00:00So over here, you can see that I have a bunch of data right here in table. And let's say what I
00:09want to do is I want to go ahead and filter it out right here. That is, filter it out on the
00:16basis of location, on the basis of active and inactive, and so forth. In that case, I can go
00:21ahead and select out the table cell right here. And then I can go around over here onto data,
00:26and then I can click on filter. Once you do that, you can see that the topmost rule is selected out
00:32right here. And I can go ahead and expand out and select out what I want to filter it with.
00:38For example, I can go ahead and let's say, for example, select this particular city.
00:42And then you can see based on that location, you get the filter, you can expand it out and select
00:47another city, and you would only get the filter based on that. Similarly, now let's also go ahead
00:54and filter it out based on status. And what happens is that it filters out the data right
01:00here, just like this. So you can have multiple filters as well. So this is what you have. As
01:05you can see, the data are not deleted, it is still there. So if I were to actually go around over here
01:10and remove the filter, you would get the data back as it is. And that is how you can simply go ahead
01:16and use the data filter option in Microsoft Excel. So I hope you guys learn something as always.
01:23And as always, please like, comment, share, and subscribe.
