FRANKIE (25), from Sydney, is the ultimate cyber goth! Her style is inspired by interstellar sci-fi horror, which, paired with alien elements, completes her edgy neon look! Frankie says that she's always been drawn to alternative fashions, and from the moment she hit 14 years old, she dived in and never looked back. Frankie told Transformed: "Going to an all-girls Catholic school was quite tricky and difficult because I was unable to find my true sense of self and style. Having these strong and strict uniform guidelines forced onto us just felt redundant to me". Despite Frankie's strength in finding her real self and cyber goth style, she has faced a lot of judgement and backlash in her hometown because of how much she stands out from the local people there. This has never deterred her from expressing herself through her aesthetic, but dealing with hate is something she has to deal with daily. Frankie said, "The public absolutely hates my style. I've had people scream at me on the street, have called me a freak and a weirdo. There was this one instance where a group of teenage boys were yelling insults at me, and a McDonald's Fanta was thrown at me as the car passed. But hey, it's water off a duck's back". Today, Frankie has decided to change her look and become 'Sydney glamorous' with the help of makeup artist Rachel, but will she finally feel accepted in her hometown?
