00:00I'm like tattooed Jessica Rabbit.
00:03Walking around on the street, people stare, people tut.
00:07My husband hasn't seen me without tattoos since forever,
00:11so I want to kind of scare him and make him think,
00:14who is that, who am I married to?
00:15Come on, let's have a look.
00:21Oh my god.
00:22Oh my god.
00:24Jordan, do you still fancy her?
00:30Hi, I'm Shelley, I'm your makeup artist.
00:33Hi, I'm Alicia, come in.
00:35My name's Alicia and I have 90% of my body tattooed.
00:38Yeah, 90%.
00:40My style, I would say that I'm a inked up Daphne from Scooby-Doo,
00:44but I think I have a bit more, a bit more bite, I don't know.
00:48I don't need Fred to tell me who I am, so.
00:50It started since I was 14 and I bought my first kit online
00:53and it's sort of been just snowballing from there.
00:55How long have I spent in the chair being tattooed?
00:58Oh my god.
00:59I would say like 100 hours plus, more.
01:02I can't even, I've lost count.
01:04It's just whenever I get a free minute.
01:06Tattoos are a huge part of me and my identity
01:08and I genuinely don't know how I'm going to feel if I don't have them.
01:11Today, I decided to do this transformation because I wanted to see
01:15if I regret any of my tattoos and maybe if I regret my face tattoo.
01:19I am nervous and I don't know why, which is really weird.
01:22I'm thinking maybe it's because I'm a bit worried that maybe my friends
01:25and husband might prefer me without, I don't know.
01:28Want to take a seat for me?
01:29Yeah.
01:30We're going to take off your base makeup first.
01:33It's okay.
01:34Show the forehead off.
01:37So I started off with the Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream.
01:40This is going to give a beautiful hydration to the skin
01:42and help all the products melt seamlessly to give it a flawless finish.
01:46I've wanted tats since I was seven and I've always known that I'd love to be covered.
01:49My first was a little ghost on my leg.
01:51He's there.
01:52You just see him poking out.
01:55I bought my own tattooing kit at about 14 with some pocket money,
01:59because I didn't have a job.
02:00And I went upstairs to my room at night when everyone was in bed
02:03and I sticking poked my legs, arms, sternum.
02:07Yeah.
02:08I started to practice, so I knew they'd be covered someday.
02:11My end goal is to be fully tattooed, pretty much.
02:14So a whole body suit, apart from my eyeballs and my head,
02:17because I don't want to shave my head.
02:19Yeah, everywhere.
02:20So now we're going to start the process of covering up your tattoos.
02:22Okay.
02:23Are you ready?
02:24It's very exciting.
02:25Oh my God, it's cold.
02:26Oh, sorry.
02:27Matte face and body in order to give a sheer veil all over the skin
02:31to help all the makeup blend in unison.
02:36So what makes you decide to do this transformation today?
02:39If I'm honest, I can't really remember what I look like without face tattoos.
02:43So we've just now evened out the base
02:45and now we're going to go in with the color correction.
02:47So does your husband have any tattoos?
02:49He's got like his whole face, his neck, chest.
02:52I met my husband in his tattoo studio,
02:55which now we co-own together, which is really cool.
02:57Before we were together, I said to him that I wanted a body suit
03:00and he said, well, I want to start a big project
03:03and I want to do a body suit and it'll be free
03:05if you sort of let me have free reign of the design.
03:07I wanted more floral design.
03:09I wanted to be a bit more feminine.
03:11That's when we came up with the oil spill effect
03:13with some paint strips to make it look a bit darker
03:15and then the flowers to kind of keep with the florally feminineness.
03:18The story about how I tattooed my face is we were meant to,
03:21we went into tattooing my arm.
03:23I was laying on the bed and he's getting his machine ready
03:26and he goes, let's just do your face.
03:27And I was like, okay, yeah, no worry about it.
03:30Let's just get on with it.
03:31Next, I went in with the Made by Mitchell Curve Case
03:34in a color correcting shade and I mixed two shades together
03:37in order to neutralize the really dark areas of the tattoo.
03:40I then use the MAC Prep and Prime translucent powder
03:43to add a sheer layer of powder to lock in the color corrector.
03:46Do you get like much hate on it?
03:48Walking around on the street, people stare, people tut.
03:52I've had an old lady called me a stupid .
03:54I've been followed around shopping because people think
03:57I'm a thief for some reason, that I'm going to steal something.
04:00I get loads telling me I were in my face, that I'm ugly.
04:03You're never going to find a man and it's like one,
04:05I don't need to find a man and two, I do have a man.
04:08So now that all the coverage is done and we've covered your tattoos,
04:10we're going to lock it in place
04:11and I'm going to use the L'Oreal Invaluable Setting Spray.
04:14I have loads basically telling me that I'm never going to get a job.
04:17My best, it actually happened the other day
04:19and I took my stepdaughter to a play center with my husband
04:22and this little girl comes up to me, she goes,
04:23what have you done to your face?
04:25And I just burst out laughing because kids are too innocent.
04:28It was adorable.
04:29Now that we've covered all the tattoos,
04:30we're going to do a simple glam on the face now.
04:33So who are you revealing your look to today?
04:35I'm revealing my look to my husband today
04:37and my friend Casey and two other friends, Carlos and Tashiana.
04:42How do you think your husband will react?
04:44I don't think he's going to be very shocked
04:46and I think he's going to be like,
04:47ew, I don't know, get this woman away from me.
04:50Where's my wife gone?
04:51How are you feeling right now?
04:53I don't know, I feel a bit nervous,
04:54a bit like, oh my God, what am I going to see in the mirror?
04:57Okay.
04:58Three, two, one.
05:00Oh my God, ew.
05:05Oh my God, I look nothing like myself.
05:08Oh my goodness.
05:09Isn't it so insane?
05:11I literally don't know how to feel.
05:13Oh my God.
05:14I look normal.
05:15I look like normal Daphne now.
05:18I really like the jumpsuit though.
05:21I can really suit you.
05:22You're a glam girlie.
05:23You're a glam girlie.
05:24I really am.
05:25I just, yeah, I definitely prefer myself with tattoos.
05:29Yeah.
05:30Hundred percent.
05:31Hundred percent.
05:32I think it's been so long as well, like,
05:33is it for the shock factor?
05:34Yeah.
05:35Oh my God.
05:36I look like I'm like 16 again.
05:38How are you feeling right now?
05:40Thankful I'm tattooed, if I'm honest.
05:42I'm really thankful.
05:44So no regrets?
05:45No, not one regret.
05:46No, not at all.
05:47So how do you think your husband is going to react to seeing this?
05:49I think he's going to be like, no, that's disgusting.
05:51Like who?
05:52No, that's not what we were expecting.
05:54Yeah.
05:55I think he'll be like, you look like some normal lady now.
05:59Come on.
06:00Come on.
06:01Let's have a look.
06:02Tisha, where are you?
06:06Hey!
06:10Oh my days.
06:12Oh my?
06:13That's disgusting.
06:14Sorry.
06:15That's horrible.
06:16I told you.
06:18I hate myself.
06:19No.
06:21It's wrong, isn't it?
06:22Yeah.
06:23It's so wrong.
06:24Okay.
06:25Don't get me wrong.
06:26It's kissing baddie.
06:27No, it's not.
06:28Look at the shoes.
06:30It's just not.
06:31It's not me.
06:32No.
06:33It's not me.
06:34It's not you.
06:35Oh my God.
06:36Are you still in love with me?
06:39No.
06:41You look too young again.
06:42It's just weird, isn't it?
06:43Oh, she's older.
06:44Is it older?
06:45Yeah, I think I'm like my mum.
06:46Yeah.
06:47This, it's.
06:48Yeah.
06:49I'm like, no, where's the neck?
06:50No.
06:51Yeah.
06:52Where's the face?
06:53Yeah.
06:54That's crazy.
06:55Not a 10 out of 10?
06:56No.
06:57I'm not a hater.
07:00Yeah.
07:01Six, six and a half.
07:03Yeah.
07:04Just so normal.
07:05I think you've lost like, ooh, like jawline, everything.
07:09Like the cheeks.
07:10What?
07:11No.
07:12You're like just flat.
07:13Oh, sorry.
07:15No, you're like flat again.
07:17Like just flat.
07:18Okay.
07:19Yeah.
07:20You know what I mean?
07:21Humbling.
07:22Because we work the tattoos around the body shape.
07:23Yeah.
07:24Okay.
07:25Jordan, do you still fancy her?
07:28This is your wife.
07:29Yeah, it's a tricky one.
07:30Ooh.
07:31So, no, not at all.
07:33Like if this was it, it's like looking at Casey.
07:38Like, this is what it does to me.
07:40Like, you're just so normal.
07:41So you would love me then?
07:43No.
07:44It's fading as we're talking.
07:47Everyone was roasting me like it was some like roast battle,
07:49which I'm kind of moody about, but whatever.
07:51But honestly, I do agree with their reactions.
07:53Oh, I'm offended by Johnny's reaction really.
07:56Might get a divorce after this.
07:58No joking.
07:59I think that, yeah, he's overreacting, but he still loves me deep down.
08:04This experience has taught me that I am thankful for my tattoos,
08:07that I do not regret any of them at all.
08:09And yeah, I'm very thankful that Johnny did tattoo me.
