00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, the Lord be with you.
00:20Dear brothers and sisters, today we are celebrating the feast of St. Catherine of Alexandria,
00:26Virgin and Martyr. Dear friends, let us come before God as we are. Let us acknowledge our
00:34human frailties and littleness before God as we prepare ourselves to celebrate these sacred mysteries.
00:44You are sent to heal the contrite of heart. Lord have mercy. You came to call sinners.
00:51Christ have mercy. You are seated at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. Lord have mercy.
01:03May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and lead us into life everlasting.
01:10Let us pray.
01:16Almighty ever-living God, who gave St. Catherine of Alexandria to your people as a virgin and invisible
01:26martyr, grant that through her intercession, we may be strengthened in faith and constancy
01:34to spend ourselves without risk for the unity of the Church.
01:41Through the Lord Jesus Christ our Son, who leads and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
01:47God, forever and ever.
01:49The one sitting on the throne spoke. Now I am making the whole of creation new, he said.
02:10Write this, that what I am saying is sure and will come true.
02:17And then he said, it is already done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end.
02:28I will give water for the well of life, free to enumer anybody who is thirsty.
02:35It is the rightful inheritance of the one who proves victorious.
02:40And I will be his God, and he a son to me.
02:47The word of the Lord.
02:50Your response.
02:52Our soul has escaped like a bird from the hunter's net.
02:58Our soul has escaped like a bird from the hunter's net.
03:02The good waters has engulfed us, the torrent goned over us.
03:13Our soul has escaped like a bird from the hunter's net.
03:21Our soul has escaped like a bird from the hunter's net.
03:22The good waters has engulfed us, the torrent goned over us.
03:27Our soul has escaped like a bird from the hunter's net.
03:36Indeed, the snare has been broken, and we have escaped.
03:43Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
03:47The response.
03:49Our soul has escaped like a bird from the hunter's net.
03:55Alleluia, Alleluia.
03:58This is a wise pridesmaid, whom the Lord found waiting.
04:03At his coming, she went in with him to the wedding.
04:09Alleluia.
04:12The Lord be with you.
04:14A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew.
04:17Glory to you, O Lord.
04:21Jesus said to his apostles,
04:24Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul.
04:30Fear him rather, who cannot destroy both body and the soul in hell.
04:38Can you not buy two sparrows for a penny?
04:42And yet, not one falls to the ground without your father knowing.
04:48Why, every hair of your head has been counted.
04:52So there is no need to be afraid.
04:57You are worth more than hundreds of sparrows.
05:01So if anyone declares himself for me in the presence of people,
05:06I will declare myself for him in the presence of my Father in heaven.
05:10But the one who disowns me in the presence of people,
05:15I will disown in the presence of my Father in heaven.
05:20Brothers and sisters, the Gospel of the Lord.
05:23Blessed are you, O Lord, God of all creation,
05:34for through your goodness we have received this bread we offer you,
05:37fruit of the earth and work of human hands.
05:39It will become for us our bread of life.
05:42God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received this bread we offer you,
06:05fruit of the vine and work of human hands.
06:06It will become for us our spiritual bread.
06:09God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received this bread.
06:15God of all creation, for through your goodness we have received this bread.
06:23Pray brothers and sisters, that my sacrifice and yours may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father.
06:29May the offerings we bring in celebration of Blessed Catherine of Alexandria.
06:42Bring your gracious acceptance, O Lord, we pray,
06:46just as the struggle of her suffering and passion was pleasing to you, through Christ our Lord.
06:53The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
07:04It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere to give you thanks,
07:11Lord, Holy Father, almighty and eternal God. For the blood of your blessed martyr,
07:18said Catherine of Alexandria, pour out like Christ's glory your name.
07:25Show forth your marvelous works, by which in our weaknesses you perfect your power,
07:32and on the feeble, bestow strength to bear your witness to Christ our Lord.
07:39And so, with the powers of heaven, we worship you constantly on earth,
07:44and before your majesty, as without end, we acclaim,
07:50Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God our host, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
07:56Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord.
08:08You are indeed holy, O Lord, and fount of all holiness.
08:12May we call you, therefore, this, if we pray, by sending down your spirit upon them like a deer fowl,
08:18so that they may become for us the body and the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
08:23At the time he was betrayed, he entered willingly into his passion.
08:29He took bread, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying,
08:36Take this, all of you, and eat of it, for this is my body, which will be given up for you.
08:53In a similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice, and once more giving thanks,
09:06he came to his disciples, saying, Take this, all of you, and drink from it,
09:13for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
09:18which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins.
09:25Do this in memory of me.
09:39The mystery of faith.
09:42We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection until you come again.
09:48Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection,
09:54we offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
09:58giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
10:05Humbly we pray that, partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
10:11we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
10:14Remember, Lord, your church, spread throughout the world,
10:18and bring her to the fullness of charity,
10:21together with Leo, our Pope, and Charles, our Bishop, and all the clergy.
10:27Remember your servant, Gerard, whom you have called from this world to yourself.
10:33Grant that he who was united with your son,
10:36in a death like his, may also be one with him in his resurrection.
10:40We have also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hope of the resurrection,
10:47and all who have died in your mercy.
10:50Welcome them into the light of your face.
10:54Have mercy on us all, we pray,
10:56that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
10:59St. Joseph her spouse,
11:01with the Blessed Apostles,
11:03St. Catherine of Alexandria,
11:04and all the saints who have pleased you throughout the ages,
11:10we may merit to be coerous to eternal life.
11:13And we praise and glorify you
11:15through your Son, Jesus Christ.
11:18Through him, and with him, and in him,
11:26O God, Almighty Father,
11:28in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
11:31all glory and honour is yours,
11:34forever and ever.
11:37Amen.
11:38At the Saviour's command and formed by divine teaching,
11:43we dare to pray.
11:44Our Father,
11:46who are in heaven,
11:47hallowed be thy name.
11:49Thy kingdom come,
11:50thy will be done,
11:51on earth as it is in heaven.
11:53Give us this day our daily bread,
11:56and forgive us our trespasses,
11:58as we forgive those who trespass against us,
12:01and lead us not into temptation,
12:04but deliver us from evil.
12:05Deliver us, Lord,
12:07we pray from every evil,
12:09and graciously grant peace in our days,
12:12that by the help of your mercy,
12:15we may be always free from sin,
12:17and saved from all distress,
12:20as you were the blessed hope,
12:21and the coming of our Saviour,
12:23Jesus Christ,
12:25for the kingdom,
12:26the power,
12:27and the glory are yours,
12:28now and forever.
12:29Lord Jesus Christ,
12:31who said to your apostles,
12:33Peace I leave you,
12:34my peace I give you,
12:36look not on our sins,
12:38but on the faith of your church,
12:40and graciously grant her peace and unity,
12:43in accordance with your will,
12:45who live and reign forever and ever.
12:48Peace of the Lord,
12:50be with you always.
12:51Let us offer each other a sign of peace.
12:54Peace, Lord.

13:34behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
13:39Happy are we,
13:40who are called,
13:41to the supper of the Lamb.
13:44Lord,
13:44I am not worthy,
13:45that you should end under my roof,
13:47but only say the word,
13:48and my soul shall be healed.
13:50I am not worthy of Christ,
13:52but only say the Lord shall be healed.
13:53Amen.
