Mother Throws 7-Year-Old Daughter from Three-Storey Building in Hyderabad, Child Dies

Hyderabad: A shocking and tragic incident was reported from Malkajgiri, where a mother allegedly threw her seven-year-old daughter from the top of a three-storey building, leading to the child’s death.

According to police, the incident took place in Vasantapuri Colony under the Malkajgiri area. The accused, identified as Monalisa, lives there with her husband. Police said Monalisa has been suffering from mental illness for some time.

On Monday morning, Monalisa allegedly threw her daughter, Sharoni Mary, from the terrace of the three-storey building. The child sustained severe injuries in the fall. Local residents immediately rushed her to Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

Doctors at the hospital later declared the child brought dead. Following the incident, police registered a case and began an investigation. Further action will be taken based on the findings of the probe.
