00:00So let's get right to it and start off with the National Football League last night.

00:04The Patriots just keep on rolling.

00:05Another big win this time against the Giants.

00:09The Patriots just beat whoever they are thrown in front of them

00:11as they're headed toward maybe the number one seed in the AFC.

00:15In fact, they're right now minus 110 on the FanDuel Sportsbook

00:18after last night's 33-15 win.

00:21Greg May, 282 yards and two touchdowns.

00:25Ten straight games, 23-plus points.

00:28Their defense also doing the job, holding teams down 23 or fewer points

00:33in the last ten games or the first team in NFL history to do that.

00:37As of right now, things are going the way of the Patriots,

00:41says Mike Rabel, who was happy with the performance after the game.

00:45I think they handled it well.

00:46I mean, we had some positive plays, obviously, offensively.

00:50We need to be better in the red zone.

00:52But, you know, I thought that they did well.

00:56Again, from first view, we'll have to see what things go on tomorrow.

01:00It was a penalty that cost us a touchdown, so that's tough.

01:03But, you know, a lot of good things to build on and continue to improve

01:08and, you know, really focus on things that we're going to have to do

01:12a little bit better down the stretch here.

01:14But, you know, I think that just proud of what the team has done week in

01:19and week out, whatever the challenge was

01:22and whatever has been presented to us.

01:24You thought about running and maybe just maybe thought,

01:26hey, after that hit, maybe not run or something?

01:29No, it didn't hurt, so that didn't play any thought in my mind.

01:34Do you think taking that aggressiveness away from you

01:38would take you away from your game?

01:40Absolutely.

01:43Like I said, I've played like this my whole life.

01:45Like, I'm going to turn on my high school tape

01:46and turn on my college tape.

01:47Like, it's not like a shocker to anybody.

01:51It felt like if you just watched the game, like, I did slide.

01:54I did avoid a lot of hits.

01:55So, like, you're going to get hit.

02:06Meanwhile, Justin Herbert took a big hit on Sunday.

02:09He did have surgery to that hand issue that he had.

02:13It was a small fracture.

02:14He is day-to-day.

02:16Chargers are saying he still could potentially play on Monday Night Football.

02:19Remains to be seen.

02:21Andy Reid also remains confident the Kansas City Chiefs

02:25are having one of their worst seasons in almost a decade.

02:28That is right.

02:28The Chiefs on the outside looking in over the AFC playoffs right now.

02:32But Andy Reid is steadfast in the approach.

02:34It says, in the time, the Chiefs will fight their way in.

02:39I mean, I believe you come – if you're coming to me on this, Matt,

02:50We're going to try to tickle your tonsils on every play, every game.

02:55And – but that's the attitude that we're coming in with.

03:01And then you let the Chiefs fall where they may.

03:04But at the same time, you've got to make sure you take care of the small things here

03:08that we've got rolling.

03:09We've got to make sure that we get rid of some of these mistakes.

03:12But there's not a game that I go into that I don't think we're going to get after you.

03:19Meanwhile, Sauce Gardner of the Indianapolis Colts, of course,

03:22who they acquired from the New York Jets at the trade deadline,

03:25has an Achilles issue that he suffered in this past weekend's loss against Houston.

03:29Shane Steichen spoke about Sauce, how long he could be out.

03:32But in regards to Sauce, it's his calf.

03:37His Achilles is good to go.

03:39But probably missed some time.

03:41How much time, I do not know at the moment right now.

03:44When he's out, do you see it just like Mooney stepping right back into that kind of top dog role?

03:51Are you guys going to kind of have to piecemeal it?

04:13Devin Williams, formerly of the New York Yankees, is going to Queens,

04:17signs a three-year contract with the New York Mets worth $45 million.

04:21Williams, of course, could either close or maybe set up,

04:23depending on what the Mets decide to do.

04:26Getting a little bit of a trickle in free agency with the winter meetings

04:28starting on Sunday night and Monday.

04:30Meanwhile, in the National Basketball Association,

04:33the red-hot Los Angeles Lakers finally lose a game.

04:36They had won seven games in a row.

04:37The Suns beat them 125-108.

04:40That was the final there.

04:41We'll see how Devin Booker is.

04:42He left the game with a groin injury.

04:44The star of the game for Phoenix was Dylan Brooks.

04:47He had 33 points.

04:49This one, also, LeBron had exactly 10 points to extend his streak

04:53to 1,297 consecutive games, which is incredible with 10-plus points.

04:58J.J. Redick, disappointed afterwards, said he let the Suns get the best.

06:17But, hey, Anthony Davis came through for Dallas yesterday against Denver.

06:21He had 32 points, 13 rebounds amidst some trade rumors surrounding AD.

06:27Yeah, I thought AD's defense and offense was really good.

06:31I think his teammates were getting used to playing with him,

06:33and, you know, this is the second game.

06:36So, for them to get used to him, but I thought he was big.

06:39I'm happy that he came back after he jammed his finger

06:42from that pass from Najee on the rim.

06:45But, again, we need him defensively.

06:48I thought he came up with a big stop there late,

06:50but offensively he was good, too.

06:51Just taking what the defense gave him.

06:53And also, you had some big shots there from Clayton.

06:59So, we're going to try to get the ocean into Dallas somehow.

07:05Again, I think the conscious effort of the group trying to get him open

07:10and get him shots, and he's delivered for us.

07:16Man, the Miami Heat have been red hot on offense.

07:18They put up 140 last night against the Los Angeles Clippers.

07:21They've been one of the best teams in the NBA offensively.

07:24As far as the Clippers go, they lose yet again.

07:27They've had a really tough start to their season.

07:29Eric Volstra talking about not just the offense coming through,

07:33but their defense in a big way in the win against L.A.

07:36You know, the bigger story, I think, was the defensive activity

07:39through, you know, the first three quarters-ish.

07:43I loved what the starters brought from an energy standpoint.

07:48Davion on the ball, but, you know, he's just – he's so unique and tough on the ball

07:58against, you know, some of the best players in the league.

08:01And then Wiggs and Bam were so active also, and I thought Tyler and Norm did a very good job

08:10either on the weak side or when they were called up into screens.

08:16It was really good to see the starters respond, you know, the way they did.

08:20I really liked what they did at the start of the third quarter, too.

08:24Hard to call any game where the Bucs lose in an upset at this point.

08:29They lost 8 out of 9. They lost to Washington.
