00:00Let's get over to the Meadowlands on a Sunday afternoon.
00:03It could be blustery at MetLife because the Green Bay Packers in town,
00:06fresh off of a beatdown from the Philadelphia Eagles.
00:09Well, if you call it a beatdown, it was close.
00:10But also the week before that, they lost to Carolina.
00:12Can they lose three games in a row?
00:14Jameis Winston will be in their way.
00:15A touchdown favorite for Green Bay on the road in a total that's sinking from 45.5 to 42.5.
00:21Jameis Winston gets the start for the Giants.
00:23What's your spread line here, Joe?
00:24All right, so here's what you need to know about the whole fired head coach bounce thing here with Dable, right?
00:32We know Kafka's turn, and we're starting to learn a whole lot more, by the way,
00:35on just the total dysfunction with Dable in that building here.
00:39But first games with an interim head coach, Donnie, 16-7 against the number over the last 10 years.
00:47Why?
00:48Because it gives teams an opportunity for a reset in the locker room here.
00:52And I think we can all agree that maybe Jameis Winston, quietly in that locker room,
00:59was the one guy that we all knew was maybe the best passer on the team,
01:04and not taking anything away from Jackson Dart, but he's a rookie here.
01:08So we knew that he was going to be able to get under center at some point.
01:12He could probably push the ball downfield.
01:14And I think that's exactly what's going to happen.
01:16And by the way, that's why there's no more hook available in this.
01:19It's why this line isn't going to continue to rise.
01:22If anything, Donnie, this line is going to continue to go towards the Giants.
01:28Do not trust Green Bay, who have now gone back-to-back, Donnie, at home as big favorites
01:34and weren't able to get the job done.
01:36They were upset.
01:37Not a good spot for Green Bay.
01:38The Green Bay Packers sort of seeing their season slip away.
01:43You took two NFC losses back-to-back.
01:45One to the Panthers, which was inexcusable, and one to a pretty good team in the Philadelphia Eagles.
01:49It was a close game.
01:49You just couldn't get it done.
01:51The one thing that was the constant, Joe, in both of those games was not the Packers' defense.
01:55They were very good.
01:56It's the Packers' offense.
01:57It's been MIA.
01:58Now, they're going to take on a team in the New York Giants that isn't very good on defense,
02:01but it is a road game here, and it is in the Meadowlands, which we know is going to have
02:05cooler temperatures and windy, blustery conditions on Sunday.
02:09Surely not going to help Jordan Love, but at the same time, you're supposed to easily dispatch
02:13of the Giants.
02:14But the Giants added a little bit of life to their locker room here by announcing Jameis Winston
02:18who's going to be the starting quarterback.
02:20Now, understand this.
02:21As a wide receiver and the way you play in the rest of your team, if you are the Jets,
02:25he said, Donnie, why are you talking about the Jets right now?
02:26We're talking about the Giants.
02:27Hear me out on this, Joe.
02:28When the Jets play and their quarterback is Justin Fields, the wideouts go, I'm doing cardio
02:33for three hours.
02:35And oh my goodness, I didn't even expect the ball to come to me.
02:37It was actually a good pass, but I wasn't ready for it here.
02:39That's not the case now.
02:40The Giants are like, you know what?
02:42Wide receivers, we're getting the football this weekend.
02:44This is going to be fun.
02:45Joe, seven points spread here, Green Bay the favorite on the road against the Giants.
02:49What are we doing with this when you're with Jameis back?
02:52Yeah, listen, I mean, I think we can all agree that a lot of us, and I bet a whole lot of
02:58them in the locker room probably suspected that the best passer on that team in that locker room
03:05was Jameis.
03:06And he couldn't even sniff the field there with Dable, who feels like he was always coaching
03:12for his life and for his job there.
03:15But Winston, right guy at the right time here is what it feels like.
03:20And as far as the offense goes for Green Bay, I mean, who's he throwing the ball to, Jordan
03:26Love here?
03:27Golden couldn't suit up last game.
03:29Who knows if he's going to be in now?
03:31We already know Tucker Craft was the only guy that could get any separation and get open
03:35in the receiving room there.
03:39Christian Wanson, D'Antonion Wick, Samuel Williams.
03:42I mean, what?
03:44What did they have?
03:44I mean, Jaden Reed's still out because of a foot injury.
03:49Who are they throwing the ball to and who exactly is going to get open for them?
03:54That is why back-to-back weeks at home, Donnie, they were favorites and they lost both outright.
04:01So, not a good situation right now for the Packers offensively.
04:06No, it's not.
04:07And Christian Watson, who, again, they said, don't worry about it.
04:09He's only on the injury report because he's sore at this point.
04:11You ever watch that movie, Unbreakable?
04:13It was like, I don't know, maybe probably 20, 25 years ago, Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson.
04:17Samuel L. Jackson played a guy called Mr. Glass in that, where every time he got touched,
04:22something broke in his body.
04:23It's a shame because that dude's got some wheels out there.
04:25Just can't stay healthy.
04:26I have my eye on this game because I'm interested to see what the Packers actually will do.
04:30Now, every game, Joe, as we talk about, not built like the other ones.
04:33And yes, we have to talk about this one.
04:35The Houston Texans on the road to take on the Tennessee Titans.
04:38Davis Mills will get another start because C.J. Stroud, not going to rush him back from a concussion
04:42and you still should win this football game.
04:44Improbable comeback last week.
04:46Sort of a season saver there for Houston against Jacksonville.
04:49Now they get what's supposed to be a layup on the road against a rested Titans team, Joe.
04:53Five and a half to six is in the marketplace.
04:55How do we feel about this game?
04:58I feel like throwing up, thinking about watching this game, Donnie, is what I do.
05:03Yeah, listen, this is, all right, Tennessee, we know, very much like the New York Jets,
05:09just not a ton of talent.
05:12They're kind of in transition.
05:14They do have their franchise quarterback, but they got to get a new coach.
05:18There's going to be a new regime coming in.
05:20There's a lot of question marks surrounding this team,
05:23but they're just not good enough offensively.
05:26But neither is Houston.
05:27But Houston does have the better defense on the field.
05:31I don't know how we're going to get 40 points in this game or 38 points or more in this game, Donnie.
05:37It feels like when you have two teams like this struggling offensively,
05:42the team totals or the unders are the only way that I would look.
05:45Because otherwise, good luck trying to figure out who's going to score enough points in order to win this game.
05:50Yeah, some of these games I really like on Sunday afternoon.
05:53Some of them I don't, which also includes this next game, Carolina and Atlanta.
05:57How much energy is going to be in the building in Atlanta?
06:00Two teams, not great football last week, to say the least, and not great football in the season overall.
06:0542.5 as the total.
06:06The favorite, though, is Atlanta at home, minus 3.5.
06:10Pennix has to play better football.
06:11It also comes down to, it just can't be, well, my only wideout is Drake London,
06:15and my only opportunity to run the football might be with BJ at this point right now.
06:18Something has to break.
06:19The better team is Atlanta, but do you even trust them as a favorite at all?
06:24No, but I do trust Carolina as an underdog.
06:27I don't trust Carolina as a favorite.
06:29Obviously, we saw that last week against New Orleans here.
06:34But, yeah, call me crazy here.
06:37I think this situation plays right into Carolina's hands.
06:41This is how they perform.
06:43They love being the underdog in this situation.
06:46They are coming off a horrible offensive performance.
06:50They have an offensive-minded head coach.
06:53Yeah, I think Atlanta could be in trouble here in this spot.
06:58I would absolutely grab the hook, Donnie, while it's available here,
07:02because I don't see it growing to 4, 4.5.
07:05I think it will only go the other way.
07:08It feels like elimination time in college football each and every week now.
07:11We sort of weed the good teams out versus the bad teams.
07:13Who's going to make the college football playoff?
07:15How's that vibe between Chicago and Minnesota, at least for the NFC North Division?
07:19Caleb Williams going on the road after a comeback victory against the New York Giants.
07:23Minnesota looking to bounce back from that loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
07:26This line has stayed steady, Joe, all week.
07:28Opened up at 2.5.
07:29Still sits at 2.5 just about at every outlet here.
07:32And then we take a look at 46.5 to around 47.5, depending where he's shopping at.
07:36And even now 48.5 in the marketplace here.
07:40Chicago, Minnesota, don't have to worry about any windy or cold conditions.
07:43They'll be in the Dome.
07:44What do we feel about this game?
07:46Yeah, this is an interesting one here, Donnie.
07:48And talking to a lot of people this week, everybody is on Minnesota.
07:55I mean, my goodness.
07:56The problem is, J.J. McCarthy has not been good here.
08:02And he certainly hasn't been good as what the Vikings had hoped that he would be here.
08:07Because he's not throwing the ball down the field, especially with the receivers he has.
08:13I mean, he's kind of dinking and dunking his way down the road.
08:17And I can't believe I'm going to say that.
08:18But Caleb Williams has been the guy that's been pushing the ball down the field.
08:23And he hasn't been that bad at it.
08:25So, yeah, I am not sold that it's just back Minnesota.
08:29They're going to get it done here.
08:31Far too many people think Minnesota is the right side here.
08:35And yet the numbers tell me the Bears could very well be the outright winner of this game.
08:40This one sounds like a pretty good public opinion right now.
08:43The Los Angeles Charge is going to fly from the West Coast to the East Coast to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in Florida.
08:49The Jags having a 29-10 lead in the fourth quarter loss to the Houston Texans here.
08:54And the Chargers cleaned up the Pittsburgh Steelers in prime time.
08:58This line opened up at two and a half threes, depending on where you're shopping at.
09:01Still sitting there, Joe.
09:02Mostly threes across the board and a total 43 and a half.
09:05But I'm seeing seven out of every ten tickets here coming in on the Chargers here.
09:09The Chargers are the flashier team.
09:11And Jacksonville's not healthy at wide receiver.
09:13But this line really isn't going anywhere, Joe.
09:16Yeah.
09:17And it's because Jacksonville's getting a little bit of love here.
09:20And I kind of agree with it.
09:22I mean, listen, the Chargers, I've never seen it.
09:25I mean, Justin Herbert held on to the ball.
09:28You ready for this?
09:29For just 2.21 seconds every time he threw the ball against the Steelers.
09:33That is the fastest of his career, Donnie.
09:37Obviously, with a shorthanded offensive line, that is completely handicapping what this team
09:44would like to do.
09:45They can't run the ball and they can't trust Herbert to go back there to try to take any
09:49shots downfield because they know he's going to get absolutely killed.
09:52And Jacksonville's got a couple of good edge rushers there in Josh Hines Allen and Trayvon
09:57Walker who are wrecking havoc right now on offensive lines.
10:02What are they going to do to the two backup tackles on this team?
10:05This is a very dangerous spot here for the Chargers.
10:09It is.
10:10But you take a look at the Dome teams going outdoors.
10:12And a lot of times we'll talk about that when it's colder conditions, which you'll see like
10:15Sunday night in Philadelphia, a little bit of wind here, Detroit playing in a Dome.
10:18But when you take a look at the Chargers coming East Coast, Joe, 75 degree temperatures,
10:22no rain in the forecast, you know, winds around 10 miles per hour.
10:24That could help out.
10:25The Chargers are a tough team to gauge, Joe, because the one thing we know about betting
10:29football and watching football teams and how they succeed, you got to win in the trenches.
10:32Their D-line and the defense, very good for the Chargers.
10:34But the offensive line, sometimes you say, why isn't this offense working here?
10:38Well, if you get pressure against a really bad offensive line, it's hard to have your
10:42offense run.
10:42And that's some of the issues that the Chargers will run into this weekend.
10:45But again, public favorites here on the Chargers.
10:47No surprise.
10:48Everybody saw them do very well in prime time.
10:50Oh no, look how bad the Jacksonville Jaguars are.
10:52We understand how that works out.
10:54Now, Tom Vecchio is going to come up next.
10:56We'll be over some prop bets that you should be paying attention to this weekend in NFL action.
11:01Big games, big money.
11:03It's a football Friday here on the Sports Grid Network.
11:06I'm Donnie Wrightsat.
11:07He's Joe Neary.
11:07Now we bring in our guy, Tom Vecchio here for a big weekend of information.
11:12Specifically, Tom, on a football Friday, we want to talk some NFL.
11:15How are we feeling today?
11:16I'm feeling good.
11:17You know, it was a good game last night.
11:19A little bit better than I was anticipating.
11:21I think a lot of people were anticipating.
11:24Really great week in the NFL.
11:26A lot of close games.
11:27There's some heavy favorites out there, but we have a lot of close games that are toss-ups.
11:30A lot of playoff-bound teams that are facing each other.
11:32I think we're in for an awesome week.
11:34Absolutely.
11:35And also, we are, Tom, in mid-November, which means it used to be like September and October.
11:39Like, I'm going to check to see if it's rainy because otherwise it's 75 degrees.
11:43It's nice weather and you move on.
11:44Windy conditions are starting to pop up and that's going to mean something here.
11:47I want to talk about a game at 1 o'clock on Sunday in Buffalo.
11:51And that's between Tampa and Buffalo.
11:53You take a look at Baker Mayfield last week going up against the New England Patriots.
11:56They took a loss.
11:57Buffalo, maybe the worst loss of the week.
11:59Absolutely embarrassed by the Miami Dolphins on the road.
12:02This is a monster game for both of these teams looking to win their divisions.
12:05The line opened up here.
12:06At least the FanDuel's 6.5.
12:07It's back to about 5.5 now.
12:09And the total, still up there, Tom.
12:11High, close to 50.
12:1347.5, 48.5, depending on where you're shopping at.
12:16Windy conditions in Buffalo.
12:17But my question to you is, what am I getting or the expectations for the Buffalo offense this week?
12:23You know, I would expect them to try to get back to the ground game.
12:26You know, that's what they really should be trying to do, especially in this circumstance,
12:29coming off a loss, though, especially the way that they did.
12:32But the Bucs run defense is super solid.
12:35It's always been strong year after year.
12:37You know, wanting to get Cook and Allen involved on the ground, I think, is the right way to go about things.
12:41But I think this is too many points for the Bills to be laying at home.
12:44I know they often blow teams out at home, but this is not the same capacity of team that we are dealing with.
12:49And the Bucs are trending to getting healthier with Bucky Irving and Chris Godwin potentially coming back.
12:53That's not yet confirmed.
12:54But I would lean on the under, and I would take the points with the Bucs.
12:57I see this as a rock fight type of game before we see an explosive offense from both sides.
13:05Looking at an under in that one, Tom, I mean, 47 and a half.
13:09I mean, it feels like if I can't run the ball, neither team, I think, is going to have a whole lot of success running the ball here.
13:18So then it comes down to what?
13:19Just Josh Allen versus Baker Mayfield?
13:21And it's not going to be a crazy shootout, is it?
13:24I don't think so.
13:25And, you know, the problem I have with Buffalo, and I've said before, is like they have a lot of good options.
13:29Like I don't, I'm not sure if Duncan Cade's going to play this week, but Cleo Shakir, Keon Coleman, Josh Palmer, like they have a bunch of good receivers.
13:36And I think those receivers excel when they can be put into spots where they don't have to be the focal point in the offense.
13:41And they can do the play action.
13:43And the run game is the starting point in the offense.
13:44And it's like, okay, you give me 40 yards, you give me 30, you give me another 35 yards.
13:48We have a really balanced offense.
13:49And the same thing we said about the Bucs, where, you know, are you getting Chris Godwin back?
13:53Emeka Buka, their rookie, has been fantastic.
13:55But, again, what type of consistency do you have across the board?
13:58Because Baker struggles at times when you don't have like a go-to guy with Mike Evans.
14:02So I would lean under in that game.
14:04Let's take a look at a fun game, too.
14:06Maybe not the best game of the day, but an interesting one nonetheless.
14:08And wind is going to also be a factor.
14:10That's in the Meadowlands, Tom, here with the New York Giants.
14:12You're going to take on the Green Bay Packers.
14:13The Green Bay Packers reeling after two straight losses in the NFC.
14:16Won the Carolina, won the Philadelphia, but the Giants come back with Winston.
14:20So, you know, interesting, certainly, is going to be at the top of the board.
14:24It's a seven-point favorite here for the Green Bay Packers.
14:27What does the Giants' offense look like with Jamie Swinson against a really good Packers defense?
14:33I would say try and look as simple as possible.
14:35Just pick up first downs, right?
14:38Get Slayton involved.
14:39Get Wandale Robinson, Theo Johnson involved.
14:42And just try and keep the game within reach.
14:44I think that's a reasonable way to put it.
14:46It's like if you fall down by 14, two scores, the game's over.
14:50If you can keep this within seven, I think you'll have a shot, at least keeping it close.
14:54And obviously, the Giants have been playing super close games.
14:56The Packers' offense has not been looking good.
14:58But I have a prop in that game, and it's from a passing perspective.
15:01I want to go to Jordan Love over one-and-a-half passing touchdowns.
15:05And a lot of this comes from the fact of really how they played over the past two weeks.
15:09If Love looked okay-ish in the past two weeks and, you know, 250 yards, a touchdown or two, maybe I wouldn't love this prop.
15:15But the fact that he was so bad and the offense was terrible in the past two games, I think they need this as, like, we got to get our mojo back.
15:22Like, Josh Jacobs will get one on the ground.
15:23But Love and the offense needs to have the optimism and the confidence to go deep into the season with him saying, I can win us a game if we need to.
15:32Because we haven't seen that over the past two weeks.
15:34So, what are you thinking, Tom, where it's funny, this 49ers and Arizona game, we know Brock Purdy back under center, we know Harrison Jr. out.
15:46And I still think we're going to get a ton of points in this game here.
15:49And who do you favor?
15:51Because it seems to be a lot of San Francisco love in the marketplace now.
15:55But it's not like Jacoby Brissett hasn't been dealing.
15:57Right.
15:58Jacoby Brissett's been super solid.
15:59I've always said, I think he's one of the top-tier backup quarterbacks in the league.
16:03Like, he's actually above viable when it's all said and done.
16:06You know, Purdy coming back is good.
16:08Like, he is better than Matt Jones.
16:10But are we going to hit the ground running with Brock Purdy?
16:13Like, that's my main question.
16:14Like, are we going to be like, oh, it's week one, week two, he's ready to go, we're firing on all cylinders.
16:17Or are there going to be some, quote-unquote, growing pains?
16:20Ricky Pearsall is going to be getting back.
16:22So, you know, can we expect, I would expect more points than not in this game?
16:26Because really the defense, especially on the Cardinals side, has been struggling so much.
16:30But I'm more worried, actually, about the 49ers offense getting things going fast.
16:34Because I'd almost rather play an in-game total or a second-half total if things start off slow.
16:40Tom, let's get to the business here.
16:42It's going to be another late night in DRS's household on Sunday Night Football.
16:45Detroit comes into Philadelphia.
16:47That line opened up 47.5.
16:49It's down to 46.5.
16:50Colder temperatures.
16:51Not as windy as the Meadowlands or maybe Buffalo that we're seeing, but still could be a factor.
16:55The Eagles are the favorite at minus two and a half here.
16:58There's weapons all over the place.
17:00How do you play this game in Philadelphia Sunday night for you?
17:03I play this as another under.
17:05And I know it may seem uninteresting with these two teams.
17:08But the way the Eagles have looked, we can say that they've had a ton of growing pains with their new offensive coordinator.
17:16And, you know, seeing the way the Lions can move on offense, you're like, hey, they can run 30 points on their own.
17:20How are we possibly taking an under?
17:21The home road splits that Jared Goff has, specifically outdoor home road splits, are very, very bad when he's outside of a dunk.
17:27So despite all the offensive options on both sides, I see this as an under.
17:33And specifically, the first half under is probably where I'll start.
17:36If I get to a second half total and Brady and I are doing this game on Sunday night, I think that can be very interesting.
17:42But I see these teams playing very close to the chest because they want to put themselves in position to have home field advantage in the NFC.
17:48Because this is a massive game for that.
17:50Now, I know the changing conditions in the sports betting landscape there.
17:54But I know, Tom, he probably said, like, you know what?
17:56A.J. Brown, to get a catch on the first drive, makes a lot of sense.
17:58But let me ask you this.
17:59A.J. Brown, a fan deal right now.
18:01It's four and a half catches plus one 12 time.
18:04Come on now.
18:05Force feed the man, the ball time.
18:06How do we feel about A.J. Brown?
18:07Against that secondary, he should be able to get there.
18:11And if he can't do it in this matchup, I don't know.
18:15That's Tom Vecchio.
18:16He's always doing it in every matchup for us here on the Early Line.
18:19Thanks for rising and grinding with us.
18:21For myself, Donnie and Joe, we'll be right back after this trip break.
18:23Big games on a Sunday.
18:25Let's get to them, Joe.
18:261 p.m. in Orchard Park.
18:28That's in Buffalo, New York.
18:29One of the few final games here at the stadium until we move into the new stadium up there.
18:34Is it Highmark?
18:35What do they call it now?
18:36Highmark Stadium.
18:36The Ralph.
18:38What was it called before the Ralph at that point?
18:39It had a couple different names.
18:40It was maybe like a food-rich stadium it was called, too, like Rich Foods or whatever it is.
18:44They had a couple different names up there.
18:45But a new stadium nonetheless.
18:48But Josh Allen's going to take on Baker Mayford at 1 p.m.
18:50Blustery conditions here, Joe.
18:51Numbers still in the high 40s.
18:5347 and a half primarily as a total.
18:55And a side of a favorite for the Buffalo Bills at 5 and a half.
18:58If we look at some of the passing props, it's letting you know that it could be those windy conditions
19:03impacting the passing game.
19:04Josh Allen, 214 and a half.
19:06Baker Mayfield, 210 and a half, Joe.
19:09Tampa and Buffalo.
19:10Can't wait for this one on Sunday.
19:12Yeah, this is going to be interesting because we just watched last week, for whatever reason,
19:20the Buffalo Bills could not get the running game going against the Miami Dolphins there,
19:25who traded away their best defensive linemen there in Phillips and sent them to the Eagles.
19:32And yet they could not get anything going on the ground.
19:35I don't know that it's going to be any better here this week, Donnie, since we do have,
19:39we know Tampa is a top five defense against the run.
19:42Where you can beat Tampa is through the air.
19:46So this is going to be a little interesting because you mentioned it, going to be blistering.
19:50The wind is going to be blowing there.
19:52Keep an eye on those conditions.
19:54I think when it's all said and done, this is likely an under.
19:58I don't think this is going to be a wild, crazy shootout like it would be if it was maybe in Tampa.
20:04With this being in Buffalo, I'd look to this being a little more of a grind here,
20:09and I'd look at the under in this one.
20:10How about this one, Joe?
20:12Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, another one o'clock game here.
20:15That's Pittsburgh, the home team, taking on the Cincinnati Bengals,
20:17one of the worst defenses in football.
20:19This line sits at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
20:20As Joe calls it, no man's land at five and a half and a total of 49 and a half.
20:25This defense thinks as is, but also anticipated this weekend, Joe,
20:29you're not going to have Trey Hendrickson in that lineup or your first round draft pick,
20:33Shamar Stewart, lining this one up.
20:35How do we feel about this one, Joe?
20:37Terrible defense.
20:38Can Pittsburgh actually wake up on offense?
20:40Yeah, well, that's a good question because you're talking about it.
20:45Joe Flacco might be under duress given the fact that this is one of the worst
20:49offensive lines in all of football here.
20:53So against a good pass rush, it's going to be difficult for Flacco here.
20:59I think Pittsburgh probably chopping it to beat to get it going.
21:03I wouldn't be shocked if Pittsburgh wins this game by more than a touchdown,
21:07but here we go again, divisional matchup.
21:09Team, we already watched Flacco light him up for what?
21:12500 yards of offense the first go around.
21:15I think this is a little bit differently here, though.
21:18I think Pittsburgh looks to bounce back here.
21:21What's Cam Hayward got to say about some scrums here, huh?
21:25I don't really look at that.
21:27That's not a big deal to me.
21:28Yeah, you can get up the field.
21:29Hey, Bert, Bert, turn that down, please.
21:38What was the question again?
21:40These young kids got no sense out there, Joe.
21:42I mean, have some respect for the locker room out here when the people are talking
21:46out here at this point.
21:46Yeah, I agree 100%.
21:49Like, come on.
21:50Yeah.
21:50Like, I'm trying to do an interview here, guys.
21:53Like, lower the music.
21:54My goodness.
21:55Rude.
21:56Did we ever have Cam Hayward on the network before?
21:59I don't remember, but maybe one time in the past we might have actually been talking with
22:03the music that was turned down.
22:05How about this next game?
22:05Turn it up, Joe.
22:06The 49ers and the Cardinals.
22:08Your Brock Purdy back under center to save the season for the injury-plagued 49ers.
22:14We know this guy has a lot of injuries.
22:16Yeah, it's a team we're looking at right there with Jacoby Brissett, quarterback, not Kyler
22:19Murray.
22:19You're not going to have your top wide receiver.
22:21But still, Joe, 48 and a half.
22:23That says more about these bad defenses, no?
22:26Yeah, well, certainly we know the injuries for the 49ers have taken center stage.
22:31And yeah, I think getting Ricky Pearsall back, having Kittle back, you know, Jennings is
22:38on the field for him.
22:39I think offensively, both of these teams should be able to push the ball down the field, and
22:45both of them should be able to score, Donnie.
22:47I'm expecting this game, of all the games here this week, I think this could be a little
22:51bit of a wild shootout.
22:53So I think this game lands in the 50s.
22:5648 and a half might be a little bit too low a number for my taste.
22:59I'll tell you what's always tough too, Joe, when you're handing, you don't want to outsmart
23:03yourself.
23:03That's always like the first rule of thumb.
23:05Like, oh, this guy's coming back in an injury.
23:06How's he going to do?
23:06Betting on Brock Purdy.
23:07But the one guy that has me interested here, and I'm going to see if he gets another full
23:10practice in, it's Ricky Pearsall.
23:12He's listed at 40 and a half receiving yards in this game coming back.
23:15If he's healthy, that's a steal.
23:17But is he on a pitch count at this point?
23:18Maybe Kyle Shanahan can release some of that information.
23:20But also, from an Arizona perspective as well, you got Trey McBride.
23:2476 and a half is his prop here because you're saying, who else is going to catch footballs
23:28on that side?
23:29Somebody has to, Joe, if we're close to 50 as a total.
23:32And even look at the receiving prop market.
23:35How about Christian McCaffrey at 52 and a half as a receiving prop for a running back,
23:40Joe?
23:40It's pretty crazy.
23:42He's been doing it all year long, Donnie.
23:44I mean, he's been a much better catching the ball out of the backfield.
23:47I mean, that's how they kind of weathered the storm there for a little while.
23:52And now once he gets the running game going, but I'm with you.
23:55Yeah.
23:55Give me any time he can touch the ball, put the ball in his hands.
23:58And good things will happen for the 49ers.
24:01Absolutely.
24:02Taking a look at some outcomes here.
24:03Now, I see the next thing up on the docket.
24:05It's telling me Ravens versus, excuse me, Seattle Seahawks versus the Ravens.
24:10So there you go.
24:11You want to break down the Seattle Seahawks versus the Ravens here, Joe?
24:13What do you think?
24:14Is that a Super Bowl forecast or how does that work?
24:19Why don't we sub in the Rams for this game?
24:22Does that fit a little bit better, Joe?
24:23How are we feeling about this game?
24:24That's better.
24:25I like the Rams better.
24:26Yes.
24:27And listen, I think Seahawks are getting a little bit of love here in the marketplace,
24:32but I still think the Rams are going to get it done here.
24:37I trust Stafford more than Sam Darnold, not taking anything away from Darnold.
24:42But the problem is Sam Darnold turns the ball over way more than what Stafford does.
24:50So I think ultimately that's what this game could come down to, Donnie, is one of those
24:54ridiculously stupid turnovers by Sam Darnold and his offense.
24:58I think that's what's going to cost them this game.
25:01Fun game too, man.
25:024-0-5, not even the national spotlight game there at 4 o'clock, which obviously we'll get
25:06to in just a little bit.
25:07But also, Devontae Adams, you saw last week in that win, sort of tweaked that back oblique.
25:12He did not practice Wednesday, but got a limited practice in on Thursday.
25:16Keep your eyes open for that practice report on Friday to see if he's a full go.
25:19If not, Puka's going to eat anyway, but I love it.
25:22Like, yeah, Sam Darnold, Matt Stafford, you know, supremacy out there in the NFC West.
25:25We'll see who can take down the business.
25:27And also, if I'm just looking at the line, Joe, this is a stone-cold Seattle line to me.
25:32It feels like they're like, hey, Rams at home.
25:34They're the better team.
25:35Only three.
25:36You signed me up.
25:37I don't know about that because if I'm looking at the ticket count too, a lot of the ticket
25:40count going towards Seattle in this one, Joe.
25:42That surprises me.
25:44Yeah.
25:45Yeah.
25:45Well, I think, you know, they're public darlings here.
25:47I think that's kind of what they've turned into here.
25:51But I still don't trust Sam Darnold and that offense not to make the big mistake at the
25:57worst time.
25:58It hasn't cost them because they've actually played against weaker teams, but that's not
26:03what they're walking into here.
26:05Lamar Jackson.
26:06We know he's been struggling this week with injuries, particularly with his hamstring,
26:10but still winning football games.
26:11That's what matters the most.
26:12You saw him against Miami.
26:13He was very good.
26:14You saw him against, you know, Minnesota picking up a victory.
26:16Did not practice on Wednesday, but had a full practice on Thursday.
26:20Why is that important?
26:22Cleveland can really get after you with the pass rush here.
26:25And if we look at the conditions in Cleveland on Sunday at 425, windy, Joe, over 20 mile
26:31an hour sustained winds here.
26:33It's going to be an ugly game at 39 and a half listed as the total too.
26:37And that's a problem for Cleveland because one of these quarterbacks in the game is not
26:44going to be able to cut the football through 20 mile an hour winds.
26:48And that of course is Dylan Gabriel has got one of the weaker arms in the NFL for a starting
26:53quarterback.
26:54So yeah, I like Baltimore in this one.
26:57I just don't see where the scoring is coming from Cleveland, but I also don't mind using
27:02Baltimore and teasers.
27:03Donnie, get it down to one and a half and just ask them to win the game.
27:08Yeah.
27:09You're looking at Dylan Gabriel's passing prop in this game.
27:11One, seven, eight and a half.
27:12It sounds crazy high if you compare it to Justin Fields, but certainly you're right
27:15about it.
27:15Not a big arm here.
27:17Lamar Jackson listed at 209 and a half coming into this game.
27:20Probably a grounded pound, but you're right about this.
27:22Don't keep it, you know, Hey, we got to air it out.
27:24We got to get all over the field, just win the game, Baltimore, move forward, continue
27:28with your season and see if you can track down the Pittsburgh Steelers probably makes
27:31the most sense.
27:32But again, we're talking about mid November, Joe.
27:34We haven't talked much on this season so far about weather conditions impacting games.
27:38A lot of these games on the East Coast or in the Rust Belt, windy conditions and cooler
27:42conditions, something to keep an eye out for.
27:45More NFL talk next.
27:46We'll be right back after this short break.
27:48Feels like the last stand here.
27:50And say, what do you mean the last stand?
27:51It's the middle of November here.
27:53The Kansas City Chiefs currently sit one game above 500.
27:57They're going to take on the leaders in their division, Joe Ranieri, which are the Denver
28:01Broncos.
28:02The Broncos are home.
28:03The Broncos are not favored.
28:05Yes, Kansas City is coming off a bye week in a must win situation.
28:08Andy Reid has been sensational in his career coming off of the bye.
28:12A three and a half point favorite across the board towards Kansas City in a total of 44
28:16and a half.
28:17The one thing we worry about is that Denver Broncos offense broken.
28:21Their record isn't broken.
28:23But if Kansas City wants to make the playoffs and more importantly, try to win that division,
28:27this feels like an absolute must win game for those Kansas City Chiefs.
28:31Do you agree, Joe?
28:32Yeah, and I and I think they'll do it and keep this in mind here, Donnie.
28:38This is the first game of the season that Kansas City's offense will have every one of their
28:4511 starters projected on the field here.
28:49They'll get their left tackle Josh Simmons back, you know, which is a big which is a big
28:55boost for them.
28:56They'll also they'll have everybody that was supposed to be on this starting offense will
29:03be on the field for the first time and they're going to be looking obviously to to get like
29:09you said back against the wall.
29:11We need to win some games.
29:12I think the over is a good look here, Donnie, because as much has been made about this Denver
29:18defense, Patrick Sertan not being there.
29:21This is going to give my homes and company an opportunity to take advantage.
29:26And I think they will.
29:27And I also think, listen, Bo Nix are in games at home, much better, much more efficient here.
29:34And I think Sean Payton will understand there's no way we can play catch up here against my
29:40homes.
29:40We're going to have to come out.
29:41We're going to have to strike early and try to play from in front.
29:43So, yeah, I'll take the over in here.
29:46I think we're going to get some points in this one.
29:49Yeah, some fours are in the marketplace as well, Joe.
29:51Who would have thought this rather?
29:52Hey, look at all these games Donnie and Joe are previewing here.
29:54Of course, Denver.
29:55Oh, my goodness.
29:56Mid-November.
29:56It's going to be terrible conditions.
29:58Think again, Joe.
29:59Look at the weather reports.
30:01Sixty six degrees at kickoff.
30:03No precipitation and five mile per hour winds.
30:07Maybe the best environment of an outdoor stadium you will have this weekend in football is in
30:11Denver.
30:12It doesn't make sense, but that's the way it's going to go down here.
30:14And here's Patrick Holmes talking about the betting scandals here.
30:17The betting stuff.
30:18How much has the NBA and MLB stuff been present in your mind?
30:22And do you feel like the safeguards are all in place while in the NFL?
30:26I mean, they let us know.
30:27I mean, the NFL and the NFLPA kind of tell us all the different rules that you can and
30:31can't do.
30:32I just stay away.
30:33Stay away from it.
30:34Just because I don't want to put myself in that position.
30:37I mean, that's something that your life's so great.
30:40I'll mess with it, you know?
30:41And so it does get, I think more than anything to me, it gets weird sometimes when like you
30:46have fans talking about it just because like you're just trying to go out there and live
30:49your life and play the game.
30:50And sometimes they get really attached to them even more than like the regular fan because
30:54they have money on the line.
30:55And so for me to them, I would just say don't do anything that you can't recuperate or live
31:01without.
31:01And so it's a crazy world we live in these days, seeing all this stuff happen.
31:06But I think you just focus on the football and focus on the sport that you love and why
31:09you're here.
31:10And you don't have to worry about all that other stuff.
31:13Hey, look at that.
31:14Smart approach from a smart man.
31:15Hey, man, I make a lot of money.
31:17Why mess it up, Joe, right?
31:18Isn't it supposed to be that simple?
31:20It should be that simple, Donnie.
31:22It's not that.
31:23Don't overthink it.
31:24You know, don't put your careers and your livelihoods and everything else in jeopardy
31:29here over a 16 parlay.
31:32Like, please don't do that.
31:34Please don't do that unless that 16 parlay includes the Philadelphia Eagles beating the
31:38Detroit Lions and that number going over.
31:40That's what Mahomes can get interested in at that point.
31:43That's Sunday night football.
31:45Everybody's waiting for Sunday night, including me, your boy DRS.
31:48We'll have another late night.
31:49Come on.
31:49By the way, primetime on Monday, primetime on Sunday.
31:52Help me out.
31:53I want to get to bed early.
31:54I can't be staying up this late at this point, but the Eagles are the favorites and a total
31:5746 and a half feels like this game is going to decide who gets home field advantage in
32:02the NFC, Joe in Philly.
32:04They have the advantage by being the favorites.
32:07Yeah, and they should be.
32:09And I think this number might actually continue to rise in their favor here.
32:15So I think Cam Juergens is is back.
32:18They're hoping anyway, but even if he's not, you know, there was a lot of people who are
32:24a lot of money that came in on the under, Donnie, from where this opened up at.
32:28And I get it, given the fact that, listen, Dan Campbell calling the offensive plays.
32:33I've been saying this for how long?
32:35All season.
32:36This is not the same old, same old Detroit offense.
32:39They look tremendous against bad defenses, Donnie.
32:43Oh, they put up 44 points against the Washington.
32:46Stop it.
32:47Like, this is a totally different animal.
32:50And Dan Campbell calling plays should not give anybody in Detroit the confidence to believe
32:55going up against this Philadelphia defense that they're going to win in some sort of
32:59shootout here.
33:00I agree with the under, but I still think the Eagles are the right side in this one.
33:05The Eagles be as healthy as they've been all season long.
33:07If Cam Juergens comes back, Joe, every single starter will be available in this game who opened
33:12up the season.
33:12That's pretty remarkable for being late in December and being at home.
33:15Lane Johnson looked like his season might be over, came back in the fourth quarter and is
33:18practicing full this week on that ankle.
33:21So we'll see what happens.
33:22No excuses for either team heading into this one.
33:24They'll be raring to go.
33:26We'll see if it plays out.
33:27Monday night football, Joe, Dallas and Las Vegas from Las Vegas, Dallas getting all the
33:31money.
33:31And they were a three and a half point favorite right now in a total of 50 and a half.
33:35That defense is terrible for Vegas.
33:37They are in a dome.
33:38Dallas is rested and ready.
33:39Seems like they should be able to name their number on offense.
33:43No.
33:44Yeah.
33:45And they have been a Dak and company here have been very, very good over the last couple
33:50of years coming out of a buy and the matchup absolutely favors them here.
33:56So, yeah, and we all know that Dak Prescott, when it comes to playing teams less than 500,
34:03really, really good.
34:0420 and 14 against the number here.
34:08Dak, I believe 18 and seven straight up, 17 and eight against the number when his team
34:14is playing with extra rest.
34:16And that's exactly what they will have here.
34:18Yeah, I think if you can get the three, if there's any more left, they'll probably be
34:23gone.
34:23And I think this line only continues to rise.
34:26Dak Prescott, 254 and a half for his passing prop.
34:29Passing touchdowns over one and a half is minus 158 at that point.
34:33Receiving props in this game.
34:35CeeDee Lamb, no surprise, 86 and a half.
34:37George Pickens, 67 and a half.
34:39But Brock Barrett is the ultra talented tight end for the Vegas Raiders.
34:4370 and a half as he is listed here.
34:45If Dallas wants to make the playoffs, Joe, that is a must win on Monday Night Football.
34:49But that's a pretty good card.
34:5013 games on Sunday, then a Monday Night Football game.
34:53And next Thursday night's game starts with Buffalo and Houston, which is an interesting
34:56one as well.
34:57And away we go, Joe, in the NFL season.
35:00It's what we do.
