06:54Gets a clean line of sight into Cam Ward and almost makes that play for the interception
07:01Four pass breakups now for Seattle it's third down and five for the Titans
07:06Goard pressure from Hall he'll throw on the run caught over the middle and it's Gunner Helm the rookie from Texas who's got a first down and goal at the six yard line
07:27They can have a really nice little tight end combo here right with Chigokonkwo and Gunner Helm
07:37You know both of them doing a nice job just you know finding that soft spot keeping your eyes on your quarterback making sure that you always have that clean line of sight between each other
07:44Oh for one in the red zone today first and goal the fake Ward on the keep weaving up the middle airborne to the goal line touchdown Tennessee
08:07Now some some nice blocking right there it's going to be one of those shovel passes but it's it's Chigokonkwo comes across in motion
08:28You know Cam Ward does a great job of seeing it kind of a little bit cluttered up
08:33And just kind of jumps in behind Chigokonkwo and Kevin Zeidler and has two lead blockers to the end zone
08:41And we talked about the Seattle response about the Tennessee response again when you watch him there's there's some flashes
08:48There's some good stuff that this is one of the better games I've seen them play
08:51You know when you talk about playing well for the course of the game
08:55Against a very good opponent
08:58Extra point is good there's a flag down on the extra point
09:02So it's personal foul against Seattle and wonder if Mike McCoy is going to say hey let's go for two here
09:22We had a couple of we have one in our game last week where we had hips on centers and and they're protected

09:47Tennessee has elected to enforce that penalty on the kickoff result is a successful try timeout on the field
09:55So they'll keep the point on the board after the Leonard Williams penalty

10:28His helmet and and he's he's a protected player in that situation
10:31So we had one in our game last week

10:35So it's it's something that's coming around you can see the people doing it

10:42They intentionally kick it out of bounds

10:55So that actually gives you better field position

11:01Yeah, there's a few things with the dynamic kickoff that have happened this year
11:06And when you've got somebody like John Fossil in Tennessee
11:09You've got Jay Harbaugh for Seattle
11:12You're digging into these things and you're trying to figure things out
11:14Here's one of those situations
11:16And you can see that's why you take the one point
11:19And you take the kick from the 50 yard line
11:22Because it puts you to 25
11:24So there will be something next year in place
11:26To account for that on the dynamic kickoff
11:27Because these guys are really good at finding all the unintended consequences

12:34Two of the two of the more important moves that happened in the offseason
12:38They really haven't gotten a lot of conversation
12:39Yeah, you and I were talking with Clint Kubiak before the game with Allison
12:43And he said look the story has been his impact
12:46His maturity
12:48He said you wouldn't believe how intense our walkthroughs have become
12:51He said he doesn't let guys have an excuse
12:54He expects them to take the meeting right to the field
12:57And then he says we'll run a play and he'll ask
12:59What is the worst possible thing that could happen
13:01He said not only does he make everybody on the field better
13:03He makes us as coaches better

14:27Kevin, Mike McDonald, you know, he challenged his guys to come up with something that kind of epitomizes the identity of this group
14:33And they workshopped it a bit and eventually came to him with the MOB acronym

14:40I talked to Cooper Cupp about it who was a big part of that
14:44And he said basically it means putting the mission of the collective over all of your individual stuff
14:49Your own wants, your ambitions, if they don't align with the collective, we've got no time for it
14:54So it's MOB for the Seattle Seahawks
14:57Thank you for censoring it so we all keep our job
14:58Is Walker bouncing it to the outside trying to get to the corner and the Titans are there
15:04Jalen Armour Davis able to close the gap on that edge and keep Walker from getting the first down
15:11And let's just go back to that touchdown, right?
15:14He tried to come in and make the play and he didn't
15:16And Kenneth Walker out leverage and watch 18 come in
15:19There he is, gets off the block and gets back outside and secures the edge
15:24So that's just a great job of getting to the sideline
15:27And ah man, you know, it was my responsibility to have that contained
15:30And I allowed him to get to the outside
15:32The next time you have that opportunity, you come up and make the play

17:20Jeffrey Simmons in the post game last week calling out his teammates for penalties
17:23Called out the defense, called out his group for beating themselves
17:27He said you have to say the hard things sometimes you don't want to hear
17:30But everybody took it in stride
17:33Nobody took it personal and Tennessee playing well right now
17:35Still down 13 as Chego Conquo takes it to midfield
17:39For Tennessee
17:41Another guy playing well today is the number one overall pick Cam Ward
17:44Yeah, he really has and when we talked to Mike McCoy
17:47You know, he talked about him really starting to take some steps the last three games
17:51And the biggest thing is this right here
17:53You know, they were trying to encourage him to use his legs a little bit more
17:57It's not a crutch, it is sometimes the next best option
18:00You know, good decisions, you know, throwing balls away
18:02But he's just really started to add some other elements to the game
18:05And he's really grown the last month or so
18:09On second and six, Pollard up the middle
18:12And he's going to end up a yard short of the first down
18:15When we were talking with Mike McCoy about the quarterback
18:18He said the next step is when to take off
18:20He's gotten a little better each week at something
18:23But then he stressed again, most important, do the next best thing
18:27He must have said that to us three or four times
18:29When talking about his young quarterback
18:31Do the next best thing
18:32That might be throwing at the feet of one of your wide receivers
18:35Throwing it out of bounds, running for five
18:37Whatever that next best thing is that keeps things progressing

18:44They go with their three tight ends

18:48And a handoff to Pollard
18:50And Pollard trying to wriggle out of the grasp of Leonard Williams

19:32And the first thing he says, we got to stop the run first
19:34He's living up to that today
19:35Because that's two or three times that he's been able to get into the backfield
19:38And help stop run plays before they get started
19:41Yeah, and they've got the ability to do that
19:43They've got those big bodies up front
19:44And we talk about the pressure that they get on the quarterback
19:47But they're also, you know, good against the run
19:49And again, you know, it's hard to find weaknesses in this team
19:55And the one that we keep talking about those turnovers
19:58It's in their control
20:00Everything else, I mean, that is awesome
20:02When you are playing at a high level
20:04Across all the different analytics that people are looking at
20:07You know, kind of to assess your team
20:09And where you stand among the rankings
20:11Well, you know they knew what we saw
20:14That the rushing defense had had a little bit of a hiccup
20:16The last few games
20:17Yep
20:18135 yards a game allowed the last three games
20:21Well today, 51 yards rushing
20:23Under three yards per carry
20:25You're going to win a lot of games
20:26With that kind of rush defense
20:28One for two on fourth down today

38:43but the ability to do that with just the floor now i know this is obvious passing situations and and this
38:47defensive line is pinning their ears back right now but but still they they are they are getting to cam

38:59and being able to protect your quarterback have him to have the confidence build that confidence
39:03that your front can handle everything up front on fourth and seven

41:56and and he's stopping and changing the play and that's those are some big strides as well we've
41:59talked about him scrambling with the football but that growth in the mental part of the game is also
42:04huge for a young quarterback in his rookie season it's a process you have to go through you've got to
42:09be able to react and adjust to the unscouted looks and that takes time and experience
42:13by seeing it on game day not just watching it on the film and working through it on practice
42:17fourth and five restrepo in motion ward looking pressured again here's tajay spears spears with
42:26a move he's got the first down and the titans stay alive down to the 18 reek woolen had a shot at him

42:37and again just building more trust with some of your guys that you're checking the football down to and

44:50coverage in those situations where you can have those those rubble releases or the kind of that web
44:56release made it a little bit easy for tennessee right there to be able to impact the coverage on

45:12and it is a six point game in nashville and it will come down to an onside kick in a moment but camp ward
45:21and his play today mike mccoy said you could see each week something get
45:26better and i think he's going to be able to say that again after he re-watches this game
45:31and evaluates his young quarterback yeah he might have a couple of things that he can see where he
45:36took a stride this week again i think he continues to get better with his decisions in running the
45:41football um and and being able to use his legs and and again you mentioned that kevin you know what
45:47is the next best option you know that's what you got to get to it's kind of the same thing the
45:51conversations that they're having with sam darnel and and you just be good with your decisions
45:56incompletions are good sometimes you know just avoid those big negative plays and and it's it's been
46:01really fun to watch him he really has grown over the last three or four games here
46:07so now johnny hecker will do the onside kick
46:12each hecker and sly have done one this year they have each come up empty so it'll be hecker
46:17who does the onside kick third attempt this year for tennessee they're 0 for 2.
46:23well we we've seen a couple of different things we saw john fossil with the delivery kick out of
46:26bounds with the personal foul that kick out of bounds goes back to the 25 he knows the rules he's
46:31also the guy that came up with the watermelon onside kick in dallas several years ago uh it kind of brought
46:37that one into play so he's always got something different as a return team is that onside kickoff
46:42team you got to be ready for anything when you're going against john fossil hecker ready
46:49tennessee has no timeouts they've got to recover this kick to have any chance
46:59gets the bounce it's still got to go 10 yards it has not it didn't go 10

48:10what his other teammates have said about him there's some hope with this number one overall pick yeah
48:15especially with one of their leaders jeffrey simmons you know he made a point to tell us that he sat down
48:19and had some conversations with cam because you know we've all been rookies before he said and i
48:24realize the pressure and the expectations that can come with that position and being the number one pick
48:28but he goes i realize real quick you don't have to worry about cam feeling like the world is on his
48:33shoulders or shutting down with the pressures and the struggles he said it hasn't fazed him he just
48:38continues to move on and keep talking smack to me in practice well some positives for tennessee
48:44and really if you're seattle and you're a seattle fan there's a lot of positives from this as well this
48:48was one of those games that you worry about if you're outside the program it's a trap game is
48:54something you hear when you get to play a one and nine team on the road and we asked sam darnold about
48:58that and he said that's not been a thing in this locker room we're not worried about that this is
49:04a situation where this team is tight and focused and they come in and they get the win 30 to 24
49:12over the seattle seattle gets the win over tennessee bonus coverage now giants and lions in overtime in
