01:35single challenge in this competition I'm gonna do my best to make my family proud and take home that
01:40title of becoming mr. Christmas my family has been super supportive I mean they really were like you can't
01:46pass this up you have to go I mean my brother's just like do it dude go go make it happen better
01:52come back and win I'm like ah all right man definitely my girlfriend pushed me the hardest my
01:56boyfriend we've been together for two years how's he feel about you being here he's so supportive so
02:02supportive he knows how badly I want to be an actor and how important it is to me I just feel
02:06like I'm most nervous about letting people down I'm nervous about letting myself down and the
02:12champion has entered the building how did you sleep I slept all right how about you the winner

03:22yeah hey guys hey I hope you all got some rest because today we are going to be putting your
03:31holiday hunkness to the test while nine of you still remain only one of you will end up with a
03:38leading role in a hallmark holiday film and be crowned Mr. Christmas Christmas wouldn't be Christmas
03:45if Santa's sleigh didn't have gifts to deliver around the world
03:48today's festive face-off is all about agility style and teamwork because working well with your
03:57co-stars is a crucial part of being a leading man it'll be fun to work as a team a little bit of
04:03collaboration and camaraderie first let's get you into groups of three the blue team is Craig
04:09Gabe and Robbie all right the red team is Drake Marcus and Rustin
04:18that means the green team is Logan Angel and Davey all right let's go fellas let's go let's go right now it's time for a special delivery each team will have a pile of wrapped presents with just 10 minutes on the clock you must heave as many gifts as possible

04:43very nice very nice oh did I mention you're going to be using a giant slingshot to deliver the packages
04:49this is a job that's going to take everyone there can be no weak link the team with the most packages in
04:56the sleigh at the end wins win and you will receive an advantage going into the star quality challenge which
05:03will be revealed later this advantage I need it but before you start heave hoeing holiday parcels

05:17hi hello Melissa this will be fun I know have you ever slung presents into a sleigh Melissa oh gosh that
05:26was my first job I knew it I knew it all right it's time for an epic sling along the festive fun starts

05:43I would love to be the one to pull it back and shoot it in I used to have a slingshot as a kid
05:46and I used to love slingshotting stuff so I feel like I might have a little advantage here
05:50I feel like I'm relatively good at maybe adjusting like trajectories okay I'd be cool with being in the
05:55center and you guys are both much stronger I think up top okay you know what I'm a team player and I'm
05:59gonna let him do it and give it a shot more rotate if it doesn't work so how are we gonna do this I
06:03think because because you're the tallest I think in like you said we're the same height right okay
06:08Davey's tall physical Logan is smart and um Logan is smart and I also have plenty of skills
06:19I think we need to create some kind of consistency and stability in the holders I like creative or
06:25crafting competitions a little bit more I'm just gonna say I'm happy to really hold down
06:31the okay holder but I'm so happy that I have a team and teammates who this is in their wheelhouse
06:37so I'm really gonna defer to them okay
06:43oh not very good blue team just a little more muscle I think the key to this is communication
06:48and working well as a team up go up oh a little bit better oh god that was the worst

12:59been a pretty big optimist i believe that i am hallmark leading man material i just really need to find a
13:04way to just channel that main character energy earlier we asked you to work in a team in a fast
13:10paced gift grab and now we want you to take your time and show us your individuality charisma and
13:18heart in one single frame as a hallmark leading man taking photos is an essential part of our job
13:28luckily i have a modeling background and experience i do this professionally so i'm feeling good about that
13:33in this star quality challenge we're taking a traditional photo shoot to the next level what
13:41each of you will be photographed playing one of santa's reindeer oh my god
13:48o m g i have to be a reindeer that is wild this isn't just modeling we want you to lose yourself in the
13:57character we're looking for you to translate your character in stills does your reindeer persona come
14:03through in the photo can you adapt to surprise elements and still maintain that leading man energy
14:10don't panic because we are setting you up for success we have celebrity photographers
14:16wes and alex here to capture you
14:21having a good photographer is going to help so much because they know how to get the right angles they know
14:25how to get the lighting down and that's going to help us look so much better on camera you'll all
14:28be getting 10 frames to capture the winning photos gabe robbie and craig because you won the festive
14:34face-off you three will get first pick at which reindeer you want to play go choose your reindeer
14:40okay this is a great advantage because i can pick any reindeer i want with any personality gabe which
14:46reindeer are you going to be i'm going to be rudy okay okay rudy is the beloved underdog turned hero
14:52all right i like it it's perfect for how this competition has been going for me i started off
14:58not confident at all i was the underdog and now i can come up on top craig who are you going to be
15:04comet the firecracker of the crew that's the perfect choice for you thank you robbie who are you going
15:10to be dancer yep dancer is the reindeer who turns flight into art love that now guys there's a twist
15:19we want you to read through the rest of the reindeer and you're going to assign them to the hunks
15:28we don't even get the pick that's unfair there's strategy here you guys have a lot of power with
15:32this advantage we should we should not give angel cupid we should not so we decide to give certain
15:39people the opposite of what we think they are we have decided to give cupid to drake
15:50drake is single so maybe he doesn't know all that much about love the hype man so who's not the hype
15:56man should we make marcus the hype man yeah yeah we'll make marcus the hype man we assigned dasher to
16:01marcus dasher prancer doesn't just fly he performs he doesn't enter a scene he arrives we should give
16:09that one to logan to really challenge him okay cool and prancer goes to logan logan brancher doesn't
16:18just fly he performs i'm just excited to break out of my shell and be able to showcase to the judges
16:25what makes me kind of stand out donner is the silent strength holding the sleigh team what do
16:30you think so we should give that one to rustin the silent oh yeah yeah rustin donner there's only
16:38two reindeer left blitzen and vixen vixen is the heartthrob of the herd you think davy's the heartthrob
16:44so you'll give that one to angel all right we have vixen angel vixen is the heartthrob of the herd
16:52he entices and i think that that fits you perfectly angel because you are

17:13off to get into costume our very special guest judge is a hallmark leading lady staple an actor
17:20director and producer the one and only heather hemans wow she is just so beautiful i can't wait
17:30for her to give me all the constructive criticism she's hard on the eyes i know yeah hi heather hi
17:37they're rough on the eyes as well do you have any advice for them so i want to see you guys really bring
17:43everything that you have today it's not just about modeling you can't just have the blank face you have
17:48to tell the story through your eyes that is acting i want to remind you that it's important that you
17:53leave it all on the reindeer run because one of you will be ending the holiday early tonight and going
18:00home go and put on your reindeer fits let's go run like reindeer wait let's go
18:08so what the guys don't know is that for this photo shoot we're actually going to suspend them 15 feet
18:21in the air by a crane i mean that's perfect have you always had these antlers on well if i don't shave
18:28every 10 minutes they grow back let's see what they got for us to put on right yeah you know what color you
18:34are not yet getting some blood flowing is never going to hurt before a shoot getting a little pump
18:40going is going to make you feel more loose more relaxed in the shoot but also you're going to look
18:44a little bit better on the cameras it can never hurt just trying to catch up to davy you know
18:50it's kind of funny to see all the guys doing their push-ups and using the bands for preparation for
18:56this photo shoot but i'm just going to kind of stick to my guns and hopefully not overdo it it's a
19:02matter of time before that dad bod sets in being a little bit of a smaller figure compared to the
19:07other guys i have put some work in and i like the idea of being able to show you know what the wizard
19:13has underneath his robes you look ripped dude yeah robbie you're up first dancer dancer
19:25oh boy here comes dancer come on in come on in are you scared you look shocked
19:40coming up he's in character okay i like it oh my gosh
19:44oh and they's upside down yes no no no robbie back here robbie you gotta come this way welcome
19:57robbie to your photo shoot because you're a flying reindeer your photo shoot will be done 15 feet in
20:04the air hanging from a harness there is a giant crane he's 100 serious and by the way we forgot to
20:15tell you that these photos are going to be used in a spotlight feature for entertainment weekly meet the
20:20editors kristen and allison we're going to photoshop all nine of you together so it'll look like you're all
20:26pulling me in a sleigh we only get 10 frames to get the picture 15 feet up in the air dancer moves like
20:34silk on the wind all right let's take him up he's the reindeer who tunes flight into art so this is
20:40our artsy indie film version here he goes oh it's windy all of the ideas that i thought i was gonna do
20:47on the ground you know like normal photo shoots i'm now gonna have to do 15 feet up in the air

24:55going on here drake the baby he's the youngest one very sweet very um puppy dog i feel like you're not
25:03going to struggle with this cupid concept cupid is the heart of the sleigh team he doesn't just pull
25:09the sleigh he pulls heartstrings would you say that's you i think that's me do you find that
25:14people fall in love with you yeah it happens sometimes sometimes okay it's hard because every
25:18time they turn around it's my first time seeing them in person and then i just get lost in their
25:21gorgeous faces i'm like you ready to fly let's do it let's go buddy take them up boys i consider myself
25:28a charming romantic tender guy so i'm probably gonna have to be a little sexy and stuff you know kind of get
25:33the girls hearts racing i kind of like a superhero right now you know what i mean but we really want
25:37to see that cupid character come through so got you keep that in mind head to toe too go for it
25:42ready three two one just that nice sweet have a little smile in some of them your cupid your love
25:49bend your front leg a little bit on that bend that leg that front knee that front knee there we go
25:56for the camera you've got to engage your legs your core and also have that facial expression that says

26:09don't block your face with your hands okay the legs again yes i don't want my face to show that struggle
26:16i need to keep it you know the cupid who's pulling heartstrings and making people fall in love and that's
26:21definitely not a clenched face that's concentrating too hard on what your body's doing now look at the
26:26camera i don't like his hand behind that it's weird put that arm in front of the cable yep now take your
26:32right arm and do it that way more there we go now you're open to camera now look at him yes now be
26:37real deliberate look right at the camera when you do it he does have the sweetest smile yeah and hey

27:09i decided to go with antlers because we're reindeers man hello donner oh he's coming like donner okay

27:27brooding confident grounded character into the poses that i'm choosing and the faces that i'm making
27:36i need a little bit of smize in it so you're the strong silent type but remember donner's always the
27:41hottest guy in the room and everyone wants him so give me that okay done
27:44one isn't it kind of like greek god vibes i'm getting yes i'm hoping that it's really showcasing
27:51the finding mr christmas leading man energy there it is three two one yes there it is rustin yes

28:08of the herd hi angel he can handle the leather pant he's confident flirtatious hi hi charismatic

30:41now fake yes oh that's great this is all very entertaining but i still don't know if i
30:46have seen have the shot the shot yet you're right give us leading man now you're doing the crazy
30:52poses but don't forget your face i'm working on it let's see that face and that smile oh smile yeah i

31:1610 years now so i'm hoping to really apply some of that set experience in photography with this
31:22challenge in particular ready to get harnessed up yeah let's go right here buddy cool blitzen is
31:27electricity with antlers he lives for the thrill feeds off applause and zips through the sky like
31:32he's got lightning and his veins look at that look at that you can create a wheel of parmesan on that
31:41well i'm i'm i'm in there that thing is tight that's not going anywhere when i first saw his
31:46episode i was like oh like my husband has a t-shirt like that here we go let's go nice three two and
31:55one oh i love it yeah oh you're right yeah that just inhibits you it gets in the way it gets in the way
32:03we want it unencumbered yeah i have a couple of cool ideas give me energy in that face like i'm blitzen
32:09ha some athletic moves that are airborne i want to channel kind of like a running or sprinting
32:16through the air type of positioning here with my character davy hemsworth three two one yeah there
32:21it is there's so much instability as much as i'm struggling with this harness three two and one
32:27i don't want it to show in my photos or show in my face he literally just goes straight into pose
32:32like resets pose he's a pro the key with this one because it's a full body shot is making the arms and
32:38legs look cohesive in an environment that's very unpredictable oh that's a good chance and then
32:44everybody fainted rudy reporting for duty rudy reporting for duty i love it boys let's strap them
32:52in rudy went from being the underdog to the hero the underdog or the under reindeer hey so rudy resonates
33:01with me i feel like i can embody this character more than anyone else we also have a lantern here
33:07your choice if you would like a prop up there or if you want to just ride solo i do want to lead the
33:12way are you sure you want that lantern yep all right he wants it he wants it in my modeling experience
33:22it actually helps to have a prop to kind of create a story three two one gotta get a couple smiling
33:29ones there it is that's it that's it okay first shot out the gate i say we got it three two one
33:37that's right that's powerful powerful very good you're confident you're rudy give me another pose
33:43give me another pose you're hero yeah he's got that rudy riz you know he definitely has it
33:49okay yeah open it up there it is there it is yes yes very good that's it the confidence level
33:56that he has shown today it's light and day difference from like day one so i love giving
34:01rudy it's giving rudy energy three two one yes how did it feel it felt amazing you looked incredible
34:08up there you looked very confident i'm glad you noticed that i feel really good about this challenge
34:14and i was confident and that's all i can ask of myself maybe that's kind of the it factor that
34:20we're looking for yeah could be could be that's a nice quality to have yeah it is it's really
34:26disheartening to think about the fact that in a couple hours someone else is going home
34:31yeah all right ladies we have to make some tough decisions here today let's talk about robbie first
34:37our dancer robbie had the advantage he chose wisely i agree and his photos looked amazing
34:44from my experience in modeling sometimes you feel like you did great and it ends up turning out bad
34:48and sometimes you think you did bad it turns out great so i think that really we're just gonna have
34:51to see what the judges say drake got cupid which to me almost seems like the one reindeer that you
34:58know exactly who that is drake needed a lot of direction from me and although he took the direction
35:04i think he's got a lot to learn i think he's got a lot let's remember like he is the youngest one
35:08in this group um he's the baby and and that energy kind of is there he is a sweetheart and he comes
35:13across very authentic and so genuine but what else is there right let's talk about logan he frankly
35:21kind of surprised me with the kind of charisma he brought in when logan walked onto the set he arrived
35:26i was impressed with the physicality he was able to bring to prancer and i felt like he did it
35:31effortlessly yeah i don't think it was that hard of a challenge that was a cake i think it was pretty
35:39fun let's talk about angel he came in as vixen with the smolder he did give good face but he didn't
35:46necessarily serve good body yeah the energy was was all in his face it wasn't really like flowing
35:52davy was blitzing i think we had his photo on his second frame he's just a very experienced model
35:57obviously yeah he was nailing it craig came out as comet i was a little skeptical at first of all
36:04the bold choices he was making it was chaotic he felt like he was throwing a lot of things up against
36:08the wall to see what would stick yes yeah gabriel came out as rudy the first photo he took
36:13was amazing he seemed very confident and strong and he seemed to connect with the leadership
36:19character a little more than i thought he would rustin had donner with rustin less is more he doesn't
36:26project his push he just is you could tell when he walked in he already had the character he was
36:31very focused he was giving greek god we were loving it it was a great character for him and he really
36:37embodied that so like as hungry as i am and as excited as i am to learn i feel like i often take a
36:43lot of really safe choices marcus was dasher and he is the hype man life of the party it showed from the
36:49second he showed up on set he wasn't just pretending to be the hype man he was thinking i'm the hype man
36:54and that really translated to camera ladies unfortunately one of our hunks has to go home
37:01i hate this part i know this is going to be one of the toughest decisions we've ever had to make
37:10walking into elimination tonight i i hope i did well enough to where i'm not going to be put in the
37:16bottom but you know you never know i am not ready to go home if i get the chance to stay i'm done playing

37:30all on the line one of you will be named this week's shining star and one of you will be headed home for
37:37the holidays in the star quality challenge we asked you to fly into the spotlight on a crane work the
37:44camera and embody one of santa's reindeer heather how do you think they did today heather how do you
37:49think they did today i was absolutely floored by the intensity of competitiveness that you all brought
37:57today but there can only be one shining star the winner of the star quality challenge and tonight's shining
38:06star is davy congratulations buddy it feels awesome to get this win and hopefully the rest of
38:20the guys see me as a top competitor in this competition you came out with greek god dear energy
38:28communicated with your photographers and you delivered great photos awesome i did not necessarily
38:34expect that to be honest by the time we finished i was just thinking to myself i hope we got
38:37something oh we got something we got something yeah we got something now the not so merry part
38:45angel drake and craig you three are at risk of leaving the competition craig your photos were all
38:55over the place it just felt a little chaotic during your session but you committed to being the
39:03firecracker and for that reason craig you will stay to shine another day
39:13you came out with so many ideas just make sure there are things that they can also use
39:20angel drake will you please step forward i am actually a little shocked that they put me in the
39:27bottom i thought i did enough to be safe drake you started off the photo shoot with confidence but you
39:34just couldn't commit to your character we saw more drake than cupid angel you came with the face but the body
39:42wasn't in sync angel and drake one of you will be going home tonight is this it i'm just really hoping that
39:52they saw something in me enough to keep me in the house there's a pit in my stomach that i can't get rid
39:58of right now just give me one more chance

40:08drake that's a wrap it's time to take your stocking down you're going home for the holidays
40:14you remind me so much of myself when i was your age like so much i had all this kinetic energy
40:26and i had so much love to give the world and all i had to do was learn how to take that and harness
40:31it and make that my superpower and i think you're going to find that thank you that means a lot we wish
40:38you nothing but the best and we can't wait to see what you do next i've been modeling for so long
40:45it's something i thought i would have just knocked right out of the park i also always see the silver
40:50lining of everything i'm just so proud of myself in so many ways that ski scene was the first time
40:55i've ever actually read lines on camera i won't let this be the end of my acting journey i'm going to
41:00get back to the grind i'm going to take a lot more classes and i'm really going to give this thing a full shot
41:08guys as your bonds get stronger this process will get harder for you but i promise it'll all be
