00:00It's now time to check in with Rochelle for more in tonight's weather forecast.

00:09Here's what happened today. Scattered showers with isolated heavy rainfall
00:13moved across Trinidad this morning as the day progressed.
00:17Additional showers and thunderstorms occurred in both islands,
00:22but particularly over Trinidad's eastern region.
00:25More reports of falling trees were recorded.
00:28Note that the adverse weather alert number three, yellow level,
00:32remains in effect until Friday the 5th of December at 12 p.m.
00:36Again, prisons are reminded to secure loose outdoor objects.
00:40Motorists and residents in areas prone to flooding or landslides
00:44should remain alert and exercise caution.
00:46Take necessary precautions to mitigate potential impacts
00:49and monitor official weather updates.
00:52Now for conditions in Portisby, currently we have some light rain
00:56with temperatures at 27 degrees and winds coming east-southeast
01:00at 9 kmph. Humidity is at 78%.
01:04Over in Tobago, there's moderate rain this time
01:07with temperatures also at 27 degrees
01:09and we have winds coming from the east at 17 kmph.
01:13Humidity also at 78%.
01:16Taking a look at tonight, it will be generally settled conditions
01:20that will be interrupted by some periodic rainfall of variable intensity.
01:25We have minimum temperatures at 24 degrees in Trinidad
01:28and 25 over in Tobago.
01:31If you're wearing your best outfit tomorrow
01:33or your favorite hairstyle,
01:35avoid getting stuck sheltering at any random place
01:39and walk with your ambulance
01:40because tomorrow will be partly cloudy and breezy
01:43with periods of increased cloud cover
01:45and showers that will favor the morning,
01:48particularly over the southern half of Trinidad.
01:52There's a low chance of the odd isolated thunderstorm.
01:55We have maximum temperatures expected at 31 degrees in both islands.

02:04Well, Saturday is looking a bit promising
02:07with initially sunny skies.
02:09However, there is a possibility for increased cloud cover
02:12and scattered showers later in the day.
02:14The chance of isolated thunderstorm activity is low.
02:18Maximum temperatures are forecast at around 31 degrees
02:21in both Trinidad and Tobago.
02:23But on Sunday, the gloomy skies and periods of rain will continue.
02:28Generally, cloudy skies with rainfall are varied intensity.
02:32There's a medium chance of thunderstorm activity as well.
02:35Maximum temperatures are getting down to 28 degrees
02:38in Trinidad and 29 in Tobago.
