00:00I guess I'm learning to ride a horse today.
00:12Never go behind a horse, man.
00:14Eight holiday hunks were still jingling all the way toward that hallmark leading role.
00:19In the festive face-off, the guys built gingerbread houses that showed off their Christmas spirit.
00:24These look awesome.
00:26Then, in the star quality challenge,
00:27this is a cowboy Christmas.
00:30They shared the screen with a hallmark superstar and a scene-stealing horse.
00:34Real-life cowboy on our hands.
00:36Kind of in my blood.
00:37Some hit their stride.
00:38I don't rest till I get it.
00:40Is it hot in here or is it rusted?
00:42While others stumbled, Marcus delivered pure leading man energy.
00:47Yee-haw, look at you.
00:49The one that has never been a horse before, flawless.
00:51Congratulations.
00:53But for Logan.
00:54You just want to grab your reins?
00:55He missed a lot of the lines.
00:57It was the end of the road.
00:58Take your stocking down.
00:59You're going home for the holidays.
01:01Now, seven hunks remain as we continue the search to find Mr. Christmas.
01:06How do you feel about last night?
01:14That was something.
01:15Seeing Logan and Gabe on the bottom two.
01:20You guys talking about me or what?
01:21Speaking of...
01:21Yeah, man.
01:22Speaking of...
01:22I'm just going to make all of these.
01:25Oh, you're making eggs?
01:26He eats Craig the egg.
01:27That's what they call me.
01:28I guess I'm not eating breakfast today.
01:29Then, if you're doing it.
01:31Okay.
01:31I was going to make for six anyway.
01:34Oh, okay.
01:35Perfect.
01:36We were saying...
01:37We were talking about...
01:40You know, last night.
01:42Second time down there and you've survived both times.
01:44Congrats.
01:45How are you feeling?
01:46Well, I feel grateful that I'm still here.
01:48You deserve to be here, man.
01:49Yeah.
01:49It is a new day and I'm going to give it my all like I have every time.
01:53But it takes a little bit to feel good again after rejection.
01:57Like, it's not like, if I didn't want this, then...
01:59You mean you're a human being?
02:00Yeah.
02:00Oh, wow.
02:02There's only seven of us left and the competition is getting tougher and tougher.
02:06I have something to prove.
02:08I just got to stay focused and keep going.
02:10I'm just happy to be here with you guys.
02:12I'm glad that I get to wake up and talk to you guys after a tough night like that.
02:18We believe in you.
02:19Thanks, man.
02:20Appreciate you.
02:21100%.
02:22I can tell Gabe has what it takes to be successful in this career.
02:28His charm, his smile, his temples, his energy.
02:32And I want him to shine.
02:34Look at this.
02:35Look at this hearty breakfast.
02:37Oh, I got it.
02:37There you go, guys.
02:38It looks excellent, so...
02:40It looks excellent, man.
02:42Has everyone here worn a festive face-up?
02:45I have not.
02:46I haven't.
02:46But who's, like, won something?
02:49Almost everybody here.
02:50I haven't won anything.
02:53You've won our hearts.
02:54You're winning by being here.
02:56Oh!
02:59Let's go find him.
03:00Let's go find him.
03:00Where are they?
03:02It's time for another festive face-up, and whatever it is, I am ready to take it because
03:08it is time for me to win.
03:10Come on down, boys.
03:11Oh, my God.
03:12I'm hoping to make this three festive face-off wins in a row.
03:18Hey, guys.
03:18Hey.
03:19Seven of you remain in the game as the competition is heating up like chestnuts on an open fire.
03:25And let me tell you, that's hot.
03:28While you're all incredibly talented, only one of you will walk out of here with a leading
03:32role in a Hallmark holiday movie and be crowned Mr. Christmas.
03:36Yeah!
03:37In today's festive face-off, you'll be slipping like a baby reindeer on ice.
03:44Here's how it's going to snow down.
03:46Starting at the top of this icy hill, you'll dash down this slippery mountain like a runaway
03:50train, grab your candy cane, and run up the slope like you're racing towards the North
03:56Pole.
03:56And repeat this pattern three times.
03:58Each of you has your own color candy cane.
04:01That's the only color you can use.
04:04The first hunk to get all three of their candy canes into that giant mug and ring the bell
04:09wins.
04:09I absolutely need to win this.
04:11I could use any advantage I can get.
04:13Before you slip, slide, and slay the frosty hill, I need to bring out the peppermint stick
04:19to my hot cocoa.
04:21Please welcome the one and only Melissa Peterman.
04:25Oh my gosh, I've been waiting behind that tree since 5 a.m. because I'm so excited for
04:34this one.
04:35All right, guys, go and get changed.
04:36I'll see you back here, ready to slide all the way.
04:39Let's go, let's hustle, go, go, go.
04:41Come on.
04:42Jonathan, man, you're my guy, but these challenges, dude, like, you better watch your back.
04:47You're in for it.
04:47There's going to be some payback coming your way.
04:49Let's do this.
04:53You guys ready?
04:54Oh, yeah.
04:55I will slip down.
04:56Watch out, don't slip down.
04:57It's already slippery.
04:58Like, is this going to be dangerous?
05:00Are you guys ready to start?
05:02Because I am running on candy canes in excitement right now.
05:07The fun starts now.
05:16I'll be careful together.
05:18So for this challenge, we have to run all the way down to one side of the hill, grab
05:23our candy cane, and then run back up the other steeper side in order to put it inside
05:28a tin cup.
05:29Whoever gets all three of their candy canes in the cup first wins.
05:33Oh, no.
05:34Maybe low center of gravity and trying to crawl up the hill might help me out.
05:44I was a sprinter in high school, so I know speed and endurance are going to matter the
05:48most in this festive face-off.
05:50Here comes Gabriel.
05:51Here comes Gabriel.
05:52This is very slippery and very steep.
05:55I need to get as much momentum as I can to get back to the top.
05:59To the top.
06:00Oh, my gosh.
06:01Gabriel's got one in.
06:04There goes Angel.
06:05I think my soccer skills are going to come into place.
06:08It's all about speed and sliding.
06:11Oh, my gosh.
06:12All right.
06:13That's Angel.
06:14Angel's got one in.
06:22Okay, Gabriel just wiped out.
06:24Gabe, are you okay?
06:26Oh, my God.
06:26I'm tired.
06:27You guys, you're machines.
06:29You can do this.
06:31I'm making zero progress.
06:33Dude, there's no way.
06:36I can't figure out what to do.
06:37Come on, Marcus.
06:38It's very tiring.
06:38Let's go.
06:39Oh, no.
06:40How'd you guys get up this?
06:42This is going to be hard.
06:44Speed's going to come into play.
06:45I weigh a lot more than almost every single guy.
06:48No.
06:49They might have more stamina.
06:51You know, I don't do a lot of cardio.
06:54Oh, my.
06:56How did you get?
06:59Mayday.
06:59Mayday.
07:00A lot harder than it looks.
07:01And I just feel myself slipping backwards.
07:03Robbie.
07:04Robbie.
07:04Robbie.
07:05Robbie.
07:05You got this.
07:05You got this.
07:06Robbie.
07:08And my dreams of winning that third festive face-off are also slipping away.
07:13Dang.
07:14You okay?
07:14You okay?
07:15Yeah.
07:15Come on, Rustin.
07:16Come on, Rustin.
07:17You got this.
07:18Oh.
07:20What the heck, dude?
07:24Are you kidding me?
07:25This is not a good strategy.
07:30I'm going to have to go as fast as I can in order to be able to catch up.
07:37Woo!
07:38Davey's in.
07:39Okay.
07:40Oh, man.
07:43I'm tired.
07:45I have my second candy cane in hand.
07:48I'm going to run really fast and make it to the top.
07:52Here we go.
07:52Come on.
07:53Angel, angel, angel, angel, angel.
07:54Come on.
07:56Get up there.
07:57You can do it.
07:58No.
07:58No.
07:58All right, angel.
08:07Oh, here comes Gabriel.
08:08Gabriel.
08:09Gabriel.
08:10Oh.
08:11Gabriel just ate it.
08:12That was like cherries of fire for a second and then it got real bad.
08:16Oh, my gosh.
08:17Gabe's got two in.
08:19And I'm gassed.
08:20I'm exhausted.
08:22After watching Gabe, light bulb went off.
08:25You can't crawl on this.
08:26You have to just run right through.
08:28Craig.
08:28Craig's got one in.
08:30Davey has one.
08:31Angel has one.
08:32Craig has one.
08:33Gabe has two.
08:34Does anyone need a hug?
08:35Does anyone?
08:36I could use a hug.
08:38Okay, let's wait until you're changed.
08:41Angel dropped a candy cane.
08:43I know I have the lead.
08:45I'm just trying to recharge and regain some of my energy before I charge back up this mountain
08:50for the last time.
08:52All right, here comes Robbie.
08:53Come on, Robbie.
08:54Come on, Robbie.
08:55Robbie.
08:55Robbie.
08:56I am completely winded.
08:59Here comes Craig.
09:00Okay, Craig.
09:02Come on, Craig.
09:03Oh, my gosh.
09:04Craig.
09:05Craig, that's two.
09:06Now, I just need one more.
09:08Yeah.
09:11I don't think I'm going to throw up.
09:13You got harder.
09:14I noticed Gabe doesn't have more energy.
09:17This is my chance to get the win.
09:19Maybe if you take off your shirt, it'll be more aerodynamic.
09:22Here comes Angel.
09:22Here comes Angel.
09:23Ah!
09:26Angel's got two in.
09:27Gabe has two.
09:28Angel has two.
09:29Craig's got two.
09:30They each need one more.
09:32The next one to get one in wins.
09:34Does Angel just have to get this one right here?
09:37Thankfully, my other candy cane that I dropped earlier is already there.
09:41I don't have to run back.
09:43This could be for the win.
09:45Reaching.
09:46And I see Gabe behind me making it to the top.
09:49Oh, my gosh.
09:53Angel just got three in.
09:55Angel is our winner.
09:56Congratulations.
09:58Every time a bell rings, Angel gets his win.
10:02Is this for real?
10:03Can someone pinch me?
10:08Good job, dude.
10:12Me and the guys give each other the eye.
10:14Oh, my gosh.
10:15We're going to give Jonathan a taste of his own medicine.
10:18How's it going?
10:18You good?
10:19Oh, no.
10:20Oh, no.
10:20Oh, no.
10:20Oh, no.
10:25Oh, no.
10:26Oh, no.
10:27I'm so sorry I put you through that.
10:31No, no, no, no, no.
10:32Run, Melissa.
10:33Run.
10:33No.
10:35This was a nail-biter, but Angel, congratulations, Angel.
10:39As the winner of the festive face-off, you will be getting an advantage, which I will reveal
10:44at the star quality challenge.
10:46I cannot wait to find out what this advantage is.
10:48Oh, and did I not mention, you all will be performing as a contestant in the Mr. Christmas
10:56pageant.
10:57Wow.
10:58That's right.
11:01It's your next star quality challenge.
11:03That means each of you needs a talent to perform at the pageant.
11:07I'm a personal trainer and model.
11:09Okay, what the heck is my talent going to be?
11:12Hit the showers, boys!
11:13That was so much more exhausting and so much harder than I could have ever imagined.
11:21And I was like, if I die trying, I will die.
11:23It paid off.
11:26That's the right attitude.
11:27That's hard.
11:27That's good, man.
11:28That's good.
11:29I think it's interesting, though, that we're going to all have to do this Mr. Christmas pageant.
11:34I was originally thinking, like, throw a football at targets, but, like, it feels kind of lame.
11:38My head automatically goes towards doing something active.
11:41I don't know what else I would do, you know?
11:44Obviously, my first thought is to sing, so I'm probably going to sing something.
11:48It's hard to not be jealous of certain guys like Rustin, where you know exactly what their talent is probably going to be.
11:55You're probably going to bring it.
11:56I'm certainly going to do my best.
11:57My whole family was actually in a Christian ministry band that toured around Arizona.
12:02I sang, and my brother played the drums, and my mom sang, and I played the bass guitar, and my sister sang with us.
12:08We were like the Christian Partridge family.
12:10I'm a little scared. I don't know if I can think of a talent that is going to be worthy to stand up to you guys.
12:15So, hopefully, I can figure something out.
12:18Coming up.
12:22What's going on here?
12:24Welcome to Marcus's Magical Touch.
12:27I'm getting kind of warm.
12:29Oh, my gosh.
12:34You are so composed since day one when I walked in and we started chatting.
12:38Thanks, man.
12:40My life has been such an interesting example of taking those moments that you have that are maybe difficult or tragic and overcoming them.
12:49I've been in some gnarly car wrecks, but the last time I went down on a motorcycle, I hit the ground at 90 miles an hour.
12:55Yeah, that's insane.
12:56And I slid for about 200 yards across all of the lanes and didn't get run over.
13:04And to this day, I don't understand, but I'm as thankful as you could possibly imagine to be here.
13:10I think I have a significant appreciation for life for all the close calls that I've had.
13:16I think at this point in my life, I feel confidence and comfortability with who I am.
13:22It blew out my knee, it blew out my ankle, it blew out my shoulder, slipped discs in my back.
13:27I struggled with basic stuff, you know, like walking, running.
13:31I'm so thankful to come out the other side of it with, like, the capabilities that I have and the knowledge that I have from learning from those experiences.
13:37It just, I feel like I can take on anything.
13:40But it's one of the reasons that I value and appreciate all these opportunities that we have.
13:46Like, you can't take that for granted, you know?
13:49Rustin has always been so confident and unshakable in big moments.
13:53I think the best impetus to reach success is having setbacks.
13:57But if you focus on the things that you have as strengths, you focus on the things that you can accomplish,
14:01you focus on the things that you do have to offer, those are the things that are going to show up.
14:05And that's what I'm focusing on.
14:10I honestly have no idea what Jonathan has in store for us, you know?
14:13It's always a surprise.
14:15Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
14:16Guys, what's that?
14:18Look at that.
14:19Wait, wait, wait, they're pageant sashes.
14:21Oh.
14:24We also have this, guys.
14:26What's it say?
14:27Read it.
14:29Mr. Christmas.
14:29That's me.
14:30Oh, it's for me.
14:32After your uphill dashes, here are your sashes.
14:37See you at your next star quality challenge.
14:40Sincerely, Jonathan.
14:41You guys ready to cruise?
14:43I'm ready.
14:43I'm ready.
14:44Ready?
14:44Let's go dash out there, guys.
14:46Let's go.
14:47Let's do this thing.
14:48Does this go with my outfit?
14:52Oh, here we are, guys.
14:54Here we are.
14:55This is it.
14:56Let's do this thing, guys.
14:58Let's go.
14:58Let's go.
14:59Let's go.
15:00Let's time.
15:00We got this.
15:01Woo!
15:02Woo!
15:04There's a lot of people here.
15:05The intensity of this challenge is level up.
15:09Come on in.
15:11Welcome to the Tinseltown Theater.
15:13Woo!
15:13Woo!
15:14Guys, say hello to your audience.
15:16Woo!

15:18Woo!
15:18Woo!
15:19This is your next star quality challenge, the stage of the competition, where you get
15:24to show off and show us your talent and pageantry.
15:28This is the Mr. Talent pageant.
15:31Woo!
15:31Woo!
15:32Woo!
15:32Woo!
15:33Woo!

15:40Tyler Greene gives a true leading man.
15:41And those will be coming from our special guest judges and Hallmark Super Déferens,
15:46Gael and Alicia.
15:50You might recognize Gael and Alicia from the Hallmark show, Christmas at Sea.
15:54If anybody knows what makes a Hallmark leading man,
15:56it's a Hallmark super fan.
15:58Our fans' opinions are super important to us,
16:01and their voice matters.
16:03That's why we're so happy that they're here.
16:05And today, they're going to be very essential to you.
16:09Mm-hmm.
16:11They, along with Melissa, myself, and your guest judges,
16:14will be deciding your fate
16:15and voting on the winner of the Star Quality Challenge.
16:19Oh!
16:21Okay.
16:23To be successful in this challenge,
16:24we're going to really have to connect with the audience
16:27through our performances.
16:28I'm a rock singer.
16:29That's right in my wheelhouse.
16:30Gentlemen, you'll be judged on originality,
16:33showmanship, and, of course, star quality.
16:37Let's get this show started, shall we?
16:38Yeah!
16:40Craig, why don't you stay up here with me?
16:42The rest of you guys go take your seats.
16:44I know that this is a good opportunity for me
16:46to bring some wit and some humor into this.
16:49First up is Craig!
16:51Come on, man!
16:54It's showtime.
16:55Oh, my gosh.
17:05What's going on here?
17:06This is a song I wrote.
17:19It's called, I Am Mr. Christmas.
17:22DJ, spin it!
17:25Here we go, yup.
17:26Clap your hands to the beat, everybody.
17:27Hey, yup, that's it.
17:29Uh-huh.
17:30I am so cold with a packed jacket.
17:33Like a tennis player, because I'm packed with a racket.
17:35All this charisma, I do not lack it.
17:37These bars are a gift.
17:38You can say that I wrapped it and signed it
17:39at the bottom of the card.
17:41You already know I go hard.
17:42He's working the crowd.
17:44He's looking really cool.
17:46Let me hear you say, Mr.
17:47Mr.
17:48Say, Christmas.
17:49Christmas.
17:50It's definitely showing personality.
17:53Say, Mr.
17:54Mr.
17:55Christmas.
17:56Christmas.
17:57That's me.
17:58Yeah!
18:01I bet you didn't think you'd see a rapping Santa
18:04Claus today, did you?
18:05No.
18:06And now, Craig, it's time for the questions
18:08from the superfans.
18:10So, that was quite unique, what you did.
18:13But what other unique quality or trait would you bring
18:17to the Hallmark family?
18:19I think I can bring a lot of different traits
18:21to the Hallmark family.
18:22I'm in touch with my emotions.
18:25You might not see that from, you know, the jokes and the
18:27rapping up here on stage.
18:29But I think it's incredibly important for a leading man
18:31to be able to go through all of his emotions.
18:35You know, be vulnerable out there and let people see
18:38who he truly is.
18:40I think that I can bring that to the Hallmark family.
18:43All right, all right.
18:45Craig, good job, buddy.
18:46Get out of here.
18:48Give it up for Marcus.
18:51All right, Marcus.
18:54Welcome to Marcus's Magical Touch.
18:58So today, I'm going to be showing a little card trick.
19:01But first, I'm going to need an assistant to come up
19:04on stage with me.
19:06Mm.
19:07Oh, ooh.
19:08Right here in the white with the bow on your chest.
19:10Come on up.
19:11Come on up.
19:12Yes, come on up.
19:13Come on.
19:13Come on.
19:14This is my first time actually performing this for a crowd
19:17of people on a stage.
19:19And you don't know how the person that you bring up onto the
19:21stage is going to react.
19:23The trick can go wrong.
19:25Lovely assistant, can you please tell me your name?
19:27Brooke.
19:28OK, Brooke.
19:29So you're going to need this right here.
19:31This is for you, Brooke.
19:33There we go.
19:34OK, now, Brooke, choose a card.
19:37OK, don't tell me what it is.
19:38Make sure you choose the right card.
19:40Don't choose the wrong one.
19:41Oh, all right.
19:43Gently put it right back in.
19:45Let me know when you have it back in there, Brooke.
19:47All right, Brooke, which row is your card in?
19:50This row.
19:50This row right here.
19:51OK, so we're going to go ahead and scoop these cards
19:54right back up.
19:55I was helping him practice for his talent the night before,
19:57and he wasn't getting it right.
19:58In front of a live crowd, you get one shot and one shot only.
20:02So Marcus, I hope you nailed this.
20:05And here, OK, Brooke.
20:07So the last time, where is your card at?
20:10Which row is it in?
20:11It's in this row.
20:12It's in this row now.
20:13Ooh, now we're going to pick all these cards up.
20:16We are going to lay these cards out.
20:19I'm just hoping the talent is interesting enough that everybody
20:23in the crowd is really invested on whether or not I'm going
20:26to be able to pull it off.
20:28Please pick one of the Pals for me.
20:30Ooh, you want this one?
20:31OK, let's get rid of all of these.
20:34She wants that one, ladies and gentlemen.
20:35She wants that one.
20:37Please pick two more cards for me.
20:39Pick this one and this one.
20:40Ooh, we'll see you guys later.
20:42Ooh, we're down to two cards, everybody.
20:44We're down to two.
20:45Ladies and gentlemen, do you think one of these cards
20:47is her card?
20:48Yeah, OK.
20:49I am sitting on the edge of my seat,
20:51just like hoping and praying that Marcus is going
20:54to be able to pull this trick off.
20:55All right, Brooke.
20:56Was this the card?
21:01Coming up.
21:02Hey, everyone.
21:03I have been on stage before.
21:04I've been!
21:06I have never done this on a stage.
21:09Bachata.
21:10Oh, I'm getting it.
21:15I'm going to fix this one.
21:19OK, everybody.
21:22Let's see here.
21:26Was this the card that Brooke chose?
21:32Everybody, please, give it up for Brooke.
21:34Give it up for Brooke.
21:36She did amazing.
21:38Marcus, we have some questions for you.
21:42Hello, lovelies.
21:43Hello.
21:44So you just won the lottery.
21:46Who are you calling first?
21:48If I just won the lottery, I'm 100% giving my mom a call.
21:51It would be a dream to take care of my mom,
21:54make sure that she never has to worry about anything
21:56for the rest of her life.
21:59I'm extremely relieved.
22:00I got the trick done.
22:01I did it right.
22:02Give it up for Marcus!
22:05I'm really hoping that was enough to win them over.
22:08Go get them.
22:09I have been on stage before.
22:11I have never done this on a stage.
22:14You're killing it.
22:15Thanks.
22:16And I think that this is either going to go really great
22:19or really bad.
22:20Give it up for Robbie!
22:22Woo!
22:23Hey, everyone!
22:25Robbie!
22:28Can we just talk about eggnog?
22:30It tastes like milk lost a dare with alcoholic pancake batter.
22:34Another one of my favorite holiday traditions is the food, right?
22:40In November, I'm finding Mr. Christmas.
22:44But by January, I'm finding my elastic waistband.
22:47Yeah.
22:48True.
22:48True, true, true.
22:49No, but I am honored to be here with Jonathan Bennett.
22:53In Mean Girls, Jonathan was the high school heartthrob.
23:01On Hallmark, he's more like the high school principal.
23:08Boom!
23:09Right, right, right?
23:11Christmas, it's not about the trees.
23:13It's not about the eggnog.
23:15It's about family.
23:16It's about togetherness.
23:18And learning that if Jonathan Bennett can make it on Hallmark,
23:21anything is possible.
23:23Thank you so much.
23:24Merry Christmas!
23:26Give it up for Robbie!
23:29I feel so good.
23:32They say the best form of flattery is to be roasted.
23:36And so thank you, Robbie.
23:38This is one of the coolest experiences of my life.
23:41Alicia, do you have a question for Robbie?
23:42OK, so when you think about your life,
23:45what's one thing that you would like to redo
23:48if you had an opportunity to?
23:51About 10 years ago, my mom had a heart attack.
23:54And I spoke to her on the phone, and she said,
23:57it was a minor heart attack, and it wasn't a big deal.
23:59And so she said, don't come home.
24:01And I thought, best thing I can do for her is honor her wishes.
24:03I'm not going to go home.
24:06About a week later, she had a stroke and was in a coma
24:10and never woke up.
24:11And so I never got that chance to see her or be with her
24:15or say goodbye.
24:17So if I could go back and redo anything,
24:21I would go home the second that happened.
24:24It's something I think about far too often.
24:27Yeah.
24:28When you go through something like losing a parent,
24:30it's so much easier to just bury those feelings away.
24:33But I found in my life that talking about these things,
24:37it's healing for yourself, but it is healing for more people
24:42than you can ever fathom.
24:45And now, give it up for Rustin!
24:48Yeah!
24:50Hey, how's it going?
24:52What is up?
24:53Are you all having a good time today?
24:54Oh, yeah.
24:55So I'm going to sing a song for you all
24:57about how it felt to meet my wife for the first time.
25:02Aww.
25:08One look and I'm drawn in.
25:13One word and I'm back in my head again.
25:18I've been with my wife, Lindsay, since December of 2016.
25:21And we actually met in a chocolate shop.
25:23She walked in.
25:25I was stunned.
25:26I said, you look adorable.
25:28We went on a date the next day.
25:29And after that date, I said, I'm in love with her.
25:32I'm going to marry her.
25:33Because it's you and everything.
25:38And it's proven in the silence.
25:43And it's knowing if we really had to,
25:47we could do it on our own.
25:49He is absolutely amazing.
25:57He is so naturally gifted.
25:59So in Hallmark, a lot of the movies, you know, they've gone through some sort of adversity.
26:04Can you tell me a time when you had to go through some sort of adversity and how did you feel?
26:09I've been in quite a few accidents that have caused a lot of physical harm.
26:13And I think that the number one thing that I've found through all of it is that I was alive on the other side.
26:19I was here.
26:20I had something that I could look at as something that I had overcome.
26:24Thank you, thank you, thank you.
26:31Be yourself and have fun.
26:32Please welcome to the stage, Angel!
26:35Hello, everybody!
26:39Hola!
26:40Whenever I have a lot of eyes on me, I hear, in the silence, judgment.
26:46I put a lot of pressure on myself to not disappoint people.
26:50I grew up dancing Latin music, and it would be my honor to share some of that culture, love, happiness, and passion with all of you today.
27:00So, I will be dancing bachata.
27:03I would like to have a volunteer come up.
27:06You on the plaid, yes!
27:09Come up!
27:10Salsa, merengue, and bachata have shaped me into being outgoing, confident.
27:18What is your name?
27:19Kelly.
27:19Kelly, let's get the jitters out.
27:21Okay.
27:22So, shake your right hand, your left hand.
27:24You can just go, ah!
27:26Ah!
27:27There we go!
27:27This type of Latin dance brings a lot of joy and happiness to me, and I want to share this experience with the crowd.
27:37It's such a joy to dance.
27:44Yes!
27:44Let's give it a round of applause, Kelly.
27:46Wow!
27:47Let's give it up for Angel!
27:49Let's give it up for Angel!
27:50Let's give it up for Angel!
27:51Let's give it up for Angel!
27:52Gail.
27:53So, every Hallmark superfan knows that the leading man always does something to make the town better.
28:01What is something that you can do to make the world better?
28:05I would love to inspire by just being myself, coming to this country, not knowing any English, going through people that bully me, put me down.
28:15I never let that determine who I wanted to become.
28:19I want to be the example.
28:22Nice.
28:24Angel just keeps delivering that heart, that charm.
28:27He's probably my biggest competitor.
28:29Coming to the stage next, Gabriel!
28:31Doing this pageant is actually my worst nightmare.
28:35I get really nervous in front of crowds.
28:45I will be doing something very important to me, and that's a puzzle cube.
28:52Coming up, are you getting warmed up?
28:54Yes.
28:55Woo!
28:56I'm getting kind of warm.
28:57I might need to sit down.
28:58What?
29:01One of you will be going home right now.
29:08Oh!
29:09Ooh!
29:10So today, I will be doing something very important to me, and that's a puzzle cube.
29:16Yeah!
29:17Wall balancing on a balance board.
29:21Interesting.
29:22It's like an unconventional talent.
29:24So I need you guys to make some noise for me while I do this.
29:30Here we go.
29:32I chose the puzzle cube because it has a lot of meaning in the growth I've had as a person.
29:38Oops.
29:41As a kid, the first time I tried to do a puzzle cube, it took me two hours to figure out how to do it.
29:46And because of my perseverance, I was able to get that time down to 40 seconds.
29:52We believe in you!
29:56Oh, I'm getting it!
29:58I've spent all of my life thinking that I wasn't capable of great things, and the puzzle cube reminded me that if I just put my mind to something, I can really do anything.
30:09There it is!
30:15Great job, Gabe.
30:17Great job.
30:18If you had to think about your life, what would you tell your younger self? What would be the message?
30:23You have nothing to worry about. All you have to do is believe in yourself, and everything will happen. Like what I just did here.
30:29Good job. Good job.
30:32And for your final hunk coming to the stage, give it up for Davey!
30:40Today, I'm going to be taking somebody through a few holiday-inspired exercises.
30:44I'm going to need a volunteer from the audience.
30:48No, Melissa. No, Melissa. You can't volunteer.
30:51Let's go right here. Give it up for her.
30:53Give it up for her.
30:54I've taught a million group fitness classes over the years, so I feel like that's kind of the energy that I'm going to need to embody.
31:01What's your name?
31:02Andrea.
31:03We have Andrea here.
31:04Have fun, Andrea.
31:05I want you to demonstrate this first exercise for me. Firmly plant your foot up on the box just like that. As you step up, go ahead and grab onto that for me.
31:14Okay.
31:15And I want you to reach that right up top here. Big reach. Step. Excellent!
31:19It's getting kind of hot in here. Are you getting warmed up?
31:22Yes.
31:23Woo!
31:24I'm getting kind of warm.
31:26Oh, my.
31:27Yeah.
31:28Oh, my gosh.
31:29Yes!
31:31Those aren't even shorts.
31:32A nice exercise.
31:33They're the idea of shorts.
31:34I'm not typically the type of guy to just show off a lot of skin all the time, but I figured in this case, it probably was going to pay off.
31:40This next exercise is a squat, all right? I want you to hold onto this. That gift might be kind of heavy, right? Nice and low with me. Ready?
31:48Get down there.
31:49Yeah!
31:50I'm a married woman. I have an adult son.
31:53Oh, wow. She looks good. And again, back up. Nice. She's so good. I want to throw one more at you. Is that okay? Okay.
31:59We're going to get down to all fours really quick, okay? I want you to get up like that.
32:03Oh!
32:04Oh!
32:05Oh!
32:06Oh!
32:11And then we'll add that little twist at the end, okay? Ready?
32:14No way.
32:15I'm just kidding. Give it up for her!
32:16He understood the assignment.
32:19I believe the person to be based on the crowd reaction is Davey.
32:25I mean, he nailed it.
32:27Jonathan, I need a minute. I...
32:29You and me both, Gail.
32:33Okay. What is your ideal Christmas morning?
32:36Growing up, my ideal Christmas morning was opening presents because that was the best part, right?
32:41But now I'm a dad and it's become less about the tradition of the gifts on Christmas morning and more about my son and our new family being together in the same room.
32:49Thank you all for being here. I know it was really hard work watching all these fantastic men in perfect lighting perform for you.
32:59Don't forget to drop your votes into your favorite guy's ballot box on the way out.
33:04Good night, everybody. Thank you so much.
33:06Go vote, everybody. Go vote!
33:08I'm kind of at a loss to see who's gonna win. Like, everybody did so good.
33:13I just hope that I did enough to make it through another elimination.
33:18How do you guys feel?
33:20That was so much fun.
33:21Now, there's one more piece of business we have to discuss.
33:24We haven't revealed the advantage yet for Angel.
33:27That's right.
33:28Angel, you won the festive face-off and you will receive immunity in tonight's elimination.
33:35Here's the thing. You have the power to keep it for yourself or you can give it to one of your fellow guys who you think might be in jeopardy at going home.
33:46The choice will be yours. Think about what you want to do and I'll see you all at elimination.
33:53There's so many ways this can go wrong. It's a pressure I don't want. Thank you, but no thank you.
34:00Angel with the immunity.
34:02Yeah, Angel, that's gotta feel good, but also kind of could be uncomfortable.
34:07Yeah, man. I have a lot to think about.
34:10All right, ladies. We can't wait to hear what you thought.
34:12Yeah, yeah.
34:13Now, let's talk about who shined. The shirtless performance from Davey.
34:17How you feeling?
34:18You okay, Gail? Yeah. My heart is back to normal rhythm.
34:22You recovered from Davey? Yes.
34:24Okay, good.
34:25Of course, personal training and the act and all that, that was great.
34:29What about his answers?
34:30He was confident, even though he didn't go into great details about some things, but I was like, I get it. I connected with him.
34:36Then we have Rustin, who sang for us.
34:39I mean, can we?
34:41I mean.
34:42Hallmark, here we come. Yes.
34:44Because again, those emotions connecting with that and he was not afraid to show that.
34:49Make it normal for men to show emotions. Like that's a wonderful thing.
34:52I just wish he brought that same openness to the answer of his question.
34:56He was a little bit hesitant.
34:58That was the first time I think in this competition that I saw a crack in Rustin's armor.
35:01Yeah.
35:02And then we have Robbie, who gave us comedy.
35:05I'll just say it first. Stand up is hard. So for me, I'm giving him giant, giant props for a big swing.
35:11And I thought he did great.
35:12Yeah. And his jokes were funny.
35:13What did you think of his Jonathan Bennett jokes? He roasted you a little bit. How'd you feel?
35:17When someone roasts you, it is the biggest compliment and the biggest form of flattery and I love it.
35:22Yes.
35:23What about his answer?
35:24He answered the best.
35:26We talked about his mom, you know, and her situation. That touched my heart.
35:31And let's talk about who struggled. Craig, he gave us that rap that he wrote from scratch.
35:36A lot of confidence to come out and write this rap and share it with us.
35:40We were tapping under the table. I said, oh, and he has a little rhythm going with it.
35:43Yeah.
35:44It was flowing very nicely. I think kind of when we got to the questions though, you know, he was a little hesitant.
35:50He did not really answer the question. He kind of skated around.
35:53He spinned it.
35:54Yeah.
35:55I want to see more of the heartfelt part of Craig.
35:58Yes.
35:59So it's interesting that that's what you guys sort of keyed in a little bit too.
36:01Yeah.
36:02Then we have Gabriel.
36:03This is Mr. Christmas.
36:05I need that personality to shine before anything else.
36:08And I just wasn't seeing it.
36:10It's like it was more in his head than here.
36:13I was worried the whole time that he was doing his act that he was going to fall.
36:16Yes.
36:17And as an audience member, I don't want to be uncomfortable when I'm watching it.
36:20I don't want to be nervous.
36:21Yeah.
36:22I want to feel like I've been taken care of.
36:23Exactly.
36:24This is a tough decision, but we have to make it.
36:26Yeah.
36:27Walking into tonight's elimination, I'm nervous.
36:34The results are in the hands of the super fans and the audience members, not just Melissa
36:40and Jonathan.
36:41That's a complete wild card.
36:43Hello, gentlemen.
36:44Welcome back to another elimination where you will find out which one of you will be
36:48today's shining star and which one of you will be going home for the holidays.
36:53Guys, we asked you to show us your talents today.
36:56We were looking for originality, showmanship, vulnerability, and all around star quality.
37:02That's why we had two of our biggest super fans asking you questions that would show them
37:07what kind of leading man you would make.
37:09Alicia, Gail, you were sitting front and center.
37:12How do you think the guys did today?
37:13You guys did a wonderful job expressing yourselves in a variety of different ways.
37:18Saw a lot of hallmark star qualities.
37:21So I'm just as nervous as they are.
37:24Before we go any further, we do have to talk about the angel in the room.
37:30Um, I've been struggling with this.
37:35Will you be keeping the immunity for yourself or will you be gifting it to one of your guys?
37:41There's a voice in me that's telling me, Mr. Christmas is not selfish.
37:47The person that I choose to have this immunity is Robbie.
37:58Robbie talking about the death of his mom really triggered my late father.
38:05I know your parents are proud.
38:08I love you.
38:09I love you too.
38:11Angel, I know this was a tough decision for you, but the fact that you gave it away and
38:17didn't keep it for yourself is what being a hallmark leading man is all about.
38:20It is a true leading man move, but oh man, I hope it doesn't backfire.
38:26Now let's talk about a few standout performances.
38:29Davey, you really woke up the fans today.
38:33You gave a literal clinic on how to entertain on that stage.
38:37That's leading man quality right there.
38:39Oh, thank you.
38:40Rustin, you did your original song and the fans were brought to a beautiful place from it.
38:46Thank you. I appreciate that.
38:47There can only be one shining star.
38:49And today that person took a huge risk, answered the super fan questions with raw emotion,
38:55and received the most votes from the audience.
38:58The winner of this star quality challenge and tonight's shining star is...
39:08Robbie, congratulations.
39:11Sometimes immunity is just not needed.
39:14Robbie, you were so brave today and the audience agreed.
39:17You touched a lot of people and we appreciate that.
39:20And you took a huge risk making fun of the host on the show that you are on where he is a judge.
39:27Sorry about all the things I said about you, but maybe I'm not.
39:31Now, the hard part.
39:33I could be going home.
39:35What have I done?
39:37Gabe, Craig, will you please step forward?
39:42All right, let's do this.
39:47Gabe, we've been asking you to believe in yourself.
39:51And today we saw a glimpse of it, which is progress.
39:55But you still seem in your head a little bit and not in the moment.
39:59Craig, you have this confidence that is undeniable, but it almost feels like you're hiding behind it.
40:05You weren't really comfortable answering in a very authentic, real way.
40:11Gabe, Craig, one of you will be going home right now.
40:28Gabe, it's time to take your stocking down.
40:30You're going home for the holidays.
40:35You're a star.
40:36I believe it.
40:37We believe it.
40:38We just want you to believe it.
40:39The only competition in your way is you.
40:42And once you conquer that, the sky's the limit.
40:46Gabe, thank you so much.
40:48We can't wait to see what you do next.
40:51I'm disappointed that I didn't get my confidence quick enough to stay in this competition.
40:56I feel like I'm on the right track now though.
41:03The time is now to face any fears and go for it.
41:08Trust yourselves and take some leaps.
41:11I promise you it'll be worth it.
41:13We'll see you next time as the hunt for Mr. Christmas continues.
41:18I'm feeling such a sense of relief.
41:21But it still worries me Jonathan isn't seeing my depth or vulnerability.
41:24I need to find those other layers or I'm going home.
