there.
03:03Yeah, but good news is Kittle is back practicing as well. So it does look like both guys could be
03:10trending. They were hoping to have Ricky Pierce all back this year, but it looks like he won't be ready
03:15to go. He may need one more week, but it's a good sign, Johnny, because it means reinforcements are
03:21coming. And that's a good thing for the 49ers, especially with that schedule.
03:26Yeah. Kittle got in some practice yesterday to one of the better tight ends in the NFL. So maybe the
03:30Calvary is on the way for the 49ers if they don't just keep losing people each and every week.
03:35J.J. McCarthy, look at that, limited in practice here, that high ankle sprain. Carson Wentz banged
03:40up as well, but he got in a full practice yesterday. Still undetermined who's going to be that start
03:44against Philadelphia on Sunday, Joe. Yeah, well, it's not great situation here for Minnesota, but once
03:51again, it is a team this year that was going to have some growing pains with J.J. McCarthy.
03:56It has to be led by the defense. The defense has to give the offense an opportunity to figure
04:03things out. And I think they will. I think they are a value team and a bet on team moving forward
04:08here, Donnie. By the way, Aaron Glenn says he doesn't want Bryce, Bryce Hall to be traded here.
04:13Let me understand this though. Like Bryce Hall is a young running back here. One of your final
04:18talented players on offense. If you are looking to like, what did you just fire the head coach
04:23and move everybody to that point? Like what would be the point of trading him? And also you're not
04:28getting a first round draft pick back from the guy. Are you just looking to end the season tomorrow?
04:33Like what are the Jets even thinking about? It's like anything else here, Donnie, right? At some point
04:38they're going to have to pay their running back or not pay him. So that's going to, you know,
04:44the thing with running backs in that position is unless you're Saquon and, you know, being on a
04:50dysfunctional team here, like the New York Jets, you try to get what you can when you can at the top
04:57of the market right now for him, because otherwise it's not going to end well with him in the New York
05:02Jets organization. Jets, don't understand for a jet in the sky. Jets is just end the season. It looks
05:08like the Jets fans are looking to end the season already. But by the way, am I wrong for looking at
05:12that Carolina Jets game? Be fully intrigued on that Jets offense this weekend. I'm crazy, man. I'm crazy
05:18like that. I just might take a team total to the over on the Jets. We'll be right back on the early
05:21line. Yeah, the NFL coaching carousel. A couple more guys could be playing on that carousel,
05:26maybe getting knocked off sooner than later. This weekend, we had the New England Patriots
05:30taking on the Tennessee Titans. Drake May versus Cam Ward, seven-point favorite here for New England.
05:35But Vrabel's here talking about calling Brian Callahan, who maybe can call Brian Callahan and
05:39just say, hey, man, drop off that playbook. Help a brother out at this point. Let's check out what Mike
05:43Vrabel had to say. Is it true that you reached out to Brian Callahan? Is that true? Yeah, sure.
05:48Of course it is. I mean, I don't want to see anybody that shares a job with you. I mean, get let go.
05:55That's not that, you know, that's a tough feeling, you know, with family and school and, you know,
06:01whether it's in college or pro, like we're in the media every single day. And there's a human element
06:07to this and that I don't want to forget. I just remember all those coaches that were people that
06:14reached out after I was let go. And, you know, I think that that's important because nobody texts
06:21when you lose and they don't text when you win. So it's a good reminder. Two guys fired by the
06:27Tennessee Titans. Wonder what they were talking about on that phone call too. Could it be the
06:30ownership group there, Joe? What do you think? Yeah, I mean, it's a tough situation for Allen and
06:37I get it. And listen, you got to walk a mile in a dude's shoes, right? I mean, Vrabel, you know,
06:42what he showed you there is a little sympathy because he was in that CD and he understands
06:46what it is to work for that organization and that owner. So yeah, I mean, kudos and what goes
06:52around, come around. The only difference I would say is that the minute Vrabel was fired, Donnie,
06:56I think we all knew he was going to be unemployed for 30 seconds. Not sure that Callahan's going to
07:01get another head coaching job anytime soon. By the way, sometimes you could see this coming down
07:06the line. Like there are coaches, don't get me wrong, that's surprised that you're not really
07:09household names. But when Callahan got that job for the Titans, and if you would ask just your casual
07:14NFL fan outside of Tennessee, who coaches the Titans, like nobody knows that. Like it's hard to
07:20sometimes like who's a baseball manager, you know, a hockey, you know, head coach at that point.
07:24But when you look at the NFL, most people know just about every single head coach.
07:28That was one of those where I don't think most people could have said who the head coach
07:31of the Titans was. And I guess they were right because that team absolutely flat out stumped.
07:36Now, the battle of the youngs tonight, Joe, you want to flip the page here, Thursday night football,
07:40Pittsburgh and Cincinnati, Flacco versus Rogers, line sitting at five and a half and a total of 44 and a
07:46half. I want to ask you this question. The Pittsburgh team last week that we saw going up against
07:50Cleveland, they had a victory there, lower scoring game, but the field was
07:53absolutely terrible. Now we're not gonna have a terrible field in Cincinnati. Does that play into
07:58your mind where maybe we get some scoring into this game? We'll start here. How do you feel about
08:02the total in this game, Joe? I need to know if Hendrickson, who last night was still questionable,
08:08is playing in this game here for Cincinnati tonight. Because I can tell you, having watched that game
08:15a week ago with Cincinnati, the minute that he went down, Donnie, everything changed for the Bengals on
08:23that defensive side of the ball. So and they still I mean, they fought they had an opportunity still in
08:29that game there to make things really, really uncomfortable for the Packers on the road. But
08:35the minute he went down, they kind of let him off the hook. If he goes tonight, Donnie, I this could very
08:41well be one of those rock fights for sure. But again, Mike Tomlin and the Steelers, the games
08:48they're supposed to win. They don't always cover Donnie, always. Yeah, here's the issue I'm having
08:54with this game tonight, because of course, we probably think Pittsburgh is the better team,
08:57better record since then he really hasn't shown up since the first two games. Joe Flacco is a
09:00quarterback. The one thing Flacco doesn't do well is move around the pocket. Pittsburgh is gonna be
09:04able to get after him. There's no question about that. Not a great offensive line. That should be a big
09:08edge for the Pittsburgh Steelers. But when we flip it over to the other side, if Hendrickson is down,
09:12you should be able to move the football at ease. But again, not one player doesn't make a football
09:16team and wreck an offensive game plan if he's not out there. But I just see the Pittsburgh Steelers
09:21like DK Metcalf is a really good wide receiver. But when I think Pittsburgh offense, I don't think
09:25explosive offense anymore. I think Aaron Rodgers moving the football down the field short passes here,
09:30maybe taking some shots deep to see if you can get a penalty and or a big play. So I look at that 44 and a
09:34half on a Thursday night show. I'm thinking under in this game. And not because we don't have the
09:38weapons. But I just think the style of play tonight on the Thursday night isn't explosiveness. Because
09:43as I said, like Flacco doesn't move around well, they have no running game. Pittsburgh knows that they're
09:47gonna pin their ears back and come after that statue in the backfield. And Aaron Rodgers, he
09:51understands this as well. This is a football game. We're just looking to win and get out of here. We don't
09:55need style points and dropping 45 points in this game. I lean towards the under in this one. I do.
09:59The problem that I have here with this total, Donnie, is that if you look at Pittsburgh,
10:05now they're scoring mid 20s on a regular basis with Aaron Rodgers now. So you've got to ask
10:12yourself, all right, if they just maintain right, we're going to get 2427 points from Pittsburgh in
10:17this game. Do we believe Cincinnati can add enough to get this thing to the over? Because I believe
10:24listen, there's no reason for us to think Pittsburgh won't get its customary 24 points here. Donnie,
10:29that's what they've been doing now consistently with Aaron Rodgers. Okay, is Flacco going to match
10:35them? He's obviously, if we think he's going to be playing from behind, we know what the game plan
10:40is going to be. Same thing it was in Green Bay last week. Get the ball out, get it in the hands of
10:45some of the best weapons in the NFL, and let's see what happens from there. I will say this,
10:50it's the healthiest Steelers defense has been all year. All their guys, Donnie, in that back,
10:56certainly in that secondary, seem to be back for this game here tonight.
11:00Yeah, it's going to be a matter of can Flacco get the football out? Because you're right,
11:03like that secondary, you know, healthy again, the pass rush healthy again, that's going to be a
11:07deterrence. But also I see that it's like, well, Donnie, 238 and a half is the passing prop here
11:11for Joe Flacco. Understand this. I think they lose. They're going to be passing the football.
11:15I don't think they could run the football. So I do think they're going to be throwing all over the
11:18lot where you could see Flacco throw 42, 43 plus times tonight in this football game, just to try to keep
11:23it close. But in order for him to do that, that defense does have to come up with stops. Because the one thing we know
11:28is Aaron Rodgers is really happy with going three plays for every first down. And next thing you know,
11:32there's an eight and a half minute drive that ends in a field goal. And that not only could hurt your
11:36Joe Flacco statistics, but also if you're betting the over in this football game, passing touchdowns
11:40listed between the two here, both at one and a half, one at plus money price, which is Joe Flacco
11:45plus 152. But Aaron Rodgers over one and a half at a minus 130 price. I do think the Steelers move
11:50the football. I do think the Steelers win. I just need to see if you can get that counter punch here
11:54out of Flacco and the Bengals. That's the issue for me. That touchdown market, Joe, that's something
12:00we always like to play, right? The only guy with juice, Jalen Warren, everybody else's plus money.
12:05How are we thinking about the touchdown market, Joe? Well, I, again, we saw it last week in Green
12:11Bay with Cincinnati, right? They're going to get the ball to Jamar. They're going to it. And it just
12:16keep throwing it to Jamar. He's going to get open. They, they will concede that there. And I think the
12:22other interesting thing we saw last night is they did go out of their way to get Chase Brown involved
12:28and try to get some, some running. Now he didn't, you know, he didn't torch him for over a hundred yards,
12:32but you're not going to do that on the road against the Green Bay defense. But I think if
12:37they can establish some running here, they'll, it'll open other things up for Chase and Higgins.
12:43So if it ain't broke, it's the one guy can guarantee they're going to give enough opportunities
12:48to get in the end zone. And that is Jamar Chase. You know, it's a good point you bring out here.
12:52If I look at the Steelers side of things, so we just went over the touchdown props on the
12:55quarterbacks to throw, right? Plus money on Joe Flacco. So the chances of him throwing multiple
12:59touchdowns, not according to the odds makers, but we look at just said you there on the other side
13:04with Aaron Rogers over one and a half touchdown passes is minus money. So you're figuring he's
13:08probably has a good chance to throw too. Look at some of the pass catchers with their money here,
13:11Joe DK Metcalf plus one 50, not a bad price is the top wide out Darnell Washington, a huge target in
13:17the red zone plus three 60 Pat Fryer with another tight end plus 700. Somebody's got to catch those
13:22anticipated two touchdowns. That's the marketplace I'd be looking for towards the Steelers
13:26pass catchers here, but yards themselves, Jamar Chase, 73 and a half T Higgins, 46 and a half DK
13:32Metcalf, 64 and a half. Joe, any thoughts on the receiving props for either one of these two teams?
13:39Yeah, the receiving props are going to be interesting because Metcalf also going to have
13:43his opportunities. I believe with Aaron Rogers going to look to get him the ball and, uh, and Jamar
13:49Chase. And I think if you believe that this is going to be a higher scoring game, that's where
13:54you want to focus right on those two guys, Donnie. But if you think it's going to be a lower scoring
13:59game, I think maybe the running backs are the better place to look in this one. Could be at that
14:04point too. And also John who Smith, like how many tight ends we rolled into this game with here for
14:08the, you know, Pittsburgh Steelers at this point should be a good game, but this will tell you a lot
14:12too. Pittsburgh is supposed to win this game and they can keep winning boy. That makes it so much
14:17harder on the Baltimore Ravens on their bi-week to even look at a playoff spot, let alone trying to win
14:21that division here. That's something also to take a look at as well. Let's get you ready for the NFL.
14:26It's a big weekend here across all sports landscapes here. We love the NHL. We're talking
14:30about that, having a lot of fun. Cam Stewart's going to come up in a little bit. You know,
14:33we're going to get some hockey talk in major league baseball doubleheader and hour number one.
14:37We recap both of those games tonight, best bets on the way. Some are going to deal with that
14:41world series capability team and the Los Angeles Dodgers, or would it be maybe the Mariners
14:46end or Toronto that ends up in the world series? We'll certainly find out that,
14:49but let's get to the NFL 930 AM start overseas in London. That's the home of the Jacksonville
14:55Jaguars here. The Rams with Stafford, the Jaguars with Lawrence. Look at this line. Minus three is
15:02a favorite neutral site towards the Rams, a total of 44 and a half. The injury that I'm keeping my eye
15:07on most on this one is Puka Nakua, who logged a did not practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury.
15:13If he's healthy and ready to go for that game, that's going to be a big deal. If he's hobbled for that
15:18game or doesn't start, that's also a big deal. Could we see an upset and a mild one from the
15:23Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday morning? We could. I don't know that we will in this spot here, but
15:32I, you know, the Nakua injury is definitely something worth keeping an eye on here. But I do
15:38think that the Rams, even without him, certainly have enough offensively as well as defensively to
15:44take advantage of some of the issues here with Jacksonville. And I've been saying it now for
15:49two weeks, Donnie, with this Jacksonville team. I think they're a bit of a paper tiger here.
15:53I think that when the team is getting three or four turnovers a game, like they did through the
16:00first four or five games of the season, including against Kansas City, you know what happened last
16:06week in that loss? They didn't get a turnover. And when that happens, yeah, they have a difficult
16:13time, I think, putting teams away. I don't know that Stafford and company are going to be just
16:18turning the ball over as easily as it has been for this Jags defense. I think the Rams win this game.
16:26Hey, the Rams. We'll keep in mind, we'll see how these get the practice reports certainly come out,
16:30but the early game, not a bad one. Like two teams that actually should have a good football game
16:33overseas. Maybe we'll get one of those. Philadelphia and Minnesota are going to tee it up. This is a good
16:37one. It looks like it's probably going to be Carson Wentz that gets the start. Carson Wentz used to play
16:41for the Eagles, hasn't played against the Eagles in a game. Now he's going to do that. The Eagles
16:45are a favorite here, listed between two and a half and one and a half, depending on where you're
16:49shopping at, and a total of around 43 and a half. Now, early in the week, I have no support here,
16:54no love right now for the Philadelphia Eagles. They were absolutely atrocious against the New York
16:58Giants, and they got injured. But the more I start to think about this game, Joe, I look at
17:01Minnesota. I don't really like their team that much. They give up a lot of rushing yards on the ground,
17:05but also understand this. The Eagles were injured against the New York Giants, and I'm figuring that
17:09Quinion Mitchell's probably not going to play. That's devastating news when you get to take on
17:13Justin Jefferson here. But Quinion Mitchell actually practiced in a limited capacity
17:17yesterday on Wednesday. Something to keep an eye on. Also understand this. Jalen Carter,
17:21one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL, did not play against the Giants. He logged a full
17:26practice yesterday. And more importantly, if you want the Eagles running game to get ongoing,
17:30the guard center guard position has to improve. You know, you get that? Landon Dickerson back in the
17:34lineup. He practiced yesterday in a limited capacity. Keep an eye on that. For me as an Eagles fan,
17:39dead in the water, the fast two days. On Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday, starting to get a little
17:43bit more hope. And we'll see what happens this weekend. Do I love the Eagles in this spot? No,
17:47I don't. But if you can get Quinion Mitchell in this game, that's a massive year. Because otherwise,
17:52JJ's torching that secondary. Yeah, and it's not a great spot for him, Donnie, because the Eagles are
17:59in the middle of a divisional sandwich spot here, because they just played the Giants last Thursday.
18:04And then they're going to play him again here in week eight next week. So now they've got Minnesota
18:10sandwiched in between here. So it's a tough situation for the Eagles. Minnesota has been
18:17pretty good at home here with Kevin O'Connell, not to mention coming off a bye, having an opportunity to
18:23be able to straighten some things out. But this game to me is all about defenses, right? Which defense
18:29gets the turnovers, which defense shows up and shows out? It's hard to trust Philadelphia's offense,
18:35Donnie, in this spot here. But it feels like Minnesota, if I can get them at two, two and a half, Donnie,
18:42am I not using them in a teaser in this week here? It feels like I should be.
18:48Yeah, it's a fun one here for Philadelphia fans, because Wentz will be the quarterback. It looks like
18:52he's trending that direction. So at least you can keep your eye on that. And by the way, the Eagles aren't
18:56playing good football right now. If they lose to the Giants, which they were so bad last week,
18:59and then lose to Carson Wentz or the Vikings, they might have to take that Super Bowl trophy
19:03down in the background for a little bit from last year here. Disrespectful here. How about this next
19:08game? Could we get disrespect? The Kansas City Chiefs, double-digit favorites. What? And a total
19:1345 and a half? Is it going to be that easy, Joe? Is this 34 to 14? What are we looking at?
19:19Yeah, there's a lot of different ways I think we can play this one. Number one,
19:23Geno Smith again. The old Geno Smith playing quality teams versus not quality teams here.
19:30Yeah, I think the Chiefs are getting rice back. They've lost three games at this point, Donnie.
19:35They have no intention of losing anymore moving forward here. I think it's blowout.
19:40Oh, Max Crosby, not going to like to hear you say that, Joe Ranieri. We'll be back after the break
19:44with much more NFL talk next. Joe, we had a graphic up earlier this week, dealt with the Indianapolis
19:49Colts. If the season ended today, guess who's the number one seed in the AFC? It is the Indianapolis
19:55Colts. You're going to road to take on the Chargers. You had to come back to knock off the
19:59Miami Dolphins, but maybe some help with the wide receiver position and also defensive end position
20:04for the Chargers this week. The Chargers are actually the favorites, Joe, at home at minus one
20:09and a half and a total of 48 and a half. Are we rolling with the Steichen crew or is Harbaugh and the
20:14boys at home with maybe getting some help back at wide receiver? Hint Johnston could help them out
20:20there. Yeah. Well, I mean, it's their second. Now the Colts, I played their second road game in LA.
20:27They lost in week. What was it? Four to the Rams, right? So they've done pretty good at home and on
20:34the road has been the only bugaboo that we have seen from them here. The Chargers to me worry about,
20:39it's about the running game and protecting Herbert, right? That's the big issue here is because
20:46it apparently had shown that Daniel Jones should not have any issue and the Colts scoring because
20:53well, they don't have a problem scoring on anybody anymore. So I'm wondering if the Chargers and
20:58Harbaugh are going to be able to slow this game down here and kind of suffocate Daniel Jones to the
21:04point where, yeah, you can't come back here. Not like you did last week at home to Arizona,
21:09wouldn't shock me if the Chargers win this game, because I do think there are limitations to this
21:15Colts team here. How about more suffocation on defense? One of the teams that creates a lot of
21:20havoc, as I like to say, is the Denver Broncos defense. They're going to take on the Giants at
21:23home in Denver and seven point favorites. The total most outlets showing 40 and a half right now.
21:29Jackson Dart, a lot of heart last week against the Philadelphia Eagles were down in the dumps and
21:33they pounded them here. Did the Giants have an opportunity to beat the Denver Broncos? But for me,
21:37this game really does scream to the under because I think that Denver defense is really going to be
21:41on point in this one. Joe, give me the under in this game. What are you thinking?
21:45Team total under too. No, I mean, but you know, Sean Payton, 22 and eight against the number
21:50when his team scores little points like that. So he does a really good job of taking advantage of it.
21:58This is time. And this is going to be Jackson Dart's first trip to Denver. Not an easy place to play.
22:04And we all know he's done a pretty good job there with Bo Nix at home in these spots. I think
22:10advantage Denver for sure in this one. We're going to get some windy opportunity this weekend,
22:15Joe. We talked about, you know, Cleveland's game, probably going to have 20 mile an hour
22:18sustained wind to the windy city. Chicago going to be close to that as well. Dome team going outdoors
22:22in the New Orleans Saints, taking on the Chicago Bears fresh off their Monday night victory
22:26against the commanders. You look at the line across the board. It's five and a half at most outlets
22:31here now dropping to five at some places and a total of 46 and a half. The Bears are the better
22:35team, but the Bears playing as a favorite closer to a touchdown. Can we trust them?
22:42Yeah. And we've seen the total in this game get bet up all week too here, Donnie. 46 and a half,
22:4747 and a half. I am not expecting some sort of wild shootout in this one and give New Orleans credit,
22:54Donnie. They are a top five defense against the run, which means you're not going to have a whole lot
23:00of success like it did last week running the ball. But you're going to have to have Caleb
23:05Williams throw the ball here. We all know that gets a little dangerous. So I tend to lean to the
23:11under. I think this is a little more of a rock fight than some sort of high scoring shootout type
23:16of game here in Chicago. How about a rock fight coming up here between Carolina and the New York
23:21Jets? Now here we got Aaron Glenn talking about Fields throwing the football. What?
23:25I think you said after the game, you'd like to see him give guys a chance.
23:29Do you think he maybe needs to take a few more chances in terms of it? It's not wide open.
23:36Yeah. Let's try 50-50 ball. Let's try to give Garrett a chance.
23:39Yeah. Here's what I do know is, and you're right, you know, and I've said that and I still believe
23:45that. And I think that's for any quarterback, especially when you have a man covered to give
23:49a guy a chance. But I do know if something bad happens, you guys are going to be bitching about
23:53that about him, you know? So the thing is, he's just got to go out there and play quarterback and
23:57do the best that he can. And, but I don't get, I don't come off that at all. You know, when you're
24:01in man coverage, I mean, you got to give a guy the chance to go catch the ball.
24:06Let's see. Now down his best wide receiver, which is basically their only wide receiver.
24:11And now we see what Justin Fields has. And you said it, Joe, the Jets opened up as a favorite
24:16against Carolina. Come on now. Yeah. Well, not anymore. Right. And here's the other problem
24:22now that you have. You're in uncharted territory because the Panthers have not won or covered
24:27a game, Donnie, in the regular season in which they have been closed as a favorite since 2021.
24:35It's been four years since they've won a game as a favorite in this organization here. They've
24:41lost 10 straight as a favorite. Unless, of course, you want to consider the fact they beat
24:47Davis Mills, Zach Wilson, and Dwayne Haskins since 2020. Those are the only three they
24:53have covered as a favorite. I'd say it was tough too, watching that interview there with
24:58Aaron Glenn behind, like the graphics weren't even working on the board that was changing
25:01behind them. Just tough. I mean, Jets, get it together, man. From your tech guys to the head
25:05coach to the quarterbacks, things just aren't working out in their favor. How about Green Bay
25:09and Arizona here? We got Jonathan Gannon talking about, take the emotion out of this bad boy.
25:14What is he talking about? Coach, how early in your career did you have to start trying
25:22to figure out how to take the emotion out of coaching as far as when you have all these
25:27injuries and you have all these different pieces? When's the first time that you can
25:32recall that? 2007 when our quarterback went to jail. Coach, thank you. What? Now, hold on.
25:43We need some context on that. So 2007 when his quarterback went to jail, which would have been,
25:48I guess, Michael Vick was kind of coaching with the Falcons at that point. Like, what are we
25:52talking about? It would have been Vick, right? It would have been Michael Vick at that particular
25:57time. But Mike, like what a answer that was here. And then a mic drop, no less, and then just runs
26:03out. That didn't seem emotional at all, Donnie, though. I'm glad the question was about him taking
26:09the emotion out of it. And he drops that and then walks out of the room. So this is another
26:14organization on the brink of blowing it up and starting from scratch.
26:18Yeah, where's Cliff Kingsbury when you need you out there in Arizona? Oops, that's right. That
26:22didn't work out. But by the way, Green Bay is favored by six and a half points heading out to
26:25the desert. Green Bay with a victory last week over Cincinnati. We don't know the quarterback is
26:30going to be for Arizona, but Brazette did look decent last week. But come on now, is that going to
26:34continue this weekend? Stop. Well, it really doesn't. I mean, whether he plays or doesn't
26:39play, we know Arizona is going to be a dog here. But the problem is that, you know, have we seen
26:46the best version of Green Bay as of late here? I mean, they have outside of that opening win against
26:52Detroit, Donnie. There's really not been a whole lot impressive about this team. It feels like they're
26:58still trying to figure some things out here. So don't like laying that kind of number with a
27:04road team, no matter what. And if Kyler goes, maybe he'll have just enough juice in order to be able
27:11to to be angry enough to get him. Can't trust them long, but maybe Cardinals early in the game might
27:17not be a bad look. Jacob should be able to run wild, but also understand there's Christian Watson
27:21working his way back practice last week when his practice window was opened after the knee injury
27:25last year. Probably going to get more practice this week. Maybe a little bit of help, more help on the
27:28horizon at the wide receiver position. Certainly something to track there. I'll tell you who needs some
27:32help with the wide receiver position. It's Dallas Pickens has been really good. CD could be back
27:37this weekend and a total of close to 55 at some outlets, but a favorite towards Washington on the
27:42road. Entertaining game. This should be one of them. So the highest total that this series has ever
27:51seen, Donnie is 53. Uh, already at what 54 and a half 55 here. So this is going to be extremely
28:00interesting. And by the way, the Cowboys have covered the spread in seven of the last eight
28:06against the commanders, including four straight at home. Uh, so this is, uh, this is going to be an
28:13interesting spot. We talked about it. I love Dak Prescott. He's 10 and three against the number
28:17versus Washington in his career. He is a guy that handles the NFC East. He has problems against
28:24everybody else. I don't think he has a problem beating Washington in this one.
28:29Yeah. Atlanta and San Francisco. Bijan going on the road, catching about two, two and a half points
28:34here. We're not sure where the quarterback's going to be for San Francisco, maybe trending
28:37towards having Brock Purdy and middle back in the lineup, Joe. How about this one? A little NFC battle.
28:42Yeah. It's again, health-wise here are the 49ers. Do they have Kittleback? Is Purdy definitely going
28:50in this one? Uh, I'm sorry. I am not buying Atlanta here. Not yet anyway. So I think I would go with the
28:58home team in this one. By the way, growing up as a kid, the Falcons in the NFC West, along with these
29:03New Orleans Saints, that didn't make any sense, man. Sometimes you're wacky.
