00:00Thursday night football one team belongs in the playoff race and one team doesn't and that's

00:20night football a lot on the line for Tampa Bay what's your spread line here recency bias Donnie
00:25keep an eye on it here because both these teams looked absolutely horrific uh this past Sunday
00:32but Tampa was a little more costly for a lot of folks uh than uh than Atlanta was necessarily so
00:40I would keep an eye the look at line was six and a half here and we seem to be going just the other
00:46way I I tend to think that Tampa is going to get more money as the week progresses the total feels
00:53about right but I would not be shocked that this inches closer to six and a half just under a
00:58touchdown by the time we get to kick news and notes across the NFL landscape which was really
01:03interesting yesterday as we brought up earlier in the show you know taking a look at Riley Leonard
01:06probably going to be the starter now with Daniel Jones down for the Indianapolis Colts thought he
01:10performed decently and that's a guy coming in as a rookie ice cold without much practice time
01:14and actually looked like he was the part then we find out that it has a knee injury then word comes out
01:19the Colts are planning to bring in Philip Rivers into the facility Tuesday to work out and see if
01:25he can join their practice squad to I guess ramp up at this point my question's going to be is where
01:30the heck is Anthony Richardson what the hell's going on he heard his eye sockets being cleared back but
01:35they're not letting him work out here I don't know what's going on with the Colts but this was one of
01:38those teams three or four weeks ago can they be the number one seed in the AFC to now I don't know if
01:44they're going to make the playoffs in the AFC and Philip Rivers who's 44 years old looking to come
01:50back and make another Colts appearance what an incredible story well just when you thought that
01:56you know they okay Riley Leonard actually used his legs kind of looked apart uh that maybe just maybe
02:03they'd be able to hold the foot no no no no we learned last night on the pre-game telecast which
02:09might have been the funniest thing in the world the Schefter comes on and there's Aikman right there's
02:14Van Pelt and when they busted out the news that Rivers is coming in for a tryout I literally
02:20thought Troy Aikman was going to fall off the chair and you knew it was coming they're like well why
02:26didn't they call you Troy why why not get you out there that is the state of the quarterback position
02:32right now in the NFL Donnie where we're calling 44 year old grandfathers grandfathers uh off the couch
02:41to see if maybe they can come and play quarterback and I get it at one what choice do you have like
02:47leave no stone unturned but are we really I who's let there's nobody else Donnie nobody else that this
02:56team could have they literally pushed all their chips in on the table to go and get sauce Gardner
03:01like they believed they had a shot at winning this AFC not with a 44 year old Philip Rivers you know
03:09yeah it's over it's over for the Colts it's a shame it was a great story while it was going on
03:13you have one of the best running backs in football plowing away Daniel Jones wow reincarnated he's now
03:18down with another injury Riley Leonard wasn't going to lead you to an AFC championship either but at least
03:22he was competent and young now you're going to look to a 44 year old to try to save your season
03:26ain't going to happen here other news and notes from Sunday action Pete Carroll we all know Pete
03:32Carroll got himself a little bit in trouble in this one and it's not really their fault I don't think
03:36there was a right or wrong at this point but the field goal did make me laugh it never should have
03:40happened because there never should have been a delay of game call on the defense which was the
03:44Denver Broncos to even allow more time on the clock to kick that point but Pete Carroll goes you know
03:49what down 10 I knew it was going to look stupid but here's what we had to do come on Pete
03:54I'm telling you right now Donnie that you can't that that's even worse Pete like you should just
04:01say hey listen we were working on some things on specialty yeah anything other than ah you know I
04:09figured why not yeah you know I I happened to know the spread was seven and a half and the total was
04:1340 and a half so yeah why not after all we are the Vegas Raiders right Donnie I mean you come on Pete
04:21you got to do you got to be better than that man oh my goodness let's see that video let's see Pete
04:26talking about it we got Pete talking about it let's go well if you notice if you notice I was I was
04:31battling with the official making a plea for because we saw eight seconds seven which would have given
04:36us a chance to kick the field goal kick it on size kick and maybe have a second left and then when it
04:41went down to five and went down to three or whatever they did and then they put it back to five or
04:45whatever then I knew we you know it was going to look stupid like you couldn't figure out why we were doing it
04:49so um but one I it was eight I was trying to get it to 10 I was talking 10 you know with the guy
04:56trying to get it back up and I thought I'd had a chance to plea it and and plead it and they might
05:01give me a shot and so uh that was just competing all as well it wasn't but it did you know fans
05:07couldn't understand like you're asking the question but uh there was a real clear thought what we were
05:11trying to get down there just to take it down to the very last click but it's the optics were bad because
05:18I don't think the optics would be as bad Joe like if you just line up and shotgun and throw it into
05:22the end zone and it falls incomplete and there's no time on the clock the funny part is like you're
05:26kicking the field goal and it just brings in again like oh the field goal we get the total the field
05:32goal we get the cover in this game I know coaches problem Pete Carroll probably doesn't think about
05:36gambling because he's too old to do that anyway but just the optics of it being in Vegas it was
05:41hilarious unless you had a ticket on the game for the under and or the Denver Broncos
05:45I'm still waiting for a legit Reese like he just talked in circles there like I still don't understand
05:52we're just competing to the end oh then throw it into the end zone throw the Hail Mary like every team
05:58has done in the history of the NFL in that spot that you don't roll out the field goal team down 10
06:04unbelievable man absolutely unreal Pete probably would have still kicked the field goal down four at that
06:10point knowing you needed a touchdown like hey maybe we got two possessions back at this point you know
06:14what I mean that's just yeah still competing at this point making some sense analytics said it was right
06:18here what a wild AFC pictures we take a look at some of the playoffs here if the season ended today
06:24Joe the Broncos Patriots Jaguars Steelers Bills Chargers and Texans would be in yeah the Colts that we
06:30were talking about a few short weeks ago the best record in the NFL they're on the outside looking in right
06:34now the Baltimore Ravens who many people had as their favorites to win the championship this year
06:39opening up in the season for six and seven and ninth spot the Kansas City Chiefs they always make
06:44the AFC championship game at least and then play for a Super Bowl they're currently sitting at six
06:48and seven as well the two teams at the top of the heap the Broncos and the Patriots which is incredible
06:53and then how about Duval County down there nine and four and then the Steelers with their big win over
06:58the Baltimore Ravens they sit at seven and six if we're looking at this playoff picture Joe
07:03the has-beens I guess you can call them now right the Ravens and the Chiefs on the outside looking
07:09in the new kids on the block the Patriots and the Broncos both sit at 11 and two man yeah it's kind
07:16of crazy right didn't uh didn't necessarily have that on the uh on the bingo card but it it just goes
07:23to show you that in the you know a month ago when they mortgaged part of their you know future assets
07:30to to win now uh they truly saw what we're so like this is anybody's game in the AFC right I mean
07:37how much confidence do we have with some of these you know with the Patriots of the world and you
07:42know do we trust every one of these teams has serious flaws and question parts Donnie of the AFC
07:49it's very hard to look at anyone and be like well you know we don't have a Chiefs this year right we
07:55we just we don't we don't have that if we don't have a Ravens this year even Buffalo's got a million
08:02questions so it is even though the record is great there are still to me a lot to be determined here
08:09down the stretch yeah you hit like the nail on the head Joe right there because we're talking about
08:13teams with the trustability in the playoffs so well Donnie how could you trust the Bills and never get
08:16to the Super Bowl it's still Josh Allen they're still used to being up top you know you take a look at
08:20the Ravens they're always there and then hey healthy Lamar Jackson of course they're going to make a deep
08:24run in the playoffs and the same thing with the Kansas City Chiefs with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes
08:28we don't have that which means when we're taking a look at the possibilities of who can win what the
08:32odds would be that's why the Bills are plus 370 wait a second they're two games back or three games
08:36back right now tech two and a half games I should say back of the you know the New England Patriots
08:41who are in first place with another game on deck with them are we waiting again in a wait and see
08:45mode like ah who cares if the Bills lose again to the Patriots they're still going to be as
08:49favored in the playoffs they should be able to win I don't know that here but the one thing I do know
08:53is every team is vulnerable at some time and then you look at the top of the standings the Jaguars
08:57we've seen what Trevor Lawrence you know does in the playoffs at this point not particularly good
09:01we've seen the Patriots with Tom Brady do damage we don't know what they're going to do without Tom
09:06Brady in the playoffs here and the same thing with the Broncos and Bo Nix at this point love a good
09:09story but also at the same time I watched the Broncos ago well that offense isn't all that explosive
09:14leaning on the defense here playing close games usually catches up to you there's a lot of stuff in that
09:19top four top five teams that you can have questions about or can the Ravens or the Chiefs sneak back in
09:24I don't think that's going to happen but I'll tell you one thing huge win for the Chargers last night
09:28to put them at eight and four now and maybe they can look at the Broncos and say let's get back into
09:33this thing yeah I mean listen there is still time for one of these teams to write the ship figure it out
09:42and get hot down the stretch Donnie we have seen that a lot uh and so for all the faults there are
09:50still some opportunities here and I think these games coming up some of these games in week 15 I
09:56mean I think we're going to learn a lot about the Rams and Detroit this week I think we're going to
10:01learn a lot about the Bills and the Patriots this week right where there are some games coming up here
10:07in this week 15 and the bigger maybe the biggest question in the AFC Donnie is who's coming out of
10:13the AFC North exactly and will it matter can any one of them figure it out in time you know because
10:20I'd still take Burrow a healthy Lamar you know what I mean give me give me something there that
10:27they can figure it out if they can but I don't have any idea who's coming out of that division
10:32by the way I don't think we have any more buys left in the season so it's a full slate on Sunday
10:37one of those games which is funny like you think maybe the game of the weekend should be Buffalo
10:40in New England that's a one o'clock start and there's a lot going on in this one we saw last
10:44week in the snow the comeback victory for the Buffalo Bills the defense a little bit lackluster
10:49can they get Bosa back for this game 28 degree temperatures which is fine no precipitation expected
10:54on the field and winds under 10 miles an hour in Foxboro this weekend it should be a good one Joe
10:59if we line this up Vandu will actually open the New England Patriots as a one and a half point
11:04favorite that has swung over to the Buffalo Bills the public can't get enough of the Buffalo Bills
11:08but when I watch Joe that Buffalo defense is vulnerable Drake May is really athletic in the
11:14pocket sometimes you watch Bo Nix as well it's like all right they don't throw deep they're not
11:17explosive but you can't sack the kid dances around the pocket makes the right reads out there very
11:22efficient that's what Drake May has been this year and this isn't wait and see Drake May this is wait
11:27and see Drake May in an MVP caliber season for Drake May going up against the Buffalo Bills do you believe
11:32that the Bills should be the favorite on the road here against New England Joe
11:36yeah well I mean it's a pick-em so I mean is there any Foxboro you know is there should there be a
11:43home field advantage sure but I think that line reflects experience Donnie right I think that's
11:50what that reflects there it's Josh Allen and this team having been there and done this before this time
11:57of year and while it's a great story with Drake May and the Patriots what what if they want I mean
12:02you gotta you know Vrabel's first year they're over performing they're taking advantage of a weak
12:09schedule all good things but you gotta give the nod to Buffalo here because listen you know you
12:17already beat Buffalo once in Buffalo if you think that doesn't matter you don't think Buffalo's coming
12:21in with revenge on their mind doesn't mean they'll win but I get why the line is where it's at
12:27yeah cashier markets they're directly 50 50 with chances here so obviously a 100 wager pays back
12:33200 you get that even money back but that's one to keep your eye on because I still feel
12:37like if the Buffalo Bills win most of the public well that's what's supposed to happen the Bills
12:41are going to split with them and the Bills are playing well and it's Josh Allen MVP candidate himself
12:45but it feels like we're still waiting and we haven't given New England the credit yet has their
12:49schedule been against all the holy rollers in the NFL no it hasn't like they've had a pretty good
12:53schedule they've taken care of here but now you step up in competition New England go out there
12:57and show me a victory and I don't mean let's squeak by it you know uh 21 20 go and show me win
13:02that game by four plus points where you're in control in the fourth quarter and you won that
13:06football game you didn't just hold on for dear life that's what I think I need to see in the public
13:10is waiting on because if you give New England another victory Joe now we're talking about can we
13:14actually get a home field advantage throughout the playoffs as the number one seed and a buy for New
13:19England that'd be incredible correct yeah it would be and it's funny because the NFL has already begun
13:25to flex out some games and they just flexed next week's Sunday night it's now Patriots Ravens instead
13:33of Bengals and Dolphins so like it they're they're catching everyone's attention schedules here man come
13:39on back with a little NFC action next oh man let's have some fun here it's the early launch your boy
13:45Donnie Wright side right now and sometimes I have to take a look in the mirror and say why do I get
13:49myself so worked up why do I get so angry why do things mean so much because we're sports fans we
13:55wear our heart on our sleeve and this is what happens and particularly being in this business here
13:58you got to show up to work even if your favorite teams let you down just hours ago it's a business
14:04we chose right here that's why we got into it now the NFC the playoff picture is becoming clear
14:09so myself and Joe Ranieri we're going to take a look at some of these teams that absolutely
14:13should be fighting for their playoff lives and some teams that look like they're fighting for
14:18supremacy in the NFC and one of those teams is those Los Angeles Rams they look tremendous Joe
14:22when I start at the top the Rams would have that first round by great quarterback great running game
14:28great offensive line grow solid tight ends fantastic wide receivers great play calling head coach
14:34fantastic defense like what did I miss Joe on the Rams nothing no I mean that what's there to
14:42it's amazing to me Donnie because to think where we started this season with them where we knew the
14:49defense was young we knew they they still had some question marks and that secondary and but the
14:54biggest question surrounding him was oh Matt Stafford in that back he's 37 years old the offensive line
15:01has got some issues and I we don't know if we can trust them well boy oh boy I mean it took what two
15:08three weeks before nobody talked about his back anymore or protecting him and now here we are just
15:14steamrolling and look at this line coming up against Detroit this week tells you everything you need to
15:19know about what the market and what we should be considering maybe the best team in the NFL right now
15:25with the LA Rams I'll tell you it's bad this too because you look at the division leaders look at the
15:29home game right the Rams are 10 and 3 really good team the Packers 9-3-1 really good team the Eagles
15:33leaking oil right now we'll see if they get back on track and the Buccaneers hanging on going up
15:37against the Panthers who have identical records at 7 and 6 but just the tiebreaker right now goes to
15:42Tampa Bay but look at the wild card teams Joe 10 and 3 9 and 4 and 9 and 4 absolutely sensational
15:49the one thing you could take out of the playoff picture look at the NFC West Rams 10 and 3 Seahawks
15:5410 and 3 Niners 9 and 4 now granted the NFC West did get a pretty good pick here on divisions that they
15:59played which is why the Niners at 9 and 4 despite all those injuries they played a dog and pony show
16:04schedule but they're winning those football games somebody's going to get left out it might be the
16:08Lions at 8 and 5 that don't even make it into the playoffs they got a massive game coming up this
16:14weekend to see if they can pull out a victory up against those Los Angeles Rams I like what I see
16:19in the NFC and by far to me Joe I think the NFC is better than the AFC overall I agree the only
16:26worry that you have there Donnie is do they devour themselves you know before we get there and that
16:32that's the big question but you're right I think when you go down pound for pound the NFC has got teams
16:39I think that we would consider more built for the long haul right teams that we would consider that do
16:47have some experience have a in the Rams case have a ring have a Super Bowl winning coach Super Bowl
16:52winning quarterback and you know you've we've got more established teams coaches and players I think
16:59coming out of the NFC then we got great stories in the AFC Donnie but does a great story mean
17:05they're good enough to run the table against more experienced teams I don't know yeah the favorites
17:11right now the Rams minus 235 they're gonna again it's a tough playoff run even though I do think the
17:16Rams are the best Joe the one thing that you love about it sometimes you get to the playoffs and one or
17:20two teams gets a layup I don't think anybody's getting a layup at any time here like in round
17:24one like look at the wild card teams Joe 10 and 3 9 and 4 and 9 and 4 one of those teams is going
17:29to come into your building that you're going to have to play after a playoff win with some momentum
17:33should be a fun thing to watch at this point but as I tease Joe one of the bigger games on the carpet
17:38this weekend and yes it is on the carpet because these two teams play in a dome it's going to be out
17:42in LA again we just saw a game in Los Angeles last night it's golf and Stafford the favorites here
17:46opened up a three and a half for the Rams is that look ahead line we're five and a half and sixes in
17:51the marketplace right now and a total Joe that started at 51 and a half now you see that graphic
17:5654 and a half other outlets have already gotten up to 55 and a half points in that game I don't know
18:03who looks at that and says you know what this game is going to stay under but for me I say to myself
18:07hey Matthew Stafford against that bad defensive secondary for Detroit and we know Dan Campbell is going to
18:14go for an every fourth down and won't kick a single field goal in that game knowing he's got to catch up
18:19with the Rams I do like the fact this week again we don't have any bye weeks we get football started
18:24on a Thursday night but just looking at some of those games where elimination games right Baltimore
18:29lose a game next week it's going to be elimination for them the Kansas City Chiefs lose but just to focus
18:34Joe on that Detroit Rams game that's going to be a fun one to watch and we should have a pinball machine
18:40on that scoreboard I can't Donnie I mean look at that total opened up 50 and a half we're already
18:46up to 55 uh so what do you think the market thinks we're gonna get here indoors fast track
18:52get ready for it should be a fun one points points and more points I'm on Ross St. Brown
18:57Jamo on one side Pook on one side Devontae Adams woo the best of the NFC and getting underway
19:03so is our number two next let's get a look at some of these weekend games no bye weeks here
19:08Joe so as I count on Sunday one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen
19:15fourteen games will be played on Sunday between one o'clock and 425 fantastic and also of course
19:22that 820 game which is Minnesota and Dallas but we do take a look at the NFC AFC North excuse me
19:28last week we saw the two top teams in the division go head to head those are Pittsburgh Steelers in the
19:32Baltimore Ravens how about the Pittsburgh Steelers coming away with a victory on the road against
19:38those Baltimore Ravens controversy in that game absolutely win for the Pittsburgh Steelers you
19:43bet you so Baltimore now goes on the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals they're favoring this game
19:47by two and a half points depending where you're shopping at in the total of 51 and a half I haven't
19:52been happy with Baltimore the way they've been playing but now you look at Cincinnati they don't stop
19:56anybody on defense could Baltimore be able to go up and down the field possibly they can but the one
20:01interesting thing to look at for this one you love the fact that Joe Burrow's back there slinging it
20:05to T Higgins and Jamar Chase we're not gonna have T Higgins this week my guy was bouncing his head like
20:11a basketball after that frozen field on Sunday questionable multiple times that injury even checked
20:17for concussion symptoms comes back the next day Joe on a Monday he's got concussion symptoms ain't no
20:23way T Higgins probably plays another down this season for the Bengals
20:27no I'm thinking that's done but it you know we did just see this right uh on Thanksgiving uh this game
20:36here Donnie and apparently they don't think we're gonna get anywhere even close to the same kind of
20:42game because look at the total I mean the total's in the 50s in this one so we're expecting a totally
20:48different animal here 26 14 was that score uh but I don't know man I I what are we getting
20:56from the Ravens like is the the Ravens I think much like we talked about your Eagles you know
21:03we're here we are week 14 15 like if you're struggling offensively you know sometimes it walks
21:09like a duck talks like a duck it's a duck here like the Ravens are not a healthy Lamar Jackson
21:15we're not talking about a great Derrick Henry anymore the offense has big time issues I don't
21:21know I mean advantage Joe Burrow here and Cincinnati I don't know I wouldn't I wouldn't be running to
21:27the window expecting great things from the Ravens from this point forward especially in a division
21:33matchup yeah because a lot of times we're still looking at the Baltimore Ravens under the microscope
21:37of how they were the last five years and Lamar's still there and it's Derrick Henry and they'll run
21:40up and down the field they should though like Cincinnati's one of the worst defenses you're going to find
21:44last week proving that case in point again where you have a lead looks like you're going to control
21:48the game and you just completely fall apart in that game which their defense does stink but it's also
21:53not the same as Ravens offense that we're looking at to say hey you know what we'll be able to get
21:56after them understand this though like Lamar Jackson is running a little bit more at this point so
22:00something to keep an eye on where maybe you're getting those discounts of 25 and 30 yards they
22:04possibly won't be there and also at the end of the season which now we're in December quarterbacks tend to
22:09run more you saw it last night with Herbert must win situation I got a broken hand he ran
22:14repeat ran 10 times in that football game football game and took some big time hits but that's what
22:19happens to quarterbacks you got to win you put it on the line we'll see if Baltimore can hang around
22:23that playoff picture with a win against Cincinnati and finally turn the lights out on those Bengals
22:28the Chargers and the Kansas City Chiefs how many weeks in a row is it like hey Kansas City must win
22:32situation and continues to lose those games lost last week against Houston despite being tied 10-10 heading
22:39in to the fourth quarter they're going to get a look at the Chargers you might say from last night hey good win
22:44up the Eagles and it was anytime you be an eight and 14 don't care that's a good win but now the
22:48Chargers go on the road with a terrible offensive line and a quarterback that's still banged up at
22:52this point Kansas City I don't want to say they're left for dead which it feels like but they keep
22:56getting priced like we're talking about a 12 win football team at this time of the season still
23:01favorite I can't take them as a favorite anymore Joe I do think they win I can't put my money on the
23:07Chiefs so you know what I thought Donnie that this line depending on the outcome last night and what
23:15we saw with the Chargers I thought maybe this line would adjust but to your point what we saw was
23:20a injured uh you know Justin Herbert a terrible offensive line sacked and hit all the time here
23:29and on the flip side all those offensive line injuries that Kansas City just had against Houston
23:35it looks like two two of those guys will be back two of the starting offensive linemen will be back
23:41which explains why this number is here you've got a Kansas City team offensively getting a little bit
23:47healthier there on the offensive line and you got a Chargers team that just just lost a backup tackle
23:53already uh again in Pimpkins last night so short week I get the line doesn't mean they're going to win
24:00but they do have a little bit of revenge from that first loss of the season there to uh to the
24:05Chargers as well and maybe two of the worst offensive lines going to show up not because
24:09what we thought the season was because the Chiefs usually have a good offensive line and all sudden
24:13you have that Chargers offensive line which looked fantastic everybody's injured at every position on
24:18that offensive line good luck quarterbacks the one thing you do about those defensive coordinators
24:21they are going to minter obviously for the Chargers and then Spagnola for the Chiefs
24:25they're going to bring in the heat against those quarterbacks we ain't staying back there with a
24:29three-man pass rush in this football game we'll find out how that plays out and interesting that is a
24:33one o'clock game the four o'clock slate 425 big one here the Detroit Lions take on the Los Angeles Rams
24:40from Los Angeles you see that favorite there at five and a half this line opened up Joe to start
24:44the week three and a half the Rams are damn good the Rams are at home the Detroit Lions looking to get
24:50back off the mat here and understand this I'm on Ross St. Brown looks good at this point right now
24:56they beat the Dallas Cowboys an extra couple days to get more healthy that often still should be
25:01cooking but for me Joe it comes down to that Lions secondary it's not holding up against the Rams it's
25:08just not well and you could see what the market thinks is going to happen there Donnie because 50
25:15and a half was the look ahead total and well we're up to 55 already so we have seen nothing uh but uh but
25:23over money come into this one I mean listen the Rams just dropped 45 on whatever that version of the
25:29Cardinals was so yeah we you know we if the market thinks the Rams are going to bring it uh also
25:35mostly because uh we just like what we watched Detroit's defense give up a bunch of points too so
25:42I get it I also get the five and a half which is a strange number Donnie because it's not a key on
25:47anything it's kind of the books going all right you tell us who you like better in this one are we
25:53going to get closer to three and a half or are we going to get closer to a touchdown it's going to be
25:58interesting and see what happens Thursday this week I'll tell you a good game too here Joe 425 p.m.
26:04this weekend in Denver two of the best teams in football that's Green Bay going to the mile high
26:08city to take on the Broncos and I'm not surprised by this the opening look ahead line Joe minus one
26:14and a half points as a favorite towards Green Bay we now sit at two and a half across the board
26:18and a total at 42 and a half points if I'm looking at some of the weather conditions for Denver on
26:23Sunday this doesn't ever make any sense like everywhere is freezing Denver supposed to be 55
26:28with no wind and no rain on Sunday like you think this is the time of the year it's snowing in the
26:34mile high city and you got to get ready for it this is going to be like a cakewalk for Green Bay fans
26:38if they want to make this trek but for me I do think Green Bay should be the favorite team I agree
26:43with the line moving higher I think Green Bay is better and again maybe it's just me and I watch
26:47Denver on a week-to-week basis really good football team don't get me wrong but this step up in
26:52competition this week you can't dilly-dally can't play from behind it's going to burn you
26:56I like the Packers to beat the Broncos early in the week well the Packers are good you know they
27:01got a lot of love and respect in the marketplace uh Donnie and we've seen that we saw it last week
27:06too that as much as everyone the trendy dog the Chicago Bears we saw that money come in uh and push
27:13Green Bay to an almost a touchdown favorite in that game and they won and covered I'm curious though
27:19had Denver actually won by 10 and got the cover with this line look a little bit different Donnie
27:27you think or would we still be looking at what we're doing because it almost feels like the
27:32market might be looking in Denver and be like listen you're good but man oh man how many more
27:37games are you going to lose in epic fashion and not get the cover even when they win they can't cover
27:42Donnie yeah because you're taking a look at right they played the Raiders and the Commanders and
27:47yes they get credit for beating the Chiefs but they were down in that fourth quarter pulled
27:50went out at 22 to 19 the Chiefs aren't that good and the week before that Joe the Raiders 10-7
27:55so that's why you look at this and say to step up in competition I do agree they could be favorite
28:00step up again for me Denver show me by the way I really like the way Bo Nix is playing this year
28:04it's no knock to say that the Denver Broncos can't go deep they have a great home field advantage
28:08a fantastic pass rusher on their defense quality players in that secondary you just need to
28:13oh I just need a little bit more from that offense and making some of those big plays
28:16maybe they do it this weekend but Green Bay no slouches that's why they're favored in the
28:20mile high city losing my mind right now in the Philadelphia Eagles I am losing my mind they get
28:26the interception with 10 seconds left to go in the half and two timeouts you know what most teams do
28:31on the 30 yard line you take a shot dump it off over the field six to seven yards to make it a closer
28:36field goal what do they do throw the football out of bounds immediately when the ball is snapped
28:41and miss a field goal in a dome get a couple yards closer make the field goal I'm tired of
28:47I'm telling you Joe like I never go like I usually like I'll tweet a lot during the game but I had to
28:53go live and support my anger for what I was watching at that point you know it takes a lot Joe when you
28:59watch a game and you got to bring out your phone to scream at it because how stupid that situation was
29:05for the Philadelphia Eagles at the end of the half drives you absolutely uh crazy and the worst part
29:10now you're all fired up you're not going to bed anyway and then you got even more fired up in the
29:15second it just it just snowballed out of control for you last night there look again even like even in
29:21overtime you had a smart play by my my lot on a fourth and short where the guy comes offside so
29:26you fake the false start you get that you move it nice pass by hurts like oh man this is going to
29:30work out my favorite tonight and it's worth staying up for and then you see the interception and again
29:34when you lose a wager on the interception as well it makes it equally as damaging it's just a tough
29:39night man I'm gonna need multiple naps today but it is what it is now's the time of the show we like

30:32more consistency throughout the season uh we've got a lot of surprises in the AFC but I would caution
30:39that doesn't necessarily mean the AFC can't win this thing so there's still a lot of football to go but
30:46right now I agree with the public the NFC should be the front runner uh no matter who comes out of it to
30:52win it all
