00:00Hi, my name is Rhiannon Delanoi, and I am the director of Songs to Sing in the Dark.
00:07This short kind of combines a lot of my different interests, the natural world and monsters, big expressive visuals.
00:16This short also seemed like a natural fit for music because it's about sound.
00:21I started to think of, so what is sound actually? It's a bubble.
00:25It has a shape. As you travel through a room, you get the sense of sound is three-dimensional.
00:32I kind of wanted to put a new spin on it where it was in a completely dark world,
00:36and this runaway evolutionary pathway has taken hold, and sound is not just echolocation and navigation.
00:44It's also armor and camouflage and colorful pictographic holograms.
00:55So, I can dive in a little bit.
00:56How are you going to be the music?
