00:00Let's check in with Rochelle now for more tonight's weather forecast.
00:03Thanks, Disha. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago.
00:06I hope you guys had a great weekend.
00:08It's now time for your weather.
00:10We're starting things off with what happened today.
00:13Some of you would have started your morning asking,
00:15you feel that?
00:16And no, you weren't going crazy
00:18as two earthquakes occurred near Trinidad and Tobago this morning.
00:22The first, a magnitude 5.1 earthquake, struck at 5.45 a.m.
00:27with its epicenter approximately 24 kilometers northeast of Scarborough
00:32and 126 kilometers northeast of Portisbane.
00:35About an hour later, at 6.55 a.m.,
00:39a magnitude 5.0 earthquake occurred at a depth of 80 kilometers
00:44with its epicenter at approximately 69 kilometers northwest of Portisbane
00:48and 103 kilometers northwest of San Fernando.
00:53I personally didn't feel any of them.
00:55Moving on to conditions tonight.
00:57Tonight will be mainly fair but hazy except for a few brief showers
01:02with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in both islands.
01:06And tomorrow, you can look out for mostly sunshine.
01:08As the Met Office says, predominantly sunny, hazy, and breezy conditions expected
01:14despite a low chance of brief showers.
01:16So, walk with the umbrellas just in case.
01:19Don't want any rain ruining your day.
01:21Daytime temperatures will reach up to 32 degrees in Trinidad and 31 in Tobago.
01:27And to have an even better day, walk with your face mask to avoid those runny nose and coughing
01:33because Saharan dust is expected and moderate levels.
01:37So, now looking at the next two days, Wednesday will be initially sunny, slightly hazy, and breezy,
01:43becoming partly cloudy with scattered showers by late afternoon.
01:46And on Thursday, cloudy periods of rainfall and the medium chance of thunderstorm activity is expected.
01:54Gradual settling is expected towards evening.
01:56Let's take a look at our sun times now.
01:58In Trinidad, sunrise is at 552 and 548 in Tobago.
02:02And sunset at 632 in Trinidad and 629 in Tobago.
02:06And if the beach is your destination of choice tomorrow, seas will be moderate with waves 1.5 metres to
02:122 metres in open waters
02:14and below 1 metre in sheltered areas.
02:16It's now time for your tight times.
02:26Well, that's all for weather tonight.
02:29Sachin, so much happened over the long weekend.
02:31Spain is the 2026 World Cup champion and Mbappe broke some records as well.
02:38Yeah, he surely did.
02:39He fought tooth and nail for the golden boot and finally came home with the big prize.
02:43Now, Spain make victorious return home.
02:45We have all the reactions of that.
