00:31and Critics' Choice nominations was Battle of the Sexes about the historic tennis match
00:36between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs, played by Emma Stone and Steve Carell, respectively.
00:41James Franco was thought likely to land a Best Actor nomination, but he wasn't included
00:45in this year's five nominees for his work in The Disaster Artist after he faced a number
00:49of sexual misconduct allegations. Other snubs included Steven Spielberg for his work
00:54on The Post in the Best Director category, The Post's star Tom Hanks for Best Actor,
00:58Call Me By Your Name's Armie Hammer and Michael Stuhlbarg in the Supporting Actor category,
01:02Despicable Me 3 and Cars 3 for Animated Feature,

01:07Downsizing's Hong Chao and Girl Strip Breakout Tiffany Haddish, who helped announce
01:11this year's nominations for Best Supporting Actress, and I, Tonya in the Best Picture category.

01:17While three billboards outside Ebbing, Missouri landed seven nominations, including Best Picture,
01:22Best Actress for Frances McDormand, and Best Supporting Actor for Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson,
01:27the film's director, Martin McDonagh, was left out of the Best Director field.
01:30Well-received films The Big Sick, The Florida Project and Molly's Game each only picked up
01:35one nomination for Best Original Screenplay, Supporting Actor for Willem Dafoe,
01:39and Adapted Screenplay, respectively.
