00:17in the respective categories of Best Actress and Actor in a Comedy Series. However, their co-star
00:22Martin Short did receive a performance nomination. Plus, Ford was widely expected to be recognized by
00:28the Emmys this year for his roles in Shrinking and 1923. Instead, he failed to earn a nomination
00:33for either performance despite Shrinking landing multiple nods. 1923, on the other hand, is just
00:38one of several Taylor Sheridan shows that were shut out of this year's Emmy nominations, with Yellowstone
00:43also failing to land any nods. Meanwhile, Love and Death was among the shows expected to score
00:48multiple nominations that instead only received one nod. While Jesse Plemons landed a Best Supporting
00:54Actor nomination for the Limited Series star Olsen was snubbed. Other performance category snubs
00:59include Emma Darcy for House of the Dragon and Daisy Jones and the Six star Sam Claflin.
01:04In terms of surprises, Jury Duty on Amazon Freebie received an unexpected nomination for Best Comedy
01:10Series. James Marsden also received a nod for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the show.
01:15Plus, Welcome to Chippendales scored an unexpected four nominations across the performance categories,
01:20and Obi-Wan Kenobi scored a surprise nod for Best Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
