00:05Clout nice and tight from fourth to second in the blink of an eye and he's already exactly where
00:09he needs to be Saad Sulamani holding a nice tight line through that second corner but where is Anthony
00:14Bourdon is that him in fifth position I think it is on that Honda Motor Blues SR machine we'll get
00:19him over the line here Cannon sorry Clout already to the lead at the start of the second lap
00:25so Clout Fonvielle Jewel Pietra Cannon and Bourdon and Bourdon slides his way into third great move
00:33that but Pietra looking to bounce back and get around the outside up the inside of him maybe
00:37if he can doesn't quite work out for him but yeah for Clout just that inside if you get off relatively
00:45clean and can sneak around than inside he's been making that work all weekend long he's a great
00:49starter anyway but uh you know between his quick lap times and also just the savviness to be able to
00:55move around that inside he's put himself in good position and yes he's had a little bit of an edge
00:59in race two and race three over Bourdon but I would say the starts have really been the biggest factor
01:04because you're talking about marginal differences but Clout already has uh you know three second lead
01:10over Bourdon that's you're asking a lot to close that down in a short race yeah we have less than four
01:16minutes plus a lap to go into that so just to the right where these guys here that far rhythm section
01:20down the back into that left-hander see the spark come off the footpeg there of uh Bourdon uh Bourdon's
01:26Honda where he uh obviously uh titanium onto maybe a little bit of hard dirt slash rock um if they got
01:33that on a slow-mo nothing fancy but uh anyway here is Luke Clown it's not the uh the Tiger King today no
01:43right though that's some neon going on but uh I mean Clout's a veteran at this point right this would
01:48be arguably the only race of the year I don't know if it's arguable that he'd be racing a 250 450
01:54veteran battling for Australian supercross championships was on the podium at Stuttgart a
01:58week ago so he has a lot of that was on the 450 yeah he had a lot of experience not necessarily in
02:03Paris but it all translates and I think you've seen that comes to a race for the first time has been
02:07running up front all weekend long and really outside of race one where he lost the lead it's been
02:12basically flawless well obviously uh if you are joining us for the first time this sx2 this 250
02:18class is uh pretty much uh it's got two prongs to it it's part of the french supercross championship
02:23which calvin ponviere there on the red plate number 11 uh currently leads over michael hicks
02:28but it's also uh the prince of paris so there'll be two separate podiums at the end of the night for
02:33the sx2 guys one for the overall on the day and one for the overall prince of paris so uh but in terms of
02:40that prince of paris the best 250 rider in this paris supercross loop clout currently on four he
02:45will move to five as he uh looks to take a win ward on currently on five he will pick up a third
02:51place finish that'll put him on eight so there'll be a bit of breathing space there for clout but clout
02:56is not escaping the clutches of the two frenchmen well actually i would i'm more impressed with funbio
03:01like cordone's closing the gap a little bit but this is the closest he has been it's really been a one
03:05two kind of run away after a couple laps in you wonder if it's a lot of it because track is brand
03:10new so like the the margins compressed a little bit as far as just skill and everybody can kind of go
03:16the same speed but this is by far calvin's best race of the weekend minute and a half to go plus a
03:21lap in this five minute plus one lap two of these races they get at this distance before a nine minute
03:26plus a lap uh final race of the day and of the weekend which will determine the prince of paris but
03:34yeah luke clout looking like he's responding here from v8 can't escape the clutches of bordon
03:39bordon saw this a couple of times yesterday uh apart from the first race where he hounded down
03:44luke clout made his way past and won by a second and a half in the end but that was the rocket
03:49on the backside that the australian needed wasn't it and and what we saw in that first race yesterday
03:54when bordon followed and made the move sometimes easier well most of the time it's easier to follow
04:00than it is to lead and clout was probably caught in that am i doing everything okay right blah blah
04:05am i taking too much risk not enough risk and then of course when he found himself in second in race two
04:10he was able to do what poor don did to him follow him stalk his prey and uh obviously make the past
04:15stick and that seemed to be the sort of uh the icing on the cake as bordon charges down the inside of
04:20on va takes second with uh about 30 seconds plus a lap to go and he's still very much in contention
04:27for this prince title and clout has changed one line and uh they're coming up to it he changed
04:32one line at the end of this next straightaway he'll go to the inside here and that was where
04:37he got passed in race one yesterday ever since then you'll see him up the inside he skips on skips
04:41off ever since he switched that he's really been in control since then so bordon's line is really quick
04:47there i just think he did a great job of identifying where he was passed he's made a change has never gone
04:51back and really his results have never looked back either look how choppy that uh right turn is at the
04:56the end of the fmx jump there just you see the front end fighting there from the cloud slippery
05:00as well and slippery yeah day two moisture coming up through the ground yes it's a little bit flatter
05:05but the the dirt kind of breathes differently inside here you got the roof is closed so uh just that
05:10moisture starting to come up all all the time yeah and you can tell like this race when you talk about
05:1542 years of history you're going to get a little bit of everything i've raced this race and watched
05:19this race where it's hard packed slippery especially 80s and 90s really hard then you went into 2000s
05:25ruddy really treacherous soft and you just wonder if it's the precipitation levels coming in what is
05:31the difference but this is kind of a happy medium yes a little bit tricky but also there is traction
05:35two corners to go are they getting ready for the checkered flag yes they are the white flag is about
05:39to come in here and it's going to be luke clout who wins race one here day two three wins in a row now
05:47because he was second in race one yesterday back-to-back wins in the final two races he gets off to a winning
05:51start here will extend his lead at the top of this uh prince of paris uh competition there you go look
05:57five seven um because obviously bordon pulling back a point when he made that move on calvin from via
06:03bonvia is going to sit third on 13 pietra on 18 and so uh yeah oh canon so excited he's just
06:11just going to celebrate right there not really trying to give knuckles
