00:00Johnny Knoxville has broken his silence over accusations from Jackass co-star Bam Margera.
00:05Margera has been somewhat of a regular fixture on TMZ as of late, bashing Knoxville and everyone
00:09else involved with Jackass 4, including director Jeff Tremaine, after he was fired from the film.
00:15Margera, who has been in and out of rehab a number of times, apparently broke his contract
00:19due to mandates related to his substance abuse. Margera later claimed the expectations were not
00:24fair and likened the situation to, quote, torture. Now Knoxville has addressed the matter in a new
00:29GQ profile. The 50-year-old actor and stuntman said,
00:32We want Bam to be happy and healthy and get the help he needs. We tried to push that along.
00:37I think that's all I really want to say about it. He later added,
00:40I don't want to get into a public back and forth with Bam. I just want him to get better.
00:44The magazine contacted Margera, who confirmed he was booted off the picture. He told GQ,
00:48It hurts my heart because I've waited 10 years for this.
00:51Margera was a part of the original MTV series and appeared in the previous three Jackass films.
