00:00Previously on Finding Mr. Christmas.
00:11Say Christmas.
00:12Christmas!
00:13Seven holiday hunks were still in the running for a leading role in a Hallmark movie.
00:17I'm going to need a volunteer.
00:19No, Melissa, you can't volunteer.
00:20In the festive face-off, it was Wipeout City.
00:25No!
00:25Then, in the star quality challenge, they strutted their stuff to charm Hallmark superfans.
00:33I'm going to sing a song for you all.
00:35Aww.
00:37And answer some really tough questions.
00:40What's one thing that you would like to redo?
00:43My mom had a stroke and never woke up, and so I never got that chance to say goodbye.
00:48Some shined.
00:49Are you getting warmed up?
00:50I'm getting kind of hot.
00:51Others, not so much.
00:53I, um...
00:54Angel faced a tough decision.
00:56Will you be keeping the immunity for yourself, or will you be gifting it?
01:01The person that I choose to have this immunity is Robbie.
01:07Craig and Gabe landed in the bottom.
01:10Gabe, you're going home for the holidays.
01:13Now, just six leading men remain as the hunt for Mr. Christmas continues.
01:17It's so nice out, isn't it?
01:24I know.
01:25And this view is beautiful.
01:26Yeah.
01:27Sharing your mom's story last night.
01:29Thank you so much for that.
01:30I really appreciate it.
01:31My mom got diagnosed with cancer right before I'm about to come on the show.
01:36It was literally just like a month and a half ago, and I had to make that decision.
01:40Like, should I come on to the show, or should I go be there with her?
01:43How did she react to that?
01:45I spoke with her, and she's like, just go do it.
01:48It's not easy.
01:49It's really hard.
01:50I'm really feeling for him, and I know that it's a really difficult thing to go through.
01:56I am so sorry about everything that has been going on, but I'm so happy you shared it,
02:01because sometimes it's hard if people don't really kind of understand it to, like, talk
02:06about it or, like, open up about it.
02:07We're in different situations, but I know that, like, the more that I'm able to talk about
02:12it, it helps me move through it and, like, find peace with it.
02:16I already knew Robbie was a good guy.
02:18Just being able to connect with him and find that friendship is amazing.
02:22If you need anything while we're here, or you need to talk about your mom, please know
02:27that, like, you can do that.
02:28Same to you, you know, because sometimes even just talking about these memories can be a lot.
02:33For sure.
02:43How'd you guys sleep last night?
02:44Yesterday was tough, but, I mean, overall, it's a new day.
02:49I would love to get outside and sweat a little bit, maybe kind of get my nerves out.
02:52Same.
02:53Start a new day fresh, move around a little bit.
02:55Get in your body, out of your head.
02:57Get the jitter sound.
02:58Yeah!
02:59Like you want to stay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
03:01What is one word that y'all are going to, like, bring into today?
03:06Vulnerability.
03:06You know, I came in kind of just willing to go for it, and that's all well and good.
03:14But there's a whole other side to it as well, that I need to explore more.
03:18Probably on the opposite end for me, confidence.
03:20I feel like I need more of what you have, you know.
03:22Here, yeah.
03:23Take this.
03:24Hey, all right.
03:26I think we probably all could take something from each other.
03:28I'm waiting on some vulnerability here.
03:30Oh, there you go.
03:30There's some vulnerability.
03:31I'll give a little heart to everybody, you know.
03:34Oh, did you hear that?
03:36Hey, let's go!
03:38Being in the bottom two, my confidence was a bit shaken.
03:42The other guys are really talented, and the last couple advantages from the festive face-offs
03:46have been huge.
03:47They're becoming more and more valuable.
03:49I need one, and I need it now.
03:55Oh, my God.
03:56Look at that.
03:56Are we going in those?
03:58And now, from the Finding Mr. Christmas Marching Band, please welcome Melissa Peterman.
04:05Oh, wow.
04:10Hey, guys.
04:15Welcome to the Fa-La-La Lawn.
04:17Let me hear you say it.
04:18Fa-La-La Lawn.
04:19Fa-La-La Lawn.
04:21I hope you stretched, because we're about to have a ball.
04:24Literally.
04:25Today, you will be rolling into the holiday cheer in giant inflatable ornaments and bowling
04:32down tree-tied treasures like the hunks that you are.
04:35This challenge is wild.
04:38What are you putting us through, Jonathan Bennett?
04:42Here's how these trees will go down.
04:44In two heats of three, you'll jump into a giant ornament and race to knock down six trees
04:50as fast as you can.
04:51You'll be timed, and the fastest person out of the two rounds will be our winner.
04:56Oh, it's sick.
04:58It's crazy.
04:59Win, and you'll get an advantage in the next star quality challenge.
05:03Great.
05:03Yeah.
05:04Our first group up, Marcus, you'll be in red, looking for the trees with the red ribbon.
05:10Okay.
05:10Craig, you'll be blue, looking for the trees with the blue ribbon, and Davey, you're going
05:16to be yellow.
05:18Now, remember, the first person to knock down all their trees wins, but be careful out there,
05:23because if you knock down someone else's color, that person gets the point.
05:28Marcus, Craig, and Davey, go get ready.
05:30The rest of you can watch on the sidelines.
05:32All right.
05:32Let's go, boys.
05:33Let's go, boys.
05:34Let's go.
05:34Gentlemen, step inside your balls.
05:38Oh, my gosh.
05:40This is real.
05:41But I've been thrown into some fires before and haven't been cooked, so I'm ready.
05:46I've definitely never been inside of one of these inflatable balls before.
05:50It makes you automatically feel claustrophobic.
05:53All right, my little hamsters.
05:55On your mark.
05:57Get set.
05:59Go.
06:01Go, go, go, go.
06:02This is not going to be easy.
06:04We can't actually see where the ribbons are at.
06:06They're facing the opposite direction.
06:08It's kind of crazy.
06:09Go, go.
06:10Oh, oh, oh.
06:11Davey just knocked down one of Marcus's trees.
06:14One for Marcus.
06:15He's a giver.
06:16He's the gift that keeps on giving.
06:18I'm going to have to be a little bit more careful about this.
06:20Go, go, go.
06:21Go, go, go.
06:22Oh.
06:23It is just utter chaos inside this ball.
06:30Davey's got one.
06:31There he goes.
06:31Oh, Marcus got the second one.
06:33Oh, that was aggressive.
06:36Oh, oh.
06:37Davey got another one.
06:38Marcus has gotten two of his down.
06:40Davey's gotten two of his down.
06:41I'm trying to figure out what's the quickest way to run.
06:45And I kind of figure it out.
06:46I put my hands at the top, and I'm, like, using that to keep me balanced almost.
06:50I want to make sure that these things break.
06:52Oh, look at that.
06:54Oh, man.
06:57It works better if you're standing up.
06:59Oh, wow.
07:00Oh, wow.
07:00Craig's got one down.
07:01Oh, here comes Davey.
07:03Oh, Davey.
07:03Oh, watch out of the way.
07:06Oh, all right.
07:06There goes Craig.
07:07That's two for Craig.
07:11Oh, my God.
07:12Oh, my God.
07:13Oh, my God.
07:14Davey has three.
07:15Marcus has four.
07:17Craig gets another tree.
07:20Another one for Marcus.
07:22Four trees for Craig.
07:23Oh, wow.
07:24Oh, my gosh.
07:25It is a tight race.
07:27This is a very exciting day in sports.
07:30They've all got five.
07:31This is Davey's last one.
07:37Davey wins.
07:39Woo.
07:40Congratulations, Davey.
07:42Good job, buddy.
07:43I won my heat.
07:44Obviously, there's a second heat, but seeing how far behind Craig and Marcus were was also encouraging.
07:49He set the bar really high.
07:51Yeah, for sure, man.
07:53Round two, Angel, you're going to be green.
07:56Robbie, orange, and Rustin, purple.
07:58I'm really going to have to give it my all.
08:01Hopefully, I can stay safe and not get injured.
08:04Davey did it so fast, and I know in order to beat him, I need to get a time that's better than his.
08:09Okay.
08:11Three, two, one.
08:14Goal!
08:16All right, here they go.
08:17They're coming in hot.
08:18They're coming in hot.
08:19Oh, watch out.
08:20Oh, Angel got one down.
08:22Oh, my gosh.
08:23I could have died.
08:24Oh, my gosh.
08:25But what a way to go.
08:26Angel's moving.
08:27You'll speak at my funeral, won't you?
08:31Rustin's got one.
08:32Like a wrecking ball.
08:35Robbie's got one.
08:36Oh.
08:37Oh, he just knocked down one of Angel's trees.
08:39Angel is in the lead with two.
08:41Watching Heat 1, I was able to figure out my strategy.
08:44The fastest way between two points is a direct line.
08:47I'm going to hit all the trees on the left, and then I'm going to hit all the trees in the
08:51center and on the right on the way back.
08:55Robbie got another one.
08:57Oh, my gosh.
08:58Angel just knocked his third tree down.
08:59These guys are in it to win it.
09:01I'm going at 100 miles per hour.
09:03I'm going wild.
09:05Full throttle.
09:07Rustin's got another.
09:08Angel is on fire.
09:10Angel has got his fourth one down.
09:12Another point for Robbie.
09:15Angel is in the lead with four, and Robbie and Rustin are tied with three.
09:19That's four trees for Robbie.
09:22Angel, don't backtrack.
09:23Wait, Angel.
09:24No, what are you doing?
09:24Angel, you're going the wrong way.
09:28I didn't know if I was forgetting one three, so I slowed down and lose my momentum.
09:32Angel just had to turn around.
09:34Angel, to your right.
09:36Oh, Rustin.
09:37Oh, Rustin's got another one down.
09:39Robbie's got five trees.
09:42He's in the lead.
09:43Go, Robbie.
09:44Finish up.
09:45There's so much chaos.
09:47Rustin's got another one.
09:48Angel has one more.
09:50There's so many.
09:51Jonathan, this isn't going to come true.
09:51Angel has two more trees to get down.
09:53Oh, Robbie got his last tree.
09:55Robbie.
09:58Robbie crossed the finish line first.
10:01Woo!
10:03Robbie, Rustin, Angel.
10:05I'm here with some really physically fit guys,
10:08but I've kind of learned that I can do anything and to not count me out.
10:12The fastest times today were between Davey and Robbie,
10:16but it was literally a matter of seconds.
10:20Wow.
10:21Robbie already has the advantage of a lot of experience.
10:25I feel like I really need this one going into the next Star Quality Challenge.
10:28The hunk that took down their trees the fastest is...
10:35Davey, congratulations.
10:39Good job, Davey.
10:41Thanks, fellas.
10:42Good job.
10:42Good job.
10:43Good job.
10:43Good job.
10:44Davey, how's it feel?
10:44You won a festive face off the top.
10:46Yeah, it feels good, finally.
10:47I haven't had an advantage yet, so I'm a little bit nervous with what's to come.
10:52Do you want to know what that advantage is now?
10:53Yeah.
10:53Davey, the Star Quality Challenge will be an acting challenge,
10:57and you will be able to sit and watch the other actors perform with me and Melissa.
11:03That's another crazy one.
11:05That's a huge advantage.
11:06So you'll be hearing the notes we're saying, the commentary we're saying,
11:10all the things that we're pointing out that are going right,
11:12all the things we're pointing out that are going wrong.
11:14You'll be able to sit there and listen.
11:16I feel good, I guess, that I got so close.
11:20I'm sticking my feather in that cap,
11:22but a feather is not an advantage in the Star Quality competition.
11:26Coming up, let's run it.
11:28That way we don't waste more time.
11:31Brilliant.
11:32Yeah, so originally we were thinking that Rustin took charge.
11:35Who is, like, your guys' leader right now?
11:37I think we've all contributed a significant amount.
11:41Those were awesome.
11:43They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit.
11:46Touchdown!
11:50How old were you when you joined sports?
11:52T-ball.
11:53So, like, the first time you could sign up for youth sports,
11:56I was such an introvert, and I was so quiet as a kid.
11:59And I was painfully shy.
12:01To and kind of through high school,
12:04you know, sort of sports that had that built-in sense of community
12:07where you automatically have friends.
12:08I felt shy, introverted, all through high school,
12:10because I was chubby and I got in shape,
12:12and I still felt introverted.
12:13I felt like I was fake in shape, like it didn't happen.
12:16I didn't really feel like it was me yet.
12:18Sports was that outlet.
12:19It kind of forced you to be extroverted.
12:21With every day, I feel like I'm growing so much.
12:24I'm getting closer to the other guys.
12:25We help each other out.
12:26We root each other on.
12:27From the moment I could walk, my parents told me I was always,
12:31I liked playing with balls, basketball, baseball, the football, whatever.
12:34A lot of the guys that I was friends with at childhood stopped playing sports.
12:40And a lot of them, you know, unfortunately, some of them are gone now.
12:44So sports kept me on the right track, and, you know, I definitely wouldn't be here.
12:49So, you know, I'm grateful.
12:50Sports is a good way to stay out of trouble as a kid.
12:52I think, for me, it kept me out of trouble, you know?
12:54I played Division I college football.
12:56A big part of that is because of my dad.
12:57He pushed me.
12:58There were lots of times where it was challenging.
13:00I set the bar really high for myself, and I have high standards for myself.
13:04I expect to do well.
13:05And if I don't, I get frustrated.
13:09It seems like we're all coming from just drastically different circumstances
13:12to lead to the same place, you know?
13:13I really feel like we have such a bond.
13:16It's become a brotherhood really quickly.
13:19You know, I appreciate you guys for that.
13:20It's rare, and it's special.
13:23I'm going to miss you all as you keep going one by one.
13:30Let's see what kind of advantage Davey gets.
13:31Is this a smoker?
13:33A beat smoker?
13:35Wow, I like these looks.
13:39Hey, guys.
13:39Welcome to the Christmas block party.
13:42It's time for your annual neighborhood street snowshow.
13:46Wait, what now?
13:47Snowshow?
13:48Snowshow, snow, and a social.
13:50I'll take it.
13:50I like it.
13:50It's a snowshow.
13:51We're having a snowshow.
13:53Snowshow!
13:56In this star quality challenge, you guys will work in two teams of three to perform the same script.
14:03Your challenge is to make the scene uniquely your own.
14:07The scene will be set at a merry lane mingle with all the chaos that happens when you bring neighbors together.
14:13Each group will have to decide who plays which part and how you will bring the scene to life through your energy, your choices about what you do, and the way you interact with each other.
14:23It's all on you.
14:25It's a hunk production.
14:26Okay.
14:27I like that.
14:27I like that.
14:28We're looking for great teamwork.
14:30And while you will work and act together, we want you to each find a way to shine individually.
14:36And to join the fun, this Hallmark star is an actress and producer you've seen in movies like Santa Summit and Holiday Touchdown, A Chief's Love Story.
14:44Is it Hunter?
14:46Is it Hunter?
14:47Is it?
14:48Is it?
14:49It is.
14:51Please welcome Hunter King.
14:55Oh my gosh.
14:57I'm so excited.
14:58Hi, guys.
14:59Hi.
15:00She is Hallmark royalty.
15:03I'm so excited to be doing this scene with her.
15:06I'm so excited to be here.
15:07I'm a huge fan of the show.
15:08I can't wait to meet all of you.
15:10Thank you for having me.
15:11We're so excited you're here.
15:12So they're going to be performing a scene in a group with you.
15:16Oh, wow.
15:17You know, group scenes are some of my favorites to film.
15:19They're so much fun.
15:20But there's a fine balance when you're filming them.
15:22You don't want to upstage your co-stars too much the whole time.
15:24But you also don't want to fall into the background.
15:26I sometimes, I like to steal a scene.
15:29You?
15:29I know you would never believe it.
15:33But I do like to steal a scene.
15:35But I will say that there's a way to come in and sparkle and make yourself notice without upstaging somebody.
15:41Wow.
15:41Great.
15:41Team one is Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.
15:46Okay.
15:47Team two is Davey, Angel, and Craig.
15:50All right.
15:51All right.
15:52Let's go.
15:52Let's get it, boys.
15:53Let's get it.
15:54You'll have one hour to meet with your team and decide how you want to play your scene.
15:58Then you will just have 10 minutes to fill Hunter in before we call action.
16:03Davey, since you won the festive face-off, you're going to sit with Melissa and I while the other group goes first.
16:09Okay.
16:09Here are your scripts.
16:11Determine who's playing which part and think about bringing the scenes to life.
16:15Okay.
16:15All right.
16:17Good luck.
16:18Good luck.
16:19Think about casting.
16:20Have fun.
16:21All right.
16:21Let's go in and sit down.
16:22Let them do the work.
16:23Yeah.
16:23Yeah.
16:23Yeah.
16:23Yeah.
16:23Let's go in.
16:24We already got the job.
16:24Yeah.
16:25We're already on the show.
16:30Dude, this scene is a comedy.
16:33Of course it's a comedy.
16:34Absolutely.
16:35This is funny.
16:35So the scene we have to perform today is about two brothers at a neighborhood party meeting their sister who's bringing a boyfriend for the first time.
16:44And we have to choose who's going to play who.
16:47Obviously, brothers.
16:50Yeah.
16:52Boyfriend.
16:52Absolutely.
16:53Any preference on man one or two?
16:56Man two right away says dude.
16:58And I feel like you say dude.
16:59Yeah.
17:00And that was like, all right, there you go.
17:01This is a comedy scene.
17:04So in order for that to come through, you have to have fun.
17:07Like, we're brothers.
17:08Yeah.
17:09Like, that has to come across.
17:10I think so, too.
17:11Yeah.
17:11That brotherly banter, that football slapping your butt with a towel type thing.
17:15Yep.
17:16And then you're this outsider who, you know, let's put you to the test, buddy.
17:21Yeah.
17:21You know, bring it on.
17:22I don't have a sister, but I could imagine.
17:23Growing up, I had an older brother and a younger brother.
17:26We're always giving each other a hard time, joking around.
17:29So I'm hoping to kind of bring that out in this scene.
17:32All right.
17:32Casting.
17:33Is there anyone that drew you guys to anything?
17:36Maybe have us be brothers.
17:38You guys riffing off each other?
17:39Yeah, yeah.
17:40Yeah, so I'll do man one.
17:41And I'll be man two.
17:42I'm jealous that you'll get to be Hunter's boyfriend, but you know what?
17:46You know.
17:46I think you'll be really funny in that part.
17:49Okay, okay.
17:49I like it.
17:50I like it.
17:50I think you can take it.
17:51Yeah, no, I can take it.
17:52I can take it.
17:53Being the new boyfriend, meeting the siblings and the family, I feel like I've done that before.
17:58And I feel like I could relate to that character.
18:00The brothers do something devious to mess with man three and ruin the picture.
18:04A leading lady snaps the photo.
18:06We have to have the joke of ruining the picture.
18:09Epic.
18:10Oh, absolutely.
18:10Let's start thinking of ideas.
18:12Like, how can we ruin the picture?
18:13So, probably, like, she's had a lot of other boyfriends that she's, like, brought home in the past.
18:19And we're always so judgmental.
18:21Because we care about her.
18:22We love her.
18:22She's our little sister.
18:23Little sister.
18:23I think so.
18:24We're caring for her.
18:25So, the last few years, I've gotten some really incredible opportunities to direct.
18:29Everything from new plays to big musicals.
18:33Where are we wanting to set up the scene, right?
18:35Like, we can probably make a setup here at the table.
18:39Yes.
18:39And I can walk out of the house right there.
18:41I just want to make sure that he's going to be able to hear the lines.
18:45I think that it's incredibly important to be able to throw ideas in the hat and figure this thing out together.
18:52That definitely seems like the best shot, right?
18:55This seems like the most reliable place.
18:58We could frame it up here and you just walk off over into this corner or something along those lines.
19:02So that if you don't actually have to leave.
19:03My instinct would be that someone needs to be the director.
19:07So, I do have experience doing this.
19:09Let's just, like, go through it and just talk through the story a little bit.
19:12We're trying to get all of this down in a very short amount of time.
19:16But we have to all be on the same page.
19:18And it's like, what is happening?
19:21Like, what is going on right now?
19:23Coming up.
19:24Yeah, we're so happy to meet you.
19:27I want them to feel more like brothers.
19:29Yes.
19:29Are you guys going to do the shake really quick, too?
19:31Between the two of you?
19:32That was the moment next.
19:33Right.
19:33That's okay.
19:34That's okay.
19:34How did we forget that one?
19:41Team one, your planning time is up.
19:43It's time for your ten-minute rehearsal.
19:45Yeah, we're looking forward to being able to discuss a lot of the stuff that we've already established with you and getting your fresh takes on those things.
19:52Yes.
19:52Oh, great.
19:52I'm so excited.
19:53I want to see what you guys have planned.
19:54There's one more layer that we need to add since this is a block party.
19:58Would our background artists please join us?
20:01Come on over here.
20:01Oh, nice.
20:02Oh, hey.
20:03Hello, hello, hello.
20:05Awesome.
20:06Wow.
20:06Come on in, guys.
20:08Good?
20:08Perfect.
20:09Fantastic.
20:09Break a leg.
20:10Good luck.
20:10Thank you, John.
20:11Do it, guys.
20:11All right, let's do it.
20:12Okay.
20:12So, it's a lot of pressure to, you know, tell Hunter kind of what to do because if she's not comfortable in the scene, then it's going to make everything else fall apart.
20:20So, my brothers?
20:21Yes.
20:22My boyfriend?
20:22Yes, yes, yes.
20:23Okay, all right.
20:23What are we thinking?
20:24Yeah, so originally we were thinking that maybe this was a really good spot, but now that we have a better layout and understanding of where the background actors are and how the food is established, it's starting to feel like maybe our primary scene should actually be up here in front.
20:37A little closer up here.
20:37I feel like I have a really good understanding of how we should be moving into the scene and out of the scene to make sure that we're getting the shots right for each of us in order to tell the story.
20:48Let's put these drinks over maybe on this table right here.
20:51This table.
20:52Rustin took charge.
20:54You have to think in a team mentality.
20:56You're only as good as your weakest link, so I want everyone to shine and bring it.
21:01Who is, like, your guys' leader right now?
21:03Is there, like, one designated leader between you guys?
21:05Is there someone that's kind of the director of the group, or is it kind of a group project right now?
21:09It's like a group, yeah.
21:09Okay.
21:10We've all contributed a significant amount.
21:11Yeah.
21:12Robbie has ideas that he's bringing to the scene, and I have ideas that I'm bringing to the scene, and it's more about just us navigating how those ideas work together.
21:20You guys want to run this really quick?
21:22Yeah.
21:22Let's give it a shot.
21:24What's up?
21:25Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
21:28Deviled eggs.
21:28They're classic.
21:29And what did you bring?
21:31Brownies.
21:31Like a normal person.
21:33Okay.
21:33Rustin and I have developed a backstory that I'm kind of, like, the tech brother who's, like, really always working all the time on his phone, and he's maybe, like, the music guy who's a little bit more artsy, and so it's a fun kind of specific dynamic that we've created.
21:47Really great to meet you guys.
21:49Yes, okay, so, Shane, these are my brothers.
21:51Thanks for letting me crash the neighborhood block party.
21:53Knowing that the boyfriend role doesn't have as much screen time as the brothers' roles do, I have to make sure that all the screen time that I have really counts.
22:03If you're comfortable with it, because it says, like, a cute, sweet moment, like, a little, like, nose thing, like, before we walk away.
22:09Sure.
22:10Yeah, so, be like, a little...
22:10No, we can do that, yeah.
22:11Little nose.
22:12Yeah, yeah.
22:12Cute.
22:13And then, okay, I'll be right back.
22:14And we kind of talked about, like, a look between the three siblings.
22:17Like, we all know these are...
22:18We all have a little bit of a cookie left in the mouth.
22:20Okay.
22:20In this challenge, it's so important to bring our own creative perspective to this, and so I'm hoping that our ideas will play out really well.
22:29Great job, your time's up.
22:31Go ahead and put your props down.
22:32Get back in place.
22:33It's time to do the scene.
22:34Thank you so much.
22:35We figured it out, and everybody was making sure that they were in front of their camera.
22:39I just got to make sure that I bring it in my own way.
22:41Davey, since you won the advantage, you can join Melissa and I at the monitors.
22:45Totally.
22:46It's great to be in the booth with Melissa and Jonathan, and I'm curious to see what they're going to come up with.
22:51All right, places, top of the show.
22:54Roll sound, roll camera.
22:57Everybody, set, settle, and action.
23:04Who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
23:07Deviled eggs.
23:09They're a classic.
23:10What did you bring?
23:10Brownies.
23:11Like a normal person?
23:13Oh, wow.
23:14Oh, it's Leah.
23:16She, uh, she says she's here.
23:20You've never met this guy, right?
23:22Nope, but 20 bucks says he's wearing a polo and khakis.
23:25Nah, my money's on, uh, stress jeans.
23:29You're on.
23:30Oh, all right.
23:32Okay.
23:33Do we even want to know what you two are shaking on?
23:37Merry Christmas.
23:38Merry Christmas.
23:39Merry Christmas.
23:39Merry Christmas.
23:39Get over here, sis.
23:41Good to see you.
23:42Play of yourselves.
23:43Okay, uh, you guys, this is Shane, and Shane, these are my brothers.
23:49It's really great to meet you guys.
23:51Yeah, we're so happy to meet you.
23:54I want them to feel more like brothers.
23:56Yes.
23:57So, uh, what do you got there?
23:58Oh, cookies.
23:59I baked them myself, but you guys should probably know I've never actually used the oven, so
24:04I don't know if they're actually going to turn out very good.
24:06Oh, a risk taker.
24:08I like it.
24:09Hey, I am sure they're going to be delicious.
24:11Maybe you guys should try one before I set them out.
24:15Yeah?
24:16Oh.
24:16Yeah.
24:17Yeah.
24:19Come on, guys.
24:21There we go.
24:21Thanks.
24:22Yeah.
24:24Mmm.
24:25Mmm.
24:26Mmm.
24:26I love how they take their time.
24:28Milk this moment.
24:29Mmm.
24:29Mmm.
24:30Yeah?
24:30Mmm-hmm.
24:31Yeah.
24:32These are...
24:33They're something.
24:37They're like nothing I've tasted before.
24:40They're so good.
24:42You guys are lying.
24:44They're terrible, aren't they?
24:45Mmm-mm-mm-mm.
24:46Mmm-mm-mm.
24:47Baby, they're...
24:48They're really...
24:49So good.
24:50Yeah, I'm just...
24:52Well, I'm really thirsty.
24:53Would you mind giving me something to drink?
24:54Sure thing.
24:56I'll be right back.
25:04Those were awful.
25:07What did he put in those?
25:08Rumming alcohol?
25:09Oh, come on, you guys.
25:11Please.
25:11I said to be nice.
25:12Now, see, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.
25:15What do you mean?
25:16We're nice.
25:17We are always kind to your boyfriends.
25:19Really?
25:20Because the last time I brought a guy home for Christmas,
25:22you lured him into the backyard when the sprinkler system was on.
25:25That was an innocent mistake.
25:29How did we know that Mom kept the sprinklers on in the middle of winter?
25:33Yeah.
25:33They almost feel like they're overacting a little bit, these two.
25:36Can we just go easy on him, please?
25:39I figured you guys could use one after having to eat those cookies.
25:43No!
25:44No!
25:44No!
25:45Good, good.
25:45Guys, guys, guys, guys.
25:47It's okay.
25:49I forgot to put the sugar in the cookies.
25:53That tracks.
25:55It happens.
25:57It's the thought that counts, babe.
25:59What do you guys say we take a little selfie to commemorate me bombing the first introduction?
26:05All right.
26:05It's a great idea.
26:06I'll take it.
26:07Ready?
26:08Say Merry Christmas.
26:10Merry Christmas.
26:11Have fun with that.
26:15Your brothers look stupid.
26:16Go for it.
26:17Make me laugh.
26:17Funny.
26:18Make me laugh.
26:18Make us laugh.
26:19And I would like to propose a toast to new friends.
26:24Yeah, dude, don't worry about the cookies, man.
26:25We're happy to have you.
26:27Aw, thanks, guys.
26:29Okay, I'm going to send our selfie to everyone really quick.
26:35Really?
26:35You guys, that is so immature.
26:38Gosh, really?
26:39Hey, come back here.
26:42Oh, you are nothing but trouble.
26:46I think I'm going to need another one of these.
26:50And cut!
26:53What did you learn?
26:54A lot.
26:55Take your time.
26:56Don't rush.
26:57Do you have brothers?
26:58Yeah.
26:58Yes.
26:58Do you guys give each other, like, totally?
27:00Yeah, we're going to be channeling through that.
27:01I want you and Craig to be the people that we love to hate.
27:04Yeah.
27:04Robbie and Rustin didn't necessarily bring the same kind of brotherly energy
27:08that I knew Craig and I were going to bring,
27:11so I think that'll play to our advantage.
27:13This is going to be fun.
27:14Yeah, yeah.
27:15Let's go.
27:15Have fun.
27:15Have fun, have fun.
27:16You got this.
27:18Oh, God.
27:19Coming up, there was some sort of power struggle happening.
27:22Merry Christmas!
27:24Oh, I think it's rain, guys.
27:25One of you out-acted the other just by a hair.
27:35Wow.
27:36That was fast.
27:38That was quick.
27:39The moment when we eat the cookies, like, really take your time.
27:43Taste the cookie.
27:44Yeah, rather than bite.
27:46Nasty.
27:46You got to taste it first.
27:47With the advantage, I also feel like it comes with a little bit of extra pressure.
27:50There's probably going to be some expectations to perform.
27:54For the photo, the photo bomb it.
27:56However big you can, you know, without, like, disrupting the scene.
27:59So I kind of hashed out some last-minute things to prove to myself
28:02and to everybody else that I belong here.
28:05Hi, guys.
28:06Hey, ladies.
28:06Hey, team two.
28:07Davey, your team has 10 minutes to rehearse.
28:10Okay.
28:10Perfect.
28:11Good luck.
28:11Now, is there, like, a leader?
28:13Is everyone working together as a team?
28:14Working together as a team.
28:15Yeah.
28:15Okay.
28:16Yeah.
28:16All right.
28:17I love it.
28:17Do you want to show me what you guys have planned so far for?
28:19Yeah.
28:19Okay.
28:20Going into rehearsal, I'm not worried about me.
28:23I want to make sure my guys are going to shine.
28:26If they start shining, Hunter and I are going to shine.
28:30Before we start the rehearsal, we need to find our marks
28:33because we have our cameras and your cameras.
28:37And this is the Y.
28:38I helped co-direct this short film.
28:41Having that experience, I know how to hit certain marks
28:45and make sure the camera can see us.
28:48She'll end right here and here, and that way we both have our cameras.
28:51Okay.
28:51So it'll be kind of maybe one of these lines?
28:53Sure.
28:53I'm more or less letting Angel dictate a lot of the situation with this scene.
28:57Take the lead.
28:58Cool.
28:58Let's run it.
28:59That way we don't waste more time.
29:00Okay, cool.
29:01And I feel good about us.
29:03Ready?
29:04Yep.
29:04I want to immediately establish the fact that we are brothers.
29:08So we decided to improv a couple lines at the very top of the scene.
29:12Nice outfit, man.
29:13Did mom dress you up in that?
29:14Yeah, probably.
29:15You got a blazer?
29:17You running for office?
29:18Or what's going on?
29:18Watch the camera.
29:20What's going on?
29:21Craig and Davey, if you don't mind.
29:22Go ahead.
29:23Do your scene to your cameras, set this up,
29:26and find a moment that brings you back here looking at the space
29:31so then when we come in, you don't block our campus.
29:34Yeah.
29:34You have to find your camera so it can see the faces.
29:38I'm starting to sweat.
29:39Not because of the weather,
29:40but because of how this is going to turn out.
29:44Nice outfit, man.
29:45Mom dress you up in that?
29:46Yeah.
29:46Probably.
29:47There is a lot happening here.
29:50It's a group ensemble, a bunch of dialogue.
29:52Are you guys going to do the shake really quick too?
29:54Between the two of you?
29:55That was the moment.
29:56Right.
29:56That's okay.
29:57That's okay.
29:58Because I got to reference your shake.
30:00How did we forget that one?
30:01I'm just hoping that I can latch on and do the best I can.
30:05And Shane, these are my brothers.
30:06Shane.
30:07Hey, Shane.
30:07What's going on, Shane?
30:08It's great to meet you guys.
30:09What do you got there?
30:11Cookies.
30:12I baked them myself.
30:13The success of a scene isn't just about one person.
30:16It's about all of us.
30:17So Craig and I are kind of trying to lean into the playful brother act
30:21without being overly obnoxious.
30:22Everybody say Merry Christmas.
30:24Merry Christmas.
30:26It finally started to come together.
30:29You guys are so immature.
30:32I guess I'm going to need another one of these.
30:34Here we go.
30:35Let's do it.
30:36Now we have to kind of bring this thing to life.
30:38I'm hoping we don't commit the same mistakes.
30:41And action.
30:43Hey, dude, really loving that outfit.
30:45Didn't mom dress you up in that?
30:46Nope.
30:47Dressed myself.
30:48What's up with the blaze?
30:48Are you in your eggs running for office?
30:50Or, I mean, who brings eggs to a Christmas party?
30:53Deviled eggs.
30:54Literally classic.
30:55What do you got, brownies?
30:56Yeah.
30:57I got brownies like a normal person.
30:58Oh, it's Leah.
31:02Huh.
31:03She said they're here.
31:04Hey, have you actually met this guy?
31:06No.
31:07Uh, 20 bucks, though, says he's a polo khakis kind of guy.
31:12My money's on distressed jeans.
31:13Yeah.
31:14You're on.
31:15Oh, there they are.
31:15Oh, here.
31:16Hey.
31:17Oh, do I even want to know what you two are shaking on?
31:18No, you don't.
31:19No.
31:20Okay, please behave.
31:21Yeah, yeah.
31:22You guys, this is Shane.
31:24Oh, Shane.
31:24Shane, these are my brothers.
31:26Hey, Shane, what's going on?
31:27Hey, Shane.
31:28How are you?
31:29It was really great to meet you guys.
31:30What do you got there?
31:31Some cookies?
31:32Cookies.
31:32Yeah, looks like it.
31:33Yeah, I baked them myself.
31:35But I've never actually used my oven before.
31:38See, I'm...
31:39Sure, why not?
31:43Thanks.
31:43Let me know what you think.
31:45Hmm.
31:47Wow.
31:49Mmm, that's...
31:50That's something.
31:54It's so good.
31:55Craig is so good.
31:56I'm a little thirsty, but you mind getting me something to drink?
31:59Sure thing, baby.
32:00Okay.
32:04Davey is coming alive.
32:06It literally tastes like rubbing a hole.
32:08I was nasty.
32:09You guys, no, come on.
32:10I said you had to be nice.
32:12See, this is why I never introduce you to anybody.
32:14We are nice.
32:16Really?
32:16Because the last guy that I brought home for Christmas, you lured him outside into the
32:20backyard when the sprinkler system was on.
32:21Whoa, that was an innocent mistake.
32:24I mean, how were we supposed to know that mom puts the sprinklers on in the winter?
32:26Who does that?
32:27Yeah.
32:28Okay, well, look, I really like him, so just go easy, okay?
32:30All right, all right, all right.
32:31I figured everyone needed one after having to eat those cookies.
32:34Oh, I made an honest mistake.
32:36I forgot to put the sugar in.
32:39All right, it's an honest mistake.
32:40Just, thanks.
32:42What do you say if we dish these cookies and the four of us take a selfie to commemorate
32:48me totally bombing our first introduction?
32:51Let's go for it.
32:52Yeah, yeah, but I like that idea.
32:54Go on that side.
32:55All right, everyone say Merry Christmas.
32:57Merry Christmas.
32:59Oh, I think it's raining guys.
33:01Oh.
33:02Oh.
33:03He poured the drink on his head.
33:05Brilliant, Davey.
33:06Don't worry about the cookie thing.
33:07We're, yeah, we're glad you're here.
33:09Thank you guys.
33:10You really are the best.
33:12Hey, okay, I'm going to send the selfie to everybody real quick.
33:16Yeah.
33:18Come on, you guys.
33:19That is so immature.
33:21Really?
33:22Hey, get back here.
33:23Hey.
33:25I think I'm going to need another one of these.
33:28Nice.
33:29And cut.
33:33There they are.
33:34Hey, guys.
33:35How are you feeling?
33:36How'd it go?
33:37How'd it go?
33:38That's a confident looking guy right there.
33:39Yeah, yeah.
33:40I know, I know.
33:40How are you guys feeling?
33:41Hey, hey, hey.
33:42I mean, bro, I always feel confident after.
33:45Davey's advantage really helped us out, and I think we crushed that scene.
33:49But Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus, they're really strong.
33:51So, I mean, this is a coin toss.
33:54As far as, like, that selfie moment, I was pretending to spill my drink on Angel,
33:57and I actually, like, spilled a little bit of it.
33:59After we were done with it, I was like, I hope my hair is okay.
34:02He was a great sport about that.
34:05Let's talk about Team 1, Robbie, Rustin, and Marcus.
34:09I felt like Marcus did a really good job playing that boyfriend role,
34:12because the other two brought a lot of energy and a lot of strong choices.
34:16I do wish Marcus maybe brought up his energy just a little bit, like you said, in that nervous.
34:21Yeah, matched the room.
34:21Matched the room a little bit.
34:23Robbie did feel like he was overacting.
34:25I wanted maybe to see that more, um, I actually love my sister.
34:30A little bit of a real moment, like, you know what, we love you.
34:33A little bit more of that.
34:34Yeah.
34:35Agreed.
34:36Now, for me, this was the first time where Rustin and Robbie, I felt, were disconnected in a scene.
34:42And I think it's because they had a little bit of a challenge with the leadership of this scene.
34:47It just felt like there was some sort of power struggle happening.
34:51Let's talk about Team 2.
34:53Davey, Craig, and Angel.
34:55There was a few times I thought that Davey could have, um, reacted more and stayed in it and filled the space.
35:01Yeah.
35:01Because Craig was giving him so much comedy, so much gold.
35:04He could have reacted to the other actors more in that scene.
35:09Agreed.
35:09Yeah.
35:10Agreed.
35:10Craig came in hot.
35:11I think he's so funny.
35:13And, you know, I'm a sucker for a funny guy.
35:15The faces he made, the choices he made.
35:18Did mom pick that out?
35:19That was really smart.
35:20I love that.
35:20It established their relationship immediately.
35:22He felt super present.
35:23I felt like that the whole time from him.
35:25I really enjoyed his performance.
35:27And what about Angel?
35:28He was a great team player.
35:30Yeah.
35:31The one thing with Angel is I think sometimes he can lose a little bit of the momentum in the scene.
35:39Uh-huh.
35:40We have a big decision to make, but unfortunately, one of our guys has to go home.
35:45No.
35:47Good luck with it, Hunter.
35:48Good luck, Hunter.
35:49We're leaving this decision to you.
35:50No, you stay right here.
35:52You stay right here.
35:52Bye-bye now.
35:53And you come with it.
35:54Bye-bye.
35:54Yeah, let's go.
35:55Bye-bye.
35:55Bye, Hunter.
35:56Bye.
35:56Have fun making the decision.
35:57All by yourself.
35:59I think we get rid of Jonathan, right?
36:02No?
36:03Okay.
36:10Walking into each elimination now, there's no more feeling safe.
36:17There's no more feeling confident.
36:18We're getting down to the nitty-gritty, and anyone could go at any time.
36:21Hello, gentlemen.
36:24One of you will be named this week's shining star, and one of you will be headed home for the holidays.
36:30In today's star quality challenge, we asked you to work as a team, help each other shine, bring your own twist to the script, and show us your star quality.
36:39All while staying connected to each other and your incredible co-star, Hunter King.
36:45Hunter, how do you think the guys did?
36:47I think they all did a really great job.
36:49It was so much fun getting to work with them and watch them grow as actors.
36:53There can only be one shining star tonight.
36:57And that person was a team player, used their gift of acting to elevate their co-stars,
37:03and the person that added comedy, along with believability, when it came to portraying brothers.
37:13The winner of the star quality challenge and tonight's shining star is...
37:20Craig, congratulations.
37:24Congrats.
37:26That's a good rookie job.
37:28Well done.
37:29I think you really shined in that scene, and you had great instincts.
37:38I thought I was gone, man.
37:41I've been doing this a long time now.
37:45You audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition, and you audition.
37:50It gets exhausting.
37:52Yeah.
37:52Well, congratulations.
37:53You were very, very funny in this scene.
37:57Angel and Davey, you're safe.
38:03Rustin, Marcus, Robbie, one of you will be going home.
38:12Okay.
38:13Robbie, how do you feel this challenge was for you today?
38:16Right at the beginning, I thought that there maybe should be one voice.
38:19But then I thought, actually, for this, it was really nice to work collaboratively with my team, for us all to have a say.
38:28Rustin, tell me about the part you played in your team.
38:31I felt that Robbie and I were really in sync.
38:34There was a lot of overlap that made it feel like we were both really, like, on the same page.
38:38I felt like Marcus was such a team player, and he had some great collaborative recommendations.
38:43And I almost felt like watching you guys interact with each other gave me that thing to act off of.
38:50Okay.
38:50Yeah.
38:51That makes sense.
38:55Rustin.
38:58Robbie.
39:00Will you please step down?
39:01In today's challenge, you both were at fault for competing with each other when we asked you to work as a team.
39:10That leaves us to judge you purely on your acting in the scene today.
39:15And one of you out-acted the other just by a hair.
39:22One of you will be going home right now.
39:26I'm not ready to go home.
39:28I want to stay here.
39:29My palms are sweaty.
39:31I'm so close to having a dream, like, a slip through my fingertips.
39:36Unfortunately.
39:42Robbie.
39:43It's time to take your stocking down.
39:46You're going home for the holidays.
39:52This has been, like, a life-changing experience.
39:54You have been such an important person to me for so long.
39:57And to have been picked by you to come here is beyond my wildest dreams.
40:05And I just want to make you proud.
40:08You made me proud.
40:16And you made our community proud.
40:24That means the world to me.
40:26Yes.
40:26Give it up for Robbie.
40:34Love you, Robbie.
40:35Love you, Robbie.
40:36The thing that I didn't know about being here is just how close I was going to feel with the other guys.
40:41They're so wonderful.
40:43And to be accepted by all of these guys is so meaningful.
40:47I know it seems cliche, but you have to follow your dreams.
40:51You have to go do it.
40:52You have one life.
40:53You have to shoot for the moon.
40:54And if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
40:56I didn't make it to the moon.
40:58But I'm definitely landing among the stars.
41:03We're at the stage now of splitting hairs.
41:06So you've got to bring it to every challenge.
41:09We'll see you next time as we continue the search to find Mr. Christmas.
41:17I don't think anybody saw this one coming.
41:20Robbie has been a big time player from day one.
41:23We're down to the final five now.
41:25This is serious.
41:26It's anyone's game.
41:36We're down to the final five now.
