00:00After two weeks of negotiations to release an action climatic in Berne,
00:03the conference on the climate organized in Brésil was done this Sunday 22nd November,
00:08and we're not going far away from the catastrophe.
00:09So what to do with an agreement which is almost everyone?
00:12First of all, there is no mention of the energy fossiles,
00:16responsable of more than three-quarters of the gas emissions to the air,
00:19nor mention of the forestation,
00:21while the COP30 happened in the blood of the planet.
00:25Seuls groups of work, of countries,
00:27will be placed in place to establish a route on these two subjects.
00:31Then, only two timid advances have been made for the countries in development.
00:36A financial envelope is planned to adapt to the consequences
00:39still more lourdes of the heat,
00:41but this money will only arrive five years later than before, in 2035.
00:45Marquée by a strong mobilization of the civil society,
00:48this COP30 had for objective to release the ambition.
00:51The contract is not filled, but was it possible,
00:53given the multiple crises that planet today knows?
00:56In 2025, we are so happy to be able to create an attachment to the multilateralism,
01:02an attachment to the Paris Accord of 2015,
01:04which has fixed the objective of limiting the heat to 1,5 degrees.
01:09We will find, unfortunately, not anything else.
01:11The COP30 will have at least the merit of not to be able to do it
01:14and to make sure clearly the forces in presence.
01:17One bloc of more than 80 countries who want to engage the oil, gas, gas and carbon.
01:22And another in the face, two countries, two countries, two countries, two countries,
01:25two countries, two countries, two countries,
01:26two countries, two countries, two countries, but solidaires,
01:28and, above all, they are prepared to prevent this discussion.
01:31The problem is that the time press.
01:33If all countries respect their commitments,
01:36the rise of temperatures will reach more than 2,5 degrees in 2100,
01:39a trajectory with catastrophic consequences, alert the scientists.
01:43The question of the release of the fossils will be necessary in the discussion,
01:47certainly in the next year, during the COP31,
01:50in Turkey, where the battle is going to be more rude and the positions even more tranchées.
