00:10In a new interview with British GQ, the actor opened up about how a project can be enjoyable to shoot
00:15and still end up not being well-liked due to problems in post-production, and then name-dropped the film.
00:21I've been a part of a lot of things that really sucked, and movies where it's out of your hands.
00:26Conan the Barbarian was one of them.
00:27It's one of the best experiences I had, and it was taken over and turned into a big pile of sh**.
00:33The 2011 film was released the same year that the actor made his Game of Thrones debut as Khal Drogo,
00:38and was based on the books by Robert E. Howard.
00:41His work also inspired the 1982 Arnold Schwarzenegger starring action film of the same name.
00:47Momoa did not go into further detail about what specifically bothered him about how his Conan the Barbarian turned out,
00:53but clearly it might not come as a huge surprise.
00:56The Lionsgate film underperformed at the box office and currently holds a 25% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
