00:00The Cleveland Brownies have decided that their starting quarterback is going to be
00:06Bailey's. No, I'm just kidding with you. It's going to be Shadour Sanders. Now,
00:12it's not based on merit. It's not based on earning it. It's not based on him being the
00:17best quarterback they got because we just don't know if he's any good. It's based on the fact
00:21that there's only three quarterbacks there. There's Bailey Zappi, who we all know cannot
00:25play. And then, of course, there's Dylan Gabriel, who we all know cannot play, who also has a
00:30concussion. And then there's Shadour Sanders, and we don't know if he can or can't play. So
00:36if there was ever a reason to watch a Cleveland Brown-Las Vegas Raider game Sunday at 4.05,
00:43now you've got the reason. That doesn't mean we're all going to turn it on and red zone it and go,
00:47oh, I'm putting away the Jets and Giants aside because I got to watch Shadour Sanders because
00:52I'm not sure if Shadour can play. And he's a fifth-round draft pick. It ain't like the dude
00:57got picked number one overall, and this is going to be his first start ever, and we're all vested
01:02in the outcome of the number one pick overall. This is a random fifth-round pick for the Cleveland
01:10Browns playing against the only other team in football that we could agree is probably worse
01:16than them offensively, and that is the Las Vegas Raiders. This game is what we like to call the
01:22TV rating business. A zero share. Ain't nobody watching this game, even with Shadour Sanders
01:28quarterbacking. It's one of those deals like, all right, I'm a red zone guy. I'll put on the
01:34old NFL ticket. I'll go red zone action, right? And I'll wait to see if Chris Hansen ever says,
01:40oh, let's go to Vegas because the Browns are driving. Scott Hansen. What? Chris Hansen did something.
01:47Chris Hansen, yeah. No, Scott Hansen. Yeah. One of them dudes catches Predators. One of them
01:53gives us football scores. Right. Scott gives us the football scores. My apologies then. I get the
01:58Hansons confused sometimes. Chris was doing the Lord's work, but it was tough. Scott Hansen. Yeah,
02:03Scott. Are they related? I don't know. You know what? You know what? They might be.
02:08They might be. Cousins? Whatever. Scott Hansen, Chris Hansen, the Hansen brothers. Yeah.
02:12Who the hell knows who we're talking about? I'm sure they're cousins. But like, I wonder if I have
02:16red zone on and the great Scott Hansen is doing his job there, if at any point he's going to be
02:22like, let's go to Vegas. Probably not, right? Like, is the ball ever going to get inside the 20 where we're
02:29like, eh, eh, eh, alert, alert, alert, red zone, red zone, red zone. So we'll see. But I'm, I think
02:36we could have more fun. I'm going to be far more compelling and entertaining today. Uh-huh. Now
02:40that it is official that the son of Deion Sanders, uncle himself, uh, is getting his first start in
02:46the NFL, which is, by the way, let's not poo-poo this. Like, good for him. Great accomplishment.
02:52I don't know if he can play, but he'll be able to tell his kids, oh yeah, I started a game
02:58in the NFL. Now, it might only be one. It might be the only chance he's got. But I was, I was
03:04jotting some notes down, as you can see in my handy dandy pad here, as the news came across,
03:10it is now official, that Shadur Sanders is starting. I think we should fast forward, if
03:15we can, to Monday. Okay. All right? Or even Sunday night, if you want, okay? Okay. If you're
03:21of that ilk, I've got the top three excuses people like Josina Anderson, Shannon Sharp,
03:29and other Shadur Sanders apologists and stands will make if it doesn't go well. Okay. And
03:37I want to be clear about this. It may not, look, it's not going to go well. That doesn't
03:43mean by default, it's his fault. Right? It doesn't. It doesn't. Because there's a very
03:48good chance his wide receivers aren't getting open. They don't run the ball well. He's not
03:53being protected. All the things that come along with being a bad offense. But I know right
03:58now, people like the people I mentioned, who see, who think he's the second coming of, you
04:05know, Tom Brady and can do no wrong on a football field, they are already preparing what the excuse
04:12is going to be when you have a performance like he gave us in the second half last week against
04:17the Ravens, which was four for 16 and less than 50 yards. And a pick. And a pick. And
04:23it could have been a second pick and a fumble, which he did recover. That's bad football.
04:28So the small little sample size we've gotten, and I want to be clear, I'm willing to throw
04:34that into the garbage. Bad spot. Weird situation. Okay. Clean slate for this Sunday against a bad
04:42team. Bad team. Decent defense. Bad overall team in the Raiders. Okay? Yep.
