00:00so right now around over here you can see that I got multiple workbooks right here and if I

00:10were to right click then I am able to delete it rename it move or copy and so forth but let's

00:15say I want to go ahead and restrict that access to the users in that case you can go ahead and

00:21then password protect your workbook for that so to do that I can go around over here onto the

00:26review section and here you can see that protect workbook is an option so let me just go around

00:32and click right here and then I can simply enter out a password right here so let's just go ahead

00:38and re-enter out the password right here and once you do that I still can make changes to the data

00:43right here just like this but if I were to right click then you don't have an option to insert out

00:49any extra workbook right here or you don't have an option to delete it out right here just like this

00:55you cannot add an extra seats right here you can simply view the code but you don't have an

01:00option to change tab color hide unhide and so forth right here you can select it but you cannot make

01:05any changes if you want to go ahead and then make changes to it then you can simply click on protect

01:11workbook right here in the review section then type in let's say the password that you added in press ok

01:16and then now you will have access to all of the editing options now so that is how you can go ahead

01:23and password protect out your workbook so that you cannot make changes onto the tabs in the excel
