Catholic Mass Today I Daily Holy Mass I Monday November 17 2025 I English Holy Mass
Transcript
00:00In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. The grace of our Lord
00:19Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all, and with your
00:24Holy Spirit. Let us take a moment to accept all our failures and weaknesses, the times we fail to
00:29listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Let us pray the grace to listen, grace to understand
00:40the guidance, and the grace to live that body in this present situation.
00:54Let us acknowledge all the times we failed, the times we failed to understand, and the
01:03times we haven't listened to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and ask pardon for that.
01:09And prepare ourselves to celebrate the sacred mysteries.
01:11I confess to Almighty God, and you my brothers and sisters, that have greatly sinned in my thoughts,
01:29and my words, in what I have done, and what I have prayed to do, through my fault, through my fault,
01:36through my most grievous fault. Therefore I ask Blessed Mary our Virgin,
01:41all the angels and saints, and you my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God.
01:49May Almighty God have mercy on us, forgive us our sins, and bring us to everlasting life.
01:56Lord have mercy, Christ have mercy, Lord have mercy.
02:03Let us pray. O God, by whose gift Saint Elizabeth of Hungary recognized and revealed Christ in the poor,
02:16grant through her indecision, that we may serve with unfailing charity the needy and those afflicted.
02:25Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
02:31God forever and ever.
02:44We are reading from the first letter of Saint John.
02:48We have passed out of death into life, and of this we can be sure, because we love our brothers.
02:56If you refuse to love, you must remain dead. To hate your brother is to be a murder,
03:06and murderers, as you know, do not have eternal life in them. This has taught us love,
03:13that he gave up his life for us, and we too ought to give up our lives for our brothers.
03:22If a man who was rich enough in this world's goods, saw that once one of his brothers was in need,
03:34but closed his heart to him, how could the love of God be living in him?
03:41My children, our love is not to be just words or mere talk, but something real and active.
03:50I will bless the Lord at all times, his praise always on my lips.
04:10In the Lord my soul shall make its boast, the humble shall hear and be glad.
04:16Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.
04:20Glorify the Lord with me together, let us praise his name.
04:24I sought the Lord and he answered me, from all my terrors he set me free.
04:31Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.
04:35Look towards him and be radiant.
04:38Let your faces not be abashed.
04:41This poor man called, the Lord heard him and rescued him from all his distress.
04:49Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.
04:52The angel of the Lord is encamped around those who revere him to rescue him.
04:59Taste and see the Lord is good.
05:02He is happy who seeks refuge in him.
05:06Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.
05:08Alleluia, Alleluia, I give you a new commandment.
05:35Love one another as I have loved you.
05:38Alleluia, Alleluia.
05:42The Lord be with you, reading from the Holy Gospel according to Luke.
05:50Jesus said to his disciples,
05:52I say this to you who are listening. Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you.
06:01Bless those who curse you. Pray for those who treat you badly.
06:08To the man who slaps you on one cheek, present the other cheek too.
06:13To the man who takes your cloak from you, do not refuse your tunic.
06:18Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask for your property back from the man who robs you.
06:28Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
06:32If you love those who love you, what thanks can you expect?
06:37Even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you,
06:44what thanks can you expect? For even sinners do that much.
06:51And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what thanks can you expect?
06:58Even sinners lend to sinners to get back the same amount. Instead, love your enemies and do good,
07:08and lend without any hope of return. You will have a great reward, and you will be sons of the Most High.
07:17For he himself is kind to the ungrateful and the wicked.
07:22Be compassionate as your father is compassionate. Do not judge, and you will not be judged yourself.
07:29Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned yourselves. Grant pardon, and you will be pardoned.
07:37Give, and there will be gifts for you. A full measure, pressed down, shaken together, or running over,
07:45will be poured into your lap, because the amount you measure out is the amount you will be given back.
07:52The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
08:04Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For through your goodness we have received the bread we offer you.
08:09Through the earth and work of human hands, it will become for us the bread of life. Blessed be God forever.
08:15Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For through your goodness we have received the bread of the Lord.
08:32Blessed are you, Lord God of all creation. For through your goodness we have received the wine we offer you.
08:46Fruit of the wine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink.
08:51Fruit of the wine and work of human hands, it will become our spiritual drink, and it will become our spiritual drink.
09:07We pray brothers and sisters that by sacrifice and rewards may be acceptable to God the Almighty Father,
09:15or accept the sacrifice at your hands, for the praise and glory of his name, for our good and
09:20good of all this Holy Church.
09:21Give to those who make sacrificial offerings at your altar, O Lord, the spirit of devotion which you
09:32instilled in your saints, so that we may approach these sacred droids with a pure mind and a fervent heart,
09:42and celebrate a sacrifice that is pleasing to you and ensures your favour for us.
09:49Through Christ our Lord. The Lord be with you. Lift up your hearts. Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
10:00It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation, always and everywhere, to give you thanks,
10:06Lord Holy Father, Almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord. For in the marvellous confession of
10:13your saints, you make your church fruitful with strength ever new, and offer us sure signs of your
10:20love, and that your saving mysteries may be fulfilled, their great example lends us courage,
10:29their fervent prayers sustain us in all we do. And so Lord, with all the angels and saints, we too give you
10:37thanks, as an exaltation, we acclaim, Holy, Holy, Holy Lord, God of whose heaven and the earth are full
10:45of your glory, Hosani in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, Hosani in the highest.
10:56You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the founder of whole holiness. Make holy therefore these gifts, we pray,
11:00by sending down your spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the body and blood
11:08of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his passion. He took bread
11:17and giving thanks, broke it and gave it to his disciples saying, Take this all of you and eat of it,
11:24for this is my body, which will be given up for you. In a similar way, when Shafravasi entered, he took the
11:43chalice and once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples saying, Take this all of you and dream from it,
11:52Lord, for this is the chalice of my blood, the blood of the new and eternal covenant,
12:00which will be poured out for you and for many, for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of me.
12:07The mystery of faith, when we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death all over,
12:27until you come again. Therefore, we celebrate the memorial of his death and resurrection.
12:36We offer you, Lord, the bread of life and the chalice of salvation,
12:42giving thanks that you have held us worthy to be in your presence and minister to you.
12:48Humbly we pray that partaking of the body and blood of Christ,
12:52we may be gathered into one by the Holy Spirit.
12:57Remember, Lord, your church spread throughout the world and bring her to the fullness of charity,
13:03together with Leo 14, the Pope Charles for Bishop and all the clergy.
13:10Remember also our brothers and sisters who have fallen asleep in the hop of the resurrection,
13:14and all who have died in your mercy. Welcome them into the light of your face.
13:22Have mercy on us all, we pray that with the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God,
13:27Blessed Joseph that has passed, with the Blessed Apostles and all the saints,
13:32who have pleased you throughout the ages.
13:35Remember it to be highest to eternal life. I will praise and glorify you,
13:39through your Son, Jesus Christ.
13:45Through him and with him and in him, O God Almighty, Father,
13:49in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honour is yours, forever and ever.
13:55At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we'd like to say,
14:07Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thou wilt be done on earth,
14:14the cities in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
14:20as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
14:28Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days,
14:33that by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress,
14:39as we avoid the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
14:44The kingdom, the power, and the glory are yours, now and forever.
14:48Lord Jesus Christ, who set your apostles, peace I leave you, my peace I give you,
14:55look not on our sins, but on the faith of your church, and graciously grant the peace and unity
15:01in accordance with your will, who live and reign forever and ever.
15:06The peace of the Lord be with you always, let us offer you to the sign of peace.
15:11Praise the Lord.
15:21Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
15:23Have mercy on us.
15:26Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
15:28Have mercy on us.
15:30Lamb of God, you take away the sins of the world.
15:32O Lord, grant us peace to the Lord, and participate in the Lord.
15:43Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world.
15:47Blessed are those who are to the suffer of the Lamb.
15:50Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof,
15:54but when you say the word, and my soul shall be healed.
15:57O Lord of Christ, be with you.
16:00My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most blessed sacrament.
16:05I love you above all things, and I desire to receive you into my soul.
16:10Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally,
16:13commonly, spiritually, into my heart,
16:16I embrace you as if you were already there, and unite myself wholly to you.
16:21Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
16:25Let us pray.
16:28May the communion in your sacrament that we have consumed,
16:33save us, O Lord, and confirm us in the light of your truth,
16:37through Christ our Lord.
16:40Lord be with you.
16:43May Almighty God bless you, the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
16:48Mercy ascended. Let us go and live the gospel. Thanks be to God.
16:53Have a wonderful day. God bless you.
