00:13This full-size pickup is not only a powerhouse,

00:27for the first time in Toyota's history.
00:30The development of the Tundra took a full six years
00:34in close collaboration with the Walkingshaw Automotive Group.
00:38The aim was to transform the pickup, which was originally produced in the USA,
00:43into a model that perfectly suits Australian requirements,
00:46without compromising on quality or performance.
00:50The result is a real powerhouse that impresses with its E-Force Max Hybrid Drive.
00:55This consists of a 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine with twin turbocharging,
01:02which, together with an electric motor,
01:04delivers a system output of 326 kilowatts and a maximum torque of 790 newm.
01:09This allows the Tundra to effortlessly tow up to 4.5 tons and on any surface.
01:17The powerful drive concept works with a Zegen automatic transmission
01:21and a selectable all-wheel drive with low gear ratio.
01:23In normal operation, the rear wheels are driven via an automatic locking differential.
01:30High and low-range driving modes are also available for difficult terrain.
01:34A clever trailer load control including two towing modes,
01:40a 10-stage brake controller and an automatic reversing assistant
01:43round off the range of options for towing trailers perfectly.
01:48A trailer hitch with wiring and a towing ball for loads of up to around 3.5 tons
01:53are included as standard.
01:54The Tundra is based on the TGAFF ladder frame platform,
02:00which is also used in the Land Cruiser 300,
02:02and has an impressive length of around 6 meters and a width of around 2.4 meters.
02:09The wheelbase is 3.7 meters,
02:12which is 85 centimeters longer than the Land Cruiser 300.

03:31including an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat,

03:35and heated and ventilated front seats.
03:37The Platinum version goes one step further
03:41with genuine leather in blue and black.
