00:00Hi, my name is Zach Parrish,
00:02and I'm the director of Puddles.
00:04Puddles was inspired by my nephew Noah
00:06and his unending imagination.
00:08When I was writing this story,
00:10I lived around the corner from an elementary school,
00:12and so I would see kids walking out of this elementary school,
00:14and they would be on their phones.
00:16And so I liked that juxtaposition of Noah,
00:19who is so attached to his world.
00:21This one. Give me this one.
00:23And Skylar, who kind of needs a bit of a bump on the head.
00:26I was fortunate enough to have an effects artist come to me
00:28and ask if he could help try to make stylized,
00:30three-dimensional effects.
00:32And since Puddles is the name of the film,
00:34it's good that we spent the time to really make
00:36the Puddles a crowning achievement.
00:47Come on, Skylar. Mm-hmm. I'm coming.
00:52You have to jump over the puddles. They're lava.
